After weeks trying to book with them I finally was able to book for 12 people, as they are extremely busy. First problem was that they put 12 of us on a table that was for 8 people, so it was extremely uncomfortable. I rang them in advance and specifically told them that we would need more space, as there are some big guys in our group. Well apparently they didn't care. The place looks excellent but the food is not worth it the 60 euro for the fixed menu. Prawns were good, but the meat and the dessert were not good at all. Our waitress, a Mexican girl, was charming and super professional. Also the bathrooms were terrific. I'm short, 3 points over 5. One for the prawns, another one for the bathroom and a star for our waitress.

Worse restaurant I’ve been ever. Nice food, ambient very good, HOWEVER!.. We weren’t wearing nice cloths, cause We’re at the park before. And we felt they didn’t treat us properly. We didn’t finish ours meal and manager gave us bill, he definitely threw it on the table. I said to him I would like to get a dessert and he didn’t give me attention. I had to call a waiter and it was really embarrassing. We felt we weren’t welcome there. Seriously, worse place ever to go on a date. I wish they would read this review and from now on start preparing theirs staffs Better. DON’T JUDGE PEOPLE BY THEIRS CLOTHES. That’s all.

I went as part of a bigger group about 35 we where sat on the heated terrace. Was a bit cramped and the heaters are ridiculously close to your head very uncomfortable to be sat underneath one . We had a limited menu which included two starters none I liked . Main was a steak it was just OK but it was rescued by the desert which was absolutely amazing. I will return to try again in the main dining area.

I went there for a business dinner and the place is really nice to eat. Food came a little late but I assumed because we were a large group and they wanted to serve everyone at the same time. There have an outdoor terrace with an amazing view. It can be quite pricey so I would suggest to check the menu before you book a table. Enjoy.

Without doubt, one of the the best meals i have eaten. The starters were perfect, I could have eaten the salad as a main. The steaks (both sirloin and rib eye) are incredibly flavourful and the creamy peppercorn sauce is fantastic. I am not a desert person, but had to slow down because I was eating so fast. The cocktails are moorish and the wine selection is great. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

What a memorable night! So many great things to say about this place but right off the bad, I’d highly recommend coming here. Our waiter was great and offered us some great dishes to choose from. The vibe is spectacular inside and really makes it feel like an experience. The oysters were delicious and the steak was so juicy. I’d come here for a special occasion since prices are on the higher end but it’s worth it. The cocktails were great as well but we were blown away by the food that was served!

I recently had a spontaneous trip to FIRE Restaurant in Dublin, and despite not having a reservation, they accommodated us effortlessly. Opting for the Early Bird Menu, I started with Oysters complemented by a dash of Tabasco—an unreal combination. The highlight was a perfectly cooked medium rare steak fillet with flavorful crusty onions, accompanied by impeccable peppercorn sauce and chips. My partner thoroughly enjoyed the hake, which came with delightful mussels. We paired our meals with a fantastic Sauvignon from France. The dining experience concluded with a fluffy white chocolate cheesecake. The staff was incredibly nice and attentive, creating a warm and personal atmosphere. FIRE has swiftly become one of my favorite restaurants in Dublin, and we're eagerly looking forward to returning!

Really amazing restaurant. The food and service were exquisite. The atmosphere, really great. On face the only thing I would say was not of the highest standard would be the acoustics in the main dining area. The sirloin, grilled to perfection, the lamb rack was also amazing. The cocktails on offer were of great variety and taste. Loved everything about this experience.

I cannot state this enough. This place is fabulous. The staff are incredibly attentive but not intrusive. The building is amazing, a fabulous venue. From the moment we walked in to when we left it was a great experience. A really good selection of wines complemented truly wonderful food. We had the porterhouse sharing board, 100% recommended. Finished with cocktails. A great, great evening. Thank you Fire

The best customer service I’ve ever had in Ireland. Staff super polite. In addition to that, the food was fabulous. My partner and I went for the early bird at lunch time and we had the best experience ever. A great option for those looking for a lunch with good service and great food! Looking to coming back. Surprisingly, I had dinner here after reading all good reviews, and got disappointed of customer service, the lady who was at reception was very cold when i arrived, she asked if I wanted to wait in the reception (we booked a table and i arrived on-time , my friend was still on the way), i said no i would like to be seated, then she got another lady to walk me upstairs to our table. We booked an outdoor table, there were other 2 tables at that time (so not too busy), waiters/waitresses who served our table were nice (especially the man in suit, i guess he's the manager), but they got my drink wrong, and i also had to remind them 2 times for my coke to be served. Food is great but the display is somehow not met my expectation. What upset me the most was when we left I said thank you and bye to the same lady at the reception but she did not response. Nice food but i will not come back! Updates: i saw a few reviews mentioning staffs judge if you're underdressed, right that day i wore jean, that may answer!

Simply SPECTACULAR and delicious! We had a fantastic dinner with top-notch service at Fire Steakhouse in Dublin. Beautiful decor, great ambiance. A must-repeat experience! Lucky to snag a spot without a reservation; 30 minutes later, the place was fully booked.

American Review - if you’re looking for a place that has both a great atmosphere and reasonable upscale food look no further! We ordered onion soup (amazing) and various cuts of steaks with sides. Everything was delicious and very reasonable compared to other steakhouses. We highly recommend!

We went to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. To my surprise they didn't ask to hang out the coats when we arrived. The reception staff was so kind, the waitress was a little bit less helpful. The food was very good but the price is definitely overpriced. You're paying because of the place and the winnings of it. At the end of the meal, they brought us a very beautiful birthday plate with our dessert. But as a very high rated place I expect maybe a glass of something as complimentary. The wine was nice. It was a nice experience but definitely overrated.

Great location and atmosphere! We came in for the early bird dinner and had three courses for €45 pp. For starters had the ‘Oysters’ which was really fresh, for main got the ‘Sirloin’ which had a €15 supplement and it was fantastic and worth the extra money. To finish off, had the ‘Lemon Tart’ for dessert which was creamy and very tasty! They also have great selection of wines and cocktails! Really recommend for a date night!

My husband and I dined here this evening. I have always wanted to try it, and I'm so glad that we were able to go this evening! Our table was booked for 17:30 and, while there weren't many full tables at that time, there was still some great vibes and atmosphere. Food was amazing - we ordered from the €60 set menu + €15 surcharge for my husband's steak. Food was cooked really well, extremely tasty, and portions were deceivingly generous. Service was impeccable; formal but I really liked that. Our waiter was absolutely fantastic. Tables were large, and plenty of room between tables so you could have a private conversation with ease. As soon as I walked in the door, I felt like I was in an experience. I would absolutely dine here again.

Outstanding from start to finish! Enjoyed a wonderful evening at Fire. Service was top notch in the bar and at our table. Food was beautifully cooked and presentation was superb. We opted for the 3 course set menu which offered really good value all round. Some of the dishes carry a supplement (the prawns amd the rib eye steak) but they are worth choosing if you like these! If you like cauliflower then the side order of cauliflower is a must!! Two cocktails were equally beautiful. We sat on the terrace and the view of Dawson St as the evening closed in was wonderful. We look forward to our next visit soon! Thanks to everyone there for a memorable time!

Food was absolutely amazing, full of flavor, well prepared and cooked. Presentation of food was inviting and decor warm and intimate making for a great date or private family dinner. The only improvement that could be made would have to be to the service as coats were not taken until later after arriving, was given a glass that wasn't completely clean and staff knowledge of menu and wines could be improved. However a wonderful overall experience!

What a marvelous experience! We were in town to celebrate a wedding, managed to find an evening for date night and chose FIRE. A building rich in history, decor and amazing culinary delights. We shared French Onion soup, enjoyed Beef Fillets, Mashed Potatoes and a garden salad. The beef fillets you could cut with a fork, unbelievable flavor and perfectly cooked. My boyfriend loved the mushroom sauce, but the steaks don't need any sauce, they have so much flavor on their own. We split the strawberries with vanilla ice cream for dessert. I would highly recommend FIRE, the best steak I've ever experienced with a lively atmosphere to match!

Gorgeous place! Make reservations in advance. Steak is cooked perfectly to the temperature you ask for. I wasn’t feeling the steak because I had steak last night. So I ordered Lemon Sole fish for dinner that was excellent. French onion soup was truly delicious. But there were small nat’s flying around the table. That’s my only dislike about my experience.

I've been waiting for years for an opportunity to get in here, and it lived up to my expectations. From the quality of the food to the wow factor of the place, it is a unique place for a great experience. We were a party of 6 and we all got steak, absolutely delighted with it and recommend it. I also got a side of those chestnut mushroom with caramelized onions, it was absolutely gorgeous. They do offer a great selection of wine to pair with your meal. I highly recommend it !

The atmosphere and staff were grand. Lovely reception hall. The list of wine is enormous, lot of options, and I chose one that was amazing. The good was good, we had 3 courses each one, some were better than other, but overall a good restaurant. Quite expensive, however the location and service fits with it.

Came here with my dad to celebrate. Steak was absolutely gorgeous and cooked perfectly. Starter was the crab and crayfish which was also delicious. I opted for the bone marrow with my steak as well which was a great addition. At the end of the meal we thought we would be getting a big bill but that wasn’t the case, great value for money! Also the waitress must of overheard me and my dad discussing my recent course I passed (why we were out celebrating) and without saying anything brought us that Congratulations dish. It’s attention to detail like that which made this a magnificent meal. Hats off to the staff and chefs.

FIRE Steakhouse is totally worth the hype. The atmosphere is absolutely breathtaking, the service is excellent, and the menu is top notch. Not to mention, the beef is wow. It cuts like butter! Not an exaggeration either. It is so, so tender and flavorful. I recommend sitting out on their covered terrace. It has a lovely view of the garden and the quaint street that it's located on. I recommend the cesar salad and steak. It's a classic steak house combo and FIRE does it very well. The only downside to this establishment are the washrooms! I couldn't believe how beautiful the restaraunt is and then the washrooms are not that well maintained. Especially, as a woman some of the doors did not close properly or even have hooks on the back of the doors. I had no where to place my jacket or purse. I thought that was the most bizarre thing for an upscale restaurant, but at the end of the day it does make a difference. Regardless we will definitely be back, but ladies be prepared!

Highlight restaurant of our entire trip, Marcel was an excellent 5* server, and the food was incredible. We got the prawns, soup, and steak with bone marrow. Left feeling absolutely spoiled, and even tried to come back again for dinner. That good! Definitely worth going, be sure to make a reservation.

Food was exquisite and service was excellent. Would recommend. We ordered wood fired tiger prawns, rack of Irish Lamb with side of cauliflower gratin. Dessert of white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake (to die for) The mocktail drink Mango Caipirinha was yummy

Had a wonderful dining experience here. Really worth the extra money for the atmosphere and design in the restaurant. The staff were lovely and all of the food was incredible. The only negative thing I would say is that i’d like to see the steak plated with a bit more going on, it was quite plain. However either way the food was amazing.

Beautiful building with a great atmosphere. Our server, Danielle, was very friendly, put us all at ease and helped us work through the menu. Food was delicious, with our whole party very impressed. Had the prawn starter, with lots of garlic butter. Sirloin steak cooked to perfection with a hot peppery sauce and chunky chips, ended with the cheese board. Will definitely be back

One of the good restaurants to visit in Dublin. The steaks were excellent. It’s a great venue for hosting events as well. There were 50 of us in one section of the restaurant. The location is easy to get to and it has a nice compound. The restaurant on level 2 overlooks the garden. We had several other dishes besides steak. Mostly good. No complaints.

Wow what a great experience! The service was fantastic, thank you to Brid for all her efforts, she was really lovely. Plus the bartender (I believe his name was Duane) who made an amazing Vesper Martini. The space is great which a wonderful atmosphere and delicious food. We will most definitely come back

I enjoyed the meal here and would totally recommend it to anyone. The ambiance is great and really great service. One thing tho is that we had to keep asking for things like ketchup, salt, Tabasco sauce etc which I feel could have been on each table like you see in most restaurants. Aside from this, would totally recommend.

  • 5/5 Mike S. 2 years ago on Google
Yes obviously it’s quite expensive, but the meat and service is absolutely top quality. The restaurant itself is stunning on the inside and has a great atmosphere. We went for the 3 cuts as we like a bit of variety and it’s probably the best value for money - I’d do the same again.

This was a really fabulous experience. A warm cozy atmosphere. Extensive menu with a great early bird option. The terrace is a delight. There are lovely party side tables for a more intimate group setting. The staff were so attentive. A happy memory for me. Thank 😊 you

Absolutely gorgeous food here, people say its expensive but its not its round same price as other places around town. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Lovely pints and cocktails from the bar, cant go wrong here...2 starters 2 mains and bottle of wine €135 well worth it

We ate here after the first lockdown and it was amazing. We still talk about the meal we had. Unfortunately I fell down the stairs after the meal. The floor was quite slippy however my tall shoes and the half bottle of wine at dinner probably contributed to it. No injuries and I'll definitely be returning for another meal

One of my favorite places, honestly, if you have a special day. The staff are lovely, the place is sophisticated, the food is delicious (so much that I forgot to click dessert xD) with good portions, a solid drinks menu - unlikely that I wouldn't go back ❤️
