Horrific experience! Do not recommend, worst nights sleep of my life. First and foremost the hotel does not have fans or any form of air conditioning in the rooms. Whilst the temperature outside was a bearable 26degrees, the rooms must have been easily double that. We visited busy bars in Dublin crowded with people and at no point was any place remotely as hot as our hotel rooms. Neither of us managed to rest over the two night stay and were contemplating sleeping in my car in the car park because the sheer thought of returning to the room was too much to bare. When this was mentioned to the staff we were told that they did have some fans but not enough for all the rooms. They also said that it wasn’t expected that it was going to be hot. (It has been this hot everyday for over 2weeks and previous to that we have had many hot weeks this summer) Not an acceptable excuse to be unprepared. They said everyone had been complaining, but they had no more fans so nothing they could do. They were quite rude and unapologetic. Secondly the staff communication was poor. Making errors and being told that another staff member gave us incorrect information. The breakfast pictured shows eggs, hash browns etc which were not on offer. The food wasn’t great. We had an evening meal where they forgot to bring us chips with our meal and I was disappointed that there wasn’t a single vegetable available in the kitchen. The shower was leaking also. The only credit I can give is to the cleaners as the hotel and rooms were well cleaned. Other than that, I have nothing good to say. I wouldn’t let my worst enemy spend a night here.

Went there for the last leg of our Ireland holiday. It was on the edge of an industrial area which made you think it'd be a bit ropey by the external look of it. But once inside it was quite nice. Rooms were comfy and clean. The lifts all worked and bar staff friendly. A big surprise was how good the food was. Well cooked and generous portions. Well done Chef! 😁

Very nice place stay, clean perfectly, everything ready in the room. Ladies... Check the drawers for a hair dryer cos I'd no idea where it was til I was leaving. Food was great, plenty selection though would like more vegetarian options, everyone helpful and kind there. Definitely go there again. NOTE: Make sure you get a receipt for your payments... Very important!!!

As a small conference venue its grand. The noise transfer between the 2 work rooms is very intrusive at times. We annoyed them and they annoyed us. However we did manage!! Staff are wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. Lunch standard has improved greatly since 1st visit. The salmon was sublime with delicious mixed salads to accompany. Thank you Aspect team.

Stayed here for 1 night. Check-in was okay, but could have been better - the member of staff that checked us in made me feel like it was an inconvenience to him. The room size is very good - it was extremely clean and was very spacious - but it's quite sparce - it certainly does not feel like a 4 star hotel. The shower is brilliant - the pressure from the shower head is superb. Given there is nothing around the hotel - we had dinner in their restaurant. The food is quite good - portion sizes are huge - personally I think they are too big - but, that does make it extremely good value for money. Breakfast is good - it's a self-service/buffet style breakfast. My major complaint here is that the plates for the hot food were stone cold - so the bacon/scrambled egg, etc go cold extremely quickly. Overall - I was happy with the stay and would be happy to return.

The hotel is a nice clean hotel. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. The food was also very good. The problem was the room noise which you can see from the video. There was a breeze blowing through the whole third floor all night. We were in room 306 and it sounded like a hurricane. No joke! We went outside to check if there were any windows or doors opened in the hallways that caused the noise but there were not. Unfortunately we didn't sleep all night and it was very uncomfortable. We complained to the lady on check out and showed her the video. She was very nice and apologised. She said this is not a regular occurrence but we find this hard to believe as you can hear in the video the unbelievable noise. Also, even with the noise and wind through the hallways, the room was uncomfortably hot with no air con or fan. Hot as in sauna hot. It's unfortunate as I said because staff and food were lovely.

When we checked in we saw two massive unsightly machines plugged in and making a lot of noise just off the lobby on the way to the bar. Turns out they were heaters. Very noisy heaters, but when you passed them you got a big blast of heat that had a weird smell. Not at all pleasing for any hotel experience. Next our room: there was a large stain on our carpet, I'd be afraid to speculate on its origin. Then our bed was two twin beds pushed together, which is not uncommon and this in itself is not an issue, however the two beds had not been pushed together correctly so one side of the bed had no base at the bottom so when I sat on it I fell straight to the ground. We were unable to get the bases to match as it were so we needed to be careful for the duration of our stay. The room only had storage heaters and at first the room was rather cold so we had to turn it up to "max" but after a few hours of sleeping with this we woke with very dry air which was equally as uncomfortable as the cold. There was a towel heater in our bathroom but it wouldn't turn on, making the bathroom almost baltic all night. God forbid you needed a midnight wee! On check out the receptionist was more interested in her phone than speaking to us. All in all, although it was moderately priced I wouldn't return, too many bad marks against the place.

Only stayed for one night after arriving in Dublin. The room had most of the basics, except for shampoo which was unfortunate since we didn't pack any, thinking that hotels would have little bottles. We didn't try going to the bar or the restaurant so I can't comment on those. We appreciated having free parking. It is quite a bit away from the city centre but we were able to get to the city via Dublin Bus and there was a bus stop directly outside the hotel which was very convenient!

Very nice and clean hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. With our rental car we needed just about 15 minutes into Dublin city centre. The breakfast is really good and it's a full Irish. The only thing missing was a fridge in the room, but that's only for me who likes to have cold drinks. For our next Dublin trip, we certainly will stay here again

Rooms clean and spacious, no noise and warm. Staff were friendly, but a couple of reptionists could have been more pleasant. The main criticism is the breakfast, very little choice of everything. It really doesn't represent what breakfast should be in a 4 star hotel.

The staff was great. We had an issue & they were so helpful. We appreciated their concern & help. The room was a good size. The train is a few minutes walk from the hotel. It took us to Heuston Station which was near the Guinness Storeroom & Decorative Arts & History. We chose to walk as much as possible but the hop on/off bus has a stop near the station or you could take a bus. We would stay at this hotel & recommend it highly.

I am a regular visitor to the aspect hotel over many years. Always a friendly welcome Some of the staff have been there for many many years . My mother lily loves to go for lunch. The staff in particular Aziz and Kevin always make a huge fuss of her. Bringing down a pillow for her back the chef Karl always comes over to her and cooks what ever she wants no matter how busy he is We had her 90 th birthday in the hotel last Sunday. From start to finish the venue service and staff were amazing. The manager Andrea gave her a present of a champagne reception. Kevin is kindness it’s self he looked after mam and all of us so well nothing was a problem. He even helped putting up the decorations. Carl mr chef I knew the food would be good but you surpassed yourself and everything was amazing. You also helped with the decorations all the family were really impressed they didn’t know the hotel was there and all would visit again Thank you to you all and sorry I can’t remember the waitresses names they were brilliant and You made mams day extra special. Highly recomend this hotel a hidden gem and look forward to seeing you all soon Ps. Chef carls chicken curry is the best I’ve ever had a must try

Thank you, Jason! You were such a great help during our stay and we appreciated you very much. Easy check in. Jason and his manager (I didn’t get her name) let us check in early and leave our bags so we could go explore the city. I recommend getting the breakfast buffet if you didn’t book it ahead of time. Decent selection and even if you have to get up earlier than breakfast time, you can request a breakfast bag to be picked up. Our only issue was that the room was a bit humid/hot for us (we’re from a humid place) even with the window cracked. No ac since it’s Ireland and it’s usually breezy outside, but the window didn’t let much air in. There are bus stops right outside the hotel so you can utilize the Leap card to its full potential! Easily get to and from Dublin City center for your excursions.

If you fancy an after work drink, this is definitely not the right place to go. We were asked if we were residents and were told we could only have tea or coffee and no alcohol or minerals, because we did not reside in the hotel. We arrived around 3.30pm on a Thursday afternoon and the bar was completely empty. Shocking customer service. I would not recommend this hotel for after work drinks.

The Receptionists in the front were very open faced and friendly. The room was super clean, Very big, well decorated. The toilet was very clean and the shower was very nice and warm. In your room you can make tea or coffee there was an electric kettle so, you don't need to go down for tea or coffe. In conclution the environment was super nice Calm and comfortable. Abdulkadir

We have stayed in the hotel a good few times over the years. Reception. Staff were welcoming, pleasant and friendly. We were checked in with no delays.A friendly welcome from Kiran which helped with a quick check-in. Chelsey (apolagies if spelt wrong) also helped with requests when their. It was clean tidy and had got staff going around doing small touch ups to keep it all tidy and clean. Room. Room was clean and warm with basics provided like shampoo and shower gel. Hair dryer was low setting but did the job and ironing board was provided also. The showers in the hotel are some of the best I have had in a hotel with good pressure. Beds were comfortable king size with spare pillows available. There was plenty of staff around for when we looked for an extra towel. As it is a family hotel, yes you do hear kids walking by your room but this was quiet acceptable. While we were there the noise levels were ok. Restaurant / Bar Clean and tidy, orders were taken quickly. The menu has had items taken off it but from our experience it is smaller choice but better food. Recommendation would be the brisket. Bar area at times was busy with small waiting times but overall it was run well with a selection of drinks available. Breakfast depending on the time or how busy meant at times some items were missing but they were restocked quickly. For those that like a fried egg I would say ask the server as they do them fresh which I prefer. Families with kids was normal when crying but when do kids not cry. Staff. During our stay all staff were pleasant, welcoming and took time to answer any questions or recommendations. Good suggestions and we’re receptive of changes to suit taste. From reception staff to general staff they were helpful with general service, Kevin, Craig, Ash, karl and other staff helped make the stay a nice relaxed getaway. Facilities Parking Ample parking, WiFi, Hairdryer, Iron board, Some toiletries, Vending machines on floors, And ice available at bar. Overall a pleasant, comfortable break away in a comfortable hotel with a friendly atmosphere.

Nice hotel to look at, but, No air conditioning, had to have window open all night, and quite a lot of traffic noise due to that. The breakfast....Full irish....shocking! Cold tasteless bacon, watery scambled eggs and no Black or white pudding! Half the toaster not working and also 1 lift out of order. Needs improvement!!!!

Great location, so handy to get to and to get to the M50 and city centre. It was so quiet! I know I asked for a quiet room and I got it. Heard nothing all night. It was very clean with a really spacious room. Would definitely stay here again...great value!

Great room clean and tidy. Breakfast was OK but service in the bar area in the evening was major let down. Waiters were not friendly. Felt a bit robotic. On one occasion was served by very pleasant waitress. Had so called baked cheesecake one evening which I have to say was the worst thing I've ever tasted cheap/nasty . Overall food is poor quality ingredients more like GM

I found the room to be very basic regarding contents, although the room itself was very spacious. A few things I found very strange, we booked the hotel over the phone and gave card details at the time of booking. I was was informed on the phone that when we arrived we would have a 50 euro deposit placed on hold on the card once we checked in. I'm unsure what this was for. I was also informed that I needed to bring my ID. again, a strange request and I'm unsure to why they require this. I was very upset to be told by 2 bar staff members that I was unable to be given glasses from the bar to bring to the hotel room, and I was only allowed plastic glasses only. When I queried this, I was told that If they allowed me to do it, everyone would want to do this also. 2 glasses for residents to use within the hotel for the cleaning staff to bring back to the bar has never been an issue with any other hotel in my experience. I would have understood if my intention was to bring them outside of the premises, but I made it clear it was for the hotel room. The barman also called last orders at 11.10pm on a friday night. Otherwise our stay was nice. I would like to see more than 1 pillow per person on the beds if we decide to stay again though.

Worst hotel experience ever in my life. Person at reception needs to seriously think about her attitude, never met a more disrespectful person in my life. Hotel claims it’s a 4 star hotel but it doesn’t even deserve 1 star……. You’d expect at least a “hello welcome “ or anything but all I got was an awful stare and “ye” from the woman. Got my door card wasn’t even instructed where the lifts or stairs are had to locate them myself. Got to the room eventually and had one small electric heater which didn’t work same as my toilet heater had the fuse blown. Room was absolutely Baltic not to say the corridors felt like a mortuary chapel.

Our daughter studies in Dublin. We stayed here for the 4 or 5th time. As always it was a pleasure to be here. Super breakfast, delicious Dinner, perfect room and everything to a very good price.

I stayed at Aspect Hotel two weeks ago as we wanted a night away in Dublin. What attracted me to the hotel was the price and location, with a train station a one minute walk away to bring you into city centre can’t complain. The room was very clean and comfortable and the receptionist was very friendly at check-in and check out. The breakfast was what really impressed us though, there was a fabulous buffet which was better than expected for a budget hotel. Make sure to pay your €50 deposit in cash so you can get it back straight away rather than wait for it via bank if done by card. The train was €3.70 return :)

Good hotel.. bar and restaurant area has been transformed into a lovely setting since been done up.. food is very nice and reasonably priced compared to other dublin hotels. Breakfast i also found to be of a high standard. Rooms are basic but of good size and clean. Showers have very good power so that is definitely a positive

Decent short-stay hotel. 78a bus stops outside and the canal is nearby too, so access to the city centre by bike is easy too (just ignore the kissing gates). Staff were friendly and the room was decent. The main negative for me was that there was no secure bike parking facilities. Staff reluctantly agreed to let me bring the bike up to my room, but in the end I left it in the car.

Myself and my wife went a couple of weeks ago went to reception and asked if the bar was open to the public, the receptionist rang the bar because apparently “they couldn’t make their minds up if they where open to the public or not” That day, they where open to the public, we had one drink the staff were lovely and chatty, the waitress who was pregnant was giving me a run down of the area as we had just moved in , very sweet young lady! So we went today to have a beer and considering the last interaction I thought it best to approach reception and ask again and we were told only if we were eating, I didn’t even approach the previous time we were there. I run quite a few F&B outlets and bars in Dublin City , I can’t imagine repeat customers can be gained from this inconsistency. Saying all the above it’s a beautiful F&B room and the staff are very sweet and lovely. Consistency is key to this business.

The lad at reception was very down to earth and welcoming. Room was spacious abd spotless ... shower was powerful great shower. One small.thing was the Size of the bath towel very small compared to any hotel I stayed in before. Done the job though. Breakfast was good. Lots of options. Over all we enjoyed our stay. Room was lovely an warm. Nice to hace with the wind whistling outside 😁

Use this venue for occasional business meetings. Good parking (free) and easier to get to than the Red Cow, also much cheaper. Limited food menu but staff very obliging and helpful. Won't impress your clients but won't stress them either . Good WiFi and warm.

Best Hotel in Dublin for both value and service. The new Master Chef has made a fantastic change to the menu, food is amazing. All the staff are so helpful. Won't stop anywhere else in Dublin. 5 stars.

Stayed here for a night away to Dublin. Could not recommend this hotel highly enough. The cleanliness, facilities and staff were excellent. The bedroom was well appointed, beds very comfy, TV, shower, iron, hairdryer. Very good connectivity with public transport into the city centre. For 225 euro for the night I thought it was very good value. We will be back.

Hotel from the outside looks a tad harsh on the eyes but inside is lovely and modern. Room is a good size we had a triple room and it served us fine. We also have a front facing room so we look out onto the wicklow mountains which is a constant changing landscape with the amount of clouds that roll in. Would visit again

I stayed at the Aspect Hotel Park West for business. The amenities are all in order, and the hotel was quiet. As is happening all around Dublin hotels VERY frequently, I was given a handicapped/disabled room, counting this hotel it is the 4th hotel in 2 months that has given me a disabled room. And I was checking in at 5:30PM, definitely not late, and I booked the hotel weeks earlier. This is very challenging for someone who is tall. These type of bathrooms are very difficult to maneuver, as they are set up for wheelchair access. The mirrors and sinks are short/positioned lower to the ground and the floors are fully tiled in the showers, which is actually a falls risk for someone who is taking a shower while standing. They did re-accommodate me but only after significant persistence.

Very pleased with this stay. Nice clean, spacious hotel, rooms clean and modern and the staff are friendly and helpful and the food is good. Only thing I could say negative is a choice of 2 cerals for breakfast and no black or white pudding is a bit of a shame but overall happy

Rooms were clean and tidy, weather was hot and no air conditioning or fans provided in the room. Service from staff in the restaurant was very good but the food for both breakfast and evening meal was very poor quality. Also has large coach parties eating in the restaurant which disrupted service. Expensive and better hotels available

My wife & I need a home base to do so business between Dublin, London, & Portugal. staff work very efficiently and caring when adjusting our schedule looking at rebooking a room for us as we stayed here, then left the country a couple of times returned here. Jason F. and Aoney F are amazing front desk Staff. The breakfast cook rocks!!!! He no problem preparing our food just the way we liked it even if it wasn't on the menu!!!!

I checked in, and was given a room with a wet room, this was obviously an over site on my behalf, and when I went down to query the room, the receptionist told me that was what I had booked, and did not offer to swop me to another room. I actually felt like he did not care about my comments and I decided not to challenge him as there was 2 other colleagues behind the desk and I felt embarrassed because of the way he spoke to me about the room. Service in the restaurant was very poor. I put an order in for a starter and desert and starter arrived within 10 minutes. I was left waiting for the desert for almost half an hour I told the waitress that I could not wait any longer and to cancel it. I was advised that they had tried to deliver the desert to my room because they rang my room after my shower and advised me that they had. I am not sure why they did this because I had cancelled it due to the time I had waited. The manager expected on the phone that he was sorry for the delay, and I said there was no need to do this as I had lost my appetite due to the wait. I stayed in room 420 and also was woken up at 230am from noisy guests in the room next door, they were very loud and the hotel phone in their room was ringing at least 2 times. Really frustrating as I had an early meeting in the morning.

The room was nice even tho the front desk put us in the wrong room for our stay so our keycards broke halfway through the stay, we had dinner one night and it was awful the lasagna was like a pasta paste on top of some mince meat. My wife's pizza was also undercooked nearly raw, I would stay for the rooms and that is it avoid the food at all costs and avoid the drinks because the prices are jawdropping nearly €9 foe a single shot if vodka with a small bottle of lemon. I repeat do not eat or drink here.

Lovely room, nice food, ladies were really nice in bar and restaurant. Wanted to watch the match on the TV but couldn't hear any of it as it was drowned out by music, even though most people in there seemed to want to watch the match. Room was great except light in bathroom above mirror wouldn't go off, and mattress was 2 singles pushed together.. place was lovely and clean.

The staff were friendly, food was great and room was very comfortable and clean. The only complaint I have was that I have reduced mobility and the disabled parking was a bit away from entrance of the hotel and there were also two work vans taking up two of the disabled parking spaces which really annoyed me and also it said on the email if you booked straight through their own website you would get a complimentary drink if you ate in the restaurant which we didn't get either.Other than that I would stay there again

We stayed here as our daughter was having surgery in the private hospital Aurelia, we couldn't have been closer. The staff were so lovely and friendly. Our room was nice and clean and we had a view of the little bunnies running around in the grass next door. Food was also very nice ❤️❤️

The hotel met our expectations. It is not close to the city centre but there is a direct bus. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the centre. There is an extra cost for early check-in. No place to leave your luggage if you arrive too early. Breakfast was delicious.

Primarily a business hotel, it also proved a cost-effective way to visit Dublin and surrounding areas. Free parking and adjacent bus stop made it convenient for city centre or rural visits. Staff and service were efficient and bar food was good. No amenities in the immediate area though.

The location was good as far as being close to the train station. The rooms were clean. The employees were unfriendly. No welcome when we got in. Didn’t let us know where the lifts were or anything about the services. The breakfast was terrible. Maid came busting up into our room at 8:30 am with only one knock.
