One of the best Italian restaurants in the country. I was looking for a good lasagna and it was one of the best in my life. The starter I chose from their starters of the day was amazing as well. The place is small but great decorated. And they have a proper oven, so I assume pizza will be great as well.

We visited da mimmo for dinner on our short trip to Dublin and were very impressed! We received a warm welcome and our waitress was so lovely, the food itself was delicious and the portion sizes of our mains were large so it felt like good value for money (given the portion size!). They also substituted one of the calzone fillings for me with no problem at all! We would not hesitate to return here again if we ever come back to Dublin!

Had a lovely take away the pepperoni 🍕 pizza in the gormet pizzas was heavenly ! Never tasted pepperoni like it before! The spicy sausage pasta was fabulous too really enjoyed the kick from it it’s quite spicy but I loved it! Can’t wait for it to open back up so I can go and eat in there. Can’t wait for my next take away from here also 😍

Really love this place. Authentic Italian food, great atmosphere and a lovely and fast service. They have a very efficient kitchen that's able to produce gorgeous food both for dining in but also for take out. The dining area is small so doesn't fit that many people, hence ordering food for collection is very popular in this place. Huge pizza oven is also very impressive. :) Last night was my first time there since before the pandemic and happy to say this place is just as good as it was :) Will come back more often now!

We found this place after looking for somewhere near the hotel and it was absolutely brilliant. The staff were lovely and accomodating but the food was just sublime. Some of the best Pizza and deserts we've had in fact, very highly recommended! It's not the biggest so make sure and call to book but we were very impressed.

The place is a little gem that I would like to think not a lot of people know about but just trying to get a table will tell you how fantastic the place really is. Booking is essential, they have a fantastic range of Italian food with delicious Pizzas Pasta and seafood on offer. We brought my Irish/Italian Aunt and she said it was the closest to really Italian food she has ever gotten in Ireland. She couldn't believe how such a unbelievable restaurant was in the Northstrand. How the whole area has changed since she was a kid growing up in Eastwall. Da Mimmo is a must see restaurant if you're lucky enough to live close by they do take a way and delivery's. Put it in the list and make your way bookings to get down to Da Mimmos you certainly won't be disappointed, you can thank me later.

Absolutely 5 stars! Small, cosy place with excuisite Italian kitchen. We had pizza, pasta and salad and all of it was absolutely delicious. Salad with amazing dressing and ingredients and very crispy pizza. Very friendly service as well. Can be noisy, depending on the amount of guests.

What a chipper. Well that's what the taxi driver said but if course he was "talking through his hole" This is a really really nice Italian restaurant. Food was amazing and staff super friendly. It's a small restaurant so reservations required. Was there with a party of six and was perfect.

Best italian food in Ireland!! 🇮🇹 EDIT: I went other 4-5 times (including delivery), we ate the same things and the quality of both the pizza (burned, ingredients on top not cooked enough/cut too big) and the lasagna (no bechamel, too much sauce, change in ingredients at times) deteriorated rapidly since the day of the original 5/5 review (2 months span). I change my stars from 5 to 4.

Great food, nice selection of pastas, pizzas and desserts. Large portions, great value for money! The service was exceptional. The place is small and can get very busy/noisy so booking is essential. We tried two of the pastas and the daily special dessert which was a homemade profiterole. Absolutely delicious!

Amazing yummy food! Portions are huge. I’d recommend a starter each and a main to share between two. Prosecco was so tasty and the nicest Apreol spritz

As for the atmosphere terrible noisy need to up the tune of voice to have a conversation with each other at the table which is a HUGE downfall for dining out. As for the service was fantastic checking that missing anything AT the right time and not in the middle of the bite. As for the food beyond delicious, with every bite, you can taste the freshest ingredients. Would definitely recommend giving the food a try more as a takeaway till they change the atmosphere vibe. But definitely give it ago

Da Mimmo 🍝 A very cute little italian restaurant near Fairview. I ordered a Spaghetti Allo Scoglio and a side, and my friend ordered a lasagna. I love how they did for the flavouring and the seafood was nice and fresh. (Since I dont live nearby it, I ended up making copycats from time to time as I miss that dish🤭) It is nice and fresh enough without drawing all the attention from the flavour of the seafood. The side was nice and crispy. Although I must say they give generous portion without giving away their quality. My friend loves their lasagna, except he believes it could be slight leas cheesy. The staffs were very nice and it was a Saturday lunch so it wasn’t crazily busy. The place was a little tight though which is only down side. Food ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️5/5 Service⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟4.5/5 Vibe ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️4/5 Overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️4/5 Overall it is not bad! I would revisit for their seafood pasta. 🍝 🏠Da Mimmo #DublinFoodiesClub

Just wow. The best service and wonderful food. It was so impromptu but we were given the best attention. The sea bass was amazing so was the risotto. Big portions too

Possibly the best Italian restaurant in Dublin. Dishes are authentic recipes using the best ingredients. Sharing is recommended as portions can be large but also to taste as many dishes as possible. Great selection of wines available at reasonable prices. The restaurant is quite small, the decor is basic but you’ll forget all about that once your food arrives. Daily specials are also a must try. The anti pasta board changes regularly and is always excellent. It has been our go to place for well over 10 years.

Probably the best Italian restaurant in Ireland. It doesn’t look fancy and tables are placed close together, but it oozes atmosphere. It’s usually packed with people, so book your table. Closes relatively early. Great pasta and risotto dishes with fantastic seafood. Pizza would be hard to beat.

I absolutely love this Italian restaurant all the pasta meals taste like homemade and the Bunga Bunga pizza is a meat lovers dream. The portions are really generous and the staff are always lovely

Had a lovely Italian takeaway meal from Da Mimmo's this evening - food was really excellent and service was wonderful. I asked for a wine recommendation to go with meal and the wine was very good

Couldn't say enough good things about this place. Gorgeous food at such a reasonable price and excellent staff.

Unfortunately had a bad experience here. Pizza arrived stone cold. While i understand the drivers are a variable to consider, the level of service I received when I called the restaurant was terrible. The restaurant itself sets the radius for which deliveroo will service. If the restaurant can't deliver warm food to a given area they should either reduce the radius or use their own drivers. Ultimately, they need to employ a better attitude when it comes to speaking with their customers.

👍 Excellent location for a quick bite. The prices are very reasonable compared to similar places with equivalent ambience and quality. The place obviously excels in Pizzas but the Pistachio Canoli is highly recommended.

🫤 A decent place, but the prices are extortionate now. At least €7 for a pint of anything but Guinness and Smithwicks. I know times are tough, but I haven't seen anywhere in the city as expensive outside of Temple Bar. The pizzas are nice, but again they're at least 50% more expensive than the photos...
