I used the swimming pool day pass: it was around €7,50. You need to have swimsuit + cap + goggles if you want. The place is very clean, bathrooms and toilets very organised with storage (bring your locker if you need) Safe place and nice people around, most of them were mature people that went there for sport reasons. The swimming pool have many lanes, the fast and medium one people respect, but there was people playing in the casual one, not for sport ( they have other free lane were you can do it) and for this reason we couldn’t really swim there. But overall I could enjoy, I think swimming pool is around 20m length and the deepest is 1,80m, very clean and not cold. There are showers, you just need your toiletries and towel. There is one hair dryer available for all, the other one was broken.

I bought a year membership and had to leave after a couple of months. Waste of money now as there's so long left in the membership. Black mold on roof tiles and no ventilation in changing area so you are soaked with the pool humidity and can't dry properly. Would have been better as a train stop. Avoid and go to a better gym. I did.

Uncrowded gym with decent price right in the centre of Dublin. Machines are a bit dated but free weights are plentiful. Good sized pool, although can be busy. Sauna is great, plenty warm. No water allowed on the stove but if none else is in there should be no issue throwing your own. You will need your own lock for the lockers. Although they can also be bought from a vending machine there. No signing up or induction required. Just pay your money at the reception and good to go.

The worst gym staff that I've ever dealt with. In particular there's a young lad with black hair and glasses at reception who was unbelievably rude; it was like a comedy sketch where the staff are deliberately trying to lose business. Avoid at all costs.

Loving this place... Reasonable price. Only 30ish euros per month for both the swimming pool and the gym access which is amazing considering you are in Dublin. Evenings can be very busy though

Very nice place to have a workout, they have swimming pool, sauna and steam room. The service is cheap compared to other places in the area. The staff is ok.

Lovely gym in the heart of the city center, close to Tara train station. It offers great classes and the staff is very helpful and awesome! It is own by Dublin city council and it has all the amenities you need such as an Olympic swimming pool, sauna, steam room, weight room and cardio room. Affordable and clean! I definitely recommend it!

Absolutely ridiculous staff and gym facilities, staff is there for nothing. If something is broke, it takes ages to get fixed. If you ask the staff when will it get fixed, the reply is- i cant fix, you have to wait. Steam room stopped working and it took 3 weeks to go functional. Hairdryer stopped working, its been more than a month, and no one has taken any efforts to fix it.

Today one of the employees didn't let me to access cose I missed my card! I did tell her my name but she was asking to me like a garda where is your card I explained to her I have a card but just today I don't have with me, the employees was kind of rude and wasted time, that's ridiculous. Some of employees don't care they just have a seat and don't help. I have been 2 years but I cancel my membership.

Very good place to exercise 💪 and swim. It's quite busy every time I go there. It's not the cleanest place but given the volume of people there, I do understand it's hard to maintain. The pool water is excellent temperature 👌 People in the sauna keep spilling water over the coals even tho there'sa sign against it, I did call this out with the staff but they didn't take action. I suppose one of the reasons the sauna is not very warm, it's because it might have been damaged and the staff doesn't seem to care too much 🤷‍♀️

This is a nice little local gym and pool. The facilities are fairly basic, but the place has a really nice atmosphere. It is one of only a very few leisure centres in the city that allow you to attend on a pay-as-you-go basis, rather than needing a membership.

Went for a swim. The changing rooms and the pool was clean and it was nice and warm as well. Enjoyable swim. Make sure to check times, as kids aren't allowed in at certain times during the day

Really handy gym in the city centre. Used to go there for a few years, but COVID put an end to it. Would recommend as it is decently priced and in a good location.

Great pool, very clean, organized, affordable, and uncomplicated to join/leave, with no weird fees. It even has a small sauna for after swimming. The gym section is a bit small and limited.

Staff friendly and helpful. The gym is small which makes it very busy at peak times so expect longer waiting times for access to machines. The swimming pool is awesome considering that it's in the middle of Dublin

This gym is perfect for someone who wants to do a little bit of everything. It has classes, a weights section, running machines, a big swimming pool (with their own classes as well) a sauna, and a steam room. If you really want to focus specifically on one area it might not be the place for you. Because they offer a bit of everything, nothing is really specialized, and all the areas might be a bit too small for you. Pool info: the swimming pool is big, and has 5-7 lanes. Usually it’s not too crowded, which I personally like. I could be cleaner which is why I give it 4 and not 5 stars.

Bad luck. I found shit at the bottom of the swimming pool. Saw it at the poolside too when I told the staff to check. . . I asked the staff how they would prevent this from happening again. She answered me that it is difficult to avoid this situation in swimming pool

Great place to take kids swimming. Best to call ahead for pool hours as they vary and the website does not always have the latest information.

  • 3/5 Tania R. 5 months ago on Google

I like this place and I visit it regularly for their sauna. About 2 weeks ago I went over there and asked for the entrance ticket and the guy at the window informed me that the sauna is out of order. I genuinely felt stupid that I did not check before I left my house and walked about half an hour. So I double checked but the information is not updated on their website which is absolutely ridiculous! Won't be coming back as I never know if I won't be wasting my time once again. Very disappointed

Disabled friendly! The staff are helpful, always smiling and attentive. Plenty of wet wipes, sanitizer and disinfectant solution in the gym. One of the staff members, Jerry is a lovely chap to talk with- eager to demonstrate how to use the equipment and talk exercise techniques!

Shame so many of the staff are knackers. Their number one priority is to leave before the facility closing time. One girl was closing all the windows which had to be open during the covid restrictions while people were still working out. I informed them they needed to leave them open for ventilation. Lo and behold 2 weeks later the gym is closed because one of staff was covid positive and made all the other staff close contacts.

Cheap enough for a center with such a central location, I just subscribed for swimming and I love it thus far. It's not necessarily the most modern swimming pool nor the most fancy one it town, but it does the job and it's handy !

😠 The facilities are amazing and there is an amazing range of equipment available but unfortunately that's as far as it gets.
