This park is quite ok to visit if you live here and want to escape the city, have a walk on the trail of the beach, go running or walk your dog. But it's impossible to really enjoy the nature here, as the beautiful view and peacefulness is quite destroyed by the big factory that is here which also produces a lot of noise and stench!! Such a shame and I can't understand who could ever allow for a factory to be build on this site.

Lovely walk, the path is well maintained and scenery is lovely. However the smell can be a little strong (sewage) but sure what can you do!

Nice walk from Sandymount around the bay. Lots of walkers about so plenty of activity. Decent path with only a couple of low inclines if you have a pram or someone in a wheelchair. Plenty of seating along the route.

Mixed feelings. Nice spot to a point then there is a little tent town in the middle with people living there. I'm not sure how safe it would be as it gets dark but have walked past a few condoms and syringes

I am giving only 2 stars because it does not look great at all, simply a very small stretch of greenery and bushes. And the smells of poo from the nearby sewage treatment plant are horrid. Not something you would expect from nature reserve. Only the views of the bay are making visiting this place worthwhile.

Perfect for a walk and relax! You have great views from the path. There is a green park and the promenade

Nice place to walk the dogs with no hassle for them off the lead. Sewage treatment plant can stink somedays but it is one of the few places you can let the dogs off with no hassle these days and is normally quiet.

A piece of nature in Dublin. You can go through this park to visit the Poolbeg Lighthouse. Unfortunately it is very close to an industrial area, waste treatment zone, so you can smell it.

Beautiful walk and they've recently redone the path on the trail so it's much sturdier.

A gorgeous morning, afternoon, whatever! A beautiful walk to bring you up to a secluded beach and further on to the lighthouse. Enjoy!!!

I enjoyed this walk with a friend after visiting the Poolbeg lighthouse. Great time! Not much to look at but we were talking more than anything to actually care. Way too many dogs off their leash though but that’s probably a con for me since I’m afraid of dogs.
