This is a really popular place and crowded during early hours, specially on weekend. There is a queue but staff is good at providing seating. Menu is really good, specially the Irish breakfast. Black/white pudding weren't my favourite but still good. Loved the mango passion smoothie and also coffee was good. French toast was okay. Would love to go back to try the cakes.

A hidden gem in Dublin City centre. They do amazing crepes which can also be shared between two people. Would recommend trying the lemon jelly special that comes with chicken salsa, mozzarella, cheddar. The cheesecake and the cold brew go really well together. Would highly recommend trying this cafe. This has turned out to be a favourite and will definitely come back to this place again and again.

We were looking for a great breakfast spot in Dublin and the Lemon Jelly Cafe appeared on several top 10 lists. There was quite a long wait to get inside as they do not take reservations. On a cold damp day, having to stand in a queue outside was less than ideal. Once we got inside and ordered, it was great. Vegetarian options were nice though limited. Their Bailey's cheese cake was amazing, though. I would go back just for that!

I am just finishing up a lovely breakfast here. I unfortunately have some strict diet restrictions and the staff was very understanding and made sure I ate well even though what I had was just parts of a few different things on their menu. I sincerely appreciate how easily I was accommodated and that I was treated with simple kindness in addition to being served delicious food.

On a recent visit to Lemon Jelly Cafe, we were treated to an undeniably delicious breakfast experience. The cafe's English Breakfast and crepes were simply delightful, expertly prepared, and served in a way that has forever defined how perfect a morning meal should be. I am compelled to mention their banana shake, an absolute explosion of fresh, creamy banana goodness, and one of the best I've ever had. Notably, their almond croissant stood out - it was divine, boasting a perfect balance of fluffiness and crunch, with a generous layer of almonds with a pinch of cinnamon adding an irresistible touch. While the quality of food and service are beyond compare, be prepared for the possibility of a wait. The cafe's demand often results in a queue, particularly during peak hours. Despite this, I assure you that the wait is very much worth it!!!

Had a lovely brunch here! Staff were very nice and the food was to die for. I had the strawberry dream pictured below and also had a mango passion, I think it was called, smoothie. It tasted very fresh. Overall great place for a bite to eat if you’re around Jarvis Shopping centre area of Dublin.

The Restaurant is a few meters from the river on D1. It is a restaurant with typical Irish food, although they also offer other dishes. The experience was very good, the attention cordial, the food delicious and the fruit smoothies incredible. It is definitely a place that you can not miss if you are in Dublin.

This is an amazing breakfast and coffee place in downtown Dublin, just off the Main Street. It gets quite busy, so you might have to queue for a table. The food is great, with a lot of choices, from bagels, pancakes and a full Irish! Great service and very fast from ordering to the food appearing. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely breakfast, wonderful friendly staff. So much to choose from and the Irish Coffees pack a punch. Very busy, and you may have to queue, but that seems a good sign. Portion sizes decent. Only disappointment was no Boxty or potato cakes on the menu to go with breakfast.

A nice place where you can enjoy drinking or eating with friends. We tasted the cheesecake that was not as we expected. However, the monkey business was so delicious. Besides, the coffees that we drank were spectacular as well, above all the pictures on the top. I would recommend this cafe.

Service was very friendly and food arrived quickly. The bagels were a bit on the dry side but it was good nonetheless. The full Irish was okay but comparing to other options near the Temple Bar area, it could use some better ingredients. The atmosphere is cool and the great service makes up for the rest.

This place was great. The staff is super friendly. One waiter(manager?) actually went and printed a map and marked it with day hiking trips for Me. The guy who seats everyone(Latino?) in am, remembers you and greats you like a long time customer. He is always checking to make sure your taken care off. The food is plentiful, cheap and the menu is large. It’s on a big walkway so great people watching at outdoor tables or window seats. Great homey place.

Superb atmosphere and lovely breakfast and lunch options. We got the sweet and savory options with crepes and Irish breakfast, both of which were very good. Also they have great smoothies with unique combinations of flavors. Definitely must try brunch place in the city center.

Lovely breakfast. Good choice of omelettes, crepes and light breakfasts. Would recommend. Came here on Sunday morning, and whilst city was practically sleeping, I had to queue to enter Lemon Jelly Cafe for about 20 mins. But staff were great and handed out menu whilst I was waiting so that I could think of what I’m ordering in advance.

This is the cutest spot! We ate here two days in a row! I love the adorable cozy/clean aesthetic. They are very efficient, great service (I love the personalities of the servers) and wow the FOOD! The extensive menu has something for everyone in your group regardless of hunger level, dietary restrictions and preference. I LOVED GJE TEA! Loose leaf tea in an adorable pot? Could anything be better? They have coffee, juice, and tea galore. They have overnight oats, pancakes, omelets, crepes- sweet and savory. Very stylish menu and nice seating. We came at 10am and there was a long line however it went fast. Certainly worth the wait! The next day we came earlier and there was no wait time. The food was delish and tasted so fresh and tasty! I would certainly recommend visiting this establishment during your time in Amsterdam.

Great little place to sit from a nice breakfast or lunch. Service is quick once your seated. Theres always a que when I come to eat here! This time I had the nutella and strawberry pancakes. They were tasty only thing I found strange was the stawberries were wrapped up in the pancakes which made them a bit soggy I would have liked to eat them fresh but I still enjoyed it and ate it all! Reasonably priced too

Perfect place to stop for a coffee and a treat. We hadn't been there before and took a chance having a break on a day out with our grandchildren. Turned out to be a great idea. While we sat inside there are plenty of tables outside too.The food was fantastic - pancakes and hot chocolate! We had lovely coffee too. The staff are so friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We would definitely recommend especially with children. Looking forward to going there again soon.

Went here as the first official food shop in Dublin. The loose leaf tea was great and the full Irish breakfest had more food then I could eat. A few of the items I wasn't a fan of but overall a good experience.

sorry to do this review. but despite having a good service at the table with good attention and kindness.I must say that the food is the worst I have eaten in Ireland. I ordered an Irish breakfast and what a huge mistake. I'll just say it was really gross.

Great service! Clean and very organised restaurant. Customers wait at the entrance to be seated by staff. My friend and I ordered 2 mocha's, one white, one dark. We also ordered the Chocaholic Nutella Pancake/Crêpe and Strawberry Shortcake. We loved it! I'd definitely come here again and try other crêpe flavours :)

Cute spot that’s super popular with the locals and tourists. A place that’s hassle free and where you can just order your food and drinks while not being dissatisfied. Everything was delicious and came out quickly. All for a very reasonable price and a great indoor vibe. Highly recommend!

Great cafe will come back for some lunch and dinner too.. Saturday late evening we had a craving for cake. I chose their fresh strawberry cream cake and it melted in my mouth. Got a frothy latte with a biscuit. And also whipped cream for cake. A bit pricey but as expected in Dublin City. Staff were incredibly nice for a Saturday late evening and crowded cafe/restaurant I finally found the best cake place :’)

  • 3/5 Andrea A. 4 months ago on Google
We got an Irish breakfast, crepe with strawberries, mocha and green tea. I was quite disappointed than there was no ice scream on any available crepes. Service was fast. It is good place to stop by if around.

  • 5/5 Laura Acebes G. 7 months ago on Google
I was attracted to this cafe for its look and also because the first time I passed by it was packed. I came back the next day and had a chicken and cheddar omelette made to perfection, with a couple toast and butter so that was my lunch. They have an extensive menu and everything I saw around me looked just yummy, but I was too full to have dessert. The staff was friendly and I also liked that they have an open kitchen and you can see while they cook. All in all I think they offer good value for money and the place is pleasant to be in.

This morning, I visited Lemon Jelly for breakfast with my friend, and our experience was a mix of delight and unexpected surprises. I opted for the Full Irish Breakfast, while my friend chose the Vegetarian Irish Breakfast. The ambiance was welcoming, and the service was prompt. The Full Irish Breakfast was a hearty plate with all the traditional elements – eggs, sausage, bacon, black and white pudding, tomatoes, and toast. The flavors were robust, and the presentation was appealing. However, the absence of Kerrygold butter was an unexpected letdown. Given the reputation of this establishment, I had anticipated this Irish staple to accompany the meal. My friend’s Vegetarian Irish Breakfast was a pleasant surprise. The inventive use of plant-based alternatives showcased the chef's creativity. The dish had a medley of grilled tomatoes, mushrooms, vegetarian sausage, and eggs, offering a satisfying and flavorful option for non-meat eaters. Despite the minor setback with the butter selection, Lemon Jelly's breakfast menu proves to be a diverse and tasty offering, catering to both traditional and vegetarian preferences. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was conducive to a leisurely morning catch-up. I would recommend Lemon Jelly for those seeking a well-prepared breakfast with a twist, but perhaps with a gentle reminder to the management about the allure of Kerrygold butter for those craving an authentic Irish touch.

We went on the bank holiday weekend. We waited about 30 minutes for our food and about 25 minutes to be seated. It was a long wait but the food was lovely. The French toast was amazing, The vege breakfast and good and so was the avocado on bread ( you only get one slice though) . If you are really hungry I would say none of it would really fill you up but we were fine as we got 3 things to share between 2 won't fill you up. Everything was lovely but the long wait was really off putting. Service was great aswell

It was a lovely place to eat. There are so many choices that look tasty that it was very hard to choose! From a full Irish breakfast to crêpes, omelettes, bagels, toasts, french toasts, smoothies, fruit juice, coffees with various milk options and teas, it was wonderful. We appreciated the vegetarian version of the Irish breakfast for those who prefer. We had a bit of everything and everyone loved their food. Special note for the turmeric coconut latte, which I liked very much. The strawberry hot chocolate is the only thing we cared less for due to a more industrial strawberry sirup taste. Other dishes we tried : matcha latte, fruit juice, french toast, cream cheese bagel, camomille tea, full Irish breakfast, vegetarian full Irish breakfast. The personnel was nice, the food arrived quickly ans was quite generous in size, the space was nice. We'd love to come back there to try all the other tasty looking dishes.

My wife and I are celebrating our honeymoon and I haven’t posted any reviews of anywhere else on the trip yet, but this place is special! Amazing pastries, Irish Breakfast, fresh juices and coffee, what else could I ask for?! What made the experience that much better (and made me review this place right now) is the team work from the entire staff. The team work is simply incredible and probably the most overlooked part of any business my wife and I have visited during our honeymoon so far & this is our last stop before heading back to Florida!

Went here a few weeks ago with 2 friends to get breakfast, we where sat outside which was nice, there was 3 of us for breakfast. The other 2 got their breakfast and I was left waiting, one of the friends had a hair in her food across her egg, this was addressed to the waiter and she didn’t even apologise she just took the plate and left, I still hadn’t received my food at this point. Roughly 5 minutes later the waiter came back my other friend was half way through her food and both of our breakfasts came, it looked like the hair was just taken off, We were not impressed at all, food was also freezing cold.

  • 4/5 Claudine W. 4 years ago on Google
Standard and very average breakfast. Very busy when we visited. Good atmosphere and menu. Wished I’d have tried something different than from the Irish breakfast. Toast underdone, ingredients were average. Service good though. Nice place.

The breakfast menu is excellent - lots of choices. We shared the french toast with bacon and one of the savoury pancakes (chicken, cheese and spinach). Everything tasted great, would definitely recommend a visit.

  • 3/5 angevin 3 years ago on Google
The service was good but the food and coffee always seemed a bit off. Also, there was a perpetually greasy smell in the indoor seating area, which would be all over your hair when you went out. If you work in the area and want to grab a quick bite it's probably fit for purpose, but I wouldn't make a massive detour here otherwise. Oddly enough it seems to be popular with tourists, every time I went there were tons of them.. there are better brunches in Dublin.

Absolutely love coming in here for a quick breakfast - well, sweet or savory crepes. The food has always been perfect, from great coffees and juices to my personal favorite Nutella and banana crepes. They are especially nice when the chef adds extra Nutella! (Hint hint 😀) What I like most about here though are the staff. They are super friendly, always trying to my young child. There is one gentleman in particular who always seems to take our payments and he is very nice, always talking with my child. It’s wonderful to see staff speaking with children, rather than ignoring them or hoping they go away. There is seating inside and out which gives more options, especially during COVID-19. The staff are well equipped and handling the pandemic well. I will continue to come here each time I am in the city center.
