TLDR: What a waste of hard earned money. Nando's used to be a regular staple in my diet and social gatherings at uni almost a decade ago. I revisited it only very recently through Deliveroo and I was honestly shocked at the difference in pretty much everything across cost, quality and most strikingly portion size and value. I decided to walk down memory lane again, ordering again once more about 3 months after that and in-restaurant. I just can't recommend Nando's any longer. The food is extremely poor value, the Fino sides are a thing of the past and the pandemic has robbed the franchise of a few key traits that distinguished the experience. Re the actual food, the chicken thigh is ok, the breast is overcooked, the fake chicken is phenomenal but any goodness that represents is unabashedly tarnished by the stale bread it was served on and cold fries that came on the side. Genuinely unforgivable. What a sad transformation this franchise has had.

This Nando's is much better than the one in Dublin 1 - much more space and not so crowded. The chicken is quite good, while side dishes may vary. Still not sure why I had a 3 euros taxes on my bill, considering I did not get any sugar drink..

Lovely staff. The food is good. My friend Fabian and I tried the hot chicken wings challenge which is a plate of 10 chicken wings that are supposed to be arranged in a mysterious unknown order from least spicy to spiciest. It was tasty, but not very spicy. I think that it was designed for Irish people. Thank you.

Since we discovered Nandos there at Milton Keynes, it has always been a safe choice, and this one in our visit to Dublin did not dissapoint. absolutely fantastic.

2021 update: It's even worse! (See plate picture). Size reduced 60-70% in thighs. Now either chickens got smaller or nandos got stingy... Original --------- I need to change my review. Recently Nandos decreased the chicken portion by 50% for the same price! It's true for all chicken- based meals but especially for the chicken thighs, which are literally half of what they were!!! The staff when asked denied everything... even though I've been coming to nandos for years so I definetly know they're 50% smaller. Quality of food is still the same mind, just portion size decreased 50% and they're not even upfront about it.

I always enjoy Nandos. I love the double chicken wrap extra spicy. Staff are usually very friendly and the food is quick but also fresh. I like the fact that the spicy sauce is actually very spicy. I do think it's a little expensive for what you get. I tend to visit once every few weeks though as I love the chili kick of their spicy chicken. I also like the fact that the chicken is grilled and not deep fried

The food was good. Make sure to try all of the sauces, even the extra extra hot! Least favorite part of the meal was the spicy rice. I got a hot butterfly with macho peas and spicy rice and gravy with a cloudy lemonade to drink. Solid B for a restaurant. Service was kind but it took about 20 minutes to get our food.

Super flavorful char on the chicken. Sauces were definitely not as spicy as I expected but it was very enjoyable! The sides were decent, the chicken is the star. Staff was great!

So disappointed of this place. I don’t know about the dish with meat, but the vegetarian options we tried were so tasteless. It was ready so quick, which made sense when we bite in our food… it was really boring.. and clearly poor in portion as my wrap was mostly filled with lettuce… The staff however was very kind and the place looks cute :)

As an avid fan of Nando’s London, I was beyond excited to see a Nando’s restaurant upon my arrival to Dublin. I love this place. It’s exquisite and the staff were very friendly. The peri-peri chicken is delicious. However, sharing plates might be a little small for hungrier people. Thank you!

What a nice colourful plate. I am not the person who likes spicy food however this place satisfies all customer waitings. Compliments to the marinating technique, chicken breast was like a delight. Waitress, was okey but service quality might be upgraded for sure. My selection from lean menu was Lemon and Herb's and I went for same topping. At the end of the day i was cleaning up the plate. I can't understand why such a great restaurant still uses two euro frozen fries...

Nandos serve great food . It is such a relaxed atmosphere in every branch I've ever visited. Staff were super helpful and friendly in Andrew on Sunday last . My go to when I'm looking for fast efficient service and great food. Refill your drink as many times as you want too. What's not to like.

Usually love Nando’s but had a shocking experience today. Tried to order the imitator wrap as a burger and the staff refused. I have had this in Nando’s multiple times and I do not understand why this was an issue on this occasion. I am vegetarian and really enjoyed this meal I was offered no alternative even after I said I would pay extra and tried to order a burger bun as a side instead.

The food was/is great. Only give 4 stars for the food because, to me, the best BBQ chicken like this is only Galinha Dourada in Portugal Cartaxo. To me, nothing beats that chicken to this date. Nandos was good. the only thing I dislike is ordering via an app, so if u want to have another beer or something else, you have to grab your phone and place an order again.

Food was good. Ive had better nandos food. But it was above average. A bit loud. But really nice staff.

The staff here are always always helpful. Try the Portuguese-style chicken liver if it's available (they don't always have it). In the physical paper menu, it will list dishes with two options 1) on its own and 2) with two side dishes. But if you scan the QR code for the online menu, you can choose to have only one side dish. Good tips if you feel two side dishes are too much.

I’ve been to multiple Nando’s in the UK and I almost always love it, but this Nando’s in Dublin has been my favourite so far! It was the most delicious and a 10/10…Would definitely recommend it!

Nando's is great for a quick in and out lunch/dinner, we liked it. Very busy please so if you are looking to dine in peace this is definitely not the place to go to, it was absolutely packed. Great to have the free refills 😊

The staff at Nando’s are exceptional, very professional and welcoming. My rating reflects the food only. Peri peri chicken was quite dry. Sides were quite bland and not made from good quality ingredients. I recognise it’s a fast food chain but I expected a bit better in terms of taste at least.

To be fair the food was ok no issues with that. However I really hated the fact that I had to place my order using my mobile phone. Firstly nobody told us about this until we were sitting there for a while. Then we had to go through the very tedious process of selecting all the options from the phone. When one goes out for a meal it should be a hassle free experience and this ordering process was anything but. Why not employ staff that simply write down your order in the usual way? In addition the table was unstable and rocked over and back causing the drinks to spill. Overall I would not be rushing back to this place.

Nando's is always consistent with their quality of food, be it in Ireland or any other part of the world. This venue is amazing, the ambiance is very cosy, the staff are wonderful. Definitely looking forward to my next visit here.

As a tourist from America, restaurants in Europe are a confusing experience. I was with a group of five others so we walked in and were immediately greeted and showed to a table, they explained the menu and how to order and any questions that we had- they answered immediately. Truly, they were amazing. If I’m ever back in Dublin, I’ll be returning.

A really good Portuguese restaurant that is always playing Brazilian music! The food is good and not expensive. They have all you can drink soda and I really enjoy going there. This restaurants usually doesn't have lines.

Ordered from nandos app provided 2 phone numbers to contact me outside the hospital. Didn't get any calls and contacted the restaurant manager Ciara said it's not their responsibility and It was like ping pong ball between delveroo and nandos. Useless manager and management it's simply delivery has nothing to do with them even though you ordering from nandos app. So my advice to everyone if you ordering from them be aware of that there will be support or help from nandos as all you will hear is few excuses from everyone. Customer service in nandos is 0 no help no other option simply she didn't give a....... I will never ever eat in nandos again or go even near it. I would rather starve. You will get a better customer service and more professional dealing and handling problem in local takeaway because it's seems all the training they get in big restaurants it makes no difference.

I like nandos very much but this restaurant has practically turned me off nandos all together. Chicken tastes funny, is undercooked and service is questionable. And now with Covid + Brexit they seem incapable to take an order and to cope with supplying a decent meal. Very disappointing place!
