Visited here mid-week for a dinner with friends. You have to book in advance. There is nearly no way that you will find a seat as a drop in! Trust me, it is worth it. This restaurant easily has some of the best food and drink I've had in Dublin. Everything we ordered was delicious, from a couple of starters to share, the pasta, the veal I had as a main and the wine! A couple of mentions are the burrata which was melt in the mouth delicious and the veal main was unbelievably good. I'd go back in a heartbeat for those dishes. We picked a white wine from the restaurant recommendations and it was gorgeous. Clearly they know what they are doing here! The restaurant is pretty small with a lot of tables fit in and if there was a negative it would be that it was quite loud inside - but that is more because of a big table next to us than anything else. It wouldn't put me off returning. The staff were lovely, the right amount of attentive and helpful. The restaurant is more suitable for friends/dates/a meal with colleagues. I wouldn't hesitate to come here again for another delicious meal!

Came here with my girlfriend for the first time last week, hearing good reviews and wanting to try it for ourselves. Well, it didn't disappoint. Our waiter had a great attitude (I'm sorry I forget his name but the young guy, black hair) and made us feel very welcome as soon as we were seated. Absolutely gorgeous atmosphere. Quaint spot you would almost miss if walking past. Everything from the bread to the tiramisu special at the end were like butter and all melted in your mouth. Both desert specials were "the best I've ever had" from both myself and my girlfriend. I had the tiramisu and she had the 3 chocolate special. Please put both on the menu! Cannot rate it highly enough, will absolutely be back.

Gorgeous restaurant! Couldn’t recommend it enough. The staff were extremely polite and kind, their service was exceptional. They were quite busy on the Thursday night we went (two big parties) and they still managed to accommodate us on both a short notice and without a booking. The food is simply gorgeous, you cannot go wrong here. If you’re going to order a starter, let it be the calamari which is so soft and crispy at the same time with an amazing sauce. For mains we had the risotto and the lobster tagliatelle and both dishes can’t be recommended enough. The risotto is spicy and perfectly seasoned with a melted Burrata in the middle and sprinkled with soft shrimp and the lobster tagliatelle is subject to availability so it’s a must have if they have it. The past is homemade and soft and the lobster is meaty and melts in your mouth. They also have a huge wine selection which we unfortunately didn’t try as weren’t in the mood to drink. But it’s a perfect date night spot (a bit pricey maybe but you get quality and service for that price) so definitely make time for this

Wow. If you want authentic delicious Italian food, you NEED to come here. Service where the staff care and look after you along with food that is next level, fresh and tasty. You NEED to try the scallop ravioli, you won’t regret it at all

The food, service and atmosphere are incredible! I totally recommend this place for some authentic Italian food. I would say some of the best in Dublin. You must try the Ravioli Piedmontsi!

Went here last minute without a booking, just a week before Christmas. We were glad we found it. I had bruschetta to start and my wife had Calamari with a sweet and sour sauce. Both delicious. My main course was fillet steak which was served simply, with potatoes and vegetables. I have to say this ranks up with the best steak I have ever had. My wife also had steak and she said the same. The wine was excellent too with the attentive staff pouring it for us whenever needed. The wine was dear at €39 but the steak very reasonable at €27.50. All in all, great place, great staff, great food, great experience.

One of the best meals we had in Ireland. The eggplant parm melted in your mouth, the calamari was fresh and very tasty! We all enjoyed our various pasta entrees, all a beautiful culinary experience. And the chocolate molten cake was the perfect way to end the dinner!

Myself and my family (4) showed up at 10:10 knowing they closed at 11 and they made sure to seat us and feed us. Without a doubt the best Italian food anyone of us has had in our entire life’s. The service was amazing and food was even better. Without a doubt coming back here in later years, 10/10 hands down.

Not sure if I accidentally offended the waiter but I did not enjoy my experience. He kept trying to talk to us in Italian and came off very pretentious and annoyed. Risotto tasted almost like ketchup. I don’t like to leave bad reviews but for the price I think other people would like to know how it’s like.

Okay, so no B.S. here. I can't say for certain, but I'd say it would be hard pressed to find a better Italian restaurant in Ireland. Granted, I don't know Ireland well. But, I know Italy very well. And, this place rates better than most places I have visited in Italy. Outstanding food, and great wine. Impeccable service. We let Eric pick out the meal and it was first class. Outstanding. Definitely recommend.

At the recommendation of the concierge at the Westin Hotel, I was able to stumble on this gem of a restaurant. The service was incredible, wide ranging wine selection and the food was off the charts. Staff was very accommodating, welcoming and made sure to check in regularly to ensure everything was perfect. The touGh part was narrowing down what to order as everything looked excellent! Highly recommend this off the beaten path gem. It’s a very small restaurant, reservations are recommended.

The food is just superb. An authentic Italian gastronomical experience. The wine selection is beyond words and staff very knowledgeable. The waiters are attentive and you are made feel welcome the minute you walk through the door and they care about your experience. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough.

Absolutely astonishing. From the food to the service, absolutely perfect. A must have if you're in Dublin, pasta carbonara as main food and parmegiana as a starter food is to cry for more. GO!

This is the only authentic Italian restaurant in Dublin. The servers were friendly and I was impressed with the pasta. I want to come here with my girlfriend next time.

Owner tried to fit as many tables as he can on a very small, low height space. It’s soo noisy that you can’t chat without screaming to each other. Guess if you’re in a group is fine but as a couple I don’t recommend this place. On the other hand, food and service were good.

I had the calamari for starter which was the best that I've ever had. Perfectly cooked and nicely presented. Main was a slow cooked beef ravioli which also was very nice but lacking in quantity. Desert was a well made and tasty Pannacotta. Asked for the house red and the extremely helpful waiter offered a light or a strong flavoured option. Staff were very helpful with the menu and service and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend and we will be back.

My favourite restaurant. Amazing portions and some of the most amazing Calamari. Food is top notch and an enjoyable experience from start to finish and dessert is highly recommended

What a real treasure this restaurant is! It is authentically small, atmospheric and the food is incredible! I've been many times, often on my own, where they always make me feel welcome, and feed me well. Love the wine, even by the glass!

Excellent food. Probably the best value meal I’ve had in Dublin and the staff are welcoming, friendly and great for advice on the house wines! I’ll certainly be returning.

Best meal myself and my husband have ever eaten, including those we had in Italy itself. The food was incredibly delicious - the best tiramisu going. The atmosphere felt so authentically Italian, it was like being transported back to our honeymoon! Thanks to the lovely staff for an amazing night. Can see ourselves becoming regulars 😉

Belíssimo!!! 👏👏 Food menu was delicious, the only thing that is missing as option, in my opinion, is Risotto. The pasta is home made and you can feel like you're in Italy cause the taste is gorgeous and also waiters speaks Italian most of the time. They have many wine options available and most of them are of very good quality. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Everything about this experience was 5 stars. From the amazing staff to the food and wine. I had the Alto Aldige Pasta and I can tell you I savoured every bite. We also had a bottle of the Ripasso and if you are stuck choosing a wine there is a sommelier on hand. The restaurant is about mid to high end in price but worth every penny. I couldn't recommend this restaurant more.

The staff was generous enough to allow me 45 min to eat without a reservation. I took their recommendation on the Pate’ and a house special buratta filled pasta.

Very small restaurant - make sure to book reservations in advance. The burrata was delicious! He other entrees were good, nothing to write home about. Service was not the most welcoming.

Love wine list, including nice barolo selection. Yet more attention for beef meat would be nice, it was too chewy for my taste..not good sign.. Tiramisu with more liquor would made it flawless.

I’m afraid to give away secrets of great restaurants…but this might be one of the best authentic Italian restaurants in the city. After spending nearly a month visiting many different parts of Italy, this place definitely felt like home in Italy. Many secret homemade recipes are used for the starters and main dishes, and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable to give you the best experience. Plan 3 hours for dinner and you will not be disappointed

This was some of the most amazing food I have had in years. We tried to grab a table earlier in the night but they were booked. The manager however told us come back in a bit and we promise to have a table for you. It was without question worth the wait. The wine selection was amazing, pasta perfectly made and seabass had a perfectly crisp skin while falling apart. I would come back to Dublin only to eat here.

Food was incredible. Service was friendly and informal but super professional. Ordered a wine to pair with our dinner, our waiter decided against it for us and offered us something he believed would pair better and he absolutely nailed it. One of Dublins absolute hidden gems.
