Food was delicious but felt that the portion sizes were small for the price. Everything on the table (in pictures) ended up costing us €93... Staff were warm but were extremely busy. Also felt the tables were rather close, it was hard to hear my boyfriend over the noise of the nearest tables. Overall, I enjoyed it, but not sure if I'll be rushing back. Definitely going to look for a restaurant with a similar vibe but more fairly priced dishes.

Pros: Nice and friendly staff + the side fried potatoes was delicious + The rice was good Cons: The Beef Shawarma tasted different than the other Shawarma I had tried; also it had a piece of fat which ruined the taste even more + The homemade lemonade was okay but 2 ice were not enough as it wasn't cold + Davoud Basha was okay but didn't have pomegranate as it was mentioned in the menu + The Homemade Aylan Dough was the same as factory made ones

Very delicious meal at The Cedar Tree. We ordered the lamb arayes to start, then the chicken mansaf for me and the sea bass for my companion. Everything was very tasty, and I particularly enjoyed the mansaf. The flavours were excellent and the meat was grilled perfectly. Looking forward to returning here. The only downside is it is expensive, but I had assumed it would be due to the city centre location. It is no more expensive than any other restaurant in this area.

I visited this place yesterday, it was a recommendation by a friend. For starters, we ordered Baba ganosh and spiced potatoes. Both were good and were fulfilling. For mains, we had a couple of things, including kabsa, mansaf, meatballs, lamb skewers and Lebanese rice. The food was good but not so good from the price point of view. It is approximately around 40 euro per person if you order drinks with it. Other than thay, the service was good and so was the ambiance.

Lebanese restaurant, they serve typical food, very tasty. Everything very clean, excellent staff .It has a great decoration in a very beautiful building too. It's a great space to spend some time and chat with friends with a view of a very busy street full of great pubs and restaurants.

Tasty Lebanese cuisine and pocket friendly in Dublin. The staff are kind and happy to help if needed. The turn around time for food was really qucik. To top it up, we were surprised with a performance - a belly dancer. Good Lebanese music to set ambience. Highly recommended.

Small restaurant offering a variety of Lebanese dishes, including a variety of mezze - both vegetarian and meaty. Restaurant is lovely decorated, very cosy and I saw on their website that they have belly dance shows. It has been super busy, which I think speaks for popularity though it of course comes with some noise. Food was delicious, very tasty - we had the Fetteh Hummus which is chickpeas with joghurt, crispy Lebanese bread and walnuts; a combination I would never have thought of but works extremely well. As main we have been ordering different grilled chicken dishes, salad, potatoes, grilled garlic & chili bread as well as Lebanese rice. The rice came with minced Lamb, Walnuts, Chickpeas and parsley - never had this before and I am surely going to order it again. Baklava was nice, but tasted very different to Turkish one, so really depends on what you personally prefer. Our friend was breaking her fast in the restaurant, and though we only had a table at 20.00 they brought all the food for 20.15, which was amazing as my friend was starving. Had a lovely evening, staff is very friendly, though there are two things that don't allow me to give 5 stars - a.) They were running out of Ayran and various teas and b) (soft) drinks came only after we had already started our main course. I am just used to get my drinks prior eating. Minor points, hence I will come back, eat there again and potentially upgrade to 5 stars 😆

Fantastic Lebanese restaurant. We found this by chance walking by and decided to give it a try. We found all the food to be very good and the service was also great with the staff able to answer any questions we had about the menu. Thoroughly enjoyed it and found it to be good value for money as the portion sizes were very good.

Alice was an amazing, knowledgeable, warm, passionate and pleasant server - great sense of humor too! The food was well-presented and delicious; the atmosphere was fun and invigorating, and the entire staff was welcoming and professional! Great Lebanese wine selections, too! The falafel was the best I ever had! Highly recommend!

Happened to come across this gem of a restaurant on our recent trip to Dublin. Delicious and has reasonably priced lunch choices. Would definitely recommend for those looking for vegetarian options!

It was alright but not for my taste.. The service was very fast but I found it difficult to eat because the warm boiled potato was too difficult to digest without a vegetable in the chicken shawarma I found some traces of tiny pickles that were softening from the potatoes. I found the garlic sauce heavy, but overall it was ok, just not my taste.

Eaten twice recently and quite happy with everything except the cost. Food is quite good (especially the lamb shawarma) but I'm finding prices in city centre have really gone up considerably for the item/portion size provided. Good seating well lit but unfortunately NOT disabled friendly at all despite good street access. Indeed, toilets are up almost 2 flights of stairs so difficult even for the elderly & visually disabled. Recommended for the hale & hearty.

The ideal local atmosphere for close-to-close eatings. The service is moderately good and the prices are in a low-mid range comparing Dublin and other major European capital cities centre food. The wine selection is acceptable and very local; it's super good to see of getting free water.

Amazing family run restaurant with LEGIT hummus and homemade pitas. The portions are really generous and served neatly. The staff are so nice and friendly. Makes you want to come here and write a review. REALLY RECOMMENDED

Service was lovely, food was delish however, I would like to point out that the food for two that we had was slightly not enough and we kind of expected more since the price is not quite cheap. I would have gotten the portions for me alone and I still would have managed to eat it up. Apart from that, I have nothing else to say. It was a nice evening with nice food and good people.

A lovely small Lebanese restaurant in the town centre of Dublin. The food tastes amazing and is well portioned and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. The decor of the venue has a traditional Middle Eastern feel and there a tasty vegetarian and meat options. Would definitely return and would recommend

Great food. The desert may not be of your taste but the chicken shawarma was great. It’s a nice place to go with family.

A lovely family restaurant, with great stylish interior and, what is most important, great food. Delicious Lebanese treasures on your plates.

I wanted to try how this res6prepares east Mediterranean cuisine so i made an order on deliveroo -Lamb Arayes in the transparent container for 8€ are ok, not what i expected but not too bad. A bit thin and small portion. The lamb mix is not what we are used to have in Levant region. -The Tabouleh in the white cup for 7€ has properly cleaned and chopped parsley and appropriate amount of lemon and other ingredients. However it has a strange oil after taste. Probably need to change your olive oil. And the portion is minimum. -Cheese fatayer for 7€ is like a random bread filled with mozarella. No unique taste at all. You can do the same at home for 2€ -Do i feel full? Not even close, even though my weight is 65kg. This meal for 22€ works best as a moderate treat every now and then.

Stopped by here for lunch and were not disappointed. Beautiful fresh food lovely friendly service and lots of food for a lunchtime visit. It was freshly cooked and really had super flavours. We had the schwarma and a chicken in tomato main along with 2 different types of starters. All were beautiful. Thank you all!

Lebanese restaurant located in the heart of Dublin. Food was delicious, true flavours. We had a platter for 2 that included all the main starters and a main dish (rice with eggplant and chickpeas). For dessert halva and mint tea. There is no outdoor seating and proof of vaccination is required to eat in. Service was good, bathroom clean. We paid eu 90 including tip and a large bottle of sparkling water.
