I
needed
a
room
for
one
night
after
attending
a
gig,
in
walkable
distance
from
the
venue
and
affordable.
Location
is
fantastic,
basically
everything
in
the
city
centre
is
walkable
from
here.
The
hotel
is
in
an
old
building,
so
floors
are
creaky,
hallways
are
narrow
etc.
Due
to
its
location
it
can
be
noisy
at
night
-
I
stayed
mid-week,
so
things
quietened
down
around
11
pm.
Ear
plugs
are
supplied,
so
you
should
get
a
relatively
decent
night's
sleep.
My
room
was
clean,
as
was
the
bathroom.
However,
the
shower
doors
didn't
close
properly
and
the
shower
itself
was
very
tight
to
get
into,
so
caution
was
advisable
when
showering.
Continental
breakfast
was
included
and
is
served
in
the
hotel
bar/pub.
It
was
quite
cold
and
noisy
as
early
as
8
am,
but
staff
was
lovely.
Table
service,
not
a
buffet-type
breakfast.
However,
no
non-dairy
milk
available
at
all
which
is
very
poor.
Not
even
soya
which
is
the
least
you
can
expect
nowadays.
Hotel
staff
were
all
very
friendly,
from
the
reception
staff
to
cleaning
ladies.
