Great place! Good service and friendly staff! 1st time in we had the Beef Brisket Bnedict from Brunch menu and it was beautiful!! Second time, I got the fish and chips and my partner got the eggs bnedict, which is now his favourite in town! :) Probably our must to go place when in Howth! A big round of applause to the chef! 👏🏽👏🏽

We stopped after reading about this spot in the Rick Steve’s Ireland guide and it did not disappoint. Very stylish interior, excellent service and the menu was varied and very reasonable. We sampled the mussels, the seafood chowder and sandwiches. All perfect. A great little restaurant in a beautiful seaside town.

Lovely meal with extended family on Saturday night. Easily accommodated a wheelchair and also willing to make menu changes to deal with a gluten free diet. My curried mussels with lentils was unusual and absolutely delicious (though very filling!) I would go back again just for this! I think all of the other dishes were well received as well so a really enjoyable evening out.

We were there for breakfast before we went on the Cliff Walk. Decent food and decent prices. Would recommend.

Very nice spot to grab a bite after your 10km cliff walk. I had the chicken sandwich and it was delicious. Staff is friendly and gracious.

First time back since the start of the pandemic, and it was excellent! We arrived around noon on a Sunday and the place was busy (really great to see!). Despite not booking, they were able to push 2 tables together and get us seated quickly. We had the chicken burger and avocado and eggs from the brunch menu. The burger was delicious, covered in a spicy buffalo sauce. Hand cut chips with sea salt, very tasty indeed. We ordered fish and chips for the kiddos which were large portions. You could probably get away with just one between 2 if the kids are 4 and under. I got a take away coffee to go which was good. All in all, great place, handy location and really good food. Delighted to see it heaving again!

Best avocado toast I ever had. Especially the side salad. Very tasty. Warm chocolate with marshmallows is lovely. They are quick in service and friendly.

We stopped here and ate and drank after a half day of hiking in Howth! The food, restaurant, drinks and service were a step above most places in the area. It was very nice and relaxing! Highly recommend visiting this restaurant!

Fantastic hidden gem in Howth. Breakfast was top class. Great menu and so friendly and prompt service . Does lunch and dinner too. Lunch menu looked delicious and will definitely be back.

Great location for a restaurant and a nice cozy feel to the place. We got seated and served quickly enough. The burger was lovely and the homemade chips were probably the nicest chips I've had in a restaurant. Onion rings were a bit stodgy, but I ate them anyway. Unfortunately last night it was understaffed, which became more obvious as the night went on and the same two staff had to serve more customers, but they did their best and stayed polite under the pressure. We had to wait a half hour after getting dessert menus for them to come around again to ask what we wanted, at which point we had already decided just to get the bill, which was unfortunate. Altogether though it was a nice experience, and with more staff it would've been an even better night. I would still recommend the place though, lovely food and friendly staff!

It's my 3nd times there with my brother.. we both really enjoyed it .. foods is excellent. Staffs are very nice . Will be back again soon.

The House Restaurant has a terrific brunch menu. Great service and food. Busy atmosphere, on todays visit it was so loud you couldn't even hear the background music. Even so, we'll be back again and would recommend.

Authentic Irish breakfast for agreeable price. Friendly service and a nice, quiet seating are outside in the back made us enjoy the stay

Pancakes where good. Service was a bit slow and unorganized. The place was packaged for Sunday brunch. Prices are a bit higher then we expected in this area.

The pancakes were good, sausage sandwich was ok. Food came out fast but we felt rushed out when leaving.

If I was to rate this ONLY on the food then it would easily be a 5 star review. Each of us in our group ordered something different and each dish that came out was better than the last!! Really beautiful, hearty portions and tasty too! The staff were not up to the same standard as the food - I am not saying that they were rude or anything like that, but they could have been better. That said - because of the quality of the food, we will be back!

This is a great place to go to when in Howth. We decided to go here for brunch. I was craving an eggs benedict, and they didn't disappoint. The only criticism is that it came with too much salad (however, this is probably a personal preference and would still recommend the meal). The other meal at the table was the Berry Pancakes, and they were delicious. They had great food and definitely worth a visit when in Howth.

Fairly priced soup and sandwich for much with a 1/2 liter of artisan beer for under €20. The atmosphere is lovely, with some business executives but still not too fancy for budget travelers in running/hiking gear.

This was our first time in Ireland, and we had an exceptional first meal in the country at this restaurant! Following an early flight to Dublin, we drove straight to Karl’s place, conveniently located above the restaurant, and by check-in, our appetites were substantial. Discovering this historic restaurant, with several vegetarian options, was a delightful surprise. The staff, mindful of our dietary restrictions, patiently walked us through the menu. Our meals, generously portioned, arrived promptly, and the service was as warm as the food. Karl and his reception team were especially friendly and helpful. Restaurant is conveniently located close to various tourist attractions and parks. If you’re in Howth or Dublin, don’t miss this place! The amazing flavors remain a pleasant memory, and thanks to Karl and his team, our parents had a comfortable meal and an enjoyable stay.

Very delicious food, higher than average prices and you get what you pay for. I can recommend the charcuterie board. And the fish and chips are properly seasoned and taste great. They have outside seating in the back, heated and well ventilated. With attentive servers and the food coming very quick. All in all a more premium dining location that is well worth a visit.

The coffee there is one of the very few places in Ireland with a nice coffee, definitely Italian approved on my opinion. The staff is very nice, the coffee is not at a vulcano 🌋 temperature like it has to be, I also must to specify that they serve the illy brand coffee ☕ one of the top loved brands in Italy.

Love this place. Great ambience indoors and out, and one of the more interesting/adventurous menus in the area. Everything on the menu is executed very well and the staff are great.

My goodness the breakfast we had, there was so good. Just have to say irish food is one of the best in Europe ❣

My favourite place to eat. Food is always amazing and best chicken wings this side of galaxy. Can't wait until things open up again. Will be booking a table for every night of the week... AND the service and staff are amazing!!

This place is exceptional. 4 of us went for breakfast. 1 x vegetarian fry, 2 smashed avocado on toast, 1 x full Irish. Absolutely delicious! The tomatoes were so sweet! We also added their beautiful, fluffy pancakes which came with yogurt, mixed berries and nuts. So devine we had seconds!! The bill with multiple teas and coffees came to €80 for the 4 of us and we left a tip for the brilliant service.

Everything we took was delicious, the place is lovely and the waitress very kind.

The chicken burger was so good. We had it without a bun, and it was still amazing. We also loved the fry sauce. Decor and ambience were cute, comfortable, and cozy. I wish there were more gluten-free options, but otherwise this place was perfect.

We didn't eat here. Just had some hot drinks which were really good. I rate them 4 because they're a bunch of really nice people who made us feel welcome even though we were only ordering drinks. The set up is cosy and clean.

The food is what I hope for when eating out but infrequently get. The menu is interesting and makes you want to return to chose what you didn't pick today. The service is great yet subtle, a rarety in this world! Highly recommended!

The place is located right in the heart of Howth. The food was delicious. I enjoyed the service as well as the ambiance. No one trying to rush anyone to leave. Don’t even need need a reservation on a Sunday evening - you can just walk in as well. The menu was diverse and catered for everyone. I’d revisit.

We held an event here for family last year and had the most amazing time. Super staff and service and exquisite food and drink. Can't recommend The House enough.
