We had a pleasant dining experience. Went in for lunch on St.Stephen's Day and it was indeed very busy. The front office were quick to check our reservation and COVID vaccine certificate, post which we were ushered to our seating. The restaurant was aesthetically appealing, spacious and can accommodate quite a lot of people. For an efficient service, there were many staffs on duty to attend the large inflow of people. All the Food items we had were good, served fresh and hot. The staffs who attended us were kind and professional. The restrooms were maintained to impeccable standards. For someone expecting a quiet dining experience, this may not be your place especially during peak hours. Also there was a Service Charge of 12.5% with the bill.

Went for dinner yesterday night and everything was perfect! We took the stake with green beans and Parmesan truffle fries - with tempura prawns as a starter. Everything was top notch, tasty, fresh and very well presented! Service was exceptional too.. great advice on meals to order & tasty cocktails.. we even got a complimentary dessert! Highly recommended for a special occasion, considering the decor is very 1920’s and the bar is very stylish.

We absolutely love this restaurant! The food is delicious. I had the fish & chips. The fish was tasty, and the chips were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They were perfect. The waiter was friendly and attentive. The decor is unique. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Very pretty, but very expensive. Tables incredibly close to each other as well. If you are larger than a size 10, you may find yourself struggling to gracefully sit in the booth without knocking into the table beside you. (You can see how close the tables are in the picture of my flat steak—which was fine, but nothing special; and the fries weren’t very exciting either.) There is also a 12.5% service charge automatically included in the bill—which I’m told does not always go to the waitstaff. It was also incredibly busy and crowded, but I suppose that in a place where I am primarily paying for the atmosphere, I would have liked a little more space to myself to enjoy it without feeling like I was imposing on the people sitting beside me by just trying to take a seat at my table.

I don’t even know where to begin. Absolutely perfect in every aspect: the staff is nice, helpful and polite. The atmosphere is very warm, lots of plants, good music and comfortable seats. Drinks were amazing, there is one with pepper and pineapple juice that was the best that I’ve ever had. Food was also a nice surprise but without a doubt the highlights were the salad with crisp duck and the creme brûlée for desert. I loved it and would definitely recommend!

The service is great! The most attentive team working there. Prices are also fair. I had the burger & it had a very satisfying bite to it. Taste great too! The ambiance & deco is catered for, & very nice for outgoing personality types. It can get very busy and noisy due to the popularity!

The cocktails were good but the food preparation wins hands down for me. The halloumi grill is the most flavourful and tasty dish I ever tasted in Dublin in years. Very busy tables but the staff were highly attentive. Fair play to the team.

Good food, good service. Why 4 stars?: - too loud, wasn't able to hear opposite part of the table - waiters not knowledgeable in wine culture - not all dishes were available, e.g. rib eye steak wasn't available Overall experience: had a lovely evening with our friends

Overall it is an overrated restaurant. Food wasnt prepared as supposed: eggs were almost boiled instead of poached (for two plates). They replaced one of them. For the third salmon plate it barely has a bit of salmon. Bread wasn't up to standards (both the gluten and the non-gluten one). Fresh juice is good. For the same money you pay here you can get way more value in a different place.

Great decor as always with the Ivy, but it felt more like a kid friendly family place than anything else. Staff was super kind. Food was bland unfortunately, every dish was one disappointment after the other as they were all quite flavorless. There are so many great brunch places in Dublin so we will not be going back here.

Gorgeous super strong cocktails, the place itself is absolutely stunning and the food was as beautiful. Eggs Royale were average but..,desserts were show stoppers!!! Had the chocolate bomb and a whiskey creme brûlée. 100% recommended (PS: not cheap but an incredible treat for any occasion!)

Amazing food + classy ambience but expensive service charge. I went to the ivy on a date in mid October and the halloween decor was on point. We started off with few cocktails and the crispy duck salad which i would recommend as it was the best dish we had while there.

We walked by this beautiful restaurant and decided to give it a try, since the restaurant was pretty full. We didn’t make a reservation, but the host was nice enough to give us a table. It is a very nice and luxurious restaurant - nice decor, friendly staff, and good service. We ordered scallops, shepherd’s pie, Crème brûlée, and Irish coffee for our lunch. Everything was delicious! Will definitely come back again for dinner, and remember to make a reservation! Nice restaurant for special occasions, dates, or celebrations!

Loved the ambience, up in Dublin for a special occasion & wanted somewhere special. The attention to detail on service was A1. Definitely felt worth the price for the experience. 12.5% service automatically added to bill in our case (3 people) was justified but don't agree with this as a rule. Soups & Prawn Cocktail for starters, Fish & Chicken dishes mains, Melting Chocolate Bomb was divine.🍽️

We enjoyed a celebration here and would recommend the venue for it's beautiful setting and decor. The restaurant is well-known for it's Monkfish and Prawn Curry and this dish didn't disappoint. The highlight of the whole meal for me was a Chocolate Bomb dessert, although I was informed, that the cheesecake was also delicious. I didn't try the cocktails and thought they seemed a bit pricey.

I was directly surprised by this restaurant, from the outside to see the bright lights inside, bright and clean, full of that kind of chic feeling. The deco is very beautiful and lifestyle with green plants. the lighting inside is good, the tables and chairs are very fashionable. Needless to say, the food was delicious, the seafood was fresh and cooked just right, and the sauce was also very good. Overall, dining there is a kind of enjoyment, indoors has the feeling of outdoor, in the daytime has the feeling of night. Well worth a visit, the service is great, professional.

Food was very good despite a slow start regarding what foods contain dairy and what can be prepared differently. The lobster bisque is not made on site which was a surprise. Tea has free refill which is nice. The waiters and reception staff were very kind and professional otherwise. A bit on the pricey side altogether but worth it as an experience or a special occasion.

1st time at the Ivy, went on Friday 6.30 p.m. booking, got there earlier so at our seats on time... Lots of choice, I had the blackened cod fillet with a side of peas/sugarsnaps/ jasmine rice... The others in group had Monkfish & Prawn Curry Dessert Selection of ice creams Sorbet There were loads of staff on, we were asked to finish our drinks at bar so they could get table ready for the 8p.m. sitting but there was such a good atmosphere we didn't mind at all... Highly recommend it, I'll definitely be back 👍👍

Really great. Top tier service and very good food. The sharing steak with bone marrow butter is to die for! Definitely worth it. Cocktails are very expensive but can't fault them, delicious!! Perfect spot for a special celebration.

Loved the location very quick and easy to get to. Walked in off the street for lunch and had zero wait. Staff was very friendly and ambiance was excellent. Music trendy and at an appropriate volume. Food was the fish and chips. As well as the eggs Benedict with truffle chips. Was cooked excellent and came quickly. Would come back again for sure.

When you like a restaurant and have had great experiences there, the concern is that it can only go downhill. However The Ivy in Dublin has always lived up to expectations. The atmosphere is great with a lively vibe and great music. Service is great and attentive. Food is delightful. It is relaxed and you feel welcome unlike The Ivy in Edinburgh where being served is a bother and the staff are condescending. Great evening. Might appear a bit pricey but worth it.

We had an amazing dinner here at The Ivy. The food was so good and the service was amazing. Definitely recommend checking out this amazing restaurant. The deco there is really pretty too. Make sure you make reservations well in advance as they do get very busy!

We are a couple visiting from the Netherlands and we passed by this place on a walk and made a reservation. The staff at FOH on 26/9/21 around 7pm were very friendly and bubbly. The server who was with us that night her name was Chloe I believe was extremely attentive and polite. The food was amazing in my opinion and the service time was great because we were able to enjoy our drinks before the food and during. The other staff helping were very fun as well and even had a little conversation with us. Working myself in the service management industry I find the level of interaction we had and the experience at the ivy on this date was great and an example! The price is reasonable for the location and the quality. The portions are great. We were a bit shocked at the big portions because where we come from the portions aren't that big but it was delicious enough to eat it all. Worth every moment and will come again and recommend it to others.

Food & Ambience was great but the waiter spilled food on my partner's dress on her birthday and never bothered to even apologize. Didn't even look at us. Don't want to pull the 'R' word but we felt out of place. I don't know if other Non Irish people have felt this before.

This was a fabulous place to dine, the menu is vast and a good variety. Food was pristine. Service was nearly 100%, nice atmosphere. Couldn't recommend enough, will be back to try more of the menu.

Relaxed ambience for breakfast, the menu have plenty of good and healthy options. I ordered a detox green juice, with poached eggs with avocado and salmon on top of the best homemade brown bread I ever had. To drink I ordered hot chocolate, and that was really creamy and came with cute and tasty pastries. The Ivy is my favorite place for breakfast.

Really beautiful place, but the food is just decent. I am willing to pay high prices for amazing food, but nothing we had was worth the price. The steak tartare and chicken were just good the truffle mash was great! We also had the Brussel sprouts but watch out, they are boiled.

Beautiful interior and that's the main selling point of this restaurant! The service and food is good, but the typical brunch menu. I tried the eggs avocado and they're a reliable choice. Very good coffee too.

Enjoyed a delicious dinner in a very nice atmosphere. Love the interior. Quite busy, but personnel was very friendly and we could have some drinks while waiting for our table. Great place for a celebration as well!

The Ivy in Dublin is a beautiful and elegant restaurant located in the heart of the city. The moment you step inside, you are greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for a wonderful dining experience. The decor is stylish and sophisticated, with plush seating and elegant lighting. The menu at The Ivy offers a wide variety of dishes to choose from, including contemporary European cuisine with an emphasis on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. I had the pleasure of trying their duck salad, which was cooked to perfection and served with fresh vegetables. The steak and fish dishes were also delicious. The sides and appetizers were also well presented and tasty. The service at The Ivy is top-notch. The waitstaff are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, The Ivy in Dublin is a fantastic restaurant with great atmosphere and delicious food. Highly recommend visiting for a special occasion or a night out with friends.

I went to the Ivy Dawson st. this past weekend for a birthday meal with my family. The experience was excellent. Actually, I would say it was the best customer service I have experienced in a while. Really top notch waiting and service staff. Everything seemed very relaxed. There was also a lovely little surprise at the end because they had a small birthday cake for me which I really appreciated. I will definitely be back :)

Lovely food and drinks. One of the hosts was so rude that I didn't even know how to comment. If you're not getting a full dinner, you will be treated as a waste. Bar staff was way more professional. You can find way better restaurants in dublin.

I loved the interior decoration, the food was fancy and delicious as well but it didn’t worth the high price. They serve delicious hot chocolate 😍 recommended 🫶

Best brunch in Dublin! I came back for a second time it was so good. Very attentive staff and delicious food. The decor is eclectic and very nice also. Would recommend making a reservation as it gets very busy!

Beautiful decor as usual for The Ivy. Atmosphere was lively, but not loud enough that you couldn't have a conversation. Food was delicious and we couldn't eat all of eat so it was packed in a takeaway box for us. Service was a little slow, but very polite and friendly. Great location - just a walk away from the tram stop and Grafton Street.

Visited the Ivy tonight and had the most amazing experience from start to finish. Our waitress Emily was so attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. The manager Jamie brought us to our table and was very welcoming. Will definitely be visiting again in the near future. Thanks guys!
