Absolutely delicious food. Serious quality at an affordable price. A highly recommended brunch spot.

On the 15th of April 2023, we visited Two Fifty Square Rathmines. The café was relatively quiet with only a few customers present. We ordered two servings of Avocado & Poached Egg breakfast, but unfortunately, the avocado was brown, and the poached egg was overcooked, almost like a hard-boiled egg. Neither of us had any of our dish. We notified our server about the issue, and they offered to replace the dish, but we declined and decided to leave based on what we were served. During checkout, the server offered to remove one breakfast from the bill and attributed the issue to their outsourced kitchen, Greenville Deli. However, we expressed that we would not pay for either breakfast since they were not up to the standard we expected. We were still charged for the coffee and water we ordered. When we requested to speak with a manager, the server informed us that she was the manager. We advise the owners of Two Fifty Square Rathmines to send their staff for customer service training, as the service we received was below par. They should take responsibility for the quality of their food, rather than blaming their outsourced kitchen. Additionally, it is important for the staff to maintain a professional appearance at all times, as we witnessed two employees having a disagreement in a less-than-respectful manner. I wont return nor would I recommend this café to anyone.

Hearty brunch place in Rathmines. The food was tasty and quick. The coffee is a key highlight to visiting two fifty square, so don’t forget to get one. The staff was friendly but seemed a bit understaffed.

What a cute place to enjoy your coffee and brunch. Ordered the beans with Chorizo and egg and lentils and broccoli salad. Lovely and tasty ideas. Liked the iced coffee too, especially on a hot day it's a must. Friendly staff too.

Decent food but it's a shame that it was the worst service I've had in a long while. Had to eventually get our own server despite them walking past our table multiple times, my order was wrong, and then I couldn't get it corrected bc no one checked on us until we were nearly done eating. Then when I nicely asked that the wrong item be removed from the bill, I got attitude from the server asking why I didn't let him know. (My questions to him: well how'd you get the majority of my order wrong and why didn't you check on us sooner?) Just an overall bizarre experience where none of the wait staff seemed to know what they were doing.

Cool cafe down the side of the Swan Leisure Centre. Two Fifty Square is an open spaced comfortably furnished cafe serving breakfast, brunch and lunch. Freshly squeezed juices, coffees and teas with a bunch of tasty after lunch treats it totally hits the nail on the head. Service is quick and friendly.

Can’t make up my mind about this place. Coffee is good, staff are friendly , but service is mixed and the kitchen is tiny so food takes forever. Definitely not family friendly but great place to meet for brunch and spend a morning catching up. Food is wholesome and fairly priced. Visited many times and it just can’t seem to keep staff which is a bad sign. On my last visit we were seated with leaks from the roof on both sides and were presented with a bucket rather then reseated or complimentary coffee for poor experience. Will probably be back, but for coffees only until they crack the cramped service model

Really good selection of dishes on the brunch menu. The service was very friendly and even though it was busy, our order was taken fairly quickly. The food arrived shortly after and was piping hot. We had Chorizo Hash & Cobb Salad, Botha were delicious and very tasty. Fully recommend.

Had an amazing experience going for brunch at this hidden cafe in Rathmines. Coffee was high quality, tasted amazing. And the food was honestly so much better than I expected... Just amazing. Huge portion and I found the price quite fair. It's a beautiful place as well. When we left, there was a big queue of people waiting to be seated. Service was really good. Will definitely come back!

The place was lovely and the service even more! They made sure that we didn't wait so long to have a table (even though we didn't have a reservation) and the food was delicious! You will find a variety of coffee (hot, cold chai, you name it) and salty and sweet brunch choices

Cute place for a good brunch but I believe price are a little too much! But nothing bad to say regarding service and product quality for sure, btw they have vegan / gluten free ice cream sandwiches!!

Just had lunch here with my Mam. It was her first time, and we really enjoyed it. The food was delicious and seasoned so well! Portion was huge. Was so filling, took the leftovers home. Coffee is so nice(as always). The staff were incredibly friendly which is always a deal-breaker for me. A clean, bright and well decorated space.Look forward to coming back 🌞

I visited two fifth square yesterday afternoon for a quick lunch while in the area. I was very impressed with the food and the interior of the place. We shared the Christmas sandwich and soup which were divine! The front of house staff were so friendly and attentive. The only thing I will say is that it seemed they were slightly understaffed. It seemed very busy for only one or two people to be handling - however we still had a great experience!

Some of the best brunch I've had in a while - amazing coffee too. Service was wonderful and the staff are a delight. Came during Sunday brunch rush but was seated and served on time and waitress was friendly and welcoming.

A great little cafe in Rathmines. Good healthy food for lunch or snack during the day and nice outdoor seating area. Hidden tucked away in a lane way of the main street so no traffic going by.

Took the vegetarian version of the eggs benedict, as for the ingredients texture and flavour the English muffin actually tasted freshly baked for once when ordering this meal in a place unsure if it baked on the spot or preheat but they made it sure to feel taste and texture to taste equal to that level. As for the eggs deceiving too small made good but for the size of the order, it should've been as large size at least as the size of the muffin the portion looks big due to the overdose amount of sauce. Freshly reminder breakfast SHOULD be healthy never put too much sauce and the sauce should be a bit runnier than it is too thick felt like was staying in the pan for too long than needed, the sauce is for taste not as for the main course meal. The decorations of the plating is fantastic not too much and not too little, as for the service, as for wait to the seat was quite quick. But for order took way too long. Nobody came to take my order in a long while. Everyone assumed that my table was taken care of without checking with each other, no basic communication with the staff, and basic service skills. Once approached for the order they didn't even recommend the weekend special with the arrival of the menu or attach it had to ask and took another extra time to fetch the right person. To find out if ill go with my original decision or the weekend special. But once ordered didn't take long to get the food that was mentioned hove. Need to improve a lot within the service strategy and ingredients portions. For the price offered by the menu.

More style than substance, coffee and tea were lukewarm and it took about 30 minutes for warm food to be delivered, the ‘Egg’s Benny’ and ‘Big Breakfast Brioche’ lacked overall flavour to be honest. Bit pricey for what it was.

Nice brunch spot with friendly service. Had the crab cakes with poaches eggs - very tasty. Tea came in a large pot too and kept me going through the meal. Not too fond of the open space layout but it happens to be bright and not as loud as expected.

Nice place for brunch. Food is nice but the place is quite busy during the weekends. I would say that between 12 and 3pm you will have to wait to be seated and the food can take time. Apart from the brunch and atmosphere are really good. Prices are average or a bit higher

Went here yesterday and ordered the chicken and chorizo sandwich after staff eventually came to take my order after waiting a good while .I have to say it was really nice and I enjoyed it . However my experience was spoilt went I went to pay and was told they only except card payments this was extremely embarrassing for me as I don't use my card due to being out of work and having limited funds . I had to go to the bank lodge money into my account then come back again . I could of been saved the embarrassment if there were signs up clearly stating that they only except card payments. I maid the point to the waitress who informed me that it dose state it on the menu but you wouldn't notice it as its extremely small . I needed to pick up and item for a friend afterwards but when I got there the office was closed all of this could of been avoided with clear signs .

Amazing! Ordered a brunch box, absolutely delicious. It even came with beautiful glass bottles of Tasty homemade lemonade and had such excellent coffee with it! I Can’t wait to try the many lunch options. When this place opens again I will be frequent customer. Two outdoor areas and such a beautiful fit-out, great staff too!

👍👍 After looking everywhere for lactose free milk, finally found it here in the food hall. Beautiful design, sort of art nouveau, with iron casted architecture, diverse shops and cosy interiors. Really recommend also for tourists who need to shop forgotten items.
