The food was okay but the staff at the bar and restaurant was a disgrace ,very ignorant and not helpful at all, we were waiting 30 minutes for coffee in the morning and 40 minutes for breakfast as they were "busy" but only 4 tables were taken and then the food came cold. One of the waitresses even left us while we were ordering food. The staff at reception was amazing and very helpful, the rooms were nice and clean and had everything that we needed.

This hotel was by far the best, hands down of all 4 countries I visited and one of the best I have ever stayed in. It was absolutely a 5 star experience but the price was beyond reasonable. In fact it was the most economical of all the places I stayed. Which is crazy since it was the only place that had a full size spacious beautiful room and equally high end and spacious bathroom. I had to double check the booking cost when we got to our room to make sure I didn't miss an extra 0 at the end or something. This place felt way nicer then should be within my means at this time, and I do well. The staff was great, as was the location. The patio seating outside with tables was one of my favorite spots to sit back, have a drink, and enjoy the ambiance. Also, they have the famous "Belvedere nights show" right there inside the hotel so we were as close as you can get to the best show and dinner in town. I will return one day and when I do, this is where I will stay! Thank you for giving me and my family the best experience of our vacation, we still can't stop talking about it.

If I could give the belvedere hotel a zero I would. I booked a twin room for my daughter and her friend as they were going shopping in Dublin and wanted to stay over and go for food and drinks. They checked in and all was good. They went out for a few drinks and when they came back to the hotel before 11 pm they were stopped by the security guard and he would not allow the two girls into the hotel to share a room even after she showed her bookings and her room card key.The security guard left them out side in the rain for about 45 minutes Then the manger came out and told him that he has to let them in as they had a room booked and he was saying that they could not share the room. She called me from Dublin to ask if they couldn't get in would I be able to go pick them up from kildare.I called today to make a complaint and there was no manager on duty to take my complaint I would not recommend this hotel and would advise anyone to be careful on booking this place. (I have called the hotel everyday to speak to the manager about what happened and she has not called me back to explain there side of the situation. Obviously she doesn't want to explain her self to me as she knows that they are in the wrong. The management have my number if they would like to call me back.)

While the hotel itself is a bit outdated, it is still a good place to stay. The bed is comfortable and the rooms are clean. We were here for a week and since room service is not available because of Covid, the staff made sure we have all our needs, from towels/coffee etc. Breakfast service is also very good. Overall you get your money's worth.

I had a great time here :) The location of the hotel is very handy, not too far from O’Connell Street. The staff were very friendly, and everyone was adhering to the Covid guidelines. The room itself was very nice. Clean and quite spacious. I’d definitely recommend coming here.

The hotel in itself is nice but some things aren't at all. 1. The breakfast: they charge 12euros per person and I can honestly say that it was terrible, all the food was bad quality and almost uneatable, in my opinion. The hot breakfast was the worst and you can get something way nicer somewhere else. 2. Whilst the rooms in itself are nice, they give you 2 rolls of toilet paper and there were stains on the bed sheets which is unacceptable. On top of this, the roof in the bathroom started leaking on our floor. They did change us rooms though which was nice. For some reason it is also quite a noisy place, with a lot of banging during the night and strange noises. 3. The hotel in itself is quite far from the centre, you have to walk a good 15-20min which isn't the best if you are only staying a few days in Dublin. 4. Finally while the hotel in itself is 'nice' and staff quite friendly there are multiple things that aren't acceptable for the price you are paying.

Great choice for your stay in Dublin. The city center is within walking distance. There are plenty of shops, supermarkets and pubs around. The room was clean and nice, the only thing missing was some kind of a wardrobe or drawers to put your stuff into. The bathroom was clean and had everything you need, soap, shampoo, plenty of towels. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good, although slightly repetitive if you were to stay for longer - still, everything we had tasted delicious and there was always enough even when we came later. There is a bar you can chill in in the evenings with, as well as Irish nights with some traditional music. Overall a lovely experience, would definitely recommend.

We stayed here a few months back with my daughter when we had to go to Temple Street for a routine check up the hotel offers a discount for that reason which was unknown until the week of. I rang to ask about late check out which is €20 an hour after 11am and they gave us 3 hours for free to make sure we had somewhere to leave everything we had to bring for our child while in our appointment the hotel is spotless and very central and quiet.

One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. Price-quality ratio just doesn't exist. Exorbitant price for the quality of the hotel. They mask the lobby which is beautiful compared to the rest of the hotel which is very old, unhygienic and extremely poor breakfast. Rooms without air conditioning. Window facing a place with machines that made noise all night: impossible to sleep with the noise and heat, since the window had to be closed. Not recommend.

Smoke and mirrors. Place looks nice on the outside, lobby, and restaurants. But it's all a front for a dump. Rooms are tiny. Fire escapes are blocked. No desk. No counter in the bathroom. I've never paid more for less. Not worth the money they charge.

Loved my stay. Room was amazing. The lady at reception was brilliant and efficient and great craic also. She even was able to book us a taxi when we left. She got us a floor room (we smoke and wanted a handy way to get to front door and she was brilliant about it x) and I cannot complement her enough. Only complaint was I forgot my key and went outside for minute. Told my friends who I was staying with on the night to grab my breakfast that I'd be in a second as I had to take a call. Walked in and told the girl who was on breakfast reservations as you walk in that my friends where just around the corner. She wouldn't let me as I hadint a key. My friend heard me an thank saved me. But she had told the girl to expect me. I'd explained to the girl that they where in the breakfast room. I could hear them. She could of asked them. 🙄 anyways. Breakfast was amazing. Coffee was amazing and stay bar that little moment was amazing. 5 stars all the way.

We loved our stay here! Massive thank you to Elena and Vaida, also a huge thank you to the manager of the hotel, unfortunately I didn’t get his name! - we hope you read this! We had a slight hiccup with our room (due to renovation works - which just to point out couldn’t be helped and we completely understood!) but the staff was INCREDIBLE! They very kindly was able to change and upgrade our room and also gave us a complimentary breakfast on both days of our stay! I injured my finger slightly due to me being extremely clumsy and the staff was very attentive and immediately got me a bandage and ensured that I was okay! The room and bathroom was so tidy, very modern, we loved how we could stream our phone to the TV. Great appliances in the room (iron, hairdryer, soaps, fridge and safe - just to mention a few) and we had a lovely view. The breakfast both mornings was great too, very hot & fresh (I’m really going to miss the sausages) we could not fault this hotel at all. Not to mention this hotel was in the most convenient place, it was a 5 minute walk into the town centre and no longer than 20-25 minute walk to the museums/ bars. The hotel itself was immaculate, with the renovation works going on the hotel itself was extremely well maintained and great service provided and the hotel itself was very fairly priced. We will be definitely be choosing this hotel again for our next stay, we cannot wait to see the completed works and the staff again!

Hotel was beautiful. Location wasn't great. A good 10 mins walk to main Street and the river. Rooms serviced every day. Guinness in the hotel bar was the cheapest we could find. Breakfast was brilliant. Had an evening meal in the hotel , again, cheaper than the pubs and restaurants. Good food too. All in all, apart from the location, couldn't fault it. Reception staff lovely and very helpful

I can't recommend this hotel enough, the rooms were a good size, hotel clean and staff really friendly but for me it was all the little things they did. Banner on the outside welcoming all the Garth Brooks fans. Changing the menu's so they are all relating to Garth Brooks. Little gifts in the room (rain poncho and water bottle). It was such an amazing atmosphere, they made you feel so welcome. 10 minute walk to Croke Park. We Will definitely be back

Mark at reception was very helpful. The restaurant staff also made efforts. The only complaint would be that the buffet wasn't great for vegetarian or ppl with religion-based dietary restrictions. Beef, pork and other non veg items were kept right next to the veg items and the spoon / ladle to take the same was common! Hotel was otherwise very clean.

Confusion at check in didn't give me confidence that this stay will be an uneventful stay. Managed to check in to quite a small room (301) and right next to the Lift Door - yes a lot of traffic and noise right outside my room. Room was OK but was tired and needs redecorating and re-carpeting. Went down stairs to the bar area and ordered drinks which again, confused the bar lady. Reviewed the menu for the restaurant - very limited, uninspiring to decided to eat out. Breakfast in the morning was very poor - buffet Breakfast with cold bacon, pale looking scrambled eggs, again cold, very poor quality sausage... I didn't attempt to eat anything else - all that for 14.00 euros. Please invest in quality control and train your check in staff to check customers in smoothly and quickly.

Very well run hotel with beautiful decor. Our room was spacious, spotless and adequately heated. The staff at the front desk and the bar were very friendly and helpful. I look forward to my next trip to Dublin as I will be staying at the Belvedere Hotel.

Nice clean hotel with excellent service and nice staff. Little space to store clothes in the room, it was okay for three nights, but keeping everything in the suitcases would have been tedious for longer. Breakfast was okay, standard self service. Some egg variations would have been nice. You can get everywhere fast, Central bus/team station right across the corner. Unfortunately overall the neighborhood was not good, lots of empty storefronts, garbage in the streets, drunk people at noon, weed smoke coming in the windows facing the back alley. I had a bad feeling going back to the hotel after dark.

They hotel is beautiful but our room had no air conditioning no toilet rolls they evening meal was not what we had expected very small portion. Soup was very small amount meal itself was small. Then breakfast we were not impressed with as all they food was stone cold all they grill food was cold. Then table chairs we were put sitting at there was vent over my friends on they inside and water was coming down on top of them all they time on to table on there chairs and food and also down on there heads and arms not good chairs near window at they back we sat. Sorry room was lovely but rest not great beds not very comfortable either.

A very clean and upmarket feeling hotel with friendly and professional staff. Location was great, within reasonable walking distance to the Temple Bar area. Four of us in one room made it a little tight but the beds were comfortable and linens crisp and clean. Although the bathroom was small, the shower was nice and big, with a rainshower head and handheld hose. A professional hairdryer was a very welcome surprise. And the Nespresso machine made making coffee in the room very easy. The breakfast buffet is a must!

Nothing to write home about. Our first trip to Dublin. We stayed one night here and was disappointed due to the price 251 (euro) of the puny size room. Website photos can be misleading and this one is. Because ours was a late arrival, 20:30 and a hellish 36-hr travel experience, all we wanted to do is unload our bags and find pub grub. The road was too puny for two adults and two carry-on bags. Fortunately we stayed only one night. I've stayed in B&Bs that were more accommodating with better value than here. The one redeeming quality was the pleasant front desk staff who welcomed us. Date of stay: June 2023

For me this was a great location. Ten minutes to walk to trinity College, and 14 to temple bar area. Off the main strip so it was quiet at night, several other boutique hotels on that street as well. The service was great and the bedding was comfortable.

The service and location at this hotel is absolutely phenomenal. Caroline from Reservations really made a big difference to my deciding on this hotel. Her help and service .... Amazing.... The reception staff are really welcoming and helpful and polite. Good location and great Asian restaurants close by ;) one MINUS is there should be a lamp at the desk with the mirror. It's very dark and has a mirror and we cannot use it for work or putting make up on.

Good room, good breakfast. Mark in reception went the extra mile in helping us to sort a problem. He was polite, helpful and incredibly helpful, a real credit to the hotel. He made the stay.

Staff were very-rude. We were left outside in the rain as the security guard wouldn’t let us back in even though I showed him all my details on bookings. I rang my father very upset has the security guard wouldn’t let us back into our room. It was late at night so myself and my friend were scared as it’s our first time in Dublin alone. My father had rang the hotel about this but no manager was on site when he rang she was meant to ring us back and still hasn’t got back to us. I would not recommend this hotel to any young people as myself (21) was treated so disrespectfully by the security guard.

Really friendly helpful staff.... Allowed us to check in at 11am as room was free, got us a taxi to our event.. No hassle. Bedroom lovely, genourous size, great shower, place nice and clean. TV in our room didn't work, although staff tried to fix it.. Offered to change our room for 2nd night,. as we declined offered us vouchers for breakfast and a voucher for a drink at the bar... We were happy to accept and were pleased with their efforts. Breakfast on Sunday was a little chaotic, they were short staffed and ran out of food... But have to say the staff remained polite and as helpful as possible... Which is a big plus... Everything will take a while to regulate after Covid. We had meal one evening.. Very well priced and good food. Only complaint, we wanted to sit in bar area to watch sport on TV (as we had none in our room) but the bartender wouldn't allow us... Feel that should be changed.. Bar food?? Overall very good hotel, good location, well priced and biggest plus very nice staff.. . Well done. Will be back!

Excellent service, rooms are clean and spacious, we arrived earlier that they expected but they did our checked in really quick and they had a room ready for us, location is good because is 2 blocks from downtown, so everything is close to you (you can walk everywhere), bar was amazing, we were really glad to chose this place in our first visit to Dublin.

Hotel in a good location, excellent staff behavior. The hotel is run down or at least some rooms, very old windows that dont even open and the breakfast needs to be changed completely as nothing there has any taste. We enjoyed the trip in Dublin, however expensive hotels overall

I've attended a meeting with a business partner of mine that stayed at the hotel recently. We needed some quiet space and a couple of coffees. I came across Sylvia and another girl (Vide?) at the reception area. I had some questions but they were too busy chatting and having a laugh to acknowledge me. Eventually I've walked up even closer and asked If I could get some help, both were visibly annoyed by me interrupting their conversation. Sylvia seemed to look down on me, making me feel uncomfortable, like if she is the important one and I'm bothering her (hospitality?). Anyway, another girl appeared and I got what I needed. Unfortunately Im not sure of her name, an Irish girl (Dana?). I've learned that Sylvia is an executive manager in that place?! absolutely shocking. Lack of professionalism and attention to clients. Maybe she had a bad day although she had a good laugh. After the meeting I've met them both again at the corner outside the hotel where they were having a cigarette and a rant, gave me a certain evil look while I've passed by leaving the hotel. Wouldn't recommend the place for business meeting and won't recommend it for my future business partners for stay, although location and fitout is fantastic.

I loved this place, it was so cozy. Elena, the receptionist was so helpful and made sure we knew all the good places to visit, my sister has mobility issues and she made sure we got a room with a bathtub. All the staff there was welcoming and nice. Breakfast was nice, with many choices and they even filled my water bottle everyday before I left in the morning. I'll definitely come back

No residents bar, poor staffing no friendly atmosphere. We where sent across to another hotel to get a drink and then told to go back to our hotel with our drinks very strange. Either way I won't be back there 😕
