Have been here for the first time and reading the great reviews my friend and I were really looking forward to have lunch here. Restaurant is lovely, nicely layed out, with a great view which currently is a bit suffering from the construction work going on on the sea side. Foodwise we were disappointed as we had checked in on a few things and felt misadvised, and it wasn't as tasty as one would have hoped for. We also felt it was a bit pricey, especially as we weren't convinced by the taste. As other people really like it here, it might really just be an unlucky day or we ordered the wrong meals, though these reviews are subjective anyhow, so am just sharing my personal view. For completeness, we had the Calamari as starter (which we thought are fried), the linguine a pesce, salad with shrimps.

Great place very close to the sea. You can't see the sea from the restaurant but for sure they have fresh seafood ❤️😋 My wife and I got nice Aperol spirits and pasta dishes. They were delicious. My son got lasagna and he loved it. It was an adult portion so he had lasagna for dinner later on as well and he devoured it 😂 The service was great and they were very fast with the food. We really enjoyed it and we're looking forward to come back.

Had a wonderful meal here to celebrate my partners birthday. They made the evening so special and made the whole room sing for him. The food was divine and brought me back to my days in Naples. I would highly recommend to anyone searching for authentic Italian food at a relatively good price. Will definitely be visiting again!

First of all the waiter was very kind and allowed exceptions for my vegetarian mum. There is music as well which helped me calm down. Food is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING The one downside is that it's very pricey

Nice restaurant, well located, a bit expensive though, so maybe worth for especial occasions only. Our food was delicious, honest portions. Friendly staff and quick service.

This is no pizza joint It is exactly what we need more of in Ireland It's an excellent Italian restaurant serving REAL Italian food The prices are middle of the road but the uninterrupted view over the Irish sea from the upstairs window certainly is not Staff are friendly and professional but not over the top. They also serve wine by the carafe or half bottle making it a good idea if you are in a party of 2 with one being a designated driver I can't wait to go back and work my way through the menu

We have been coming here for over 15 years. The food and service have always been excellent and consistent. Many of the staff are the same over those 15 years, and the menu has not changed too much either. Cosy tables downstairs and upstairs and a lovely atmosphere to enjoy fine food. Very good kids food too. An excellent weekend lunch menu and an early bird menu too. Can't recommend this place enough. (Also sang happy birthday to my wife on most recent visit which will be a lifelong memory :) )

Toscana is a lovely restaurant with delightful staff, who were attentive and interactive. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable among friends. Food was flavourful and portion sizes were just right so you didn't feel bloated. With mains being around the €20+ mark it's a bit more expensive, however it's worth it. A recommended restaurant.

I had booked a table for 2 outside and we had 3 unexpected friends arrive and we were welcomed thankfully with no fuss! I had the lasagna, garlic bread which was delicious, the others loved the bruschetta,, soup, chicken salad, chips and all were very satisfied indeed so thank you! Very clean, staff friendly and the view, just wonderful. See you soon.👍🌞

Really good view, amazing food and the service was even better. We got a table upstairs with a view of the sea, and we knew the rest of our night was going to be awesome. Highly recommend!

Been here a few times now. Today was a great quick lunch of delicious zesty flavours. 3 of us shared starters of meatball, garlic bread, prawns, calamari, croquettes washed down al fresco with Peroni on a very pleasant late summer lunch. Only thing I'd change would be the music!

Hands down one of the best places I've eaten before in my life. The filetto di manzo was cooked to absolute perfection. The quality of the meat was also good. My partner got the Linguine which she also thought it was amazing. The service was on par and the waiters looked after your every need. It was that nice that we came back the next day for lunch in which I then got the pizza to try it and again no complaints at all about it and partner stuck to the Linguine. We will be back soon

Absolutely delicious meal from the bruschetta starter, Pollo Toscana main course and fresh banoffee pie. First time eating here but won't be my last.

The food here is amazing. Our server, Nicoleta went above and beyond to make us feel looked after. Big shout out to her exceptional service and friendliness. Made us feel right at home. Thank you.

Food was enjoyed by everyone in our group. Prices were reasonable. We were seated in the upstairs area. It was a beautiful room. We were quite squished into our table, but we're a large group so it's understandable. There was decent space between tables in the upstairs area. The down stairs area appeared rather cramped. Both my starter and main were fish and we're very fresh and delicately cooked.

Do not believe the good reviews - this is the worst restaurant I've ever eaten in. The smell of damp as we sat down, the bad service, and our food was terrible. I got mushroom pasta which I can only describe as having a sauce that looked like dirty dish water. Honestly surprised this place is still in business. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Nice place, nicely decorated and attentive staff. Pity the food is so mediocre. Dishes lacking flavour and intensity one would expect for Italian food. Seasoning relying on salt as a flavour is not to our taste. The desserts nothing special either. Both ice cream and the meringue tasted store-bought. Disappointed that it won't be a regular for gluten free Dun Laoghaire lunches.

We ordered antipasti, prosciutto was not freshly sliced, mozzarella tasteless, poor quality overall. The brioche was very tasty. Risotto, not creamy, overcooked. Pizza was meant to be with mozzarella di buffala, but it was definitely not buffala, no taste. Staff is nice and attentive ,pleasant atmosphere.

Really nice place to eat infront of the sea 🤩 ! Amazing meals from starter to dessert. I had the suppli, the spaghettis pesto (one of their several vegetarian options ☺️), plus the tiramisu 😍 with white house wine. I just found the experience really expensive for a lunch (50€ for 3 courses + 1 glass of wine) The team is professional 👌

The restaurant prefers quality over quantity and is too small. It is actually a house converted to a restaurant. The quantity is too little for the amount of money you pay. But it is good for a taste change. People usually go there to just talk. There are songs playing but the noise of people is too much to hear the song playing. The taste of the food was excellent but if you are looking to fill your stomach then this isn't the place you wanna go.

I really enjoy dinner in Toscana's. I find the ambience perfect for a relaxing evening and the service friendly, welcoming and efficient. I really like the menu as it caters for most tastes. The Italian dishes are authentic - I generally end up with one of their pastas - and the chicken and meat dishes are well up to scratch too. Not majorly impressed with the deserts, but that's just me; my husband loves their tiramisu.

The restaurant is not Italian. By any mean. The food is like Italian but has nothing from the authenticity and freshness of the Italian kitchen. The pizza is like from a super market. We tried the Margerita. The pastas were full of sauce with cream. I haven't seen Italian recipe for Carbonara with Milk cream. Similarly for the Tagliatelle with Salmon. Polo fiorentina also swimming in Milk sauce . The only ok dish was the Gnocchi di patate. Finally they didn't even bother to have fresh Parmesan for the past. Obviously the chef is not Italian and I geneiousky wonder why it's rated so high.

Beautiful spot with lovely views unfortunately blocked with the construction being undertaken across the way through no fault of the restaurant, it’s clean and lovely decor, has a very attentive service from the waiter/waitress. starter was good chicken wings were nicely seasoned. Very disappointed with the pizza for an Italian restaurant you would think they would get this one right. pizza crust was ok pizza sauce had very little flavour and there was an excessive amount of cheese not what I expected from an Italian restaurant more like a chipper pizza. I had high hopes with the reviews but unfortunately left dissatisfied with the quality of the pizza and don’t think the price reflects the quality and taste. Bare in mind I we only got wings and pizza so can’t account for the rest of the menu.

Fantastic Italian food. One of my absolute favourite places to dine in. Very accommodating, even for kids, whilst keeping a really pleasant seafront atmosphere.

Enjoyed the food but surprised how quiet the restaurant was for a Friday night coming up to Christmas!! Bottle of prosecco was €35, expensive and a bit annoying. Not impressed with that!! Overall though we enjoyed the night.
