The Hairy Lemon's a fantastic place. We visited during lunch hours, and we got seated straight away. We had the homemade beef pie. It was very well made, delicious, and left me wanting more whilst also leaving me sufficiently filled. We also had the Dublin Coddle. Very hearty meal. It'd keep you warm in winter Also, there was the Irish Stew. Comforting and warmth filled portion. Buttery mash and tender lamb with a nice stew and homemade bread. And lastly was the Sausage and Mash. The sausages were perfectly cooked, and the gravy was so tasty.

The ambience of the pub is excellent. The menu is simple and the selection of drinks are quite. The food is slightly expensive, but tasty. The pub has a vintage feel to it with all its memorabilia. It is more of an experience rather than the food and the drink. It feels like one would step back in time when entering the pub.

I was a regular here years ago and hadn't been there in about 4 years... Decided to meet friends here again recently and was not disappointed. It's just as great as it was a few years ago. The bangers and mash was delicious, and the sticky toffee pudding for dessert was so tasty. The staff were so friendly and the music was brilliant. It's great that they have kept the standard so high in there. A really great evening.

If you are looking to visit the Hairy Lemon, it should be for the vibe and not for the food per say. This place gives that full on pub experience that people are looking for. The location of the pub makes it easily accessible and the vibe of the place helps with the whole Irish pub experience. I wouldn’t call the food extravagant. It is tasty, but not worth the price you pay, especially the fish and chips. Drinks are nice and enjoyable. The atmosphere and their service is class. You get to sit and enjoy your pint for as long as you want if it’s is not the busiest time of the day. Worth visiting once if you are in Dublin.

The best wings!! They were perfect! Guiness beef stew was fabulous! Diner’s Drive-ins and Dives from the food network in USA has to go there. Guy, you won’t regret it!

The Hairy Lemon was great. The family had dinner there and ate under the steps. I think it was the best pub food we had in our trip to Ireland. The staff was good.

Traditional Irish pub with a wide range of alcoholic beverages. Didn’t try the food but the Guinness was excellent and the ladies working here were very friendly and welcoming. Quite a convenient location for anyone fairly central. Would definitely recommend for a pint!

This a cool spot to grab drinks, watch sports, or just chill out. Great setting, vibe, and layout. Multiple floors. Cool chill spot. I went here for breakfast and ordered the Irish Breakfast. First time having it so I can't really say whether or not it tasted how it was supposed to or if anything wasnt up to par but I did enjoy it. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Me

It always been one of my favourite spots in Dublin. It didn't change it still is. The staff is great and quick - except for that one guy who brings the credit card machine and kinda forces you to give a tip! I've nothing against tipping but it should come from the patrons not the waiters. All this things being said. It is a fantastic pub so get there and get some black stuff into ya!

Loved it!! The lady who runs the place during lunch in on point. It was busy but we got Seated fast, ordered. Got food fast! Atmosphere is nice. If course tourists but also plenty of locals. Wings were yummy. Fish and chips great. Vol au vent could have been better. Beer was good. Prices too. We'll be back

The hamburger is wonderful, the potato weds are the best ever, the atmosphere is super high-spirited. And to close the night, the singer stole the show! I loved him! It should have his name somewhere so we can follow him to every pub he plays. Could someone tell us who this singer is? Thank you very much.

Dropped in on a Bank Holiday Monday, Thankfully it wasn't a busy afternoon. Plenty of seats inside and out. Staff were busy but very attentive. I Had a couple of Beautiful pints of Guinness. Ordered the Fish and Chips. Absolutely cooked to perfection (for me) Batter was light and crisp. Staff very Helpful and polite. Toilets and overall pub was clean and plenty of fresh air. Will Definitely be back.

This is a very highly rated and popular pub in Dublin and I can see why - the atmosphere was fantastic, customer service was great and it was packed. I had the Beef and Guinness pie and it was delicious (not the best stew I had in Dublin but still good). I initially went there to get Coddle as many websites and articles say that you can find it here but it was not on the menu - so if you're looking for that, you need to look elsewhere. The prices are reasonable. You should try to make a reservation in advance if you're visiting in the evening/night as it can get quite packed. Would definitely recommend.

Drinks were nice, but ordered two "macaroni and cheese" and got this. Fusili. No macaroni. It was bland enough, had to salt and pepper it for a bit of flavour. Knew how to charge for it though. Nachos were good.

Found this place through online reccomendation and it was one of my more favorite pubs in Dublin. Fairly busy for a Sunday night, but very quick table service and in an area with room to get up and move if needed. The Whiskey Sour was well made with their house spirit and the spicy wings are made with a supposedly well-guarded secret sauce that I'd say is more than worth a try. No ask for an additional drink after the food arrived, but I'd go back if I were in the area again.

Really nice pub, with great food but not very memorable. Even though the food was really nice, you can find other pubs in Dublin in the same price range with even better food. But if you come, I highly recommend the beef stew with Guinness was amazing with the puff pastry on top. Unfortunately, a huge let down for me was the atmosphere. Even though the decor is pretty, I can't shake the fact that I heard almost the entire discography of Ariana Grande, which was a huge bummer. And the music from the speakers was loud enough that you couldn't ignore it. I hope it was a one time case and on the other nights the atmosphere is better. In summation, great food but if you are looking for a nice atmosphere I don't recommend it.

Really cool spot with lots of rooms! You have to walk around before you can find a spot to sit down. Took us maybe 10mins . The guinness and beef is amazing Was going to order the sticky toffee pudding but was way too full

Came here for the chicken wings- they have the BEST wings in Dublin. Service is hit or miss- our waiter was very nice but others who waited on us were surly. We also ordered a burger- 6/10. Bread was falling apart and the meat was very tough. Tasted just OK.... would not order again. Lively place, nice pub for a pint.

Amazing pub and amazing food, really fast service! And the stew, was more then amazing! We have really enjoyed our meal, my wife had the soup of the day!

Nice pub and atmosphere. Food is great as well and comes very quickly. We were left a bit perplexed when we got asked probably 20 times in two hours if we wanted to order more (we were still drinking and with food on the table most of the times) or if we wanted to pay. We ended up staying (or we were allowed to stay?) until closing time and we kept making orders for the entire time, so it's really weird to get rushed this way.

This was one of my favorite restaurants in Dublin. They had some of the best food and service. This was my first time eating here since the pandemic and I was happy to see they were open. Unfortunately, they were under new management, the original owners were gone and they changed the menu. We wanted the lamb shank but they didn't make it anymore. They also didn't have the hearty stew with soda bread or shepards pie. What they did have was pub food. We ordered the fish & chips and the wings. It was very good but just not what we came here for. The staff was friendly too. Still a great place to eat but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here as these foods are popular anywhere in Dubin.

Great experience. True Irish Pub. Tried the Banger's & mash. The Fish & chips and the Coddle. Nice presentation. Food was tasty, did not disappoint. Our server brought us 3 pints of Guinness right when we sat down.

We wanted somewhere to have an authentic Irish stew. We're really happy with our pick. Although way down the trip advisor 4± star listings it's difficult to shine with so many great places to eat. You think it's off the beaten track but it's in a thriving block with large indoor market nearby, which would have been a major hub at one time and perhaps still is. It's a large rambling pub inside over 2 floors with plenty of opportunities to find a corner. The food was delicious, promptly served by super efficient staff. Affordable too. I'd read plenty of reviews of other similar pubs and seen plenty of menus from outside. Really happy with our choice.

Nice atmosphere, great pint only thing was the menu wasn't substantial. I ended up going with fish and chips and it was really good.

Didn't make reservations, so we arrived and stood in line in the cold for about half an hour. Came here because they were rated for the best coddle and Irish stew, but sadly those are not on the reduced menu. I'm guessing it's related to Covid. Hopefully it'll go back to a full menu in the future. Sadly, not sure when we'll be in Dublin next.

A good tradicional Irish pub!!! There are nice beers, the staff is friendly but too busy, the pub is intricately ornate, the outside area is small but comfortable, with a nice system to protect from rain. Would be better if the number of customers were limited and they offered waiter service. We had a happy moment with friends here.

Good vibe at the pub with good selection of beer. Food was satisfactory but nothing special. The place and the people were the main attraction and made you feel special and part of Dublin. Excellent pour of the guiness and great cider...definitely recommend getting the orange thieves. Great place.

The Hairy Lemon is the best pub in Dublin, hands down. It’s a great traditional pub that has become a great place to go for an afternoon pint or a late night get together. The staff is great and always helpful. Whether you’re going for drink, for food, or both you’re guaranteed a great time. Make sure you stop on by and don’t forget to leave a tip!

👍👍 Fantastic indoor entertainment venue in Dublin that holds up to 13,000 people. It's really well marshalled and queueing is kept to a minimum for drinks, food, merchandise and toilets. If you find the ground floor queues start to grow, just go upstairs for smaller queues. There's great sound and visi...
