Food was good, a lil bit too much butter everywhere, but tasty! The ambience nice, even if when u see it from the entrance you might think it is a small place, but it is actually big, clean, fancy! The problem there is that they do everything on fast forward! Bread and butter, 10 min later the first course, 5 min after first course the other one, 5 min later the desert! Unfortunately the food has caused us trouble all night

Beautiful place to have lunch with great service however the quality of the food certainly didn't match the high prices! We tried the chicken and beef, both of which were mediocre at best. The boiled potatoes were honestly not much better than the those available in a supermarket and the chips really weren't good. Desserts were pretty good but nothing particularly special. The worst of all were the two pots of tea we ordered - 9 euro each for a standard Barry's/Lyons tea bag and some hot water. Naturally we complained about this and got a reduction but this is definitely a poor offering given the beautiful loose leaf teas they serve for cheaper in the afternoon tea room at the front of the hotel. Lovely ambiance but definitely wouldn't return unless food standards were raised.

Had the most beautiful lunch with my elderly mother, brother and sister in law. We were taken care of from the moment we stepped out of the car Our car was parked and Greg looked after it until we came out. Paul our waiter looked after it through the meal and ensured we had a table by the fire in the bar which we retired to after the meal. The food was freshly cooked and so tasty. Overall, we had a lovely first class experience and will be definitely be back. Congratulations to the staff and management of the Sherbourne Hotel.

We recently dined at the Saddle Room Restaurant, and our experience left us absolutely delighted. Our host, Gokcen, was a delight. Her friendliness and genuine care for our dining experience were truly appreciated. The restaurant's manager (Silvano), leads an exceptional team, and it was evident throughout our evening. Oisin, in particular, stood out. His warm and welcoming demeanor enhanced our night. He recommended the finest dishes, contributing to our memorable experience. Thanks to Mateo, we were treated to an incredible red wine that truly elevated our meal to something unforgettable. I highly recommend the Saddle Room Restaurant for any occasion, especially those special moments that deserve a touch of excellence.

We had a gorgeous meal last night. We could not find one fault, everything was impeccable. €59 for 3 courses is very reasonable considering the high standard of the food. We also had the most lovely waiter named Freddie who was polite and attentive. Really great experience overall. We most definitely will be back!

Overall, this was a fantastic dining experience which was enhanced immeasurably by Carla who looked after us so well. She was top class, professional and had a really chilled out vibe about her which made us feel comfortable and added to the night. We opted for some cocktails before dinner and even though the Whiskey Sour isn't on the menu, I was able to get one after asking if it was possible. The food was cooked to perfection and my crab starter was faultless. Creamy and so tasty. My partners braised pork cheek croquette was melt in your mouth good with a nice crunch to the croquette. For main we went for the chateaubriand cooked medium rare and it was absolutely perfect and seasoned beautifully. It is carved and served tableside and unfortunately this is what makes this review a 4 star review instead of a 5 star one. While it was being carved and served, the person didn't utter a single word which made it quite awkward as it took a couple of minutes. We were not expecting fireworks and somersaults but some simple small talk would have made a world of difference. Cheesecake and cheese board desserts were a great end to a great meal.

Second Visit- Lived up to previous experiences. Went with family to celebrate a very special occasion. Exceptional service with delicious dishes from their Table D’Hote menu. This place is simply the best! Stunning restaurant. Beautifully appointed for both privacy, comfort and style. From the moment you arrive to warm welcomes from the staff to the moment you leave every facet of the service is exceptional and professional. Food was great value at €65 euros for three courses with optional extras also at a reasonable cost. Looking forward to returning here very soon.

Not worth the money in my opinion. €95 for ‘festive menu’ nothing festive about it. Far more places in Dublin for better food and value for money now. No sides with you meal although service was very good. Wouldn’t go back.

Me and my friend had afternoon tea in this restaurant. The food was fabulous but the best thing was the staff. Everyone was so nice to us. The lady that looked after us (unfortunately I can't remember her name, I'm sorry) was so kind and lovely. When my friend started to have a migraine she even brought us a painkiller. Many thanks to everyone that made my birthday an extraordinary experience!

Recently went to celebrate my sisters graduation and the food was amazing, really reasonable for a 3 course meal, complimentary glass of wine when we went which was a great touch. The staff were extremely friendly, Yara, Jennifer, and Lorenzo. Very attentive but not over pushy. Food was presented really beautifully and really well cooked. Clean and presentable at all times! Highly recommend 🙌🏻🙌🏻

We recently went for our wedding anniversary on 22 December . The staff are absolutely amazing they were welcoming, warm and so professional. The food menu was ridiculously expensive for what we were served (99 euros a head) - I ordered halibut and I got an overcooked small tail - the rest of meal was nice but again at that price for what we got was disproportional. The chairs in the saddle room dining room need to be replaced- there is no support and I’ve actually ended up with a spasmed back muscle. Marriot need to up their game.

Nice place for a special occasion! The service was impecable and the food was not bad either. It can be a bit noisy (depending on what time you go) since people walk in and out - the restaurant layout is a bit odd. We share bottle of Valpolicella Ripasso, and since we were hungry we ordered the Foie Gras Royale to share (from the A La Carte Menu), which was delicious. We also went for the Table D’Hote 3 course menu. For starters we got the Cured Castletownbere Salmon and the White and Green Asparagus. Both were very lovely! For mains we got the Wild Mushroom Risotto and the Charred Short Rib of Kells Beef. The risotto was good and the short rib was a little dry. To finish off, we had the Pavlova and Crème Brûlée, our favorite!

Beautiful historic hotel which has undergone a spectacular renovation. The accommodations were first-rate and the service was excellent. The food was terrific; even room service. It was a real treat to stay there. If you want to stay in style in the middle of Dublin this is your spot. Stephens Green is across the road with Government Buildings and the National and Natural History museums around the corner. Rooms were lovely. The street is busy though. Really lovely hotel - piano, marble, air con - A thousand times better than the Kildare Street Hotel. Enjoy

Cannot praise everything about this iconic hotel enough from the moment you are met at the door to every facility offered.A great start to the day is a hot towel shave in the excellent in house Johnathans barbers offered by Richard and Paul.

Loved it... historic and class is how to sum this hotel up. Nothing else like it. We stayed in the original rooms and faced out to kildare street... you feel the history and stories coming out from the entire place 5 star all the way... worth a visit
