Do you enjoy endless noise, disgusting rooms, terrible beds and an endless smell of toilet? Stay here. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It's a tourist trap and very over priced for the awful experience. STAY AWAY. Do not let the location appeal fool you.

I needed a room for one night after attending a gig, in walkable distance from the venue and affordable. Location is fantastic, basically everything in the city centre is walkable from here. The hotel is in an old building, so floors are creaky, hallways are narrow etc. Due to its location it can be noisy at night - I stayed mid-week, so things quietened down around 11 pm. Ear plugs are supplied, so you should get a relatively decent night's sleep. My room was clean, as was the bathroom. However, the shower doors didn't close properly and the shower itself was very tight to get into, so caution was advisable when showering. Continental breakfast was included and is served in the hotel bar/pub. It was quite cold and noisy as early as 8 am, but staff was lovely. Table service, not a buffet-type breakfast. However, no non-dairy milk available at all which is very poor. Not even soya which is the least you can expect nowadays. Hotel staff were all very friendly, from the reception staff to cleaning ladies.

So, I stayed here with a tour group over the last week, and I can honestly say that for the price, the location, the people working there...this hotel is fabulous. 7-minute walk from Trinity College in the heart of the party area of the city. The street is very busy; restaurants of all types ranging on all sides, banks (and atms) nearby, souvenir shops, cafes, massage parlors...all within a good 5-10 minute walking distance. Not to mention the food within the bar downstairs. For someone who is used to larger portions, they give large portions when it comes to the entree sizes. The only downside was that depending on where you are in the hotel, your room might be loud. Mine was closer to the bar next door. It's a bar town. It gets loud. There might have been a birthday party. There were a great many people (men and women) yelling I would suppose directly beneath my window on the second floor. The hotel does supply ear plugs for that reason. Things quiet down around 1230am. Other than that: five stars above and beyond.

The room we got was extremely cold, heaters wasn't working properly, shower was cold, loads of draft coming through all windows. Breakfast wasn't great, location is centre but temple street is very dangerous and full of scum like a third world country. Room was clean and the mattress wasn't bad also good space in the economy room so wasn't all that bad but if the room was warm with warm water it would been far better.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The only hotel room I've ever had where they supply ear plugs with the room, got no sleep at all the night before a big presentation they need double glazed windows not ear plugs. Bar connected with the hotel had no agreement with the hotel to charge to room service, so a beer and the breakfast had to be paid for in cash. GIVE THIS HOTEL A MISS at ÂŖ200 a night it's NOT value for money. When I complained at reception, they just did not want to know, and as we paid in advance, we had to just put up with it.

Make sure you get a receipt for your drinks!! We bought two drinks and paid contactless but didn't get a receipt. We then opened a tab for two meals and two more drinks each. The bill we got included the first two drinks we had paid for separately! The guy behind the bar wouldn't have it though and we didn't have a receipt so we got done!! It was a great pity because the food was ok and the entertainment really good, sadly not the barman.

A hotel that while dated has some charm to it. Rooms are in need of a makeover but the most urgent items to sort are the windows which do nothing whatsoever for soundproofing and in some cases cannot be closed fully. The staff were friendly and the inclusion of a continental breakfast was a nice thing to see. The table based registration is a little clunky to use without a keyboard but is a feature that is seen in many places now. Location is great for the city centre and Temple Bar

I've spent a warm and cozy night here, the staff was kind and welcoming especially blondie from the reception, she went an extra mile helping me out fixing some details regarding my departure 😀

Only hotel room I've ever had where, with the tea and coffee, they supply ear plugs, I had no sleep at all due to the noise and no warning of it being noisy I had a very important business meeting the next day and for over ÂŖ200 a night it was totally unacceptable, when we checked in the receptionist had to stump out her cigarette to go behind the desk to check us in and the area stank of tobacco. The so-called breakfast area, which is the pub next door, had no arrangement with the hotel, so breakfast had to be paid for with cash and could not be put on the room despite this the hotel still took a ÂŖ100 deposit for the night even though we had already paid for the room so apart from them having my money for a few days I am at a miss why they take this deposit. If you are on business, give this hotel a miss if you're on holiday. Think twice before staying. My vote is AVOID AT ALL COST.

The hotel is nice and located in the city center. It was clean but noisy inside the room. An ideal hotel for short stays.

Really conveniently located on Dame street. I was a solo female traveler on my first ever real trip and I felt totally safe. I stayed there then went to Belfast for a couple days and came back. Both rooms were great. They even had a fan, thank goodness. The only thing is you kind of had to slam the door hard to get it to close all the way.

I just recently spent almost a week here and the staff were amazing! They fulfilled every request and made sure I was comfortable. People complain about the noise, but you're staying in TEMPLE BAR. If you expect peace and quiet, look in to a less touristy part of the city. Complaining about noise in Temple Bar is like complaining about sand at the beach. They do supply earplugs just in case. It's an older hotel so the rooms are not updated, but they are perfectly fine and comfortable. One downside is that the kitchen does close rather early, so arrange for dinners elsewhere if you intend on any late night meals. The pub has live music daily and the staff go above and beyond for you. Highly recommend!

Possibly the worst night sleep ive ever had in a hotel! Constant noise till 5am singing, shouting, traffic, road works with diggers and jackhammers, whacker plates till midnight! And this was a Tuesday night god only knows what its like on a weekend?.... Paper thin windows which didnt help the noise problem. Very dated room circa 1980. I went to the bar/restaurant down stairs and was going to order some food untill the girl that was serving came to my table to give me a menu her ridiculously bad b.o put me off my food. Needles to say i wont be returning any time soon!

Decent price for a very central location. It looks like the rooms are in the process of getting a much needed renovation.

I stayed in their cheapest option. Would not recommend staying on business. There's a pub near by that blasts music loudly well past 12am, not ideal when you have to be at the office in the morning. I also went to the continental breakfast which whoever was behind the bar said was toast or cereal. I asked for toast and was then informed the toaster was broken, so just bread. Luckily they are right in the middle of Dublin so there are options. You get what you pay for, just didn't realize how little you get for â‚Ŧ120. The staff at the reception desk are nice though.

For this price it is a good hotel in the centre near the temple bar. Oke it is noisy but that can you read on the site. If you want a still place you can beter book a hotel out side the centre. Friendly staff good room and good food .

The room was very cramped and run down. The hotel exterior photo they use is not what it looks like today.

It was our second stay here, what can we say, our room was ok, location was perfect, breakfast and a few drinks in Trinity bar was outstanding, the manager and his staff were the best and most welcoming hosts, we were sad to leave, thank you for a wonderful few days and for treating us and our family so well, we will be back !! đŸĨ°

A great hotel with a terrific bar attached. There was live music every evening and the food was wonderful. If you want easy access to Temple Bar, this is the hotel for you.

Absolutely fine. Breakfast was memorably bad, but the staff were lovely

Decor a bit dated but room very clean. Breakfast a bit disappointing as only one choice of cereal and no fruit juice. Very central location though

Okay hotel with great location but if sleep is what you looking for this is not the hotel for you. Don't mind a bit of street noise but this felt as if there was no glass in the windows. We understand its in temple bar but you could hear every sound on the road. Rooms are tiny, clean but dated. Over priced for what it is.
