Delicious food! We visited for lunch at a weekend and we're lucky enough to take one of the last tables without booking. The place is huge so you may also get lucky if you don't book ahead for a weekend lunch. This restaurant has a massive variety of vegan and vegetarian options - with over half of the menu comprising of meat free options which is fantastic! Between my husband and me we got one meat and one vegetarian brunch and honestly the vegetarian option was the best! All of the food and drinks arrived promptly though we did have a little trouble paying the bill! Overall we really enjoyed our experience here and I would recommend a visit!

A nice place for taking pictures rather than eating. The meat ball has a very strongly goat/lamb meat smell… Not sure what it is. Not all of people can stand it. Pork is better. The staff take us 10 euros for large table service fee(more than 5 people) without telling us in advance. It is the reason I gave one start. I don’t know whether it is common for all the restaurants in Dublin. You know, I prefer eating separately for saving the money…😅 It is a very busy place. Many people come as it is famous. I know they already treat this for granted. Also looking by what they replied me as followed, I confirm it. 😂 They seems tell me: “If you do not like the food, it is your own problem. Our food is fresh. If you did not to read every line in the menu carefully , it your own problem. Not ours.”

Great atmosphere and everything looks nice, but that's where the nice things end. The food is very bland (in case of savoury dishes) or overpoweringly sweet (french toast). All items sound amazing on the menu and look lovely in photos, but the taste doesn't match it. We also had to wait a very long time for our meals. Staff was nice, but clearly not enough people. I highly recommend you do a booking if you do decide to come here to make sure you get a table as the place is very popular.

I'm disappointed to say that my experience at this restaurant was quite a letdown. We chose this charming spot for brunch with friends, enticed by its promising menu featuring a variety of dishes, including vegetarian options. The menu indicated a special promotion: a discounted price for a main course and a drink. However, it failed to mention the restriction on serving alcoholic beverages before 12:30 PM on Sundays. When we placed our order, we unwittingly included alcoholic drinks. After a while, another waitress informed us that we had to change our order because alcoholic beverages couldn't be served. We complied, but when the bill arrived, the alcoholic drinks were still on it. This was puzzling and frustrating. If the restaurant knows it can't serve alcohol, it should not have been on the menu or the order in the first place. Moreover, my choice of babaganoush was disappointing. Instead of the classic babaganoush, I received a simple dish of roasted eggplant. Despite these issues, the food was decent. However, the overall experience was marred by the confusion and lack of attention to detail. I hope the restaurant addresses these concerns, as clear communication and accuracy are vital for a positive dining experience. Here's to hoping for a more seamless experience in the future.

Pros: Lebanese-style Chicken Wings was delicious and it had a different taste in comparison to other chicken wings we had tried; and it has delicious side sauce but the salad wasn't good at all + Chicken Fatteh was really good and different; especially because of its sauce + Beef Koftas was good + Lamb Cutlets is kind of steak and was tasty but fatty + Seasonal Hummus was different and tasty; the bread was scarce + Bohemian Lager beer was really really good + Le Petit Gascoun wine was great + Nice staff + Beautiful interior space especially the lighting + there wasn't a time restriction for using the table Cons: Shirazi Salad is not really like the Persian Shirazi Salad; totally different + Price is a bit high + One of the wine glasses wasn't clean and there was a dried wine stain on it + Know that a discretionary 10% service charge is applied to tables of 4+

Great atmosphere. Food presentation was beautiful but the flavors didn't excatly add up for me. The staff were very kind and welcoming. Reasonable pricing and a well designed menu. Dublin, Ireland

Wow! Very delicious food and very friendly staff. Ordered the vegan mezze tray and everything on this plate was extremely good! Also ordered the cheesecake to try and it was so delicious and not too heavy and sweet. There’s a lot of room inside the restaurant, so even though we went on a Sunday noon, we found a place to sit. I can’t wait to come back for more and maybe even purchase their cookbook!

Amazing middle eastern food. Many vegan/vegitarian options available. The place and the ambiance is very beautiful. It is usually super crowded during the brunch time, especially on the weekends. I recommend booking the table in advance. Must try in a "brunch" category in Dublin.

I was always very curious because I was always walking down the street and it was always crowded. I decided to kill this curiosity on a Sunday for brunch, at the entrance we were greeted by a very cheerful and lively waiter with a unique style, soon we were seated at our table and were attended to promptly. several options of pastry's, coffees, cold drinks... the brunch menu is not extensive but caters for all tastes and palates, everything is very well described, whetting your appetite. I highly recommend the porchetta or the Moroccan coffee.

A nice restaurant with good staff and nice ambiance. The food quality is ok, and the pricing is decent. However, overall we felt there was comparatively less choice in terms of food. Also some of the items we saw were a bit off putting - say bottled orange juice for a mimosa instead of fresh and so on. Overall a decent place to dine with friends for a brunch.

The atmosphere of this spot was the best part of my brunch visit. Bustling and full of well-dressed people with a hipster chic vibe, it was a great and warm atmosphere to have brunch in. The service was disjointed and sporadic with our group having the flag down servers a few times when in need of things. And the food was sadly quite disappointing. The menu read like an interesting, eclectic and high end brunch spot but in execution our dishes were bland. My seasonal salad plate but dull, the fruit scone mediocre and the pulled pork sandwich was also mediocre. I would recommend the hot sauce however as we ordered it as a side and it was delicious. We came at peak brunch hour and had a reservation and would recommend making on as the place was packed.

This establishment is very well equipped and has a great vibe. It was busy but not full on a Tuesday late morning. We went for a breakfast and found a super vegan oat milk chai latte. Their regular coffee is also excellent and they chose a great house blend. The food was a little disappointing. They have good flavours but the execution could be better. The chicken sandwich had great bread and was really nicely marinated, but the chicken was very cold out the fridge. It was a temperature that didn’t fit with the other components and detracted from the taste. It came with a choice of soup or salad, I option for a soup which was perfectly tasty and a nice touch. There were not many vegan options but they did make their regular poached egg dish with more veggies instead of the eggs. It was a nice thought but it didn’t really work. As a large place that was a first stop on the Netflix show “somebody feed Phil” I would have expected the exotic flavours to be executed with a little more finesse. I would recommend it to someone as a place for a nice breakfast that’s worth the money, but I think anyone visiting because of the show might be slightly underwhelmed.

We had brunch here without a reservation, only had to wait (inside) for less than 10’. The place has a nice vibe. My plate of choice seemed more interesting in the menu than in reality. The hot chocolate was really nice though. Not sure If I would visit second time.

So delighted to happen across this restaurant today for lunch. Perfect sharing portions, interesting flavours of the Middle East. The Lamb Shawarma was perfect; the pickles balancing out any richness. Too often in Ireland it’s the same old menu everywhere. Brother Hubbard knows spice & flavour. Well done all. Excellent food, fast efficient service, great value.

Fun & huge place! Really good & flavorful brunch, will definitely go back. The only thing was the bread in the lamb dish that was way too stale. Kind staff and fun to get inspired by different cookbooks on the way into the restaurant.

Take note: If you are a serious coffee/brunch/cafe connoisseur, this is a place to come while in Dublin. Flat whites are very reminiscent of those in Australia (known for some of the world’s best), with beans that are clearly freshly roasted and with a solid milk-espresso balance. Delightfully done. Wide range of single origin filter coffees as well, plus a delicious/well-rounded brunch menu with freshly baked goods to boot. Pair that with excellent service and a great central city location, and you really can’t ask for much more from a cafe. Highly recommended!

Friendly staff, decent food, pastries looked delicious, hop atmosphere. Food looked great, but flavour wasn’t there. Menu hard to decider, didn’t see regular brunch options being ordered by people beside us. Water wasn’t refilled often enough. Washrooms very far from main dining room.

Nice place for brunches. You'll find different mezze trays to combine with cocktails (mimosas!)/tea/coffee/juice. Portion might look a bit small but take a dessert (recommend the baci) and you'll be nicely full. Service was good and efficient. Loads of gluten-free options! The bill can be a bit pricey so expect to spend 25 euros per head.

We have been here many times and it never disappoints. Garrett found us a lovely table on our arrival and we were served well, great hospitality as usual. Espresso martini on point, Meaty Mezze and Eggs Baba-Bida with extra pulled pork were delicious. Looking forward to our next time coming back!

Great coffee, nice food with a middle eastern twist. There's a lot of flavours going on in the food which is generally good but 1 or 2 simpler dishes would be a nice addition to the menu . The space is lovely , light and airy but can be quite hustle-bustle and busy. Staff always v friendly. A nice brunch spot

Food was ok, price was ok, service was VERY sub-par. They asked us 3 times if we were done with our meal, basically telling us to leave when 2 people in the table were still enjoying their drink. Also we had to wait 15' to get seated despite lots of tables being very much free. I'd rather get some breakfast from a supermarket and donate the rest of my cash to charity.

Menu options were a bit limited and service was quite slow. However I have to say I really enjoyed my dish and coffee, though definitely wish they had some traditional brunch options to appease a diverse crowd (but I think they’re intending to be different and trendy, and they do seem quite popular). They have vegan options available at least. Service was also a bit slow - we took nearly 40? min to get our food and then as soon as we had finished were given a 10 min warning to leave.

Decent food. The hummus was good. The staff was pretty sweet. I wouldn’t recommend the Black Forest desert. It had weird almond taste. Overall a decent place to visit. The best part is the vegan options.

We found this restaurant on a recommendation from a Google search for brunch and we were not disappointed. Food was excellent, with a good variety of options. Service was splendid and the atmosphere was boisterous and happy. Prices were very reasonable. I would recommend being a little cautious as not all their locations have a bar, depending on what you are seeking.

Always a good restaurant to go for a brunch. Room is big and they have a terrace. However a couple of years ago there were more choices in the menu (for example no avocado toast today). They have one sweet option the French toast which was very dry unfortunately. But overall it is a great place to go

The food was cold and the service wasn’t really there. We got up to get our own drink refill many times because otherwise we’d have nothing to drink for the duration of the dining experience. Inside was nice which is why this is a 2 star rating from me but other than that I won’t be coming back nor would I recommend this place to a friend.

In my opinion one the best place to have brunch in Dublin city center. Very welcoming and professional staff. Comfortable, cosy and safe arrangement of the space. Very well composed menu. Delicious The Eggs Baba Bida is highly recommended for brunch! There is also small store where you can shop Brother Hubbard made cocktails, and other great products crafted Brother Hubbard.

Great menu here. Visited twice. Food is wonderful. Good sized portions. Tasty. Service - needs attention. Wait to be served. Try to make eye contact but get ignored. Ordered tea but milk was off. Was brought new cup and milk but tea not replaced. A shame as this is otherwise a great place but something missing to make it 5 stars.

This is a lovely spot for some "alternative" food. The staff are very helpful and generally quite young. It's a "hip" or "cool" place to be, I think. There's a lot more space inside than you'd expect - some important people have even had parties there!

I can’t recommend more this place the taste of the food is really good, even the chocolate cake tastes different as usual one I must say much better, the hummus were so delicious and I’ve triyed many more before. The place is big and clean, there is not tap water for free. When you ask for your bill they give you a mint tea no charge. Good value for money. No needed reservation in advance. Service of the coffe a little slow. Disable toilet available here which one is very thoughtfully.

Wife and I came here just after we arrived in Dublin on Dec 22nd and had a fantastic brunch. The space is lovely and much bigger than it seems from the outside, and as we walked in we passed the pastry / dessert table which looked amazing. We were quickly sat at a table. My only critique is for the slow and inattentive service. Our server was very young and she seemed out of her element, and only showed up to take our order and drop our check. But the food was satisfying (though not outstanding) and we very much enjoyed the ambiance.

Came here for brunch and the food was absolutely delicious. There was a bit of a wait though, even if we had a reservation; they’re just slower at getting people to their table. The space per se is also great, very large with enough space between tables.

  • 3/5 LauraEmily K. 2 years ago on Google
I was disappointed at the vegan option I got here. I was not expecting an almost ice cold wrap (lightly battered cauliflower was described on the menu) though I didn't mind too much, it was the lack of filling of the wrap that bothered me more. When paying upwards of 10 euro for a cold vegetable wrap, you'd hope for it to be full of tasty, fresh salad, this wrap unfortunately had three or four pieces of cauliflower, a couple of spinach leaves, some grated carrot at the bottom and an overwhelming amount of pickled onion, which overtook any other flavour that may have been in the wrap. Three stars for the servers who were really friendly and on point.

Overall very solid Middle Eastern mezze dinner. Started with some delicious iced mint tea, and shared the Chicken Tagine, Spiced Cauliflower, and Charred Broccolini, Yellow Beans, and Red Pepper. The Chicken Tagine was cooked well - very juicy, but it lacked much in the way of flavor. It, well, just tasted like chicken. I was looking forward to a bit more depth of flavor. The sauce was fine that it came in, but I found myself dipping more and more bites in, trying to get some spice/flavor/interest/whatever! The Charred Broccolini, Yellow Beans, and Red Pepper were exactly as they sound. Very solid and if the chicke had had more flavor it would have been fine, but as the chicken didn't, I found myself not appreciating the veggies as much as I was still hunting around for some perfect bite. The Spiced Cauliflower came the closest and only when adding the yogurt sauce. The yogurt sauce was the true standout - my dinner mate kept dipping his chicken in it (best idea of the night). Service was decent - bit slow at times, but it was nice to get a chance to catch up with my dinner mate. Price was pretty good overall - I would have thought great if the meal had just had more flavor. Oh well, at least I did leave feeling like I had a healthy meal and some decent enough food.

I went here because an article said their pulled pork sandwich was one of the top things to eat in Dublin, unfortunately they don't serve that any more. The food was good, but didn't completely blow me away. I felt like the sandwich was more bread than anything. The halloumi is naturally a dry dish and I would have liked a side of sauce rather than the light drizzle. The house made cola was absolutely awesome! Overall the place is really neat, and had a nice clean atmosphere.

(Translated by Google) Large room. A little long waiting times. Spacing to be reviewed (are the tables sanitized when customers leave? I haven't seen it done). Good and plentiful food. Prices online. Friendly staff. (Original) Locale ampio. Tempi di attesa un po' lunghi. Distanziamento da rivedere (i tavoli vengono sanificati quando i clienti vanno via? Io non l'ho visto fare). Cibo buono ed abbondante. Prezzi in linea. Personale gentile.

(Translated by Google) Elegant and clean place close to one of the main streets of Dublin, friendly and attentive staff. Prices a little above average compared to other places, especially for cocktails and spirits, on the other hand in general average for breakfast, served and implanted very elegantly (the fruity cream that accompanies the brownies is excellent). Possibility of making separate accounts.
