Amazing location for a hotel. The breakfast was a good buffet (hot and cold) and was included in our room rate. The rooms were comfortable but small with no desk to work at. For me the biggest issue was very warm Duvet and very hot rooms that made sleeping difficult. Overall very nice hotel

It was tough to find but we were told the CEO has been trying to fix it on Google Maps so they are working at getting it sorted out. However, absolutely beautiful hotel in downtown Dublin, just next to Trinity College. The concierge and front doorman were very helpful and helped us along nicely. The bar was awesome and in a great location. They had probably some of the nicest bathrooms I've ever seen. And the setup in the lobby was absolutely gorgeous. Great location. Great experience.

Feels like a small boutique with the amenities of a larger hotel. Rooms a nicely appointed and washrooms have good amenities. Nice bar in the basement. Service is great - very attentive. If you get the chance try and get into one of the suites on the second floor - they’re unique and fantastic!

Five stars isn't enough. Just a superb hotel with superb service and staff. The food and drinks are absolutely amazing. The rooms are gorgeous and comfortable. Location is also perfect. This is my absolute favorite hotel in the world. Also a big plus for the holiday decorations - it makes you feel right at home. I'm running out of superlatives, so I will just be back there as soon as possible.

I don't normally leave reviews, but this was bad enough that I thought it was important to do so. We stayed at the Dublin Westin in early June (2022) for two days. Long story short, I would not recommend staying here. It made me hate Dublin. And dear god, definitely do not book this location via any 3rd party service. It was easily the worst hotel we stayed at for our full 12 day trip. There were so many issues. The air conditioning in the room we paid for was broken, and for whatever reason, the room was uncomfortably hot (and I run cold), despite the cool weather. Even the hotel representative admitted it was uncomfortable. The only other room available was a significant downgrade. Please note: I noticed that the air-conditioning was not working in the new room either, but for whatever reason the temperature in the downgraded room was fine, so... fine, it's all fine. However, the front desk would not reimburse us for the downgraded room without first getting approval with the reservation staff, who only work 9-5 pm... you know, the time you typically want to be out exploring the city but now have to cut into your vacation to deal with issues. This was partly complicated because we booked through a 3rd party service (Chase rewards). The front desk staff said they could not make any changes to the reservation without first going through our 3rd party vendor. They did not offer any other consolation for the downgrade (free breakfast, maybe???), other than a generic shrug. So we called our American 3rd party vendor (from Ireland) who then called the front desk staff 4 floors downstairs from us (in Ireland), who then transferred them to the same reservation agents (in Ireland), who never answered. We tried again the next day--same result. We tried emailing the reservation agents directly--no response. It's now been a week, and we still have not heard anything from anyone. Super. In addition to blatant theft, we had a bunch of other, smaller, frankly stupid issues, that otherwise I would not bother posting about. The downgraded room was gross. I'll try and attach a photo, but the grout in the bathroom was all orange and mildewy. We had the hotel launder our clothes, and they lost an item. One of the cleaning staff decided to use our room to make a cup of coffee, and left their dirty cup, as well as a mess of water. Also, the other "clean" cup had gross stains in it. The gym had limited equipment. Pro: Location and concierge service was good.

Service quality below the Westin standard, or of a 3 star hotel. Breakfast staff were slow and ‘lost’ when asked questions. Our room was not serviced at 4pm - after we walked in to the surprise of the cleaner then they asked us to come back in 2min. Small things like the clock time was 8 hours out. I’m sure The Westin will use the excuse of ‘sorry we are short staffed due to COVID’, if that’s the case stop charging $800 a room if you can’t deliver the service. Dublin Westin, you need to review your service staff ASAP

Great hotel in a very central location in the city especially for sight seeing. The staff is excellent with a focus on customer service. The rooms are very nice with great beds, pillows, towels and robes. Tea room/ bar is very nice. Breakfast at Morelands Grill was great. We would come back here

First let me say the staff have been very nice. The faults to follow are about “leadership” faults. Wrong room allocated - was meant to be “deluxe” but was bottom level entry point - manager could not understand how for $700 euro we were offered these rooms, fridge doesn’t work, no towel service, no room service, no Air Conditioning -,only untreated air, bed not made up, late check in at 4.30, wrong room key issued at check-in ( tried to access another guests room - just a tad embarrassing) security access to mezzanine level faulty…….these are just a quick snap shot of our experience. Simply put it was like faulty towers. Nice people but obviously no leadership. Sadly my recommendation is to look elsewhere - this hotel does not live up to the global Westin Brand. Simply put it’s a pretender who charges Westin rates but does not deliver. Needs a major improvement. We were offered a free meal to make up for the deficiencies but declined. I don’t do these reviews for a pay off - I do them honestly. I hope someone in the Westin head office is listening. Sad but true. Attached is a photo of a false eyelash that was not there this morning. Yuk!!!

I went only for the afternoon tea so can’t comment on it as a hotel, but I had a wonderful experience at afternoon tea. You get a huge amount and variety of food and sweet treats, it’s very filling so go hungry! Great service from Abbie, veg friendly options and a huge variety in the tea which was unlimited. They also have great little boxes to take away what you can’t finish that totally seal to keep your stuff fresh. The whole thing is very smooth, and the environment is lovely. They also sang a happy birthday and came out with some extra chocolate at the end for no extra charge which was totally unexpected:) It is quite expensive at €65 per person but it is definitely worth it for a special occasion.

The Westin is definitely the place to stay in Dublin - great staff, amazing breakfast, perfect location, zero complaints. If you are a Marriott member, don't pass the Westin in search of another facility. We were treated like family.

My husband and I were in Dublin for the weekend after a family trip in Spain and from the moment we stepped out of the cab we were treated with such kindness and professionalism. Luis literally chased down our cab after I realized I had left my phone in it. From Kate at the front desk who greeted us with a beautiful smile to the sweet helpful doorman. Francisco, Luis and countless others that I did not get their names thank you from the bottom of our hearts for such wonderful accommodations. Everything you see online regarding the Westin Dublin is accurate. It is so beautiful and clean and you are met with the utmost attention. The food from room service to dining in the hotel was exceptional. We will absolutely stay there again. It is in a perfect location as well. We were walking distance to shops, museums and landmarks. Thank You again Westin for such an amazing first experience in Dublin.

Lovely hotel, however, the decor is a bit dated. We enjoy a drink in the cocktail bar but it is always quiet with little to no atmosphere. The auditorium is fab for afternoon tea.

This place was recently rebranded (was Westin Dublin) and it is absolutely lovely. The staff was great and the room was really nice and plush. It is also very centrally located so you cannot go wrong. I wish I could have stayed longer. The only thing I didn't like is that I was promised 4p checkout as a Bonvoy Gold member and that wasn't noted. When I asked, I was given 3p. Other than that, I enjoyed my visit. I will be back!

The staff at this hotel are the most efficient and caring that I have ever encountered. My wife was in a great deal of pain the staff made sure that everything went well for us.. the conceirage staff From David on down went above and beyond.

Beautiful refurbished hotel in the heart of Dublin. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. There is an atmosphere of luxury without being pretentious. The food is exceptional and the bed was the most comfortable I've ever experienced in a hotel! There are different bars to choose from, from the Mint bar with its cosmopolitan vibe to the Mezzanine bar where you can have a beautiful afternoon tea by the fireside. Worth a visit!

A friendly taxi driver brought us to The Westin Dublin from the airport, making the journey enjoyable with his lively commentary on Dublin. Upon arrival, the hotel staff promptly handled our luggage, providing a sense of security compared to our experiences in Los Angeles. The hotel's entrance and lobby exuded elegance, and the staff was helpful in accommodating our room preferences. We were delighted to stay in a top-floor suite with a view of Fleet Street. The professional staff assisted us with restaurant recommendations and tour arrangements. Don't miss the delightful sandwiches and coffee on the third floor, where natural light streams into the mezzanine. For breakfast, we dined at the hotel's restaurant, a wise choice over accumulating points. However, a charming mom and pop shop on Fleet Street offers a decent alternative, though not as exceptional as the hotel's fare. Different tastes in our group led to diverse opinions. In summary, our spacious room was issue-free, and the service was top-notch. The hotel's central location made it convenient for exploring Trinity College, Fleet Street, and most local attractions. The only downside was occasional noise from a nearby bar, affecting the location rating. Overall, we rate the hotel 4/5 for location, 5/5 for rooms, and 5/5 for service.

Hotel is located in the historical center of Dublin close to main attractions. The rooms are spacious, but the view from our room was just the wall of nearby building. The restaurant offers good dinner, but the brekfast buffet is somewhat limited.

Hotel and location fantastic. I went for the Christmas 2 day break Christmas eve was Fantastic. But the Christmas dinner was a disaster. Wasn't told it was going to be buffet !the staff were not trained to deal with so many people! Food was cold !no mash potatoes ! no roast potatoes no carrots! Breakfast was great. But unfortunately I won't be returning to this hotel for Christmas anymore.

We went for afternoon tea and had a blast. The food was absolutely delicious. We were even offered to take home all the lovely treats we could not finished. The staff was so lovely. Very present without being pushy. This place is a gem!

We loved at the Westin in Dublin. First, this is a great hotel if you want accessibility to the city center. We were able to walk to many historical sights from this hotel. Second, the hotel staff was amazing! The atrium restaurant is not to be missed. We had a lovely late night meal there with some Tipsy Tea ( a signature drink) and then an afternoon tea before check out that was just delightful. This Westin did not have the most comfortable beds and could use some new towels. However, 5 stars because I overlooked this things thanks to the amazing treatment we received and the lovely memories we have now. We were granted an early check in (as Platinum members) and a late check out which worked perfectly with our travel plans. During our stay in Ireland, this hotel was the most expensive out of 3 hotels we stayed at. However, the early/late check out and accessibility to the city made it worthwhile. We received water and chocolates upon arrival and at turn down. These were much appreciated. We would return!

Stopped here for a quiet coffee and sandwich. The Atrium was a beautiful setting. Staff were very friendly, but service was painfully slow. First coffee was cold, I waited 15 minutes for it so I drank it. Sandwich was freshly made, dietary requirements were well catered for. Second cup of coffee took over 10 minutes to arrive, at least it was hot! Lovely setting, but not for a quick visit.

My stay was ok, nothing special. The location is nice, but the rooms are pretty noisy and small (I had a room to the street) - my biggest concern is the service though. Somehow they managed to remove my booking from my Marriott App and account - I could then several times and 14 days later my stay is still not show up in my account.

We recently stayed at The College Green Hotel in Dublin, and although our overall experience was a pleasant one, there are a few reasons behind my three star rating. First off, when arriving to the hotel, we found no staff on the outside of the building, therefore finding their valet service was a bit of a hassle. We ended up having to circle around twice, before we finally saw the very obscure ‘valet’ sign, propped up against the side of the building. Once inside, the hotel itself is UNDENIABLY beautiful (along with their rooms), and the staff was superbly profesional and welcoming. Check in was a breeze, and the gentleman at the front desk (Roberto) did an amazing job at giving us a run down of the place, and even went as far as booking us a reservation at the restaurant on site (Morelands, more on that in a bit) for that very same evening. As with any other high end hotel, this hotel also offers a turndown service. If you can even call it that. All that was done for the turndown service, was the curtains to our room were shut. That’s it. We’ve stayed on other properties where the turndown service is a bit more than just that. ie: set out the slippers, prep the bed for sleep, etc. Moving on to the restaurant on site, Morelands. This was probably where our biggest disappointment came from. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with the perfect warm lighting one would want around a quiet dinner. The food on the other hand was, to put it in the simplest of forms, not good. That’s not to say all of their food is bad, but overall, not the greatest. I ordered their 12oz ribeye, medium rare, and to say it was rare, is an understatement. I’m honestly not one to send food back, so I didn’t. But notice I did. The next morning we took part in their breakfast, which was for the most part, included in our stay. There were two items on the menu that came with a “supplemental” fee. One being the Eggs Benedict. Why they would feel the need to charge for what seemed like the laziest attempt at an Eggs Benedict is beyond me. We probably, should’ve stopped there, but on a late night we were hungry, we decided to order room service from their late night menu. We opted for their pizza thinking what could go wrong. It wasn’t just bad, it was late night gas station, stale pizza bad. And I get it, the restaurant is a separate entity to the hotel itself, but there has to be some accountability here. At the end of the day, this all adds into the experience a guest has when staying on their property. In summary, would I stay here again? Should you? Sure. The location is AMAZING. Everything one who’s visiting the city for a few days would want to see and do, is literally within walking distance. But do yourself a favor, skip the meals there. They are absolutely not worth it. Honorable mention: the Mint Bar is awesome! Super cozy, and a perfect place to end your evening.

A perfect…. Nightmare! I was expecting a lot from this stay. The location of the hotel is excellent… BUT any all other aspects the hotel is a disaster. Our room (402) supposedly for two was outrageously small from the very small bed, if you stretch your arm, you can touch both walls, the service is a disaster : the room was not cleaned at 19.00. When advised the staff just nodded with not even a word of excuse. And of course was nowhere to be seen even if asked for…. Certainly busy to organise the mess! To put it in a nutshell , I highly recommend to choose any other hotel in Dublin but certainly not the Westin

Fantastic experience at afternoon tea today in the Westin. Staff, food, surroundings just top notch. The only tiny issue I'd have, is the low tables. Although very comfortable chairs, I spend a lot of time hunched over the table. But all in all, really loved it, such lovely friendly staff, couldnt do enough for us, and all the while, with big smiles on their faces😀 will definitely be returning ❤️

My wife and I can’t say enough about the Westin Dublin! We are in town for a week to see Ireland and got to stay here on our first night. The staff is friendly, and go above and beyond to accommodate. We got to the hotel early and our room wasn’t ready yet, but they did take our bags and called me when the room was ready to let me know our bags were in the room. The location is amazing you’re right across from Trinity college, not far from Dublin Castle, very close to St. Patrick’s Cathedral. I think the room was amazing. We stayed at The Plaza in Scottsdale for our wedding. It’s a very nice hotel in Arizona. My wife and I both agreed that the Westin Dublin is better. But it favorite part was breakfast in the morning. We booked through Costco travel so it was included. But if it isn’t for you I would highly recommend paying for it.

It was a great privilage to have experienced this Hotel of unbelievable character, in the heart of Dublin City, on the occasion of our daughters wedding. The staff were extraordinarily helpful, professional and kind, and could not have done more to make our stay there a lovely memory. The breakfasts we enjoyed in our room, were served on crisp white linen and the irish breakfasts ..were the best I have ever tasted!

We had afternoon tea at the Westin hotel Dublin on Christmas Eve. The surroundings are beautiful. Staff need customer service training. More variety needed with sandwich fillings, desserts were okay. Tea was very good. Was Easy to book, (have been for lunch several times, and staff have been attentive in the past).

A beautiful hotel. Fine fixtures and fittings. The staff are helpful but not too pushy. We had a deluxe room. Great bed. Huge bathroom. Think it was worth the extra €€ but hard to judge without seeing other rooms of course. Felt the good was average only. Not 5* quality at all. Would stay again though.

I stayed in this hotel on Saturday 12th December with my two cousins and it was amazing. From the time we entered the staff were so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotless and very airy. The restaurant food was delicious and there was a great atmosphere in the hotel. We would highly recommend this hotel and we cannot wait to return. Friendly and efficient staff from those behind the scenes to those we dealt with face to face. Breakfast and dinner the standards are impeccable. A special thank you to the reservations team, in particular Jeremy, who was more than accommodating after I booked a last minute stay at the hotel. In addition, a big thank you to the dinner staff Gary and Ana. Rooms are beautifully decorated. The restaurant is well laid out with social distancing measures in place which are very reassuring to see. Overall a great hotel and we hope to stay again in the future.

I attended a wedding, it was perfect, the staff were brilliant, the wedding menu and food was fantastic, my room was lovely. If you are planning a wedding, this hotel has to be recommended. The only let down was the breakfast. The buffet was lukewarm at best, should be table service and menus for breakfast. Maybe have a breakfast room for wedding guests on the next morning. However, there was nothing to fault other than that, and if I could I'd score the hotel a 4.7

4 of us had afternoon tea in the Westin and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel was recently refurbished and looks amazing- the foyer managed to look welcoming but totally awe inspiring especially with the festive decorations. Afternoon Tea is served upstairas in the Atrium where a selection of tables are beautifully dressed, the bar is inviting and there is a lit fire. We were shown to our table beside the fire and asked if we were ready to have our food freshly prepared. Teas, coffee and water was served as we waited. 3 tiers of goodies arrived. Sandwiches on the bottom layer - ham/ cheese, chicken, smoked salmon and egg mayonnaise. The middle layer had plain and fruit scones with lemon drizzle cake and the top layer consisted of a selection of chocolate cakes, lemon meringue pie and caramel/ pecan cakes. We had wine and cocktails during the afternoon and with the staff doing an excellent job of looking after us we had a lovely time.

We just shared a good friend's wedding reception at the Westin. May I say how lovely this place is. The staff at the front desk are especially welcoming, friendly and VERY helpful. The Westin has a lot of charm. The rooms are beautiful and the food is great

Recently stayed in the hotel and the staff were lovely and service was excellent but the standard of the bedrooms were not. When I booked I rang ahead to confirm that my room would have a bath tub in it on arrival my room did not have a bath tub I went and complained and got a new room. The bathroom was very dated and there was no slippers as mentioned there would be. I was also disappointed with the furnishings in the room our head board had 2 very distinctive worn mark on it and it looked grubby…. The communal areas were beautiful but the bedrooms did not reflect this, I also had another couple stay in the hotel and there room was more dated then ours.

Liked the place but was seriously lacking in atmosphere. The reception are was empty bar a couple of staff but is very un-inviting. Very cold with all the marble. Staff were friendly. We were here for afternoon tea which was served on the mezzanine floor. Very quiet on the day we visited. Cannot complain about the food or the waiting staff but again, it lacked a buzz. Piano player was good. Maybe the fact that was so few there, contributed to the quietness of the place.

Absolute Class! The service from the entrance to our exit was unmatched. The service in the dining room Moreland Grill and the cocktaips in The Atrium lounge was so good! The room was clean 👌 Only thing I didn't like was the menu at the dining restaurant had things which were not there. Like Rib Eye was unavailable and we had to have something else but nothing else really.

Best location ever in Dublin. In front of Trinity College and Temple Bar. Rooms are luxurious and the atrium has music and a bar! The concierge and front desk are very helpful and friendly!

Unfortunately a very poor afternoon tea experience and not a 5 star standard. Firstly our teacups were dirty, in the inside there were brown marks. We asked for clean glasses, and one of the replacements that was brought to our table had lipstick marks on it so was clearly unclean. We ordered champagne, and it was not chilled, it tasted like it had just been put in the fridge for a few minutes. Later we ordered prosecco, and when it hadn’t arrived around 15 mins later, we asked the waiter and he had forgotten about it. When the waitress was explaining our food, she picked up the plates and then was constantly touching her mask and then the plate. Finally we were given the wrong bill. While the food was pleasant, the experience does not compare to the Westbury, the Shelbourne or the Merrion. I understand that it has been hard for the hospitality industry to find staff, but the staff did not seem trained and the hygiene and service standards were poor.

Can't beat the central location, luxurious rooms and very attentive staff. Breakfast is top notch and worth splashing out on if not already included in your rate. The completed a major renovation during the pandemic and the lobby is now light, bright and stunning. Note that this a historical building and many of the rooms are interior facing a very bright/large covered courtyard. Rooms vary in size and shape. No business center any more, but they are happy to print anything you need at the front desk. There are 2 bars - one downstairs very lively and one on the mezzanine floor with afternoon tea, a gas fire and sometimes live Piano music.

Fantastic Afternoon Tea. It’s often daunting before visiting a top class establishment like the Westin. But there is no need to be here. The staff, the food and the experience was nothing short of exemplary. The staff really are the heart and soul of this iconic spot. We were immediately put at ease and we relaxed straight away. The chef and team should be proud of their work, the superb selection of sandwiches, scones and sweets were delicious.

We stayed at the Westin Dublin for 3 nights in April 2022 and it was by far our favorite hotel out of the 5 hotels we stayed out during our visit to Ireland. The location is excellent! It's walking distance to almost all of the main attractions in Dublin/Temple Bar area (Dublin Castle, Trinity College Book of Kells, St. Patrick's Cathedral, etc.), but we never had any issues with street noise or feeling unsafe. Upon arrival we discovered they upgraded our room to a Deluxe King and had a nice plate of sweets waiting for us in honor of my husband's birthday. The staff was incredible, very friendly, professional, and helpful. Breakfast buffet was impressive and I loved the fresh local honeycomb! Room was clean, bed was comfortable, but the coffee maker did leak water (woke up to a wet passport and vaccine card our first morning, but nothing a towel and some air couldn't fix). There are no outlets in the bathrooms, as with every hotel in Ireland, but it wasn't an issue drying my hair at the desk. All in all, it was the perfect hotel for our stay in Dublin and we can't wait to visit it again!
