Went
to
a
DJ
set
being
held
here
as
an
after
party
as
my
friends
are
in
a
band
that
had
just
played
in
Workman’s
Club
two
hours
beforehand.
The
after
party
was
for
all
of
the
bands
that
played
the
gig
and
then
whoever
came
to
the
Grand
Social
for
the
event.
I
went
to
go
into
the
Grand
Social
and
the
doorman
asked
for
my
wristband
(which
my
friends
from
the
band
had
because
they
were
performers,
but
I
did
not).
I
highlighted
I
didn’t
have
one
but
was
that
I
was
accompanying
my
friends
(who
were
beside
me)
and
instead
of
saying
something
plausible
like
“we’re
at
full
capacity”
or
even
something
like
“I
can
only
let
in
people
with
wristbands”
-
the
doorman
raised
his
voice
immediately
and
said
I’m
too
drunk
to
come
in
and
to
leave.
I
was
shocked,
as
I
hadn’t
had
anything
to
drink.
My
friends
also
enquired
as
to
what
he
meant
by
me
“being
too
drunk”
and
he
began
shouting
to
them
all
“can
you
not
see
it
in
his
face?”
This
was
humiliating
considering
it
was
said
in
front
of
everybody
around
including
my
friends
and
especially
when
I
had
not
had
anything
to
drink.
We
met
another
friend
outside
by
chance
while
trying
to
figure
out
where
to
go
instead
after
our
experience,
and
we
noticed
the
doorman
on
duty
had
changed.
We
decided
to
try
enter
again
andcwhen
asked
for
my
wristband
like
the
band
members
had
by
the
new
doorman,
I
explained
I
didn’t
have
one
but
that
I
was
friends
with
the
band
just
like
I
had
initially
and
the
doorman
warmly
welcomed
me
inside.
Completely
shoddy
service
from
the
first
doorman
that
boarded
on
defamatory
with
a
raised
voice
accusing
me
of
being
“too
drunk”
and
then
asking
my
friends
“can
they
not
see
it
in
my
face?”
When
I
hadn’t
had
anything
to
drink.
I’d
leave
zero
stars
if
I
could
for
how
rude
this
gentleman
was
when
there
was
no
need
at
all
for
any
of
it.
The
bouncer
who
welcomed
me
in
when
I
tried
the
second
time
was
great.
On
my
way
out
of
the
venue
later
in
the
evening,
the
doorman
who
was
rude
and
originally
on
the
doors
was
back
on
duty
and
I
said
thank
you
to
him
and
that
the
other
gentleman
working
on
the
doors
after
him
was
happy
for
me
to
come
in,
and
as
I
walked
away,
he
actually
shouted
something
inaudible
at
me.
Truly
beyond
poor
overall
considering
the
price
of
drinks
and
going
out
in
the
current
economic
climate.
Been
here
before
and
enjoyed
it
but
this
experience
was
horrendous
and
I
won’t
be
in
any
hurry
back.
You
guys
have
some
great
events
but
door
staff
absolutely
need
training
and
to
all
be
on
the
same
page
on
how
they
approach
dealing
with
paying
customers
and
the
general
public.
