I went here based on the internet reviews and general recommendation from friends and wasn't disappointed. The restaurant is quite big and spacious. The hospitality was genuine and the staffs were kind. All the food items were flavoursome with the right blend of spices hitting the taste buds. Main courses had a very filling portion size. Price may be on a higher side but that's understandable from where they are located. The restaurant could appeal more sophisticated with a little more maintenance. Overall we had a very fulfilling lunch and it is definitely a nice spot to dine as couples or in groups.

Great food and nice staff! But a bit pricey for what it is. Would recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala (not on menu but available) and the Garlic Naan. Butter chicken is also nice.

55 euros menu per person. Are you mad! A dinner on Sunday with my couple 110 euros + tip. Come on is not my fault if you have been close for the COVID for long time, that is not giving you the right to rip off your loyal customers. Not anymore!

What can I say? One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had in Dublin. An Indian friend of mine suggested me this place saying:”it’s the best Indian restaurant in Ireland” and I don’t think he was lying. The restaurant is very stylish, with a very nice Art Deco style. Also the choice of food is just right (you know the food is good when the menu is not too big). The waiting staff is amazing and with a courtesy beyond expectations. The food was amazing: it was very tasty and authentic, also well presented. The service overall was very good. Be ready to spend a little bit on the higher end, but nothing crazy. If you take your date here they won’t forget it. Also huge props for having classical music, that was cherry on top for me.

I went there to have dinner and I must day, this is one of the finest indian restaurants in Ireland. I was welcomed by the staff with great gratitude. We were served with the starters and welcoming snacks. We ordered some drinks and the staff explained to us the quality and taste of the drinks. Later, we ordered shakahari thali. The food was lovely and staff seved the food with no delay. I can say this is one of the finest indian foods I have had in such a long time. Every bite was delicious. After the meal, we ordered sweets, and we ordered chandni kulfi, which also matches the quality of taste as of the food. In the end, I must say, great food, great service, and great atmosphere, and thank you once again for such hospitality and delicious good.

We booked Ananda for a special anniversary as we wanted to go somewhere we wouldn't normally eat. The food was fabulous. My dish of lentils simmered for 36 hours was a particular highlight but it was all delicious. The menu is somewhat more limited than other Indian restaurants but there still should be something for all tastes. The service was great and we left stuffed and happy.

This is by far the best Fine dining Indian restaurant in Dublin! Their Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani was splendid and the kebabs were cooked to perfection! The staff here is well trained and their etiquettes do portray that you are at an upscale restaurant so does the restaurant decor. Will definitely return!

Very tasty food. Lovely atmosphere and ambience. Staff was incredible. Highly recommend the sharing/ bit of everything starter. Butter chicken was in my top 3 of all restaurants. Mango lassi was the best I've had in Dublin.

That's my first visit to the place. The food was good but not extraordinary, portions were suitable for only person only. Food has a long waiting period and the staff wasn't really cooperative. Not worth the hype or the money you pay for. It wasn't something I would like to visit again.

Ananda is a restaurant we had heard of until today; now it's a restaurant we have been to (and would love to go to again). And was I surprised! This is hands down the best Indian food I have had outside of India. Everything we ordered was visually amazing. There are some items on the menu that give you a taste of Indian food that you won't get anywhere else ... Like the Jaipuri Raj Kachori. I specially liked the fact that the food was properly spiced. The flavours were subtle and perfectly balanced. I was also very impressed with the Varquay Nalli Lamb. It is almost like a deconstructed biryani. The lamb shank was cooked to melt-in-the-mouth perfection. So to was the Ananda Ghee Roast Goat Curry that my wife ordered. We ended the meal with the Rose Kulfi, and again we weren't disappointed. The staff were friendly and attentive. If you are looking for Indian food with a twist, this is the place to go. You won't be disappointed. I know I am definitely going back. My only real complaint, if any would be the chairs. At the smaller tables by the windows, the chairs feel a little small and by the time we were done, I just couldn't stay sat on that chair anymore.

Always love this restaurant and today was no exception...food amazing though menu has been cut drastically! Group was in house when we arrived for opening at 5.30.. Young child was running around most of evening without any supervision...we did mention to staff who said they had dealt with situation but with fear of covid and boy touching chairs and tables..it didn't look that way....

IG : Farhaan_10 I recently dined at Ananda, an Indian restaurant featured in the Michelin Guide. It was a fine dining experience with a top-class atmosphere that exuded authentic Indian vibes, creating a superb ambiance. The staff was not only very nice but also highly professional, ensuring the servers were right on time and providing complementary items that added to the overall experience. As for the food, we tried a variety of dishes. The meat platter was decent, earning a 3 out of 5. The seafood, on the other hand, impressed us with a 4 out of 5 rating. However, the real star of the meal was an off-menu item - the spicy chicken madras gravy, which was incredibly delicious and deserving of a perfect 5 out of 5 rating. The garlic butter naan was also very tasty. Overall, my visit to Ananda was a delightful experience, with standout dishes like the spicy chicken madras gravy making it a memorable culinary journey. If you're looking for a fine dining Indian restaurant with a great ambiance and professional staff, Ananda is a top-notch choice.

Food is really delicious but adapted for the Irish palate - and I don’t just mean the “spiciness” level but everything else as well. So, I would call Ananda the best “modern and original Indian cuisine” in Dublin, but not the best “Indian cuisine” :) it’s an excellent restaurant either way! We tried the “Jaipur Raj kachori” for starter, the southern coastal thali, and the goat ghee roast. Succulent meat and delicate flavours from start to finish- best of Irish meat and Indian flavours. Food is extremely rich so make sure you are hungry. Service was impeccable and ambiance was great. The cocktails are nice and reasonably priced for an up scale restaurant. The goat ghee roast was my favourite. The appams that it was served with were gorgeous. 🙏🏼

The place is good and ambiance is fabulous, however the food is not the best Indian food for the price you pay. I was expecting authentic Indian flavours in the thali, it was more westernised.

What a rib off!! What a disgrace to Indian cuisine?!! If you wanna pay for sliced cucumber go to TESCO! "Is this a salad? Yes he says it's a salad, it has cucumber! Do you want broccoli? I can bring broccoli!! managers are worse than the waiting staff! So many good words I heard of this place. Reality quiet the opposite. Big bill for nothing!! . Of all the places I dined it is this the most disappointing.

Worth every penny! The best Indian food we've had in Dublin so far. Lovely ambiance overall, the restaurant has a direct view of the kitchen behind a glass wall. The only negative was a small selection of beer (only one non-alcoholic), but still, 5 stars. 😊👏

Super delicious Halal Indian food here in Dublin, Ireland. I really appreciate that Chef made a different dish outside the menu for us(Chicken Madras). We ordered chicken biryani, along with 2 starters and a desert. Everything tasted to the point. The price is on the high side though. Highly recommend.

Don't be fooled by the unlikely exterior of Ananda Restaurant. As soon as you enter this Indian gourmet temple, you will experience culinary delights of the highest level in a stylish interior, with friendly and warm-hearted service staff (thank you Prachi for your kindness), a knowledgeable sommelier (...in an Indian restaurant!!!) and a top kitchen team. Even the papadam with the various chutneys were very tasty. Our first greeting from the kitchen in a restaurant in Ireland, we had after 14 days in an Indian restaurant(!!!), was a chickpea croquette, very finely prepared. For starters we had a stunning Jaipuri Raj Kachori and Cuttack Tandoori Prawns just delicious. For the main course we had the vegetarian Shakahari Thali, those who have travelled a lot by train in India know to appreciate a proper thali and this was infinitely better than the one in the Indian Railways trains and stations. Finally, we couldn't miss the divine Gulab Jamun. We have not enjoyed such an Indian dinner for years. Surprisingly, there was a Riesling with all the dishes, and a sweet one from New Zealand for dessert, and the Rieslings go excellently with the Indian, mainly vegetarian food, just as the sommelier had suggested. We also had the great fortune to be able to express our respect to the chef from Kerala for his culinary art.

I love Indian food, & in my opinion, the flavours of Indian food are very forgiving for those of us with a less sophisticated palette. So it's been a while since I've had truly exceptional stand out Indian cuisine, until yesterday at Ananda. The decor is beautiful. The background music was great, not the usual Indian music which perhaps may not be enjoyed by all. To start we had really interesting potatoe pancakes with a date chutney, & we paired it with chicken done 3 ways. Both starters were very tasty, but the potatoe pancakes were delicious & very unique I thought. The chicken was tender, & each of the 3 flavours were distinct & tasty. For mains we had Butter Chicken, Lamb Rogan Josh & Dhal Makhani. The Dhal was the best I've had, even when comparing to business trips to India where I've had the opportunity to eat at some wonderful restaurants. If you can't manage spicy foods, I'd recommend the Butter Chicken. The Lamb Rogan Josh was slightly spicy. The Dhal was very creamy. We'll definitely be going back. Whilst it is pricey, the experience & the food was well worth it.

I was very excited to visit Ananda and I was not disappointed! The food! The food! So flavourful, so colourful. We were seated promptly and given water and poppadoms with a selection of sauces. We looked at the menu for a long time before deciding what to eat! I went with the Jaipuri Raj Kachori for starter and the Bengali Monkfish for main. The menu is pricey but what we received was worth every penny! The starter was so unusual but amazing, the texture and flavour was unlike anything I ever had! The monkish portion was huge, and delicious! We also got the bread basket (the roti was wow!). My boyfriend got the Seekh kebab and the lamb Rogan Josh which were also fab! We also got dessert, which was the velvet cloud shrikhand and it was a flavourbomb! Altogether we paid 120E which I thought was reasonable with 2 cocktails and a complimentary amuse buche! Go here!

😐 Quantity over quality.... You get loads of asian food variety at good price yet not good quality. Food is not fresh hell some of them even a bit gone like the ribs (bad, tastless and on the edge of being gone).
