I would 100% recommend the cask draw experience - delicious 18 year old cask strength whiskey in a lovely aromatic environment. Katie was a charming and informative host. The splosh and gurgle of the distillers dog was a delight. I don't think I'd recommend the tour however. Our guide was great but it all felt a bit rushed and there wasn't enough time to linger and it all felt a bit constructed. It didn't feel that deep or engaging despite our guides best efforts. The whiskey tasting section was nice but the selection felt geared towards shifting product rather than a really distinctive tasting experience. I'm a whiskey enthusiast not an expert but there wasn't enough contrast between the whiskeys being tasted. You could buy the whiskeys as you exit through the gift shop though... You do get a good couple of drams for your ticket fee so there's good value in that. On balance though I'd recommend you get the cask draw for €10, buy a drink in the bar and go to the Guinness storehouse for the afternoon and enjoy the sunset in the gravity bar.

Fantastic tour and experience for any Whisky fan or even those new to the drink - the whole experience was very enjoyable and our tour guide was welcoming, knowledgable and very friendly. You are out into timed groups and have a history lesson of Guinness, details on the manufacturing process and then finally a Jameson taste off vs Scottish Whisky and American Bourbon. Once finishing you are free to go to the bar and redeem your drink which are great! We definitely spent a while at the bar trying different drinks on the menu (would highly recommend the Irish coffee) All in all a very worthwhile experience - options are also available should you wish to do extended tours or private events (which looking back would’ve been great to do the cask tasting session)

We loved this tour. It was interactive, engaging and informative. We did the Guinness tour as well and found that one to be a bit of a money grab as it was primarily self guided. I’m not a whiskey drinker and enjoyed this tour anyway. A lot of pride from the folks who are employed by Jameson. You can tell it’s a well managed organization and they must treat their people well as everyone was passionate about their job and pleasant to ask questions to. The tour and tasting were well thought out. It exceeded my expectations. I would do it again next time I return.

I highly recommend visiting Jameson, but especially taking one of their classes as visiting here ended up being one of my highlights of our whole trip!! My sister and I did the whiskey cocktail making class and our instructor, Dan, was utterly PHENOMENAL!!! I feel like we got so so lucky to have him so if you can request him please do because he is what made our experience so memorable and fun! It’s nice because when you arrive, the whole set up is ready for you and then your instructor goes through fun facts, details, and explanations of how to make three popular drinks (a whiskey punch, a whiskey sour, and an old fashioned). Dan did an incredible job teaching us tips and tricks to ensure we made the perfect drink. Then after each drink, we’d clean up a little and move to the next. In the end we had three delicious drinks and they have a cute little reserved section in their bar area for you and your fellow students to sit, socialize, and enjoy the drinks you made. I also highly recommend getting there a little early so you can check in and then grab a drink before class! So as two people who didn’t start as particularly big fans of Jameson, we left the complete opposite and having had such an incredible time with many laughs and amazing memories thanks to Dan and our fun fellow students! Don’t sleep on this incredible experience!!

We had an amazing experience with Ivan at the Jameson, he was a happy chap, made our experience homely. We had the cocktail shakers experience, we went up to the bar and he taught us through the stages of making one brilliant cocktail and a lovely drink. After the experience we were able to chat with our group downstairs in a private area which was really nice and finish off the cocktail he made at the beginning for us, and even finishing off the other groups one too bonus! Ivan was a brilliant host!! He made our night feel special! Our favourite experience of our holiday in Dublin 100% 👌👍. Ivan you are amazing & keep up the hard work and charm. 😊 Many thanks Ivan! & Other Jameson staff also who was amazing. 👍

Absolutely brilliant, one of the best things to do in Dublin. The interior is warm, inviting and a little quirky. With the tour you get a Jameson's to start so make sure to arrive early so you can enjoy it in the bar before you start that tour. The tour begins with a self guided section going through the history of Jameson's. The tour guide then appears and gives a recap on this and dives in with some more detail, including how Jameson's is made. You then move into another room where you do a taste test of three different whiskey's to understand the difference between styles. You then exit through the gift shop (of course) and have the opportunity to purchase cocktails at the bar. Staff were brilliant and knowledge. Definitely visit here!

We did the Jameson Distillery Tour and had an amazing experience. It lasted about an hour, and our tour guide Sean was hilarious! He went through the entire distilling process in detail and made it interesting. And the best part - WHISKEY! I highly recommend the orange "water of life" 😉 I don't want to spoil the tour so check it out for yourself, it's worth it! And something you absolutely need to see when visiting Dublin

The Bow St Experience tour is well organized. Tour guide was nice, tried to engage as much as she could and entertained us. Comparative tasting was good and fun. At the end you get a voucher for a drink. I would 100% recommend ginger&lime cocktail even if you prefer neat whiskey. What made this a 5 star review was a cask draw experience in their live maturation warehouse in the building. We had an absolute craic there with tour guide Niall (kudos!) who just shinned with the love for whiskey. He was very insightful with tonnes of knowledge. Niall made cask draw experience worth every penny.

Just completed the Bow St experience Jamison's whiskey tour. Which cost £25 there are three whiskey tasters you get and a free drink at the end at the Grog Bar. The tour takes around 45min and it was Cal who took us around the three experiences on the tour. The first is the history of John Jamison's the second talk teaches you of the process of how Jamison's is made. Then finally you end with the taster experience. It is well worth coming here and good value. The bar at the entrance is a great experience even if you don't do a tour. They make some great whiskey cocktails and watch one of my videos of him making one. If you use the Dublin express buss from the airport to get to Dublin then your buss ticket gets you 10% of the tour price also. If you found this post useful please do like.

Take a tour, open a cask, bottle your own cask proof, and definitely grab a few drinks at the bar from Dan and Amy! You won't regret it!

This was a fun experience. They tour you around inside and out, explaining the history and process. Great picture opportunities. This is definitely a place to see when visiting Ireland. Huge selection of whiskey with personalized options in the gift shop. There is also some sampling at the end of the tour and possibility to be selected to try a flight of different whiskeys they make.

I am not a huge fan of whisky, but loved the whole experience. the guided tour was short (about 45mins),but again, I absolutely loved it. The staff here is fantastic. I would recommend to book tickets in advance.

This was a fun tour. We had an actual guide and he was great. We enjoyed this tour so much more than the Guiness tour. You get some free tastings of whiskeys and also a free mixed drink at the end. It was very informative and made me appreciate whiskey even though I’m not a fan.

Visited in 2022. This is a must if you are a fan of Jameson. The atmosphere is great as soon as you walk in. Cool bar right when you enter where they have very good cocktails. Their gift shop is great, lots of cool items that will make great gifts. They even have a few bottles that are exclusive to the Guinness store that you can personalize with your name on the label. We did the tour and the guide was amazing! He was so good at keeping everyone engaged and the content of the tour was really entertaining. We paid extra to taste from a cask that they tap open in front of you. This is something they do not bottle for sale. Overall, highly recommend it! P.S. I heard from a local in Dublin that he had gone on a tour awhile back and it wasn’t good but they had updated the tour a few years back and he had gone back as well and was much better. So if you had gone awhile ago and was disappointed, try again! Book ahead of time!

Would recommend the Jamison’s tour experiences! They offer a few different tours. It might worth doing a few to try different experiences. The bow street experience is about the history, the process and tasting at the end. They also offer alcohol free options at lower price if you’re pregnant or doing another experience that also involves drinking, such as the cocktail making class I did that includes three cocktails. All of the staff there are extremely friendly and passionate about making everyone enjoy their time at the distillery.

Did both the Bow St Experience and the Black Barrel Blending class. Both were amazing experiences but the Black Barrel was above and beyond. The ordinary experience was informative and interesting. Our guide, Alex, was very professional and entertaining. The blending class was very unique and definitely worth trying out. You get a very nice understanding of the processes involved in making a blended whiskey. Our guide for this part was also amazing (sorry I can’t remember her name but I came on the 22-10-2023 3pm tour). Edit: came back to do the cocktail class and it was amazing as well. Out of the three experiences, I would suggest the black barrel to any whiskey enthusiast, and the cocktail class to anyone else.

First time visiting. Lovely experience! The place is a lot smaller than the Guinness factory but well worth it! The guide takes you into a journey across Jameson's history. Then, a very well explained whisky tasting. We paid extra to try the "cask draw" to taste whisky right out of a cask. There is a great gift shop and a bar. Bathrooms are spotless. Katie, the guide was brilliant!!! Highly recommend it!!!

This was truly one of the best blending classes/ tour I’ve had in Ireland. Definitely do the Black Barrel Blending Class. It’s worth every penny. My friends and I had a blast learning how to make whiskey sour and old fashion. They might ban me from Ireland for saying this but it was better than Guinness Tour.

Recommended if you are a whisky drinker and are visiting Dublin. You get a few tasters and an interactive presentation on the history and production of Jamesons Whiskey. The tour guide was fun and knew what she was talking about. The experience last just over an hour but you can chill at the bar after. We got a free drink with our ticket which can be booked online. When we went they asked for our covid pass. Check restrictions before going.

The distillery tour is really fun and enlightening. It is really neat to see the old structure below and recreations of spaces where brewing would have taken place. The samples were great and the suggested cocktails were fantastic. Would definitely go back again!

Excellent tour! Our guide Gavin was engaging, funny and informative. Didn't feel rushed at all and the tour has a good flow. Lighting and exhibits were well done and tasting at end was well done. Highly recommended and having done the Guiness tour on the same day I can say I much preferred this with its personal touch. Definitely add the cask draw at the end, great value and the cask strength whiskey was wonderful.

A true hidden gem in the heart of town and just a short walk from O'Connell St. Although production is longer based here this doesn't take away from the experience. From the moment you walk into the courtyard you begin to see the mix of old & new. When you go in the main door you're greeted by a wide open room with chandeliers made from whiskey bottles, a large bar and old structures left over from when this was a working distillery. Once you check in for your tour you can go upstairs where you get to learn the history of the Jameson brand and its place in Irish history. We had the most fantastic tour guide who certainly had the gift of the gab who wove such a mesmerising story you could just sit there listening to him for hours. We then went on to sample the produce. This was quiet a different experience to our last tour in another distillery. In this you compare the Irish brand to and American and Scottish brand. I was so surprised with the striking differences but also being able to taste certain flavours. Once finished the tour you exit through the gift shop. I highly recommend talking to the tour guide & also the gang in the shop to find out which whiskey they drink. You know telling pick a Jameson but they'll you which is the best, they are the experts after all. With your ticket you get a free drink at the bar either before or after the tour. We chose after the tour & I had a ginger & lime which went down really easy. It was nice to just sit with a nice cold drink & watch the world go by. I'll definitely be bringing my relatives the next time they visit. Have fun. Slainte

TOTALLY WORTH IT! Even if you're not a fan of Jameson or Irish Whiskey, it's definitely worth doing. The tour guide is great, they'll take you on an interactive tour as to how their whiskey is made and what makes them so special. You'll learn how to smell it, taste it and what to look out for. You get a tasting session of three drams of Irish Whiskey, and with your ticket, you also get a free Jameson Whiskey & Ginger Ale Cocktail at the end of the tour. Very nice and definitely worth the money. €15 is a very good price to pay for a tour of Jameson!

Had such an amazing time at the Jameson distillery bow street. This is a perfect place for a date night in Dublin or even a family/friends outing. We went for a cocktail making class and it was amazing. Our guide was super friendly, and had an amazing knowledge about Jameson in general - from production to distribution. The class was super fun, it lasts for an hour and you get to make two cocktails and taste a shot of Jameson whiskey. They also give you a third cocktail by the end of the class, so be prepared to be a bit drunk by the end of the hour. The class was 50 euro per person, which is very decent as you get 3 cocktails in the price! There are many other glasses and tours as well at the distillery and we will definitely come back again.

  • 5/5 Giusi A. 2 years ago on Google
Extremely pleasant experience at the Jameson Distillery! The tour is smartly organized and the whiskey expert is brilliant. I enjoyed it very much because I actually learned about the process of making whiskey and how to properly taste it. I also had the special experience of the cask draw and visiting the beautiful cellar. 100% worth the visit

Really good experience, good price for a guided tour and beats Guinness hands down. I recommend. My group missed our time slot and the staff were very forgiving.

Definitely a must stop in Dublin. Do a tour, don't do a tour. Either way it is a great atmosphere, cheerful chaps, delicious whiskey.

This was such an amazing experience! The tour and the tastings were outstanding, and the establishment itself is very appealing. Or for guide, Robin was such a great brand ambassador and she made the experience very pleasant and enjoyable. We had a lot of fun with Katie when my brother purchased the "Black Barrel self bottling experience" she was a lot of fun, joking and laughing with us. We really enjoyed ourselves here!

  • 5/5 Calvin L. 5 months ago on Google
I visited 3 whiskey distilleries in Ireland and Jameson had the best experience of any of them, and was one of my favorite things we did in Dublin. The tour was very well put together (and Nial was an excellent guide). The add on cask draw was also cool. The bar there was also really good. In addition to their normal cocktail menu they had a whole old fashioned menu, we tried 3 of them and all were delicious. I would also recommend the bottle your own black barrel option to any whiskey fans.

  • 5/5 Panaguide R. 3 years ago on Google
Jameson offers different tour guides. I personally did the 18ish euro guide that included taste of whisky and a beverage. Very fast and well done. It opened inside me a new perspective from whiskey (I am not a bit fan of whiskey by itself). Worth the while tk be honest!

  • 5/5 Tiago M. 2 years ago on Google
The tour was exciting and educational! We had a great tasting and also a drink included in the tour. You can opt between a neat whisky or a cocktail. The facilities are great and it was a great experience.

Great tour with a really nice tourguide. We did the Bow St. experience tour combined with the cask draw. If you are interested in the history of Jameson, the Whiskey making and in trying Whiskey direct from the cask, this is the tour for you! We had a lot of fun and learnt quite a bit!

  • 5/5 Lauren L. 4 months ago on Google
Such an awesome tour! The guide was knowledgeable and personable, and all of the bartenders were so nice. This was one of our first few stops after getting off of our flight in Dublin and it was so worth it.

  • 4/5 Sandra M. 2 years ago on Google
What a treat! We had an absolutely great time learning the difference between other whiskeys and Jameson...we also did a cocktails making class which was so fun. Literally left tipsy and happy 🤭

  • 5/5 Duncan Y. 2 years ago on Google
Rated as a No1 tour this did not dissapoint. The tour guide was informative expressive and gave the tour in a fun way. Of course no Distillery tour is a tour with out sampling so leave the car home. The place is well laid out and even Covid can't put a downer on the Jameson experience. Coming to Dublin make time for the tour shop the gift shop with its unique offerings its well worth it.

The Bow St Experience tour was very well organized, our tour guide was engaging, knowledgeable and entertaining. I’m not a big whiskey fan and I really enjoyed it - you get a drink voucher to use at the end and you can get a whiskey, ginger and lime cocktail which was nice if you don’t like straight whiskey. Even though whiskey is not distilled here anymore and you don’t ‘see’ the actual process, the way it’s explained is very engaging and I really enjoyed that part of the tour.

  • 5/5 Jennifer T. 2 years ago on Google
If you only have time for one tour, definitely pick this one at the Jameson Distillery. You learn so much and taste a few different kinds of whiskey as part of the experience. It’s arranged to be a small group so you really have a chance to ask questions and chat with others. The bar is really nice and you can hang out there before and after the tour. We added the whiskey tasting from the cask and would also recommend.

Great guided tour, a glass of Jameson included in the ticket, our tour guide was very informative told a fantastic story that really brought you into it, a nice taste test at the end to bring the tour to a close.

The tour is short (which I like) but informative with a nice tasting and best of all, they've got a great bar you can enjoy when you've finished up. Their Christmas decor was very nice, the tour guide was fun, and their drinks were terrific.

  • 5/5 Griffin A. 2 years ago on Google
Very fun tour with a great tasting at the end. The price was fair and the tour guide was funny and excited to be there. They have three rooms for the main tour; one for history, one for the process of creating the whiskey, and one for tasting which was a great organization.

  • 5/5 Steven F. 1 year ago on Google
Booking in advance recommended. Tour guide did a great job. Premium tasting experience included four additional shots of premium Irish whiskeys in addition to the Scottish, American and Irish whiskeys sampled on the “standard” tour. Irish whiskeys we’re definitely our favorite. We left with six liters total between the two of us- maximum allowed to bring back to the USA. Also- no shipping to the US permitted due to US import laws. Whose your designated driver?!?!

  • 5/5 Elizabeth C. 2 years ago on Google
Fabulous experience from start to finish. We started with the tasting experience followed by the guided tour. Erin was our guide, she was an absolute scream and very informative. Highly recommend.

What an amazing tour one of the best tours I have been on. The 25e tour gets you a tour with a cocktail plus a sample of 3 different types of whiskey that they make. The tour showed us how they make their whiskey and educated us on the elaborate process. This is a must visit tourist destination.

The shakers drink cocktail making class was SO much fun!! Worth 50 💶 for sure!!! My instructor was a guy with brown hair that was worn in a bun, he was great! He was informative, answered any and all questions and was so fun!! My fav thing I did in Dublin! Excellent experience!!!

This place was great! The atmosphere is incredible with Jameson bottles chandelier and Christmas tree set up! I also loved the drinks you could get at the bars. There are two. Tours are available but I would highly recommend booming ahead of time as they fill up very quickly. I got lucky as there were two cancellations the day I went. Otherwise, I would've been out of luck. The tour itself is fantastic, Kaylee, our tour guide was great, very knowledgeable and had great interaction with the tour group. You do get a free drink with your ticket as you wait for the tour and you get to taste three different whiskeys on the tour. The tour I did was €25. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who visits Dublin.

My mom and I did a tour and enjoyed our visit. Signage was well posted to help us find the location. The free drink they offered was a nice treat to enjoy in the lovely seated area. The tour itself was very informative of the business, history and process. We purchased two cask strength bottles of Jameson, which we got to pour from the barrel ourselves! James assisted us in that process, he was kind, patient and helpful.

A great experience on our first morning in Dublin. After checking in and having our COVID vaccine certificates checked we were greeted by Niall. He guided us through the process of manufacturing Jameson whiskey from the ingredients to bottling. There was some very good Tech used in the presentations. The tour ended with a tasting session with Scottish and American whiskeys and of course Jameson's. To exit the tour we then pasted through a gift shop into a bar where you exchanged your entry ticked for another drink. Niall was very knowledgeable and introduced a good amount of humour into his presentation. Well worth the visit.
