Popped in for a bite to get out of the rain. I had the butternut soup. Stephen ordered hot wings and onion rings. They had good live music. It was crowded and noisy but fun. I would go here again.

Stopped in for a bite before going to Riverdance show. Amazing. Wonderful environment. Surely later on could be crowded. Was not crowded for us on a Wednesday around 5pm. Food was just amazing. Wife got the Braised beef main plater and I got the 10ozbStriploin steak with peppercorn with onion rings. The flavor of the peppercorn sauce brought a tear to my eye. So good. Appreciate this experience.

Great bar with loads of staff super to watch any sort of sports. Nice food but the Chicken and Bacon Ceasar Salad comes without Bacon and when I asked about it I was told that cost extra. When it's says it in the name and doesn't mention about anything extra.

The cider and Guinness were great even the nachos! The table service was excellent and the guy who served us was extremely nice and welcoming. I would come back.

Utterly Disappointing Experience. As Ireland reopens from the lockdown, I booked a table for 2, approximately 10 days before any bars and restaurants were allowed to open. I paid 25€ to book a little table for 2 for dining (it will be refunded either from a direct deduction on the bill or refund via PayPal). When we arrived at the restaurant, we were asked to sit at the bar, but we refused because we booked way ahead of time to have a table as we planned to have dinner there, so eventually we were given a table (the place was still rather empty). So that was a bit of an episode to start with. We then ordered dinner, I ordered a medium rare steak, but it came well done. Fine, it's a bar, not a steak house, so I tried to enjoy it. That said, the waiting service was pretty good, quite attentive throughout. In the end we asked for our bill, and paid 100€ for 2 (we have a few beers each and a main dish), but on the bill we didn't get the refund back on the spot, asked for it, but the restaurant opted for PayPal, I was alright with it as I trust the restaurant to refund it back soon. As soon as I've paid the 100€ bill, literally in a few seconds later as we were putting on our jackets, getting ready to head home, one of the staff came to us and said "you have been staying at this table for a long time and we need the table back so would be great if you can vacate it asap".... For me this is a hard NO-GO. You don't chase your paying customers out immediately after they just paid (or in general, don't chase them out!). It is not like we only had a beer and stayed for hours, we spent quite a bit for a table of 2! We thought we had a good time in there, up until the last second, and we left the place with a bitter taste and it really didn't feel good at all. Unfortunately, we don't think we will ever return. It's a shame as we live nearby in the neighborhood. Very disappointed. Especially this was the first time we were back in a bar/restaurant after a long lockdown.

Stumbled upon the bar and glad that we did. We had the rib roast and baked ham. With all the delicious sides we had a full lunch. Great service as well and the prices are very reasonable.

Wanted somewhere to watch the Joshua fight last Saturday night so we arranged to meet some friends in Sinnotts. We got there at 9ish so the place was full and there was a great buzz about it. The fight was on the screen and all of the 30 other TV's around the bar. Even though the place was packed it never felt uncomfortable or crammed. The service was fast and staff were very polite. Drinks were reasonably priced for the venue and location and as you would expect the toilets were clean and well looked after. Overall we had a great night and I would highly recommend you drop in for at least a pint or two.

Best place to watch EPL in Dublin. I hope this helps someone in my position, I looked for a long time to find a place with all the games, and glad I found this place!

Nice bar for a pint with friends, good atmosphere nothing fancy just a good old fashion pub. For me going on a Thursdays night, it was relatively quiet was lots of available seating. No loud music!

We had hada good time at the beginning but got interrupted so often by one young waiter who was listening all the time to our privat conversation and then talked to us about it! Super spooky if some one listening behind your shoulders and constantly interrupt the conversation with your girlfriend and you know he listen to your privat stuff! It was a very strange experience I would not like to have to go through again!

Had a really good time and the food was great. Really big portions so if you're a light eater consider ordering a starter. A bit pricy.

Very nice and kinda old customer fancy pub.

  • 3/5 Eamonn M. 2 years ago on Google
The table was just a bit too tall for where we were sitting making the experience uncomfortable. I guess it's a standing pub, which is not possible currently. The lack of 'buzz' around the bar also contributed to a diminished experience. I was lucky I was in great company. Maybe, when pubs open properly, it'll be better.

Staff were very nice and the atmosphere was good, but I'd be inclined only to come back for a pint rather than food. Very expensive for quite small portions, I don't recommend the nachos. Good experience overall however.

Loved the ambience and the service. The chicken wings were top notch. I could make this place my regular place if only it was closer. Hint: great spot for gentlemen while their ladies go shopping in Powerscourt shops.

Just stumbled across this place. Lovely big bar. Showing the football on big screen. The food was really tasty definitely a step above pub grub the chef must have a love of food as it shows. Staff very attentive & friendly.

Awesome venue to watch a big match. There’s a massive movie screen that shows it as well as multiple large screen tv’s. They serve food but depending on how big the event is they may skinny down the menu. We were here for a USA vs England World Cup match. It was absolutely packed….so table service was cut off & you had to order at the bar & then they only served easy drinks, which is understandable considering how many people were there.

Visited two times and the food was wonderfully prepared each time. The seafood chowder was exceptional. Loaded with tender seafood pieces. The Fish and chips was possibly the best I've ever tasted. I also had a Chicken Leek Pie which was topped with a delicate puffed pastry. Loved the Old Fashioned made with Jameson's whiskey. Best pub we visited in Dublin!

Nice pub with a wonderful atmosphere, delicious food, and great pints. Had such a wonderful lunch there our first day in Dublin, that we came back the same day for dinner!

  • 5/5 Andrew C. 11 months ago on Google
I came here on a quiet Monday to watch the football and have some dinner. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. There's no shortage of screens and I doubt there's any table without a great view of at least one screen I had the fish and chips and the food was good. Overall a great place to grab some food, a beer and watch sport.

Popped in as was raining and wow glad we did. Food was amazing, cocktails flowing and 2 for 15 amazing deal. Staff really polite and attentive. We stayed for hours and watched the rugby and cricket. Defo worth a trip if your in Dublin!!

We just stopped for a Pint of Guinness and to stay dry when it started to drizzle. It was a very pleasant surprise. The atmosphere was perfect. The music playing was lovely and not too loud. The lunch looked amazing with pork loin and roast beef. I wish we hadn't just had brunch at our hotel. Check it out! We will be going back!

We discovered the delights of this lovely place at the tail end of a lunchtime rush. It was obvious that the Carvery was very popular and that a lot of the customers were regulars. The staff seemed to work perfectly as a team and we enjoyed the Craic that develops when everyone seems happy staff and customers. We will return to this excellent venue the next time we visit Dublin.

Nice modern sports bar take on the pub. Food and drinks were excellent, the crowd friendly and lively, and the staff helpful. Would highly recommend their braised beef dish if looking for dinner in the area. The beef was so tender it could be broken apart with a fork.

I didn't know about this place somehow, from the street it doesn't really even look open but you go down underground into a large bar. I'm not into sport but I enjoyed it a lot, the crowd was a good mix of young people and older people, some in for food and others just drinking. A good pub. The 2 cocktails for €15 before 8pm is a great deal. We didn't have a meal but had some fries and they were excellent. Great service too, the place was rammed but I didn't have to wait long at the bar to get served etc. I'd definitely go back!

Good food but as soon as we finished are meal we were then asked to change table to the bar as the waitress told us a party* of 6 was arriving. We agreed, to later be told that we had to leave because we had settled a bill and wanted another drink! While many more drinks were being served. Will certainly not return as they are quite money hungry!

Soup and seafood chowder are the nicest around😋 only downside was we ordered food first ,thats all we intended to have , and partner ordered a Guinness afterwards, then member of staff came over and said we have to order more food in keeping with government guidelines. We wouldn't have minded but we had food and drink half consumed at this stage so we had to order more food which we left behind. We will still return for food but hopefully a full menu resumes soon

extremely disappointing service. i called to book a table to watch the championsleague game two days in advance and when we arrived at the bar, we were told that there was no table reserved for us which was quite upsetting as we were told over the phone that we would certainly have the table. this shows disorganisation and inadequate service. seems like a cool place but this experience was very frustrating. additionaly they didn‘t make any effort/ checked if they could find a free table. mistakes happen, but the staff should have, at the very least, tried to remedy the situation as it was their mistake, not ours.

We arrived at 12.15pm and our contact details were taken. We were escorted to a table, given a menu and when we had ordered food then our drink order was taken. The food was great and very reasonable and we were looked after like kings. Great service. The place was constantly cleaned and there was a bottle of sanitiser on every table. Well done guys I really felt safe there.

Almost hidden away downstairs. It opens up, massive projector screen for rugby. The stadium isn't too far away. Plenty of screens around to catch the action. Service at the bar was good. Breakfast was great. Sinead the server was patient and attentive, capable of coming with hordes of drunk males!!

Lots of tv’s, decent food, plenty of drinking. If you’re looking for a good sports bar, this is a great choice in the midst of a lot of places that are a lot fancier (and perhaps even more others that are a lot less). Like any good bar of this sort, don’t deprive yourself the time to check out the chaotic ephemera on the wall. It looks like every space randomly sought a jersey or plaque of some sort. And when the right event is on, the place has a real energy, whether that match be a Champions League semifinal or a Hull v Leeds match in the Championship.
