Well, what a little beauty. I stay in lots of hilton Hotel and they can be hit or miss but this one is lovely. It also does the little things right also, like the free parking. Staff were very friendly and welcoming , room was lovely with a nice view. The bar has the football on and a complimentary drink 🍸 also help.

Had a great 2 night stay for business. The service was impeccable with fabulous food and great facilities. Used the spa with steam and sauna plus hot tub and swim pool. Bar and restaurant were very good, but what made the stay was the staff. I’ll be using this hotel again for all my irish visits.

Probably one of the best Hilton I have stayed in, but the consistency in Hilton service is why we picked the place and we were not disappointed. We stayed here as the first night after our wedding night - so fresh off the plane for our honeymoon road trip around Ireland. We stayed two nights here. When we arrived we were immediately greeted and helped with bags. They had our room key cards ready and greeted us warmly. The rooms were brand new and the bed was so comfy! At breakfast there was a good range of food. We also used the bar where we had cocktails and a cheese board. Cocktails were too sweet for my liking and the cheese was a little boring, however the atmosphere was calming and good. The location of the hotel made it good for a walk around the park and we did also walk into the city centre ok, but used taxis most of the time.

Stayed for 11 nights. Room was okay but it did get noisy due to work around the hotel. Drilling etc. Fantastic location with great park close by and access into city centre very easy. We enjoyed the pool with my 7 year old son. Nice seating area outside and inside for drinks. Staff were friendly and helped you when needed. Food was very poor. Breakfast food was so disappointing for Hilton standard and I avoided the fried food after the first few days. Lunchtime and dinner food was also poor as we expected fresher and better quality for what you pay for.

Really disliked my stay. At check in, I wasn’t recognized as a Hilton member, was given no information about breakfast or fitness facilities, and when I paused for the overview the person replied “do you have questions, or what?” Ok- so I go up to the room. 3 flies buzzing around. Very little hot water and the AC was not functioning properly. Despite having it on- room remained around 26 degrees throughout the stay. In the AM - I say “good morning” to desk attendant, she doesn’t even bother to respond back. The gym was playing painfully loud rap music which actually hurt my ears during the workout. I believe this gym is open to the public too. Overfilled garbage cans and too many peel and stick motivational quotes everywhere you looked. It felt dirty. At checkout, the attendant barely said a word to me and did not ask if I enjoyed my stay. Stay anywhere else in Dublin. This was an amazing property 10 years ago (loved my first stay here) but it is NOT anymore. Also, a cab on a Sunday to the airport from this hotel is 60+ euros, and don’t expect the staff to help you set that up. They don’t want to be bothered. I’ve been traveling nearly 3 weeks and a little kindness goes a long way. I don’t want to deal with staff attitudes and personal problems when I arrive at a property. The management needs to reflect on the emotional intelligence of their staff. This is the hospitality industry and sorry, this experience was unacceptable. Probably the worst stay of all five countries I hit on this trip. I was SO happy to leave there. Never again.

Spacious and airy restaurant. Nice relaxed atmosphere so our group could chat comfortably. Pleasant attentive staff. No complaints on the food at all. Very good indeed. Will definitely return

I was treated to a surprise night here at Hilton kilmainham, we enjoyed the cocktails before heading to our room which was spotless. Unfortunately the pool was closed but the breakfast made up for it and was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back

Nice hotel in a nice area. The rooms have very nice thick carpet, very comfortable on your feet. The bed was a bit hard to my liking, and the pillows where of the very soft kind. (I stacked 2 and still was very thin) I know this is very personal. I was a bit chilly in the room, and asked for another blanket, which was nicely delivered to my room. You want to check out the bar across the street, nice to have this in the area!

Absolutely love this hotel the front office manager and his team were absolutely very welcoming. They surprised my partner and I with upgrade and bottle of champagne which really made our weekend. It's nice to stay in a hotel where you can see that staff loves their job and they go above and beyond to see their customer happy. Breakfast team and gym staff were also helpful. Can not wait to come back again to my favourite hilton in Dublin. Thank you all. Kind Regards Boris

Fine hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff! Spacious room with a comfortable bed. The health club is fine with a sauna and so forth. Bear in mind the pool is not so much for swimming. Complete continental breakfast.

What can I say. Nice, spacious room. Clean, with a big (really big) double bed and a single bed. The bathroom has a spacious shower cubicle in addition to the standard bath. Air conditioning. Great restaurant with a good bar serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can use the pool (or rather the water therapy and the gym). Staff very cool, especially the gentleman with the moustache and the lady from the restaurant. Food good (unfortunately the kitchen was being renovated, so breakfast was served from a cold plate buffet). Price adequate to stay. Zbigniew Juszczak and Albert Buchta

This was a great stay. The rooms and hotel are modern and comfortable. The restaurant/bar downstairs is actually quite nice. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The only hotel of the six we stayed at in Ireland with a bed sheet, top sheet, and duvet. Very clean, very comfortable. A little far outside of Dublin but it suited our needs to start our Irish Jaunt. Would stay at this Hilton hotel again.

From start to finish, the hospitality exceeded our expectations. We were a couple travelling with a toddler. We ate at the restaurant, used the swimming pool and had breakfast in the morning and felt very looked after every step. Unfortunately, I didn't get everyone's names, but there was a lady called Mihae at breakfast and Paul at the fitness centre who were very helpful along with every other staff member we encountered. I think it was probably the food and beverage manager who I noticed kept a professional, attentive eye over the service, didn't get his name but he was also very good. Delighted with our stay.

We had a fantastic stay at the Hilton Dublin Kilmainham - we were in Dublin celebrating a big birthday and the team at the Hilton all made a huge effort to make our stay and experience extra special, from singing Happy Birthday at breakfast to the complimentary additions. The room was spacious and spotless, with stunning views over the city. The breakfasts were excellent - great produce and a great Gluten Free range as well, which my partner appreciated. We highly recommend staying and will be back when we visit Dublin again.

Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Very understanding as we travelled with our son who has autism. Room was fabulous so much room at such a reasonable rate. My son absolutely loved the pool. Location for us was perfect as we didn't want to be in the city centre.

Impeccable service by everyone we encountered! Such amazing kindness and hospitality. Even when we arrived to breakfast late, they took care of us, did not rush us, and even brought me a specialty coffee from the barista.

Hilton Dublin kilmainham is in need of friendly staff or simply a more professional team working this hotel. The room was very dirty on day one with food an dirt on the floors. When I call the front desk I was rudely told that the room was cleaned already an the staff will clean it tomorrow???!! I’m sorry but I am afraid that might be the wrong answer. But I politely said thank you an hung up the phone. That night I notice the air conditioning is still not cooling properly and the room across the hall is also having cooling issues. I do not recommend this hotel, an hopefully things improve here as this is unacceptable for a Hilton.

Staff were lovely and helpful. The menu had good choices. The only criticism was that they should have 2x coffee machines on at breakfast - the queue was long....otherwise the breakfasts were very good.

We use to enjoy coming here for lunch or dinner as a family even cocktails when we'd get a moment away from the kid's. We haven't stayed on vacation but we did regularly visit here as we live locally, but recently the last two times have been slightly disappointing.

The hotel room was a good size and clean. They have a pool that was never very crowded. The service was great. They let us check in early. They stored our luggage, took it out to our taxi, and greeted us by name. Location is great if you want to do Kilmainham and the sites around it. The buses are a bit of a walk to get to the city center. The breakfast was OK. It was edible, and they would make you something if you asked, but none of it was great. The lunch and dinner restaurant was very good. I would stay here again.

Didn't like the reception manager! His tone of voice and whole dispostion. I called the front desk about an issue with the room, the lady said she would call me back, sure enough she did not. So i called again, this time the manager answered and told me rudely they were busy. I went down to the front desk straight away and there was not 1 person in the lobby area only the receptionist. The customer service is just not up to scratch in this hotel! Also i thought the service was very slow in the resturant and again not good enough for a 4 * hotel. Gym is also far too small and was over crowded. All in all relatively poor i would have to say.

What a fantastic hotel ♥️ First abroad holiday with our 18 month old and decided on Dublin at last minute for a long weekend, remembering that it’s Stag & Hen Party Central we wanted to be a little out for the city but still be able to reach attractions by foot or by public transport, this is definitely the hotel for that ☺️ Staff were all incredible during our stay, knowing our 18 month old by name by day 2 after him playing within the hotel lobby when waking early and refusing to sleep until late. Nothing was ever too much to ask for, reasonable prices in comparison to being within the city centre. Pool was initially closed on our arrival but was great once it reached temperate for us to all have a swim and decompress after being in the city during the day. Easy access to and from the airport with taxi costing £35-40 each way which was much more reasonable than we’d anticipated.

The rooms are nice and clean and the bedding is really good. That’s about all positive I can say. The service is quite unfriendly and not welcoming at all. The staff really needs to work on their attitude! The breakfast is a joke. Toast is the only “bread” you get. Hot food is a disgrace - everything is processed and just heated up. There is no cooking involved. I mean, come on - how hard is it to make fresh scrambled or fried eggs. The whole selection is poor.

My wife and I had an amazing time in Dublin. It was our first time in Ireland so we didn’t know what to expect. We heard that the Irish are very friendly, and the staff at the Kilmainham Hilton lived up to that reputation. We were greeted with a smile and helped right away. The hotel is in the perfect location; not too far from the airport or Temple Bar. Rooms are clean and spacious, and the breakfast 🍳 is delicious with a great staff. Highly recommended!

Staff went above and beyond their call to make everything as comfortable as possible for us. We stayed here for 2 nights as house renovation was a little delayed. We had a 2 day old baby with us. The hotel was spotless, quiet and welcoming. Breakfast and dinner just perfect, we were waited on hand and foot. Definitely will be back. Highly recommended.

Popped in for the wedding night so we didn't have to return to our bombsite of an apartment. Were greeted by a very friendly front desk worker who gave us a free upgrade! Was so appreciated! The room was spotless and the view was lovely.

Good accommodation and wonderful quality of service by friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Service could be a bit more consistent but this was not too big of an issue for us. The gym and swimming pool facilities were nice and our whole family enjoyed their stay. Hope to return soon.

Could not recommend this hotel enough. Stayed here with my son. He loved it too. Dog friendly and my sons therapy dog was welcomed everywhere. Staff were so nice and couldn't do enough to help us. Loved it here. If you are staying in Dublin, this is the place to stay!

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel in the deluxe King room with balcony. I commend the staff for their cleanliness...the elevators were witnessed being scrubbed down....bed was comfy...breakfast was OK....but would recommend and would stay there again.

Great experience from check-in to check-out. Front of house staff polite, friendly, helpful and fun. The rooms are very well presented and maintained. The leisure facilities and pool are excellent. And the breakfast selection and quality was amazing. Cannot recommend enough.

Hotel was fantastic! The pool and hot tub was an excellent feature. The food in the bar was delicious. The front desk was extremely helpful for all questions and calling taxis. Extra towels and pillows were immediately brought to our room when called. Very pleased.

Beautiful hotel. Arrived early and the room was ready. Felipe(front office manager I think) was on duty at the front desk and so nice and helpful. Both staff on the desk were chatty and friendly and very welcoming. We used the pool when we were there very relaxing and the staff helpful. Spend sometime in the bar for some food before going Into the city. Again staff were on hand for anything we needed. Breakfast was amazing. You can even order pancakes and they were to die for .

We had a great stay at the hotel.the king size room is beautiful and big with a huge balcony.very clean as well and with lovely shower gels and shampoo. We enjoy the pool, jacuzzi and sauna. The stuff is very nice and helpful. Parking is available at the hotel and we paid at the reception. Thank you!

We liked it with our 3 year old as the family room was a decent size, she loved the pool and there were a couple of decent pubs nearby. Perhaps not so well located for some people as it's a bit out of town, but again, it suited us. Customer service was a bit hit and miss but the staff were all friendly.

We had a fantastic evening in Cinnamon restaurant after our civil ceremony. The events manager Chloe & fantastic staff made sure we were all well looked after. The food was delicious & service excellent. Our room was upgraded & had a beautiful view of RHK. Thanks again for making our day extra special!

Hotel was in a great location and staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The fresh breakfast bar is the best I have ever experienced at a Hilton property! After long days of sightseeing around Dublin this hotel was a pleasure to come back to every evening.

The Hilton is a high standard hotel overlooking the Gaol Museum. The quality of the rooms and services is high. In the morning, you can sit and watch the traffic bustling by. The dining room is grand and relaxing. Expect good things if you book here.

Very nice food and drink The staff were attentive and polite. We sat outside as it was a beautiful day. Its a lovely spacious area . When ordering drinks automatically glasses of water were also brought to us as was a great idea as it was extremely hot.

I have something to compare .. so the Hilton is the best hotel in Ireland. friendly and helpful staff. wonderful and varied cuisine. all at the highest level. wonderful receptionists. girls are just beautiful. Phillip - I just love it. manager, managers are amazing people. everything is provided in the hotel for your best rest. I recommend Hilton to everyone. This is the best thing in your life)

Very nice hotel. Rooms had TV, plenty of space and a bath tub. Excellent swim, sauna and jacuzzi facilities as well as a gym. Abit further out than the city centre (around 20-30 mins walk or bus) but very well connected roads and public transport. Highly recommend

  • 3/5 Danilo V. 1 year ago on Google
This Hilton is a bit like Ryanair, except the hotel’s staff is better. While being one of the cheapest options I could find in Dublin for a New Year, it compromises on many things. - no bathrobes, slippers, free water, kits with ear sticks, shower caps etc. - Air conditioning is either some kind of shared for the building and it works terribly, or the remote control is fake. It just wasn't working in our case. My 9mo son was feeling cold all the time, especially at night. - swimming pool, sauna, and jacuzzi aren't managed by Hilton and are a fitness centre to which you have access. Remember you don't have slippers and bathrobes. Now you need to buy (and wear!) swimming caps for the pool, you need to buy physical locks to secure your belongings. You need to book time. The swimming pool area is neither for swimming(the shape and size aren't suitable) nor for relaxation(it's cold inside and no place to lie down. even the fact that we already paid for it did not persuade us to visit it another time... But the staff is very nice and friendly:) Except for cleaners. They don't even speak English. And when they interrupt you speaking argue with you instead of leaving...

Good location, good quality hotel with clean rooms and a hearty breakfast. Spa area very nice and friendly staff. Overall very happy with our stay at this hotel and would stay again.

Stayed here with my dog for a night. Rooms are big staff are friendly and you get a welcome bag for your dog. The patriots pub across the road allows dogs inside. It is s good option as you can only eat outside with your dog at the hilton.

I like this hotel. Have stayed here on business trips a few times. Rooms are modern and clean. Staff are fantastic and food is nice. I did use the gym and it's way to small and cramped cause they have squashed loads of equipment into a small space but this would not stop me from staying here again.

The room was fabulous, so quiet. The bed was so comfortable, massive and so spacious! The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. Such an enjoyable stay. Would highly recommend! Will definitely be back x
