Do NOT stay here. This place is despicable. They are lying, cheating scumbags who care about nothing but money. If they make a mistake, is it their fault? Will they be respectable and own and fix the mistake? No. They are pathetic. Communication is terrible (rude and filled with lies when it does happen) and they will not respond to you in good time unless they are having a party that leaves the common room trashed and disgusting. Run far away from this mess of a place. To respond to your completely avoidant response- clearly I have emailed multiple times (try reading the review properly... "Communication is terrible (rude and filled with lies when it does happen) and they will not respond to you in good time ) I've yet to receive a response on multiple emails, and I'm not sure this response qualifies? Was this an automated message? Devoid of character, just like this garbage establishment.

When I first arrived, I checked in through the security guard since I arrived around midnight. It was okay but he did not offer to help me with my suitcases when he showed me to my room and I had to go back and pickup the rest. The room at first was okay. I really appreciated that they had provided me with a sheet, duvet, pillow, pillowcase and a big and small towel. (When I first asked them if they provided those stuff they had initially said no, but turns out they did) Thankfully the bed was made when I arrived. A week later when I took out the sheets in order to put new ones, I came across the mattress which was VERY DIRTY and YELLOW. I reported the issue on the app, and in two weeks ( after I sent them a following message ) they brought me a mattress cover. The bed was very comfortable, yes, but I am sorry to say that it was disgusting. The bathroom is nice but I had an issue with the shower. No matter what you do, lots and lots of water will escape the shower and into the bathroom floor. The problem was that some plastic parts of the shower were missing. I reported it and they told me that that’s the way it is… (I had to buy a mop and a bucket and clean after each one of my showers) The heater in the room even though it’s good, it turns off automatically after some hours which is a bit annoying especially when you’re waking up frozen. The living room was very nice, nice comfortable couch and a great TV. I would have appreciated if they had more appliances available in the kitchen for those of us who are not staying to Ireland indefinitely for studying. The kitchen was relatively clean and cleaned almost every week by the cleaner (we were a relatively clean apartment so I didn’t have any issues). Laundry room was fine, although a washer and a dryer weren’t working. I had reported the issues at the front desk but they weren’t dealt with. My biggest complaint has to do with the excessive noise from the partying taking place every night in the garden of the accommodation. People would scream, smoke and listen loudly to music even until 4 am. Calling security was a choice but no matter how often they tried to make them quiet they always came back and security did nothing about it. I’d really appreciate if the security staff could take initiative and go and tell off the people partying without us having to complaint.

Too overpriced. Laundry machines don’t work properly. The staff isn’t helpful. They don’t look at age when they are assigning you an apartment so at first I had to live with old Spanish men. Then after making a fuss I could get a new room. The kitchens don’t have enough utensils for 8 people. Dublin is expensive, people are usually here for only a few weeks so they aren’t making any improvements. It looks nice in the pictures, but the experience is not good.

I was there for a week or so in August 2021. It's the worst experience I have ever had ! +: Location, storage space - : The mattress was disgusting (there were scabies..) and the shower as well (with hair and some blood ...). I told it to a girl from the staff who said I was wrong because she apparently cleaned it herself ... So they did not even come to check, despite the picture I sent them on the very 1st day of my stay. Very bad smell in the kitchen which was also really dirty (the fridge and in the sink). I was uncomfortable eating there so I never did. Definitely not worth the price, there are much better hostels in Dublin for this price.

The residence is well located in Dulin, which is good for getting around. Even if the room is not very clean, it is still practical, as are the common areas. On the other hand, some of the staff are simply detestable. It is impossible to communicate with them, they never make themselves available to help you and are completely condescending. Reported problems have never been resolved despite several reminders, the rules within the residence are constantly changing, as are the services offered. Compared to other student residences in the city, I would particularly advise against this one.

dishonest behavior and provided minimal service. It's especially disheartening that after taking your money, they neglected to respond to your concerns unless they required further payment. The living conditions I encountered were extremely unsanitary, which is unacceptable. Furthermore, their decision to close all facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic, without providing any cleaning services, while still expecting full rent payment is outrageous. It's truly disappointing to witness such exploitative behavior, particularly towards international students who are already facing numerous challenges. It's as if they are taking advantage of vulnerable individuals for their own benefit.

Excellent stay. Great common area split between 6 rooms. Great views. We couldn't find A/C, but cracking the window shutters cooled the room off plenty. Very friendly staff. Huge help that they let us keep our bags there while exploring the city the day we left.

After 4 months at LIV I can say that YES it is the best student residence in Dublin :) The flats are bright, clean and pleasant to live in. The staff are friendly and smiling, they organise events to allow students to meet each other and to discover the Irish culture. The residence provides a weekly laundry service and washing machines for a small fee of 0€. For a student it is the best, because the residence is well placed in the city centre and only 10min walk from the temple bar.... So yes, you can trust me and choose LIV. Thank you again for having received and tolerated me during 4 months... Paul

The communal spaces are very nice, and you can always find someone to talk and chat too. The personnel is ready to help and answer questions when needed and the rooms are very comfortable. Using the kitchen is kinda tricky since it is also a communal space and other residents might leave it in not so clean conditions and the staff doesn't seem responsible of cleaning it, so you might have to take matters in your own hands. Location is perfect though, a few minutes from a lot of places to visit and eat at, you will have no problem with groceries

The accommodation is very close to the city center, and you have all the facilities that you need. They have gym, they have also a very good cafe and also i would like to add that the staff is always very kind, theyre always trying to help the students. I truly recommend this accommmodation.
