Located in the Temple bar area, this is one of the good authentic Nepalese restaurants in Dublin. Have dined here for lunch twice and have both times found the food tasty and flavourful with generous portion sizes. Variety of options on the Menu. Friendly service and usually quick preparation time. Lot of seating options in ground and lower ground floor. Price could slightly be on a higher side but that's understandable because of their location.

We just had an AMAZING dinner at Montys. Great service, great quality of freshly cooked food (served on a hot cooking plate) and a so little price to pay compared to the quantity of food we ate and for how good it was. Very much recommended!

A lovely restaurant with good Nepali/Indian food. The food ordered as a whole was good - the momos were excellent. Boasts of a good bar selection as well. A little on the expensive side

My friends and I really enjoyed our meal at Montys. We ordered three dishes to share and they were all delicious, especially the lamb dish and the naan. The portions are a little small if you consider the price you are paying.

The corn Momos in spicy chili sauce were some of the best I have ever had. This dish alone makes a visit worth it. Regular spice is pretty mild on dishes so if you like it hotter let them know. Lots of vegan options.....and you will not be disappointed. I will make this a regular stop when in Dublin.

Amazing South Asian food! Was looking for an authentic south asian restaurant for long now feels like I have found one. Delicious cuisines. Ambiance is nice. Service is great but there is a delay. Enjoyed every bit of the food I had. Will go back for sure.

Food is delicious. It's a joy to eat there as a coeliac. They are really aware of cross contamination and bring different poppadoms for me to enjoy.

Wonderful food, unavoidable feeling of authenticity. Will go back (when I´m back to Dublin) to taste the actual goat meat. Had the Sashlick Lamb. Delicious and highly recommended

My takeout experience from this restaurant was disheartening. Despite the glowing reviews, the vegetarian momos were not only overpriced but also a significant letdown in terms of taste and portion size. Spending close to $40 for 8 pieces felt like a waste, and I had to enlist friends to help finish the meal. A regrettable experience that didn't live up to the hype or the high cost. One star, sadly.

I highly recommend this Nepalese restaurant for a couple of reasons: - The staff gave us a very nice experience with some recommendations and guidance - Their Mingling Dhal Bhat was beautiful and really filling (the lamb was divine) - The atmosphere of the restaurant is cosy I will definitely come back!

We visited twice on our trip to Dublin; I could eat here every single day. The wine list is extensive with options for everyone and the food is delightful. My favorite item was their chili momo. They ask about allergies before you order. You absolutely must visit this restaurant!

Montys Of Kathmandu , it is really a very nice place to have momos . We ordered chilli momo which was super tasty , they customised to spicy 😋 for us, also goat curry was super tasty , nice with soft and tender pieces 😋.. , garlic naan, zinga macha , tandoori chicken these items are also very nice .. just tell them to prepare spicy if you have spicy tastebuds... We loved and enjoyed our dinner yesterday... Service is top notch ,nice and attentive staff... This place has it's own vibe , I love the atmosphere ❤️, super tasty food and nice service. Thank you so much❤️⁩🙏 .

Absolutely outstanding food. We each had a lamb dish and so glad we did. The lamb just fell apart. So tender. I’ve cooked lamb in a slow cooker for 10 hours and it hasn’t been this tender. My sag rice was absolutely divine. But, not sure why the sag rice was €7 instead of €3 like pilau rice? Certainly a few spinach leaves don’t cost €4? No meat in it, just spinach? But I honestly don’t care. It was so nice it was all worth the money. Service was great, as were the waiting staff. I will definitely return.

Standard South Asian restaurant including decor if you compare it to curry houses in London. The thali (dhal bhat) course was about 27 euros not including a dessert. It was average food. Service was friendly but slow - they seemed understaffed.

We had a great evening here for my sisters 50th Birthday. I had never enjoyed Nepalese food before. I will be back!

One of the best meals I've ever had. They use real spices that I have not been able to experience in Dublin before. Absolutely lovely people too.

Definitely need to give their chicken chili momos a try! I've never had one but this surely convince me to have EVEN MORE. It's not too spicy, just enough for most people to enjoy. I do prefer it to be on the spicier side but it was a great appetizer. Yes, this is an appetizer. Huge portion!!

What an amazing find! Went there after looking at reviews of actually good places to eat in the Temple Bar area and was not disappointed at all! As many say, definitely start with the Momo's. I've never even heard of these before but they were DELICIOUS. Definitely going back to try the chilli ones next. We also ordered the Tareko Jhinga (felt like an onion bhaji almost) which were also very good but held nothing really next to the momo's. There wine list is impressive and my Australian boyfriend was delighted to order a beautiful Western Australia red for dinner. Then we split lamb tikka masala, a spicy chicken ledo bedo and my personal favourite... the classic Goat Curry. All three were amazing, the spicy ledo bedo was the perfect amount of heat for us but the goat curry is classic. We even had a regular and cheese naan which were perfect. All three curries came with boiled rice and it was the perfect amount of food for 3 very hungry guests. As we were all eating we kept saying how we can't wait to come back to try even more of the menu. If you're looking for good, authentic Indian food after a day of hosting tourists this is the spot! Staff is incredibly sweet and helped us navigate the menu and wine list. The only reason I'm not giving it a full 5 out of 5 stars is that it's pricey... but it's worth it, especially in this part of town. Definitely returning soon.

A Delish. The food is just devine. Super service, fantastic wine list, probably top 3 in the country. The boss knows to direct you through the huge choice of wine, just amazing. We visited the wine room too, a great place.

Had a wonderful meal here last night, the staff were so nice and friendly. The food was wonderful and could not recommend highly enough, the homemade breads deserve a special mention. Can't wait to go back

Loved this place. Food is excellent. With a group of 6. Everyone loved the food. Great selection to cover all tastes and can be as spicy as you like. Some very unusual dishes. Staff are terrific, and very friendly. Best wine selection I have come at in many years. What a wine cellar. Will absolutely be back
