Good slice in Dublin! Sauce was a bit on the sweet side but that’s a matter of preference. Nice crispy crust and fast service! The cashier yelled at me for taking a pic of the pizza….there are no signs saying no photography- so that was a bit unwelcome and surprising. If you’re in the area- stop by!

Good late night slice. Not authentic, especially not NY style, but good! Taste very comfort, like a very good defrosted pizza, somehow, not in a bad way. Quite expensive tho, more than 6 EUR for a slice of cheese pizza.

Ok! So we are Americans living in Ireland & have been looking for NY style pizza! So when we found out about DiFontaines we knew had to try it! My lil 🐣 ( food blogger) rated her pepperoni pizza a 10/10!!! And we rated our cheese an 8/ 10! We are very picky pizza eaters so this is a VERY GOOD REVIEW! We would actually recommend to our friend Dave @ barstool sports to try it! Sauce was amazing/ very hot : huge slice / great location ! It’s a win win win when eating here! Kid tested and mama approved! Can’t wait to be back! Mangia! 🍕❤️

After a long travel this was a nice surprise. Nothing fancy, but a lot of young people and a nice pizza. Thin and crispy if you like.

Extremely disappointed with a member of your staff last night! Myself and my sister went there last night after a gig as we have done on many occasions. We normally love the pizza and staff there but one employee was highly rude. when I asked for a condiment he brushed me off and I was spoken to disrespectfully. Extremely disappointed and will be recommending Bambino’s to everyone we know from now on.f

This is a go to place to order pizza especially on corporate lunch gatherings in the office. The slices are huge and delicious. 2-3 slices should be sufficient for moderate eaters. The pepperoni and margherita pizzas are awesome as well. This was the first time I went there for a takeout, usually we get the pizzas delivered to the office. We were tempted to try a slice there and it was amazing. A bit crunchy as they heated up the slice for us in the over. In store they also have additional toppings like chilli flakes, oregano and chilli oil.

These slices are huge and not only that they are delicious. The sauce taste a little bit creamy because of the sauce and cheese. And the base is not soft it's a little bit crunchy. Definitely coming back.

Delicious NY-style pizza slices at a great price for Dublin. Major nostalgia as it takes me back to the Big Apple. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

My FAV pizza place in Dublin. The vibe and staff- too good. They have 3 veg options as well and “Limelight” is a must-try 🍕🤤 They’re usually open till late night so that’s a plus. Go grab your slice!

As a New Yorker… this is not NY Pizza. They nailed the thickness of the pizza but Cheese, Sauce, and Crust are very different. That being said, it’s probably one of the better pizzas you’ll find in Dublin. I’ve seen a few other places and this was significantly better. Customer service was friendly.

The pizza is New York style and taste delicious. They have some seating inside and outside but is very informal. Good choice to go there in sunny days for a slice of pizza

Very good NY slice. Recommend their DiFontaine classic slice. Pricing is weird that buying 6 individual slices (equivalent to a whole pie) is the same price as buying a whole pie.

€4.50 for a huge (size of 2 palms!), warm slice of pizza. No seating. It was the most comforting thing to eat after getting soaked in the rain.

Probably the best NY’s pizza in Dublin. You can order a one slice or a whole pizza. Various tastes of pizza from mushroom with ham to vegetarian ones. The price for a slice is so high, but it is typically for Dublin. I recommend this place.

My all time favourite slice in Dublin, been coming here for many many years and it still always hits the spot for me

  • 4/5 Jermaine B. 10 months ago on Google • 114 reviews
Great pizza, my only reservation would be the price point. I do think you’re paying for the area rather than the pizza. The price of the slice does not reflect the quality of the pizza.

True to the ‘New York Style’ pizza, these slices were big and flavourful. Crispy dough but still thick enough to add texture to the pizza. Sauce was flavourful and cheesy wasn’t greasy! Only thing I’ll say is that the pepperoni could be spicer and this let it down slightly but an overall great pizza. €6.50 a slice which is average for around this side of Dublin and fair because these slices are HUGE!

Huge New York style 'slices' here and they come within a few minutes of ordering. There is a variety of slices to choose from. I would definitely recommend eating here. Each slice is €6.50, two slices is enough.

I had high expectations going here expecting a high quality pizza slice referencing that of New York pizza. What I received was a good but not fantastic slice. Unfortunately I have not been to New York to compare but from my own experience of eating pizza (including making my own), this felt average, maybe above average at best. The atmosphere was fine but I am not particularly happy with the lack of a proper door making eating during wintertime particularly cold. I will try to give this place another chance at some point but until then, there are other places I would recommend.

Fantastic pizza! We take pizza seriously, and unfortunately most European pizza is ho hum. Not this place, great, thin crust, chewy dough, delicious pizza. Perfect after a pint or two. We were really surprised! Happily so! To be honest it was better than a lot of NY pizzerias. Never imagined we'd find fab pizza in Dublin, Ireland! But we did!

The vegan pizza is incredible, the best I've ever had, and from everyone else I know, the normal slices are just as great. The price is a little but steep at face value, but then you see the size of it, only one slice is a massive portion. The place itself inside is not exactly the best, but its not really meant to be the sit down and dine place, more like a stall with a few chairs. Overall, the pizza itself is a 10/10 for taste.

I visited recently, and I must say, their pizza is always delicious! It's easily one of the best slices in all of Ireland. They also participate in the Pay It Forward idea, which allows you to buy a slice for yourself and another for someone in need. They work with local organizations to help the homeless and needy in Dublin. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is fun. So if you're craving a massive, authentic New York-style slice, while in Dublin, DiFontaine's is the place to go!

This was my third stop on my vegan waking tour of Dublin City, I opted for difontaines pizzeria at 22 Parliament St, Temple Bar, Dublin, D02 NF24 for a slice of the famous vegan pizza and it did not disappoint 😋 the base was like like new york thin style pizza and the cheese was really nice. The slice was quite big so good value for money 6 euros.

One of the best slices I've EVER had. Crispy bottom (but not burnt!), stringy but flavourful cheese, plenty of topping choices as well. Proper NY style pizza at its best ♥

Best slice of pizza I've ever had 😍 10/10.

Amazing pizza, A&W root beer. Exactly New York styled and taste. Great for a bite on the run. A bit pricey at €4+ a slice but that’s the norm for Dublin.

I love DiFontaine’s, it’s a Dublin institution at this point, used to go there a lot when I was in college and have re-discovered (gone three times in the past week) it recently. Premises are always clean, staff are sound,l. Part of my re-discovery is the simple margarita, such an excellent slice when it’s done right, like it is in DiFontaine’s.

Pizza is good although one slice, the cheese was off, and was €10 for 2 slices, which is a joke.

Very good pepperoni pizza slice. Slightly spicy, good cheese to sauce ratio and thin base. 6.50 for one slice with toppings. About 8/10 seats in the shop alongside seats outside

Veggie and one vegan pizza options available by slice Tasty and filling the vegan cheese is very good. Good place for a quick bite.

If craving for a slice of pizza, this is the place, the toppings and sauce is not mind blowing but the crust is very good. All for €5 for a reasonably large slice. I believe I found the closest Dublin equivalent to the iconic Fast Al's in Cork.

As Founder for a leading online Travel media company in Canada ..I do my fair share of traveling. Last week on a quick 2 night, 1 day stay in Dublin, I was in need of a good slice. I make my own at home with 00 flour and white flour (50/50) so I am pretty picky. This spot was within walking distance of my Hotel and did not disappoint. Crust was excellent, topping's were perfect and not too much. Cooked to perfection, not too crunchy and still a bit of flop in the slice. Highly recommend. Well worth the visit.
