The queue for carvery is totally manic, plates gets passed to 3 different people along the way and gets confusing so we ended up with sides etc we didn't want or ask for, it feels very rushed like a conveyor belt. Food is really nice carvery and always recommend it as one of the best in Dublin. Couple of older bar staff are rude as hell. If carvery wasn't so good I wouldn't return.

Loved the experience, Carvery was excellent 👌 reasonably priced and great atmosphere full of old world charm and the background music playing added to it's appeal, well worth a visit and just outside Dublin Airport and I'd highly recommend it either before or after a flight

We popped in for Sunday lunch today. No table service which is to be expected when there is a carvery and from our limited interaction with they staff, they seems very nice. I’m certain on a typical day the service is excellent. Food was fantastic. It can be a bit confusing when ordering if you’re not used to it, but definitely worth going and really generous portions.

Popular carvery from 12pm to 8pm. Traditional fare of roast beef, turkey, ham and fish with your choice of vegetables. Fourteen euro for an extra large portion that could feed a family. 10 euro 50 for a half portion which would do most people. Tasty food, but old style. Salad bar and a nice selection of desserts are also available. Pleasant, helpful and attentive staff, who will serve up whatever you want. Popular with locals, but also a good stop off point if you are looking for a less expensive dining option on the way to Dublin airport.

Still a fond favourite of mine even after all these years ❤️ food choice and quality it's great and there is ample seating and parking, just down the road from Dublin Airport and Dog Friendly outdoor seating..Sundays are very busy so get there early 😀

Had Sunday carvery here and it was great, lots of choice on the menu and the beef & turkey was delicious. Good portion size for a good price, deserts, coffee and lots more available. Service was good even though it was fairly full and get there early to avoid the ques. Loved it and will be back.

This is one gem of a establishment. situated on the old swords Road seconds from airport. Great parking to begin with. but once you enter the premises you can taste the freshness, of the food. beautiful staff great atmosphere food amazing. It would be difficult to find a more pleasant establishment north or south of the city. If the coachman was treble the size it would not cater for the footfall on Sundays. people queuing outside, for a tast of quality food

Carvery style grub and incredible portion sizes, the pub itself genuinely reminded me of the old extinct scheme pubs in Scotland, the added authenticity of a drunk local trying to start a fight with other locals for the duration of our meal definitely added to the scheme pub feel. Guinness was average, stew was class.

We had the carvery and for the first time in my life eating out, they had gluten free stuffing. It made my day. The dinner was delicious. The portions were generous and the fact that they catered for coeliac and had gluten free stuffing made it a very pleasant day. Definitely return.

Incredible!!! This one word sums it up. The food has soooo much flavour, you get to choose between a ton of roasted meats, side dishes and tons of sauce. These were the half portions… Where do you get this much for just over €10! Will be back the next time we’re in Dublin, and over and over again.

Super Carvery, probably the freshest food carvery in North Dublin. The Roast Beef melts in your mouth. Generous portions, great service and great value for money. I'll be back. Highly recommended for lunch.

Came in for late lunch so no surprise the selection wasn't at its best but totally my fault due to the time.. otherwise it was a great place with friendly staff and amazing history dating back to the 1700's. Their website had all this history and it was nice to read up on it while letting my lunch digest. I am from Dublin and was gobsmacked to learn about an area I thought I knew... Well done on the website history section. Makes me want to do a tour, if they offer such a thing, I don't know..

First of all the most important thing is the food .I had the roast Beef and veg roast potatoes carrots cauliflower, mash potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. Just fantastic . Only draw back was the ques were very long and as this is a popular spot to go to on Sundays just too many people .And this is the problem Skipping the ques .

Good atmosphere, very nice staff. Had carvery which was pretty good but food could have been hotter. Would happily recommend. Victor

Decent carvery. Odd atmosphere, probably due to it being a place people just come to eat and then leave. Staff were efficient in an assembly line kind of way while not being particularly friendly. If you are looking for a good meal before heading for your flight or don't feel like cooking on the weekend then you won't be disappointed if you come here.

Always call in here for food when passing. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Good selection of carvery and plenty on the plate. Never had a bad meal here. It's always first class.

We called in for lunch today. Lovely food, lots of it and well worth the money. €45 for a table if 4. Absolute bargain. Gorgeous pint of Heineken, too.

Counter staff were fantastic in describing the food . Food was delayed lovely. I'd highly recommend anyone going their for food as is home cooking at its best . Also great value for money and they offer half sized portions for people with a smaller appetite.

Very nice and clean. Good, friendly staff who gave us a positive welcome on arrival. The food was very good and even half portions were large and tasty. Floor staff were attentive without putting you under pressure. Very pleasant experience - we will return.

Good carvery with very decent portions. Good pint of Guinness. Premises a little dated but overall, a good experience.

The member of staff who greeted us at the door was very rude. Behaved as if she would rather be anywhere else. Table staff were pleasant. Food was poor. Desserts were stale and flavourless. Unsurprisingly there were very few patrons.
