A really nice hotel in the middle of Dublin City, interiors are really lovely and it's a lot bigger on the inside than it looks! Room was nice and cosy, all very clean and modern. Location is fantastic. Front desk staff really helpful and friendly, particularly Simona. Only issue we had was in Elle's bar where we had dinner. The food was good - beef burger wasn't fantastic but everything else was lovely. Cocktails are amazing. Staff were hit and miss. Some were really friendly and attentive and others were not so much. Breakfast next day was also great - lots of options and the hot breakfast was very good standard.

We stayed here for one night and were delighted with the whole experience - even during Covid. The room was lovely and spacious - FAB walk-in shower. (only little irritation was the room was "heat only" and it was quite warm, but they turned off the heat for us). The staff everywhere were really friendly and helpful. We loved, loved, loved the outdoor area for drinks before dinner. Breakfast the next morning was lovely. The whole atmosphere and decor was just so pleasant and relaxing. We will definitely be back.

Lovely modern hotel. Great value. Our room was spotless, well appointed and a generous size for a city hotel. I cannot say enough about the staff. We had a function in one of their rooms when we stayed and the staff were fantastic with helping us set up the room. There is no parking facility at the hotel. The nearest car park is at St. Stephen's Green which is about a 10 min walk away. The hotel also has a discount deal with the car park, so don't forget to get your parking ticket validated when you check out. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Best hotel in Dublin. We had our wedding here last year and the whole team were amazing, especially Tristan. Have been lots of times since for food and it never disappoints. Decor is beautiful, food is fantastic, and always a great service.

Attractive surroundings and friendly efficient welcome from staff. Room was chic and spotless, overlooking the garden with balcony. Bed was comfortable and we had a quiet night. Dinner was fine, breakfast was plentiful and filling. Lovely spot to enjoy a cocktail and only a few steps from the luas stop. Ideal spot for a spell sightseeing in the city with every convenience to hand. Super deals for girly meet ups.

Wonderful hotel, comfy beds and large rooms. Complimentary water bottles in rooms. The hotel staff were SO accommodating and friendly - nothing was too much trouble! Beautiful hotel lobby and flower wall garden. The restaurant food was good but they messed up the bill twice…check before paying!

Do not get the breakfast, read the reviews on this, it is vile. Go down to Dawson's street and get some proper fresh food in one of the places there. Be warned if the weather is good the rooms become ovens. Unless you are staying in the superior rooms with cold aircon, you will be boiled alive. No joke. I Had all the windows open and the fan going, no air coming in at all, had to go to the hallway to get some air. Sleeping was a nightmare.

This hotel is a gem. My wife and I got married here and have no regrets. It's interior is stunning. Every photo we have is like an art deco masterpiece! As soon as the events team showed us the dining room we fell in love, no other venue was gonna match it. We pushed the hotel on our numbers but man did they help us create a great party. The place was bouncing. The ceremony was on the terrace and on a sunny day there is no better backdrop for a wedding. The staff were exceptional. From Rachel and Rob in events, to the porters, everyone really looked after us and they even came up to our room the next day to wish us well. We stayed in the presidential suite as it's part of the contract and it is exceptional. Opted to stay an extra night. Our guests loved the whole day and we can't wait to come back.

I went to Elle's Bar and Bistro in the hotel for a Valentines day dinner, The kitchen was an hour and a half behind, we had to cancel dessert and leave as it wouldn't be out till 11:30 and we arrived at 8:30. We booked standard seating but were allocated a high-chair seating which was quite uncomfortable. The food ( when it arrived ) was quite average I got the superfood salad which was good and then the burger which was really really average. My partner got the wings and a burger and got only 5 small wings for her starter. The ambience was awful. We were sat between the bar and the kitchen, they had an incredibly loud blender which was almost always on, you could hear pots and pans of the kitchen banging and people shouting orders and finally if that wasn't enough they were blaring 2000's Party music at full volume on their speakers... I know romantic for Valentines... I couldn't even hear my partner across the table for me. Honestly the worst Valentines experience I've ever had and maybe it was just because of Valentines day / losing staff to covid but either way I would not go back or recommend to a friend.

The room was perfect! The room temperature, quality of the mattresses, bathroom and facilities were simply top. The breakfast was great too, and the service absolutely flawless! Rodica and Isha were the friendliest! Really enjoyed my stay and highly recommend the hotel.

Our flight was cancelled and rescheduled to the next day. The ownership did not charge us for the night that we missed. When we finally did reach this hotel, everything was perfect. Beautiful lobby, room was comfortable and decorated nicely, and service was top notch.

Fantastic stay and super warm and friendly. We loved it here and plan to return this year . The room was comfortable and housekeeping was exemplary. Very kind and helpful. Front desk was at our beck and call for any little thing. Yummy yummy breakfast and we had afternoon tea one day as well as lunch on another occasion. All the food was very tasty ad a shout out to the delicious soups. 😋 ideal location to get around the city and a lift for handicap. See you soon.

Beautiful hotel, the lobby is beautifully decorated and comfortable, especially at Christmas. Everywhere is spotless, all finishings look like new. The room was one of the nicest decorated I've been in in Dublin. Bed was very comfortable. Room is big and warm with an amazing Waterfall shower. Despite being on Harcourt St the windows have an extra layer so room is practically sound proof. No direct car park which although understandable is a slight inconvenience. I'd definitely stay again.

Very welcoming and friendly staff. From reception, bar & restaurant. Drink and food were well presented and steak was perfect exactly as asked. Staff professional made our stay a rememberable one. Room was very comfortable with excellent shower. Will be back again.

V good location V good staff Only complaint is if I had 2 chef's on cooking breakfast on a Sunday morning and they deep fried the sausage and the white and black pudding I'd be going mad. V well priced. Great reception staff V clean rooms

Accommodation is very good. Food in restaurant is tasty, but portion sizes are tiny and massively overpriced. Will avoid in future. Breakfast service is chaotic: providing a staff member to serve from the buffet is pointless and not Covid safe if customers are queuing there, which they were. Just let people help themselves and use your staff member to police a limit of two at a time, masked and distanced. Follow the science - there is no risk from handling the same serving spoons!

I've stayed in quite a few Dublin Hotels over the years and I think this is my favourite so far. I was coming to the city with friends to see a gig and found a reasonably priced weeknight rate with no idea what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised to find 4 star quality. Lovely, spotless rooms, a gorgeous bar and above all excellent service. The staff were all friendly, helpful and professional but honorable mentions go to Rob the manager who really went above and beyond to help us out and make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible and Andrea the lovely receptionist who helped us settle in. Give them both a raise please.

Leaving tomorrow after a 6-night stay. First let me say, they are working within the standards required during COVID, so no room service, and new staff are being trained. That being said, rooms are wonderful and modern. GREAT staff throughout...from the front desk, to the doorman, to the restaurant (and remember many are training). Special mention to Meg and Hannah in the restaurant and Gary from the front desk (who sorted an air problem for me and got me a great fan). Spectacular location. Would definately stay here again, and would love to see how it is post-pandemic; re that, I felt very safe here, as they followed all requirements for safe operation and opening. Only thing I would say is that they need to do something about the cooling in the rooms that are not marked "superior." Thanks to all for your hard work and friendly smile.

Whoever designed the showers in the city pod rooms should be drawn and quartered. They practically flood the room and are colder than a pants less polar bear. Everything else is pretty good though.

Most of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Good location, near great areas for exploring. I wish I could give a better review but unfortunately, we are up at 1:30 A.M. writing this due to a wedding reception. The noise and music are literally so loud our room is shaking. We called regarding the level of the bass and were told they would shut down at 12:30. By 12:45 the same so we called again and were told 1:30 everything would shut down. Not happening, called front desk to see if they had a portable ac because with the windows closed it is overly hot and thought the windows being shut would help but they are not answering the phone- it rang for 7 minutes and we finally hung up. We were supposed to come back for 2 more nights at the end of our trip but will be looking for other accommodations. If you can find another hotel I highly recommend avoiding Iveagh.

Great hotel, location and decor. Only negative was that the sockets in the room weren't functional until I noticed that the circuit had tripped. This was easily fixed. Otherwise the stay was comfortable for a short business trip

I first posted a negative review, but the place grew on me. The staff was friendly and looking to help, and the location is great with all the pubs and very good restaurants just one block through an archway away. The hotel itself has a very nice bar and restaurant and a decent breakfast. The downside for me is that it was 60 degrees outside and was 80 degrees in my room - no air conditioning and while certainly people may not care or can overlook that, I just think people should know.

Went for afternoon tea here & was really disappointed with it. Would not recommend it for afternoon tea. Firstly they had only prepared two afternoon teas for our party of three despite me booking for three. They made a huge deal out of this and made us feel really arkward and initially tried to just serve us two servings without saying anything about the missing one. To their credit the did prepare another one and did not charge us but it was the fuss they made over it that was so off putting. We felt very unwelcome. Afternoon tea itself was average and not particularly filling, the sandwiches also did not correspond exactly to what was on the menu. it just does not compete with the big 5 star hotels in Dublin offering afternoon tea and the desserts & pastries they offer. The setting was not impressive, in the bar, table was tiny and would not fit everything. Tea was extremely weak even after two hours. The service was not what you would expect from afternoon tea in a 4 star hotel. The second staff who brought our delayed afternoon tea explained everything on the plates but the first staff did not. Nothing particularly special about afternoon tea here. They also provide no children’s menu for afternoon tea despite me mentioning at booking a child would be coming this was not pointed out.

Room itself is okay but do not stay here. SUPER NOISY. It is right next to the train (metro)track but that is not even an issue. They host parties at the hotel and have their club/ lounge downstairs. It gets SO loud that you can even feel the trembling. It is ridiculous and I called multiple times telling them I can’t sleep and they did nothing. Only first floor front facing rooms (7-8 rooms) they call it superior king room and those rooms are the only rooms somewhat okay if you are okay with street noise/ hotel club noise and on top of that, partying noise from the nightclub across the street. I was up until 4am and street was full of people and taxis. I am a deep sleeper and it was the first time I ever complained to hotel. I travel 5-6 times a year and this is really not acceptable.

We just had the best stay! The SINGULAR downside was the clubs across the street are loud until about 3 am and an exterior room definitely hears them. Other than that the staff couldn’t have been more gracious or attentive. The meal I had at Elle’s Bistro was the best dish we had for the entire week long stay. Multiple nights were spent relaxing in the lobby having great late night food. Definitely recommend!

We had such a wonderful experience staying for the night on Saturday, there was nine of us staying and a few more dropping by for drinks and all of us just loved it. The location was perfect and the rooms absolutely gorgeous, with the most comfortable beds/pillows and not a bit of noise was heard for a hotel in such a busy spot. Each and every one of us enjoyed our stay so much, the breakfast was fantastic and the decor is just fabulous, such a relaxed, warm and welcoming setting. Every member of staff we encountered was genuinely friendly, helpful and personable regardless of how busy it was- and as someone who has experience working in hotels, I know what a skill this is and your team have it in spades. Just gutted we couldn't stay longer, can't wait to visit again!

Just returned from a three night family break. Comfortable rooms in an excellent, quiet location near most attractions (and some very good pubs). The staff were really friendly. Would definitely return to this hotel when returning to Dublin.

Beautiful hotel. Loved everything. Friendly staff, beautiful decor throughout, spacious, well appointed, clean, will definitely return if back in Dublin. Was well situated close to St Stephens Green, Temple Bar, and the Tram stop.

A mid size hotel in a good position. It is well decorated and kept. I like it a lot. Good value for money. My mark is 4.4 :)

We had a really nice two-night stay here. The staff were super friendly (apart from the bar staff but I think they were just really stressed...) and the general quality of the hotel, bar, lounge area is really tasteful. We don't normally stay in fancy places so this felt very special without too much of a hike in the price. The reason for four stars instead of five are minor things like the bathroom not having hand towel holder or toilet roll holder, so these just sit on the side and get wet. Seems odd in such a modern design. The tea facilities in the rooms are really limited. Normal tea and coffee with creamer, but no variety and no where near enough creamer for more than two cups of coffee. These didn't get replenished when the room was tidied, so we went to reception to ask for more. Two small bottles of water provided, which were replenished each day. The breakfast range was a very broad buffet, but the cooked elements left a lot to be desired. The sausages seemed poor quality and the mushrooms hard to palate. The fresh honey slab was a very nice addition. Location is ideal for exploring the city with a tram line nearby but most things easily within walking distance.

Thank you to all the staff for making our stay perfect. They were all so professional and friendly and more importantly they were very friendly and helpful to one another. 5 star staff. I have never stayed here before. I found on the internet We wanted a hotel in the city centre The rooms are clean and a good size. I will definitely be back and I would highly recommend. 🌻

We had a lovely time at Iveagh Garden Hotel which is located in the center of Dublin. We had a special suite for our special wedding anniversary. A very lovely card with congratulations welcomed us to the suite. I love that! It seems that the hotel is excellent for weddings, because we saw two in the three days we were there. Always nice to see people get dressed up for a special occasion. Also for your company it is a perfect place for your activities, big or small. There was a big event with a lot of suits. They seemed to enjoy themselves. We had a perfect midweek. We love Dublin and the location of this hotel is excellent! Everything within walking distance. We recommend this hotel.

This hotel is one of my favorite hotels we have ever stayed at on any vacation! The staff are so welcoming and friendly! Everything from the aesthetics, location, to service was phenomenal. We stayed here the other week for our 1 year wedding anniversary and met our friends. We loved every minute of it. You cannot beat the location. You are able to walk to all the tourist spots and then come back to the beautiful restaurant/bar area. We will definitely be back!

Pros: Huge room with tons of space. Large updated bathroom. Nice views of street. Great location. Cute outside bistro. Cons: Parking offsite, 3 or so blocks away which can be a pain if hauling luggage. Cost for parking. A bit of street noise can be heard. No fridge in room.

We love our stay at this hotel! The rooms were comfortable and so are the beds. So Location was great and although there was some noise from the clubs across the street it wasn't anything that we deters from staying there in the future.

Great hotel. Location was prefect as it was just outside of the chaos of the Temple bar / Trinity College district, yet close enough where everything still feels very accesible. Room was very clean and charming. There is a night club across the street that was active all night, but the double windows do a great job of filtering out the noise and everything within the hotel was super quiet as well. Staff was very friendly and we had a very pleasant stay overall. Would highly recommend

Absolutely adored a recent 4-night stay here with our 5-year-old. 10/10 would stay here again on any and all future trips to Dublin. The hotel is in a prime location but a few blocks removed from the hubbub so it feels like a respite. Lots of restaurants, transit, parks and shopping within a few minutes’ walk. The hotel itself is super clean, comfortable and stylish AND fabulous for our 5-year-old. The family room is spacious and comfortable (with a real twin bed for the kiddo vs. the standard fold-out couch). It’s stylish enough I’d come here without a child as well. Top-notch breakfast buffet and friendly staff who served an ice pop to my kiddo on check-in. Will definitely be recommending this one to friends. ETA: while our room was comfortable and air conditioned, learned from a fellow guest in the elevator that not all rooms are. Best to double-check when you book!

Me and my wife spent our honeymoon night here, in the Presidential suite. We absolutely loved the whole experience. I'd higly suggest to choose this hotel for your wedding reception. Everything was clean and the food, at the wedding reception, was amazing. I'd also highly suggest to choose this hotel for a romantic date with your spouse. Staff was extremely corteous. If I'd have to say something negative is that when it rains heavily, it really makes a lot of noise in the presidential suite.

Beautiful, modern hotel with clean, spacious rooms in an excellent location. I’m only docking a star because our room (and the entire 1st floor) was unbearably hot. We could not get our room temp below 26 C - the windows only open about 7-8cm so it doesn’t allow for much airflow even with a table fan in front. We slept poorly simply due to the temperature; otherwise, it was a great experience.

I booked a night stay here on Saturday night to treat my boyfriend who is a Frontline worker for our Valentine's day celebration to make it extra special as I had heard great reviews about the hotel. When we went down for dinner at 6:30pm, we were left waiting 30 mins before I had to ask a staff member to take our drinks order. 20 more minutes passed and I had to ask where our drinks were and why our food order had not been taken, which the responce from the young waiter was "what do you want?" in an odd tone. We didnt receive our drinks for another 10 mins and when the food eventually came out 20 mins later, it was the wrong order. After complaining and speaking to the manager, when we did receive our food it was very bland and could tell it was thrown together e.g. we both ordered seaweed linguine and my boyfriends had tomatoes and mine didnt and there was very little prawns or mussels and we were missing a portion of chips which we ordered initally. I would say this was a once off experience but last August myself and a friend walked out after 40 mins when our order wasnt taken - I gave it the benefit of the doubt and assumed this was down to covid but it is clear this is a common occurence now. Very dissapointing experience and it really put a dampener on the entire night as we were both really looking forward to enjoying a lovely night away and a lovely meal and expected top class service from a 4 star hotel in central Dublin.
