Amazing experience!!! Staff couldn't have been more helpful or attentive. Will definitely be back - it's a beautiful location for a date or a girly get together. We were sat in their outside seating area, which doesn't feel like it's the outside at all. The decor makes you feel like you're back in time, in a secret exclusive hideaway. We didn't get food, but will definitely have to try their menu the next time, it sounded fabulous. Also, don't be afraid to ask for recommendations from the staff, they're so happy to help you choose a cocktail you'll enjoy. Thank you VCC.

The cocktails are unreal, food is ok for vegan people, nothing special and loads of overpriced falafel, great service from Hugo. I would suggest the absinthe cocktails, unbelievable good!!! I love the place wish ai could be there every week!

The whole experience was so lovely. The Vintage Cocktail Club has a brilliant menu. The cocktails are beautiful to say the least. The staff is super helpful and sweet. They will help you deciding what to choose from the variety of options you have on the menu. It’s a fine dining experience with candle lights and great service. They also have a food menu - the small bites are infact quite big in portion size. Highly recommend visiting, doesn’t matter if you know your cocktails or not!

A very good restaurant for date 📅 and it is extremely romantic 😍. Will recommend this place for a perfect date and their menu is truly amazing. Food is delicious 😋 and drinks 🍸 are awesome 👌. Little difficult to find as door is small and there should be more better and clear entrance 😀. They have seating at 2 levels try to sit at 1st level it is more comfortable and romantic 😀

Not a great experience! Nice looking interior, cool looking place, overpriced food and left hungry, cheeseboard awful value for money and nowhere near standard expected Told we could not order another drink when we still had 25 mins to spare from our 1hr45 min time slot yet they would allow us to order a desert Rushed out at 11pm so we presumed they were closing due to current guidelines being to close at 11.30pm which was fair enough only then to see more people arriving for dinner at 11pm,when questioned staff member told me they dont close until 12.15!!! Our overall experience wasnt pleasant and we were made feel absolutely in the way You need to allow people do what they choose once they are within 1hr 45 min time slot,we sat with no drink for last part of our night which we had planned for weeks!!We ordered plenty of food per person way more than the €9 and it left a bad feeling being told with 20 mins to spare you would not take another drinks order yet take a desert order Unfortunately will never return and would not recommend to anyone after that experience

Edit after 2nd visit: Love the whole concept. They offer virgin cocktails for 5. 50€. Just ask your server for "something sweet sour or fruity" and they'll make you a magical potion. The only thing that was not for me (totally personal and the rest of the group felt looked after and the opposite of what I felt) was the staff asking if we wanted another round while still barely halfway through the drinks. I understand that they need to push drinks but we got asked 6 times in under 10 mins. I felt super pressured even though we were the last sitting slot and they didn't need the table. Overall lovely and will come back to try the food. ------ Fantastic atmosphere. Huge menu which doubles as a history pamphlet. Definitely should be booked in advance. There are 3 floors but it's extremely popular!

Loved it! Make a booking to access this old time Speak-Easy aptly named the Vintage Cocktail Club. You would pass by the front door and never know the delights that are inside. It was a Tuesday night and less busy than later in the week which suited us. We were escorted to the second floor and seated then noticed that the roof was indeed open and we were looking at the sky. Aisling was our waitress for the evening and what a pleasure she was, she poured water before and between our cocktails which were chosen from a large selection of periods 1400's, 1700's, 1800's and 1930's to name a few. I had the Isabella and later the Banshee both which were excellent, this is real liquor and real cocktails no mistaking that! A must visit and this new discovery will be included in my night outs in Dublin. For the experience and the quality of the cocktails I found it well priced.

Speakeasy in the middle of Temple bar area. Features cocktails from 1000s of years ago. Made a reservation about a month in advance. Servers were extremely attentive and nice. Drinks were reasonably priced and very unique. Would definitely go back!

This place was extraordinary. Its old school cocktail vibe behind an unpretentious door was so charming and the barman was absolutely incredible. Drinks were wonderful!! And he was so kind with answering our questions about the cocktails while also making multiple complex cocktails at once. So so impressed!! I said to my boyfriend, every time we come back to Dublin, we must visit this place. And my boyfriend said, I’d come back to Dublin ONLY to visit this place. The menu book was cool. It had tons of fun info about cocktails and beautiful drawings. I was having such a great experience that I tried to swipe one. A server stopped me and before I could apologize, she berated me. Should I have asked first? Yes, of course and I regret it. Did I deserve to be yelled at? I don’t think so. It’s a menu. If I hadn’t liked the place so much, I wouldn’t have bothered. Maybe someone better trained in hospitality might have made a joke or even offered to let me buy it or done anything else but yelled at me in front of everyone. Maybe she is an owner and has to keep reprinting the menu because people keep taking them. If that’s the case, I dunno, if it were me, I’d be pretty thrilled. But that’s me and maybe this place is more ridiculous than it seemed. Everyone was so incredibly friendly and unpretentious until this point. I will go back again, of course, and I will recommend this place to everyone I know. However, I’m still smarting from what felt like an overreaction, dressing down.

The Vintage Cocktail Club is a fantastic iteration of a prohibition speakeasy. Set in the heart of Dublin, all you do is book a two hour slot and turn up and ring the bell. Your then transported back in time to a place where you can experience the glorious ages of the Cocktail. They serve a huge range of Cocktails from Classics, to tiki and some signatures of their own. It's all laid out wonderfully in the menu, accompanied with history, stories and descriptions. We had a few each alongside some sharing food. A great evening was had by us, VCC lead with table service and the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly, it made the whole experience, topped with some choice recommendations, we cannot fault our evening. VCC is a must visit when in Dublin, book ahead and have a wonderful night. Thanks for an awesome night VCC.

The place deserves 6 stars. Ann Marie is a fantastic host and Gareth is a phenomenal mixologist. I was here for my birthday yesterday and they all made my wife and I feel welcome. We had great chats with Ann Marie who went above and beyond for us both. We go here quite a bit and each time we do, it's a more memorable visit than the last. Cocktails are very moderately priced and are incredibly varied. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Bit disappointed we couldn't enjoy the terrace as we went as part of a birthday celebration on a Sunday afternoon. However we were very pleased with the cocktails and food. Really well prepared and the service was excellent. Although the ambience is good for a night's out mood I think makes it look a bit lugubrious if you're there during the day.

One of my favourite places for a delicious cocktail. Vintage devour and a long long list of cocktails bringing you back in time. I love that this place does not play loud music so you can enjoy your cocktail and have a chat with your friends. Their food is good too! Perfect for every day of the week! A real Pearl in the middle of Temple Bar!

Absolutely delicious! Great outdoor seating, wonderful service, and my eggs Benedict was delicious! Solid 5/5 stars! Unfort there is currently a bit of construction noise across the street, but Ofc that's not their fault. The food and drinks made up for the noise 100%. Thanks for a great experience!

What a lovely way to spend some time taking a break from life. The cocktails are wonderful and we enjoyed the food. So glad I booked this one! This atmospheric hidden gem throws you back to the Prohibitionist period. All tables are candle-lit, which curated decor and jazz music. It’s stepping back in time. The food was incredibly tasty and so were the cocktails.

  • 4/5 Bernie M. 1 year ago on Google
Nice setting. They have 3 settings so had to queue out on the street until after 7.30. Food was okay and cocktails where good. Had no lime to make a Margarita, bit strange for a serious cocktail bar with prices to match.

If you are someone who enjoys alcohols that are not as common, such as Chartreuse, this is a place to be. I think it caters to a spread of people who just want to enjoy a private meal with a significant other, but in my opinion it is even better for those who might want to try cocktails with ingredients they might already be familiar with, and want to see what this establishment has created. It's rare to find a bar, or cocktail club, that has cocktails with Chartreuse. I bring this up again because it definitely speaks to the creativity of this place. The cocktails are mixed perfectly, with no ingredients overpowering one another. Very nice ice cubes as well that melt slowly. The quality of the ice speaks to the care of this establishment also. If you are in Dublin, and you want to peruse a very nice cocktail menu, this is an exceptional place to start. When I return to Dublin, I will be stopping by. Allow me to amend my review to add more detail to address other reviews... The staff at this location are exceptional and accommodating. We did book well ahead of time, but there was a miscommunication at the door, and they wanted to seat us at the bar, rather than a table. I communicated this to the lady upstairs and they were willing to seat us according to our reservation. The staff were very polite, and very patient. The reviews claiming they were rushed make absolutely no sense. Again, if you have the opportunity to go to, it's a must. We visited in October.

Reasonably priced, delicious cocktails ! Very wide variety of drinks and the menus are more of an lesson on cocktails than a plain menu. Snacks were a nice extra treat and there were vegetarian options available.

I booked a cocktail making class for a friends party. Maria dealt with my booking in a speedy manner offering flexibility with numbers non alcoholic alternatives. Upon arrival the atmosphere is 10/10 , both bar staff were exceptional we laughed and learned a lot about the cocktails and each member of the party made a personalised cocktail. Will definitely return could not recommend enough.

Lovely authentic atmosphere here! Bartender was super friendly, cocktails were great! Little bit pricey but nothing more than what you'd pay in London, so I would say it's expected! Definitely recommend booking in advance, pretty sure it's reservation only. Venue is hidden in plain sight, just a small black door the VCC on the door.

In short: Outstanding cocktail menu, great atmosphere and friendly staff and male reservation in advance! We found this cocktail but from the World top 50 discovery bar website and got excited when we found out it’s a speak easy. First attempt to visit this place we found out it’s hard without a reservation so we made one for the night after on OpenTable. They offer two different sets of siting for people who like to have food or cocktails only. Their menu is beautifully designed based on different century and eras. Having tried 5 different cocktails they were all amazing. Also the chicken wings were a hit and everyone were ordering them. Highly recommended if you are in the area and try to drink something other than Guinness.

  • 4/5 Calvin L. 4 months ago on Google
A good cocktail bar worth a stop in Dublin if you're looking for something other than Guinness. It's also a much more relaxed spot compared to most of temple bar. The menu is extensive so you could visit many times without ordering the same drink twice. My favorite drink I tried was the jameson's gate schooner. The dirty wizard was also good but a little too spicy.

  • 5/5 Jeff C. 6 months ago on Google
Spent a couple of hours here enjoying several different cocktails. First, this place can get busy, so I'd recommend you make reservations if you don't want to chance it. The door is very unassuming, right across from the Old Storehouse Bar & Restaurant. Ring the bell for entrance. Seating is on the 2nd and 3rd floors. They have a large cocktail menu, well supported by incredible servers that can make some excellent recommendations if you want help. All the drinks we tried were very good. My wife really liked the Milk Punch. We also ordered a cheese tray to snack on. Well prepared and nice selection. I'd highly recommend stopping by if you are in Dublin!

  • 5/5 Claire J. 6 months ago on Google
This speakeasy was recommended in a layover group and I’m so glad that we visited. I was lucky to grab a reservation for three for the same day. The cocktail menu is very complex. I ordered the Ceylon In The City. It was delicious. The foam makes it smooth in the front and spice kicks in the back of the tongue. Definitely worth a visit and such a chill vibe especially compared to visiting Temple Bar before that.

  • 5/5 Divya M. 1 year ago on Google
Absolutely amazing date night experience. The cocktails are not too pricey for a speakeasy place like this. The service is amazing and the cocktails are yummyyyy. They could do with a better food selection but overall would definitely return again.

  • 5/5 Leigh P. 9 months ago on Google
Unique prohibition-style speakeasy. Cool decor, great cocktails, and friendly staff. The food is also tasty, but think of it as refined sharing platters/finger food to accompany the amazing cocktails. Great for an intimate date night or special occasion. Booking required!

  • 4/5 JMcC 11 months ago on Google
Fantastic place to have cocktails very private place with ambient lighting. The only thing letting them down is the fireplace, you need to put a spinning cowl on your chimney top, it can get very smoky. Part from that, the staff are very professional and polite.

  • 5/5 Adam H. 1 year ago on Google
Great "hidden" cocktail bar in Dublin, with an extensive drink menu and knowledgeable bartenders & staff. Make reservations in advance as they have set seatings. They also offer food but we only drank

  • 5/5 Harrison Frede (. 11 months ago on Google
An amazing speakeasy with charcuterie board food that slaps. The Rosetta balls were so amazing. Brisket was smooth. The cheese board was fantastic. But the 4 meat board is just so freaking good. It was a great time for my wife and I. The cocktails are vast. Not amazing but vast. Still good.

Very intriguing entrance. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. As a reply to the venue comments I would just like to add some further information. Really loved the experience of trying to find this place & ringing the bell to enter. Inside is a cosy intimate setting for dinner & drinks. Overhyped!! Cocktails are okay, not too great for the price. Fingers food is also average. TOURIST ATTRACTION, that's it coz of the location (Temple bar). Even the tables are too tiny, doesn't accommodate their platters.

Went with friends there. They had a whole damn book for a menu of cocktails. Very impressive. I couldn’t have alcohol so I asked for a mocktail and there was only one choice. Was kind of disappointed, wish they’d have more choice. They sat us at the top floor and the place definitely needs renovation. Very worn furniture. Not vintage, just old

Such an unknown treasure. If you love cocktails try this place out. They have so many drinks from the past to the present, but they will make something off menu to your taste. There are even nibbles on offer/small bites, but be aware that you will have climb a number of stairs during your stay so make sure you have some water or order food.

Second time around horrible on 6/3/20 at 745 since we arrived waitress was very abrupt as the nite went on she became agressive talking to our group like we were kids I ask to speak to the manager he was very confrontational. Our waitress Ann-Marie was extremely helpful and easy to talk to. Even if you didn't want to read through the menu she could easily recommend drinks and absolutely every single one she did suggest was spot on! The food was really tasty although the menu is limited. Its more a place you go to drink, chat and soak in the atmosphere. Would absolutely visit again.
