The
day
prior
to
our
arrival,
I
pre
selected
our
check
in
time
for
3pm.
On
the
day
of
check
in,
my
father
and
I
travelled
down
from
Northern
Ireland
to
spend
a
few
relaxing
days
in
Dublin
before
I
flew
back
to
Australia.
We
actually
arrived
at
the
hotel
at
3.45pm
and
were
allocated
twin
room
126.
When
we
entered
the
room,
it
was
a
total
mess
and
had
not
been
serviced
after
the
previous
occupant
had
left.
Towels
and
rubbish
everywhere
and
the
smell
was
not
great.
I
went
straight
down
to
reception
and
explained
the
situation
and
we
were
allocated
a
different
room.
Room
521.
Upon
entering
this
room,
we
soon
noticed
there
were
no
chairs
in
the
room.
no
chair
at
the
desk
and
no
secondary
chair
in
the
corner
of
the
room.
I
called
down
to
reception,
who
sometime
later
provided
us
with
what
appeared
to
be
a
dining
chair.
1
chair
for
a
twin
room
between
two
people.
At
no
point
during
our
stay
were
we
contacted
by
any
member
of
Hilton
staff
regarding
our
check
in
experience
which
I
find
very
poor
for
a
Hilton.
The
shower
screen
in
the
bathroom
also
leaked
which
resulted
in
water
pooling
over
the
bathroom
floor
anytime
someone
had
a
shower.
I
understand
my
father
made
reception
aware
of
this.
I
was
personally
embarrassed
as
I
recommended
staying
at
this
particular
hotel
as
I
had
previously
done
so.
Even
though
I
am
a
Hilton
Honours
member,
I
highly
doubt
I
will
return
to
this
hotel.
