Club rating: Soundsystem 3/10 (soundsystem is rather poor, crackling and empty medium and high tones) Staff friendliness 8/10 (staff is friendly and uplifting, however, there are not many securities around) Crowd 5/10 (crowd seems quite unhealthy, some are cool others not, many are ideologically captured) Bathrooms 1/10 (no male/female toilets, toilets are used as hotel rooms) Drink offering 6/10 (no gf beer, no cocktails) DJs 4/10 (local DJs which is nice, but they are only mediocre) Prices 4/10 (rather pricey)

Best club in Dublin imo even if you don't love EDM, the DJs that play here are quality; vibes are great, the ppl that come here tend to know how to handle themselves when having fun (I've been there countless times, you never see fights or spilt drinks, just everyone having a good time); the club isn't too crowded on sell out nights, they stop selling tickets when the club is full but you still have room to dance; the staff are really sound, bar staff are always helpful with drinks and have lovely late night cocktails, security are there to help everyone have a good time and actually treat the guests like adults; overall a small gem of a club in Dublin centre. Some people hate EDM in clubs, but if you haven't been to Tengu and even if you just slightly vibe with EDM, then you're doing yourself a disservice by not visiting Tengu!

I went there on 15/07/22 Friday night and the DJ was great. Even though was boiling like a sauna inside I liked the underground vibe of the place. The only negative that justifies my 2 stars is that one of the barmen (short hair and stubble beard) was extremely rude if not racist, he was clearly giving preference to serving white Irish-looking ppl (and I'm a South America-looking person) and was being very friendly towards them but when I asked "can I order a drink, please? (after a long time waiting to be served and seeing several ppl being served first) he said "You're gonna have to wait" and I said "But I've been waiting a long time," he said in a very rude and dismissive way "I don't care!". So yeah I felt he was being racist towards me because I was the only non-white person ordering drinks at the time in the queue and there was no justification for being that rude towards me as I was being very polite and calm towards him!!!. So perhaps, the bar should keep an eye out for this kinda behaviour cuz no matter how good the place is, racism or rudeness just kills all the good impressions!! All the rest of the staff was great and friendly, and I particularly loved the friendliness of the security ppl usually they are the ones who are rude!

Unreal club and amazing staff, they have night monitors in the nightclub now which makes for a very safe and pleasant experience. No judgement and if any shenanigans go on there’s always someone to help you out. Safe space for LGBTQ and women, very inclusive space <3

Lovely place for some alternative night out. Cool people. Staff are great, bouncers are friendly. The setting of the place takes you to a world you think you've known but haven't been to because you've never set foot into Japan. The sushi there is also good and I detest Sushi.

There is no time I have been to Yamamori where I didn’t had a great night. Always nice crowds, cloackroom staff is super nice and friendly. Bar staff always attentive. They have a separate section for getting fresh water, drinks are served in glasses (not plastic). Sound is perfect every time, not so crowded. Staff at the door always friendly and welcoming. For me this is the best place to go in Dublin. For more DJs playing here and not in the disgrace of a place that is Index, Centre Point/Button Factory or Opium. Long Live Yamamori 🔥

Went here for lunch today. To say the food was nothing short of spectacular would be an understatement. I got the tried and tested bento, an unexpected addition when they give you black rice ( not to worry for all you white rice lovers, they provide it all). My partner in crime got the ramen, the broth has more levels then a skyscraper!! Service was great with a great atmosphere to top things off

sorry this review might contain some *not sure if racist* but honest review went for the cochella event was very disappointed none of the songs played was from cochella. most of them are songs are by the DJ himself or coloured ppl genre there was small crowd even after 12am on a Friday night. drinks are a bit limited choice as they only serve beer of porterhouse and kirin brand. also whiskey and vodka mixture not to be racist but most attendees are dark skin only good thing is that there were no line at the toilet and it's clean if you're white or only into popular songs please don't go here. but if u like African British song(not American hiphop or r&b) or girls chasing that BBC please come here to experience, it would be a truly eye opening experience apologies if offended any people but this is my honest review please don't hate me. if you have different experience please do share

Holds a special place in my heart. Brings some of the world's greatest talent to Dublin, a venue that treasures good music and a comfortable environment. The beer is a lil expensive but the atmosphere makes it so so worth it.

It's okay, toilets are disgusting, I felt uncomfortable in late night party and I left after 30 minutes of paying the entrance

Great place with good service and food worth the value. Ordered a creative sushi platter, a bowl of sushi rice, miso soup, a pot of green tea and 2 oysters to complete the meal (~30 Euro). Presentation of food lovely, with servers attentive and atmosphere good.

It's ok that you open till late at night. But could you please improve your soundproof facilities to minimize the affects to residents nearby?

Over priced, bland and unexceptional sushi. Mid range service, nice decor. A restaurant that capitalises on how long it’s been around but doesn’t follow through with the quality of experience you’d expect. Instead, I came away from Yamamori Tengu with a vague sense of impoverishment, both emotionally and materially. Thankfully, if you want Japanese food, you can now do a lot better in Dublin. I recommend a short walk to Caple St.

👍👍 Fantastic indoor entertainment venue in Dublin that holds up to 13,000 people. It's really well marshalled and queueing is kept to a minimum for drinks, food, merchandise and toilets. If you find the ground floor queues start to grow, just go upstairs for smaller queues. There's great sound and visi...
