Good pub, but no bicycle parking even though it's just beside one of the biggest cycling routes in Dublin. Did not feel welcome as a cyclist. Edit: Attached a picture of the bike park suggested by the owner (a rusty metal pole at the side of the road). Cyclists are the same paying customers as motorists, but there is no place for them at the huge car park (picture for reference as well, both images from Street View). Come on, a couple of basic bike racks are not that expensive!

Typical local bar, with Typical Irish bar food, not bad, but could use a bit of an update, fresh new spirit, and new ideas.

Very welcoming pub, manager very nice and helpful and kind to the kids. Delicious toasted club sandwich and kids love the burger and chips.

Great staff,nice drinks. Unable to get the taps to work in the toilet - think they work by sensor - either they don't work or they require a detailed knowledge of these particular taps. Very poor.

Just a fantastic experience. Great food, friendly staff in a proper irish pub setting. We will be back.

This restaurant as well as the pub is simply outstanding. I go often because I live a few meters from it. The service is nice, you can sometimes listen to music, you can relax in peace. Kind people.

Great place. The food is delicious and the portion's are always big. It just has a really nice warm atmosphere and even outside accommodates to everyone. Staff are really friendly and accommodating. Definitely be back .

The night in question have to say the atmosphere that night was electric there was a lot going on in the pub it was the run up to Christmas, there was a big raffle ,people were buying tickets (me included) people having a laugh and others were just soaking up the atmosphere the pts of Guinness were going down a treat and the staff were very friendly, it was a good night and looking forward to the next

Stir fry chicken is gorgeous as was the fish and chips. Very friendly staff and nice n cool on a hot day.

We had a great family evening celebrating my sister in laws special birthday. The food was fantastic, staff very attentive, friendly and accommodating to all of our group, including the children. There was a great atmosphere there, thoroughly enjoyed it - thank you. 👍

Fabulous lamb shank with all the trimmings, food was piping hot x 4 people ( steaks & cod ) The desserts were just to die for.... the service was brilliant despite how busy it was & the staff are lovely. Recommend booking for a lunchtime sitting. Will definitely be there again in the near future.

Great little spot, food us always great. Few of the staff looked like they wanted to be anywhere else but most of them were great, Debbie especially is always a pleasure to deal with.

Would not recommend for afters of a funeral. Sandwiches weren't fresh and the amount put out was very little. Tea was cold and was provided without milk. Staff were dismissive. Very disrespectful to a family in mourning.

In a period of time when we all know how hard it is to get good service I have just received the best service I’ve ever had in a bar called the elphin , tasty pints friendly atmosphere and unreal pints , get in to see for yourself would have given 6 stars if I could , will be back very soon 💈

Came across the Elphin while out at the beach and had some lovely food. Portions are good and service is friendly. Would definitely recommend, especially for sport they have loads of tellys. Guinness is very good too

One of the best restaurants in Dublin! Honestly we were amazed at just how good the food was. It's a little pricey, at near London prices, but the portions are generous, the food is fresh and tasty and comes relatively quickly after ordering. A relatively small menu means they can focus on perfecting the dishes on offer and it shows. At no point were we dissapointed with anything we ordered. Would highly recommend 👌

Best hidden gem in North Dublin. Guinness in the bar is smashing and as for the food, order a large wings and check out the value for money. Not just the value but the wings have always been cooked to perfection

A good food pub, but a bit noisy. Thanks Paul, maybe I should have explained a more clearly. I was mainly referring to several occasions I went with friends for a chat and a drink. There was a music session going on. Very noisy and disruptive, and not so musical. It seemed to be a spontaneous group that got louder as the evening went on. Anyhow, I haven't seen them for awhile.

When we arrived at 1pm it was very busy but we we're seated promptly. Food delicious. I had garlic mushrooms they were delicious though it was such a large portion I could not do justice to my fish and chips which were also delicious. Good menu. The toilets spotless. Well worth a visit.

The fish and chips were so delicious! My husband got the special, which was the pan-fried sea bass. He said it was really good! The service was great, and everyone was friendly. There is a free parking lot, and they have a kids menu and highchairs. Good place for a pint! Highly recommend.

Excellent service. We had a late lunch. I had a lamb shank with mash and a lovely sauce with vegetables. Also one of our party had lemon sole and fish cakes. We were served in the bar as the lounge was busy. A roaring stove fire made everything cosy. Great service will be back.

We went for a drink 2 weeks ago to celebrate our son's Graduation and we were blown away by the service we received. We all decided to eat without having a booking and even though there were 12 of us, the staff fully accommodated us and we had a delicious meal. The pub was ao busy yet we received amazing service. This is now our designated pub for upcoming family celebrations.

Very impressed on a Friday evening visit. Delicious Pan fried hake and Chicken Schnitzel both served with great sides. Followed up with crumble and apple pie. Also a nice selection of beers, all in a pleasant atmosphere.

We ordered food for collection due to current restrictions. The setup for collection was very safe and staff member very friendly and helpful. We ordered different dishes for each family member and have to say it was delicious. I would highly recommend the Elphin and you can order food daily unlike other pubs. Will definitely order again.
