As far as cafe's in Dublin 6 go...foam is lovely for the most part. Coffee is smooth, food is nice but repetitive and the staff...well there's a few things to be said. AJ & Vicky who now works in Up @ Brews could not have been more friendly and welcoming. Always know what the regulars want before they opened their mouths. How and ever - the owner, Stephen, really needs to keep a lid on things. Full of cheeky remarks and comments that you can clearly tell he struggles to hold down. Saw him mockingly making fun of a customer's word who was being nothing but friendly. Different story if the place is busy - I know that from experience - you simply don't have time to chat. However seeing as myself and this other gentlemen were the only people there, I cannot overstate how appalled I was. Looking at the nice man's face of just shock for trying to be nice - still remember it vividly. So while I want to say its a good spot, the last thing I want is to see that pr*ck getting business. Needs to severely check himself. Rant over.

Found the food very average here - not really sure why it’s busy…I think it’s only because of the ease of the location and the coffee is good. The girls who were working there were nice. However, we found the manager / owner rude and not customer friendly, which clouded our visit. I recommend only getting the coffee if visiting...and maybe to go!

Great place, wonderful coffee, delicious cake and the service was great at first, however, when we were finishing our coffee an attendant came and shooed us out. We understand that the table had booking but she could have been more polite in explaining the situation instead of just sending us away... I'll be back for sure, I hope she treated us like that because it was a busy day... but I don't know if we can use that as an excuse.

Is a simple and cool place. And has a tasty brunch. I spent around 16 euros.

My family often go here for lunch/brunch, so I immediately thought of Foam when I had a film crew to feed nearby. Even though we came to them VERY last minute looking for a platter of sandwiches, they not only delivered but were bloody amazing to boot! Everyone I spoke to the phone was lovely and so helpful. They were even able to make a couple of low carb wraps for some of our crew on restricted diets, which were really appreciated and just as delicious. Throughout the day each and every crew member came to me wanting to know where the sandwiches were from, and how they could get their hands on more - highly recommend!!

I've been to FOAM a fair bit over the last few months and have to say, they set the bar for quality, service, and customer experience. I could not speak highly enough of the team in there, each one a credit to the place. I've just shared two pics of meals I've had in FOAM, but all were sublime. In FOAM, the quality of everything makes you question why you'd go into a takeaway or just get a roll for lunch, when you coule spend an extra 2 or 3 quid, and have super quality food! If you have a bit of time to spare, go in to FOAM, relax and enjoy the food and experience. Say hi to the staff, and enjoy the amazing food and coffee!!

Interrupted three times while I was on the phone to be asked to move to a shelf by the window, despite having ordered a second coffee 15 minutes before and another table of 4 being in the cafe longer than me. In the lead up to this, I watched them move a "Rachel 1:15" sign around to different tables before putting it on my table. This happened when there were seven other empty two-seater tables available, so there was absolutely no urgency for me to move.

Might just be one of the best cappuccinos I’ve found in Dublin! Normally, Irish cappuccinos have way too much milk, but Foam gives the option of small or large sizes (only difference is the amount of milk), so it was finally more like a typical Italian cappuccino. :)

Staff are really welcoming, cafe has a cool vibe and the food is top class.

I hadhad eggsBenedict in Foam and the rashers were just short of being cremated, rock hard and dark , dark brown. I returned them explaining that they were inedible and had the eggs. There was one small piece of rasher that I gave to my grandson who did manage to eat it and when I looked for discount when paying I was very smartly told that because the child ate the rasher they were edible. If that is the way they treat people and expect customers to put up with charred food we will not return. I have been a customer for the past 4 years and the food was always good but obviously standards have slipped and attitudes changed.

Lovely Brunch and coffee ☕️ Foam is our regular brunch place. Very high quality coffee and chatty staff. Their food is delicious 😋 and resonably priced.

Really nice coffee and friendly service. The croissants were fresh out of the oven and were so nice.

Dropped in on a Saturday afternoon brunch with my wife and small child. It's not a big premises so you may have to wait for seat to come available. I had the breakfast bap & chips. It was lovely.

Food was very nice but service was pretty shocking. Asked for water 4 times and eventually had to walk up to get it ourselves. They forgot some of our order. Avocado and salmon sandwich came with no avocado and when I sent it back they brought the avocado on the side. Customer service quite poor. Disappointed as I heard good things about Foam, won't be returning.

Absolutely delighted with the place, the staff and the coffee/tea. We went there with my in laws after a long walk, and all I can say is: kudos to the staff. The tea and coffee were delicious and the whole service top notch. Thank you guys!!

Similiar to other poor reviews. Our order was forotten about with no acknowledgement after a 30min wait. Coffee ok but food is underwhelming. Hard to be too critial of young staff members but the service is very poor.

Nice coffee. Prices are... Ok I supposed but the chairs could be comfier and the place closes at 4pm on weekends. I'm not a huge fan of the "rustic chic" decor but that's subjective I suppose. Staff were very nice though and the coffee quality was very good. I would recommend but perhaps be mindful if you have a bad back or an injury or something.
