We had a great time yesterday at Fitzgerald’s. We enjoyed the bartender and our lively banter with Martin. Great beers and wonderful service

We had a wonderful time here. The salmon and the cottage pie were delicious. The prices are moderate.

We asked locals where a great Pub was that was less touristy and more of a local place and this was the recommendation we received. It was absolutely perfect!! There is live music, the food was awesome, the staff was great - it turned out to be quite an awesome night. Highly recommended!

Runny Guinness pie, more like a watery stew with a bit of pastry on top, good flavour but inedible. Food was quick though (too quick by the looks of things) and staff were friendly. Paid 16.50 for the pie so you would expect better.

As a foodie I would like to try different food. There are few MUST - TRY traditional Irish food. - Beef and Guinness Pie - very rich flavor and it pairs with a puff pastry caps and chips - Irish Corned Beef and Cabbage pairs creamy mashed potatoes with cabbage ⭐️ Overall experience ⭐️ We randomly walked in this bar, the atmosphere was so good and the staffs were very friendly!! Food are so yummy and I love the beef and Guinness pie the most because the puff pastry caps is a perfect match with the meat - the pastry has a light and airy texture. When you eat it with the beef, it balanced the texture and the flavour ❤️ I love it very much. Oh...not to mention the portion was huge.. we have tried our best to finish all 😆

We had a quite nice time at Fitzgerald's Bar. The service is nice with a friendly and attentive crew. The meals we ordered were served really fast, in about 5 minutes, I would say. Both meals were really good and well served. A cold pint of Guinness to go together. The prices are nice considering you are in the downtown of Dublin.

We were cold, tired and ready to head back to the hotel before we stumbled upon this place. The live music was fantastic and the service was 10/10!!! The food was so delicious!!! Warning, however, come hungry! The portions are huge!!! :) worth the money for sure. So if you need a quick pint, some delicious food and a fun atmosphere... highly suggest this pub~

Could not recommend this place more! Great music, food and even better staff! I don’t usually leave reviews but they were all so kind and made me feel welcomed as a solo traveler! And the salad was delicious. Will definitely be coming back someday :)

Worst bar ever. We ordered 4 hamburguers and waited 30 mins for them. The waitress served us 2 of them and forgot the other 2. Then she served us one without tomatoe and we had to remind her we were waiting for the other one. After 1 hour waiting she brought us a wrap with the wrong ingredients. The meat was overcooked, even we ordered for well done meat. We complaint and the bar tender answered so rude and insulted us. We freaked out. Definitely not recommended for ANYONE.

We were really excited to eat here! The food sounded delicious. When we walked in we were told to sit in the back, as they were setting up for live music, so we did. We got menus and found what we wanted while we waited… and waited… and waited. There were maybe 3 other groups of people in there eating so they weren’t busy. However the server never came. Two women came in shortly after us and left after getting no service for more than 10 minutes. We waited at least 15 then followed their lead and left also. The waitress was standing at the bar talking to the bartender when we left. She noticed us leaving and the women right before us and said nothing. It’s a shame they were willing to let customers just walk out the door. Not great business. Unfortunately we were only visiting so they will never have the opportunity to redeem themselves. We have lots of friends and family planning trips and this restaurant will not be on the list of recommendations to them.

Was going to have a drink but decided to ask about the disabled toilet.. To my dismay the barman wouldn't look for the key and last time I was there they found it but the toilet was like a storage room.. So if you have any type of disability best go somewhere else as not a disability friendly pub.. I recommend you check with most of the pub's are they before you decide to enjoy a drink...

Been here a few times now and one thing is for sure they do provide a very reasonably priced menu compared to so many others with double the prices in the evening. If your looking for decent food and plenty then Fitzgeralds is definitely a good spot to go. The carbonara and especially the corned beef and cabbage was especially good with generous portions. I have a slight irk though. I ordered a red and white wine. Both are priced at €6.70. That's no problem price wise however the white came in a quarter bottle whils't the red was poured from a large bottle. That's 187ml v something barely over 100ml. See the images for reference. That to me is what we call a bit "Oirish" and a larger amount of red should be poured instead to compensate. The gents loo was completely out of loo roll too but I could easily forgive that.

One of the best pubs in Dublin. They have many good options for beer, delicious food, fair prices, beautiful decoration, clean bathrooms, and polite staff. The Brazilians that work there are very nice and attentive. When I come to Dublin I always come here for a burger and a beer.

I've just eaten the most delicious cottage pie in the known universe here at the gorgeous Fitzgeralds Bar. Could only get through half of the serving but took the rest with me because it was too good to leave. Thank you chef...unforgettable. 💚💚💚

Below avarage. Cute place with meh food. Fish and chips with mushy fish and frozen chips. Cheescake wasn't bad but sided with a totally unflavored cream. Guinnes tasted watery. Don't know how. Come here to drink

Amazing chicken wings, I’m throughly impressed. The chicken was so tender it peeled off the bone. I was able to eat them with a folk and knife to not dirty my fingers, but they also provide water with lemon to wash hands after the meal. It was a great price for the quality and quantity of food. Good and kind servers. Yummy desert. Love this place, will definitely visit again.
