Not a true Dublin (DUB) airport location- this hotel is far offsite. I wouldn’t consider this a true airport hotel based on my travel experience, so the location name is very deceiving. The rooms and overall facilities need a major upgrade, very dated fixtures and furnishings. Shuttle services from / to the airport are completely however on run every 40 minutes so UBER or Taxi is better option. Restaurant food and drink selection is OK, however be prepared for slow service.

How this place is rated 4 stars, I'll never know. It is in a good location and the food service was very good. (That's why I gave it two stars instead of one.) It is not that close to the airport and the shuttle service slow and infrequent -- but our return driver was great. This place also needs a lot work. Two photos attached; one shows crown molding missing above the window and damaged furniture, both indicative of less than attentive management. Hilton also offers "e-upgrades" allowing discounts on superior rooms or suites. I was confirmed to receive one, but upon arrival, it wasn't there. At least I didn't pay for it. The staff at the front desk was generally grumpy and none seemed to be Irish!

5 star review for this 4 star Hotel. The staff are really friendly and very professional. The food was a little on the expensive side but very tasty. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and do quiet. There are restaurants and a shopping centre within 5 mins walk. We will definitely stay here again.

Stayed overnight after we missed our flight home. Booking on our phone and check-in process was smooth. Staff very friendly and helpful. Spacious rooms and decently comfortable beds. Desk room for laptop. Walking distance from a few restaurants and pubs. Would recommend for a nice, smooth accommodation.

Well, where do I start. I stay in a lot of hotels and I won't be staying here again. The rooms and hotel is dated , the bar and restaurant are nice but when you get back to the room it's as if the make-up has been removed. They also kindly moved me to a accessible room, not what I booked but they didn't care, when I asked they were like" we just do that". Ok, thank you. Nothing else to reports, but if this is how they treat their diamond members, I wonder what other customers get. Since covid, the experience of staying in hotels has changed.

Just stayed a night here for a long layover and I had to leave a review because the service was outstanding. The staff took the time to make our short stay convenient and smooth. Rooms? Fine. Hotel in general? Fine. Staff? 10/5 stars! I have truly never received better service at a hotel or likewise. Thank you!!!

The location states dublin airport but its actually about 10 miles from the airport. The food and drink are great but the cost of the food and drink and through the roof. Its a fantastic location great staff .

If you get a smile walking past reception you are lucky. Staff are rude, confused and do not know what they are doing. Blond female staff at reception is the worst! Room was old in need of refurbishment, breakfast was cold with cheap quality food. Staff might not care as they know it is an airport hotel so not regular guests…although near airport you cannot hear planes from your room. Overall I would not recommend

The parking garage is a disaster. The garage gate and ticket machines are all broken. The pay machine didn’t dispense change correctly so we were overcharged. Hotel claimed they couldn’t refund us because another company runs the garage. Avoid it if you can. If not, make sure the hotel front desk lets you in and out for free (they will punch your card if you ask), or pay them directly. Everything else was good. Spacious and clean rooms, comfy bed, helpful staff.

Very clean and nice rooms. Had a bit of confusion about the shuttle from the airport, so wish that were a bit clearer on their website. However, once we got there, the service and accomodation was excellent. Right across from a shopping centre so that was helpful too.

I recommend this hotel. I had a advance purchase reservation, due to BA cancelled flights, I contacted the hotel for help. Joao was very friendly and helped me to move my nonrefundable reservation to another day. Good service. The room is newly renovated. The style us great. Pity there is no bathtub and no Club lounge. The restaurant is nice though. Food was good. Breakfast is nice too. Shuttle bus is not easy to identify, you need to go close to the front of the van and see the A4 sized printed out saying Hilton, unlike other region where the hotel logo and name is visible on the van.

Deposit on arrival, despite not being mentioned in confirmation was poorly explained, young staff member in training did their best and when asking for advice from their manager was told to tell customer to pay or cancel. Poor communication from Manager and not staff member in training, once explained to me the reason I was happy to pay, although it certainly didn't need to be that drawn out. Rooms are below bog standard and extremely dated, breakfast to go was as average as it comes. If not taking an early flight probably won't return and if I am taking early flight I'll probably check Clayton or just leave home early.

The large family room was awesome for our family of 5. We appreciated the sofa beds all set up upon our arrival. The shuttle to and from the airport worked perfectly. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Excellent food and all staff was very helpful and friendly.

We stayed at this hotel on 4 different occasions in May, 2022. Unfortunately when we went to the airport to fly home we tested positive for Covid and the airline required us to quarantine for 7 additional days. Although we had to stay in our hotel room (the entire time) the hotel staff could not have been more friendly, welcoming and efficient (all via phone). The receptionists ALWAYS made sure we had what we needed from room service, housekeeping and willing to get my medications if needed. The room was spacious and thankfully clean when we arrived. Breakfast room servers got to know what we liked and were always prompt and accurate for that morning 'flat white'!!!

Lovely hotel. Looks very modern as you walk in. Rooms a little old fashion. Clean room & bathroom. Nice towels and shower gel provided. The shower was broken in terms of hanging off wall Was able to have a shower but was slightly disappointing.

We usually liked having dinner and drinks at restaurant, we live just 2 min from hotel. But after last visit, we will never go back. We order coffee tea, and two burgers, it was shock when waitress ask for payment, before we got our food. But, we just ordered, and did wait for food 10 more minutes (this happened first time) Waitress did say that we have to pay, and we paid,. Questions..please explain Why?? Its indoor restaurant, if that's bin outside ,summer time, we would understand. Never ever this situation happened in any other restaurant, .

We stayed for a night at this property since we had an early flight out of DUB, and they have a fairly consistent airport shuttle schedule which made it convenient. From the city center, it is around a 30-40 minute bus ride. The property was clean, it could use a few minor renovations. We did need to get assistance regarding a last minute change in flight schedule and the hotel staff was able to book my guest a taxi since it was out of the shuttle service time. All staff that I interacted with very nice. If I need to stay close to DUB airport, I will stay at this property.

During my stay I had an allergy problem which the staff managed very well, in particular Daiva. The rest of the staff also behaved very well towards me, the rooms were cleaned and tidied every day, the location is really convenient, the restaurant was good as was the breakfast which offered a wide choice, the gym is one of the best I've ever seen. found it in a hotel. I have good memories about staying at this hotel. Excellent quality/price.

I booked a room through my credit card (used some points) months in advance. I got to the front counter to check in and I was told I didn’t pay and I had to pay. I showed the front desk women all my confirmations and she said just she didn’t know and I needed to pay. I kept saying “no I paid” so a man came over (I believe the manager) and I read the computer screen and immediately said “I see right here you paid, I’ll get you the room keys”: there was no apology For the mix up and no apology for the women not even bothering to ask anyone for help (the was a trainee, I read it on her badge). It left a sour taste in my mouth from the beginning. I understand a mistake but to not even acknowledge the mistake/misunderstanding. Then she told us breakfast wasn’t included and if we wanted to put a card down to pay for it so we did. Next morning we went to breakfast and they told us we didn’t pay so we had to go to the front desk. The same women was there and rudely said “well yes you need to pay”. What was the point of putting our card down and saying we wanted to pay for breakfast if she wasn’t going to do it. It was just a very rude vibe from the hotel. Finally check out was at 12pm and at 11am the cleaning staff just walked into our room. We didn’t have the house keeping tag on the door. We were just about to leave using the restroom and all and they just walked in. If check out is at 12pm I shouldn’t have to worry about someone coming into the room before check out. I would never stay at this hotel again. The only good things were the free shuttle to the airport and the bed was comfortable. If you don’t care about an attitudey staff then stay.

Should have heeded the advice given by other reviewers and selected another property. Then again--perhaps it was just an off evening for us. For starters---the hotel shuttle is indeed at bus stop 16 however--neither the website nor the front desk personnel when you call them state that it is NOT where the other busses pick up. The hotel van parks across from where the busses pick up / drop off. We waited for close to an hour and half due to missing the van we were supposed to catch. Next--the room was far below the Hilton standard. Room was outdated and no-kidding; there was thick soap scum and hair in the shower drain screen as it had clearly not been cleaned for a while. The tile grout in the shower was also discolored due to age and not being cleaned. Needless to say I did not take a shower. The price charged for the room is far more than it is worth..............

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. Receptionist was very welcoming, we got premium room which was nicely decorated very comfortable room. The bar area looks great with a good selection of beers. We had a nice dinner. The hotel has 24hrs room service which is nice after a late flight. I recommend to stay at Hilton Dublin Airport.

Omg one of the best hotels I have stayed at in Dublin. It was clean and they were good with the restrictions with covid. The food was amazing and the breakfast Room was clean and lovely came with 2 bottles of water. And was very quiet at night. I wouldn't fault it at all. Room 235 was a basic 1 double bed. We sleep soundly. I would recommend to everyone.

Great base for overnight sleep. And Shuttle to airport, which is not far away.. Restraunt and bar facilities. Attentive front desk. Room very clean and well laid out. We had a disablement bathroom which was fine for our needs. Good choice.

Don't rely in their electric car charger. The receptionist is not prepared to help you in case of any problem! I always had great experiences and stays with any Hilton chain, except this time. I booked this hotel specifically because 1) it is very close to the airport, 2) I'm a Hilton Honors member, 3) I needed to ensure I stayed in a hotel with charger for my electric car. The hotel, the room and the service was good as always, but the great disappointment was that I not only was not able to charge my electric car, but the receptionist had absolutely no clue about anything related to the electric charging. I called twice before I arrived to ensure that I would have the charger available, and in fact it was. However, when I parked to charge my car, nothing happened. When I went up and I asked the receptionist about why I could not charge, she looked at me and really replied "I have no idea how it works".... really? I then called the number that was in the charger, and to complete my frustration the call could not be completed. Result: I went on vacation, and when I come back I won't be able to drive straight back to Cork because I have just 1/3 of the charge, so I will need to spend an additional night in "another" hotel to get my car charged in order for me to travel the other day. Super frustrating and disappointing for the Hilton chain.

My experience at the Hilton was great! I appreciate the great customer service that Night Shift manager Sebastien provided to us, it was caring and warm hospitality. Room upgrade was perfect. Our stay was pleasant and exceptional.

Easy to get to from the airport. The staff was very friendly. The food was typical for a hotel restaurant, adequate but not remarkable. Room was clean. Only complaint was the bed covering which only had a duvet, no upper sheet. With the duvet on it was too warm; off too cool.

  • 4/5 Jeff M. 5 months ago on Google
Conveniently located. Nice upgraded room. Only issue......we ordered a couple of sandwiches at $8 per and was charged and $8.50 delivery fee and added a tip. If I would have known, I'd have walked to 100 steps to get to the restaurant and save $12. Small irritation, but I think they can do better!!

Really helpful and friendly staff. Very nice - if a tad expensive - buffet breakfast, which I suppose does improve the value. Hot and cold sections to the range of choices. A good experience - I will return .... get there before 09:30 for best range of hot items.

I used to always come here pre covid at least twice a month for breakfast and when family came over I would have them stay there. Needless to say iv had many a breakfast there. So as I'd not been in a while I thought I must go and I did this thursday. Breakfast was all cold.... eggs where all over cooked. The burners to keep the breakfast warm had all gone out (these things happen, it just went un noticed) I said it to the girl when she was restocking, only one of the burners re-lit, a few mins later the floor manager had seen me put a piece of pudding on a tissue and touch it (she said please use the thongs provided) I had as my son has food allergies so of course I had. So I said to her, I have and by the way are u aware the food is all cold and all the fried eggs have gone hard. I prob would not have said anything, if on top of cold breakfast, and already seeing one member of staff not bothering about getting warm food out. I now had a rude floor manager. One of my sons has eggs, nuts, peanut allergies so he was only there for the warm breakfast. My youngest boy ate his sausages and some cold beens and it didn't overly bother him.. but if it was my business and the floor manager was informed the food was cold and didn't bother doing anything cause it was closed in 15/20 mins. Bang on 10 29, she did pull the chairs across to start clearing away. A bit of customer service for the 20 ppl that where there to say we are about to clear up, if u want anything before we do. The lad beside me had to push the chair out of his way as he had a tea and a yogurt in his hands bit they had the chairs gone across by the time he came bk, we laughed that he was 30 secs late. I might try it again at some point when I'm up to risking 50 euro and taking d chance I'll have to feed everyone in the hour, as precovid, I couldn't fault the place.

There is a church service here every Sunday 11am. Church gathering and fellowship. Those who are looking for a church to attend to. Are very much welcome. People are very much friendly and loving. I attend once and keep coming back. Family friendly, place also lots of parking.

Stayed here one night before a flight to Edinburgh. The front desk staff were helpful. The room was nice. The hotel location offered suffered a bit in that easy-to-walk-to restaurants were fairly limited. There is a nice liquor store adjacent to the hotel, however. We did eat at the hotel's dining room. The food quality was good overall. And our server, Ciara, was great -- attentive, polite, good-natured, and funny.

I stayed one night to be close to airport for International early in morning. The Lady at front desk checked me in and she was wonderful and professional. We had a great chat! I remembered her being from Romania. The hotel room was clean, very quiet and comfortable. The food at restaurant was delicious. The hotel offers a complimentary taxi if you need to be at airport earlier than 630am when it's shuttle service actually begins. This courtesy makes this hotel a cut above the rest!

The rooms are comfy and clean, but very standard. Breakfast buffet is okay and nothing too fancy for Hilton standards. I had a good stay nonetheless. Free parking in the basement of this hotel.

Great stay! Happy to check me in close to midnight. Friendly service throughout. Comfortable, clean, and large room. Airport shuttle was timely and courteous. Totally lovely Hilton Honors breakfast buffet with black and white pudding and a fancy wee espresso machine.

The rooms are slightly dated but clean and large, overall pleasant experience. Kaan made us feel welcomed when our flight was late and the dinning room had closed moments before getting to the restaurant. He helped us order room service and provided welcome drinks and that made all the difference in our stay.

Booked a room here as it was the closest hotel to Malahide Castle & Gardens for a concert. Nothing to complain about. The rooms were really nice and comfortable. The service was good, and the buffet breakfast was excellent. The free shuttle to the airport was an added bonus. We really enjoyed our stay- thanks!

I stayed in Hilton for 3 nights and had a good experience. The bed was comfy. The room was very clean and hygienic. The staff was very nice. There were multiple options for breakfast and it was very delicious as well. I had a drink and dinner as well. Everything was worth it. There is a regular airport shuttle as well. I would prefer to stay there again.

I could not stress this enough DO NOT BOOK THE FUNCTION ROOM!! We held a funeral reception in this hotel yesterday and i have to say the service was appalling. We made a booking for the function room for 70-80 people but when we arrived there was only enough tables for 40 people. Once half an hour passed we finally had enough tables for most to sit down. Then came the food, we ordered again soup and sandwiches for 70-80 people yet 58 people were served and the rest were told that it would be a half hour wait until the next lot would be out. They claimed it was due to a higher amount of people than expected yet there was only 78 guests in attendance. The food itself was awful - supposedly veg soup with no flavour whatsoever, a mini bread roll no bigger than a pinky with no butter given, and stale bland sandwiches. No dietary requirements were adhered too. A vegetarian was given only meat sandwiches and had to ask people at the table if they would trade!!! Even the cutlery was wrong. Oh and then they tried to charge us major for this food claiming they fed over 100 people. As someone who owns a catering company, i have never experienced something like this. We were also advised that we can have the room up until 10pm with no additional charge, yet at 5pm we were advised that after 6pm it is an additional €50 per hour. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone and would advise all to stay away. Despite all the complaints, not one was handled correctly. Even ordering a drink from the bar was a nightmare. I tried to order 1 pint 6 times before it was brought down 45 minutes later Disgraceful service the managers and chefs should be ashamed. They lied to us multiple times over the evening and ruined what we tried to make a fantastic send off for our grandmother. We were offered a free function hall and food from another location yet decided to go with the hotel that promised the moon and stars and could not deliver basic service.

A shuttle is available from the airport to get here. It runs every forty minutes. Had a couple of nights here before a flight out. I only received a room on the first floor, which was against my preference on file, but it was spacious. Not cleaned to a high standard with particles on the floor and due to the use of fixed toiletries the shower gel was empty.

Stayed for 1 night ahead of an early flight the next day. A well located hotel, not really at the airport but does have a free bus. Reception staff were very good at using the Hilton Honors app chat function to help me arrange pick up from the airport. Room was large, if a little dated looking. It was very clean. Only complaint would be that the Aircon didn't get the room to anything cooler than about 22 degrees.

This part of town is not safe to walk around after dark. We took two taxis while staying there, and each driver highly recommended we not walk the area as it was not safe at night. It is industrial and it is not as near to the airport as other hotels. I gave it 3 stars dye to location.

This has been our go to stop entering and leaving from Dublin Airport, but we may have to reconsider. The rooms are clean, but worn. The rugs are pretty bad. And service wise, this is not an A team operation, although the restaurant is better than the desk. No

Firstly, this hotel is not at the airport, it is about 15 minutes from the airport. They offer transportation to the airport - that was very convenient. Their rooms are nice and clean, maybe a little dated. We are American, so we didn't like the plug-in ports, but that's the whole country, but if this is an airport hotel, they should know they will have international guests. Breakfast is good the European kind of breakfast, which I appreciate I'm not a huge fan of the food but it's not their fault just my palette is a diverse but this is not my fav but it is something to eat. Guest Service - is top-notch!!

We only stayed at this hotel for one night before flying back to the USA but we were very pleased with our experience. The suite was clean and well appointed. We were impressed with the professionalism of the staff. A special Thank You to Niamh, the front desk clerk who went out of her way to be kind, helpful and accommodating to me as a disabled traveler and my family. The drive to the airport is short and easy, and we would be happy to stay here again.

Flew in from IOM the afternoon before flying to the U.S. the following morning. Needed a 1-night stay in a hotel close to the airport that had everything I needed to accomplish the mission. I picked the perfect hotel. The airport transportation was provided, the restaurant was perfect for dinner and breakfast and the room was clean and as comfortable as could be. The staff was warm and courteous and was quite caring and attentive. No 15 hour layover could have been more comfortable. I highly recommend this property.

The staff, service and amenities here at Hilton Dublin Airport are exceptional! While it is not the closest hotel to the airport, a complementary shuttle service is available. The staff were excellent, kind, friendly, and went above and beyond to help with our luggage and arranging for a complementary taxi to come take us to the airport. We were blown away from start to finish. The price was reasonable with 5 star service from exceptional staff all around.
