My new favorite bar in town! Very chilled and welcoming vibe in the bar with nice Guinness and whiskey coffee. If you are lucky, you get to listen to lovely live jazz music.

Arthur’s is one of my favorite pubs in Dublin since 6 years ago: great vibes and amazing jazz nights upstairs. However, I have to say I am really disappointed with the quality of food lately. It is more expensive than before the pandemic (I understand) but please a watery chowder for 23 Euro is too much even for expensive Dublin nowadays. :-(

I came to this jazz event for the first time. a really unique setting, with a traditional Irish pub on the ground floor and a jazz concert hall upstairs. You might have a pleasant evening because of the friendly atmosphere. really really nice!!

Lovely quiet pub, nice vibes, knowledgeable bartenders. It says on the outside wall in big letters FOOD ALL DAY, so I walked in for a pint of Guinness and some dinner. But their kitchen was unfortunately closed (~6 pm, so not too late for dinner) and I was starving, that’s why just 4 stars. Guys, if the kitchen is closed, please make sure people know it before walking in.

We had shepherds pie and lamb stew and it was the best in Dublin. Their service was extraordinary, the staffs were very friendly and polite. As Arthur's Pub being one of the most oldest pub's in Dublin I was a bit sceptical about using their washroom, but mannn it was very well maintained and clean.

Hidden gem of a pub located in the historic working class neighbourhood in Dublin called the Liberties This area is most famous because the Guinness factory is also located here. Discovered this place after doing the Guinness tour and the lunch was very good. Decided to try the Irish Stew with a side serving of brown soda bread (infused with Guinness). Irish stew was very good. The bread was out of this world - moist and delightfully heavy. The pint of Guinness was perfectly pulled and perfectly Not surprising give its location next to the Guinness factory. Place also doubles up as a jazz bar at night. Good music played during day giving it a cool vibe. Came back for a second meal and drink the next day. Tried the Guinness Beef Casserole which on my view was not as good as the Irish Stew. Nice friendly management and staff.

Have been in here on previous occasions for drinks but decided to try the food this time around. The food was delicious, generous size portions and very reasonably priced towards most places in town. Steak was cooked to perfection and the cottage pie was amazing. Staff are always friendly and courteous. Will definitely visit again for food. a great hidden gem in the city of Dublin, the pints here are good and they have some slick music on as well as that they do be doing nice food

Absolutely love this bar. I was here for my first time a couple of weeks ago for the Dean Friedman concert which was excellent .I'd be very interested in any good music events happening in the future.

Found this place because they had a jazz band scheduled. I didn’t anticipate the food to be anything but ordinary. The chef did an amazing job with a deconstructed menu. I had the smothered chicken with barley and it was Fabulous. My husband had the chowder, it was so light and the seafood was so fresh. I would give this place a Michelin star rating. Staff was spot on.

Great place to go before or after the Guinness Storehouse as it's only round the corner. Limited menu but I really enjoyed the vegetable curry as the veggie option. My sister had the Guinness stew (with beef) and she said it was amazing. Service was pretty good, really nice atmosphere. Regret not going back on subsequent nights but as they only have one veggie option (which was lovely) I didn't want to keep having the same meal. I support them doing a small menu really well but in an ideal world another veggie main would be perfection.

Visiting Ireland for the first time and we stayed nearby. Arthur's was our first stop and we came back several times during our 4 days in the city. The food was delish. We tried almost everything on the main course menu and loved it all. The ambiance was great. And our sever (Dillon?) was very friendly and helpful. Seems like a pretty popular place based on how packed it was in the evening!

The warm welcome we received from the barman was a good start. We I had a Guinness and tried the Guinness clear for the first time, it's not as creamy without the head but just as good.

This is a local pub suggested to us by a local Dublin handyman. Lovely all of the way around. I had the fried chicken strips and everything on my plate was piping hot even until the end of the meal. Same with the Vegetarian chili (rice is delicious), and with the Guinness beef casserole. The small size should suffice any appetite with the casserole. Veronica, our sweet and attentive server, could not have been any more helpful or pleased to be working at Arthur's. Cheers, Veronica!!!

Arthur's jazz bar is a great bar for any occasion. There is a huge fireplace and you can smell the fire while sitting inside. Great cocktails. They also have jazz bands playing upstairs (ticketed events). Highly recommended if you're in the area.

Stopped in for lunch on our way to the Guinness experience. The staff was super friendly! I had a great bonding moment with our server (didn't catch his name, cool bald dude) about Wicklow Wolf Wildfire Red, since apparently red ale drinkers are hard to find? Crazy. The decor looked lovely, especially the lit peat fireplace, and they had it decked out for Halloween as well! I had the best medium-cooked burger I've ever tasted (I'm a rare or medium-rare guy) and Matt's mashed potatoes could've been seasoned more, but overall a fantastic spot.

The venue is great, very irish and nice to have a drink in. Unfortunately food is quite... mellow. Not the best irish food I had in Dublin.

The most cozy pub in Dublin. Especially on Sunday, when it's not too crowded. I just love the interior, the fireplace and the whole atmosphere there. The guys on the bar are always nice and friendly.

I had read the reviews and this place sounded good, so we went for a traditional Irish pub feed. We got the Beef and Guinness Casserole, Traditional Irish Stew, Shepherd's Pie, and Fish and Chips. Every dish was phenomenal. We only got the small portions for the casserole and stew, and that was perfect sizing. The food was so good. Everyone really enjoyed their meals. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We could take away our leftovers, which meant we also had lunch for the next day. Definitely give this a try if you're in Dublin.

(Translated by Google) If you want to enjoy a beer or two after visiting the Guinessstorehouse, we recommend this pub.

An enchanting experience. Popped in here after the Guinness tour and it was great! The authentic wood oven with great big candlesticks on the mantle kept the restaurant toasty and warm. We had the soup of the day and it was a great big bowl of heartwarming goodness - carrots, parnsips, a hint of spice and everything nice! Ordering the regular size of the beef casserole was a tad bit ambitious but enjoyed every bit of it. The Guinness and the Jameson was excellent as well.

This was quite the find. It was recommended we visit here as it was a short 15 minute walk from our AirBNB. We took a seat and ordered a few pints, staff were prompt to grab our food order and it arrived just as quick. Opted for 'regular' portions and holy heck they were massive! Guinness Stew and their Irish Lamb Stew were to die for. The Guinness Stew was thick & full of flavour, served with a puff pastry round.

Went here after the Guinness tour for dinner. Service was friendly and each of us had a different main and they were all great! Shepherd's pie, beef and Guinness stew, Irish stew, and bangers & mash. Atmosphere was lively but not disturbing, they have jazz bands playing later at night. Would recommend to anyone visiting Dublin!

For anyone that had visited Arthurs before its worth mentioning that the pub reopened recently with a new menu. They've moved away from traditional hearty pub food towards a more small plate artisan style. Presumably still getting things off the ground so a much more limited menu with some interesting flavors and a higher price. I had the warm potato salad, which was a normal brunch hash served with long stem broccoli, and the corned beef slider. The corned beef itself was nice, the mustard and cider sauce was a bit too overpowering. Overall food was alright, service was pleasant and the pub still had a good atmosphere.

Very happy this pub is back open. While quiet on my last visit, the bar consisted of locals, tourists and workers. The staff were excellent on a slow night, which find the opposite on a slow night. Please visit this bar.

Haven't been to Arthur's in a while... but this Saturday morning we re-discovered it as an exceptional place for sipping an excellent capucino and reading your weekend newspaper near the fireplace. Real turf was burning in it, giving a cosy and somehow surreal kick to these historic premises. Their kitchen is closed for the time being, but you could pick up a media luna from nearby Bakeology and just enjoy being out of time and out of space for a little while.

Haven't been here in a while. Used to work close and had lunch and after work pints...... didn't have lunch today but the pints were still good. Wasn't overly busy as we were there between 6.30 and 7.45. Will def have a pint here again if I'm up this way.

Arthur’s is a welcoming and cozy pub with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. I have been to the pub many times and really enjoyed it, but last night I attended one of their jazz performances for the first time and it was fantastic! Arthur’s hosts jazz shows upstairs in the evenings, and anyone interested in live music should check out their website and get tickets for a show.

Poor service at the bar. My husband and I ordered beer and hot Irish coffee. We got beer right away, and waited 10 minutes for Irish coffee. Because a group of 13 people came and the bartender rushed to serve them, forgetting about me. When the drink arrived it was cold. And the bartender was not very apologetic either. Very unexpected customer service.

My colleague and I visited Arthur's to celebrate a professional achievement. From the ambience to the staff to the food, this place is lovely. We enjoyed our evening so much. In fact, when you reserve, you can leave a little note if you are celebrating something, right? So I did. And at one point, a wonderful bartender approached the table and congratulated us, and it was just so nice. My one teeny, tiny letdown - no music at all during our visit, which is a big reason I booked there. I wasn't necessarily expecting a live band or anything (though there is a highly rated jazz club on the first floor). But the website said that they play music, and that night they didn't. Still, would absolutely return to this pub, and many thanks to the kind staff who served us.

Brilliant place. Good hearty Irish pub style food. Nice selection of beers and brilliant cocktail menu. Staff are brilliant. The atmosphere is what makes the place, people coming to the jazz and blues concerts, locals popping in for a cuppa tea or a soup, some tourists for good measure.. This pub has a soul. Or maybe it is just the real candles.. haven't made it up to a concert but it's on the list of stuff to do.

In Dublin for a few days and tonight just looking for a local pub to have a pint or two. Arthur's was one of the closest and so glad we stopped in here. Local folk and blues band from 8pm to 10pm and a lovely crowd of friends. Great service and not too loud. We were a little too late for food, but that just meant more room for one more pint. :)

I greatly appreciated the service, food and beer. The staff were extremely personable offering vivid stories of the history as well as taking great family photos. The Sheppard's Pie was delicious and the pint of Guinness was the best I have ever had. I loved every second of my experience there.

Arthur's been a best place to go to while hanging out with friends and the jazz night is one of the best experiences to witness. The staff are always on the move with quick and smiling service. Very nice Irish pub, with delicious local food, good beers and extremely friendly service. I recommend to stop here, especially if you just came out of the nearby Guinness Storehouse (or you're just heading there).
