Awful customer service / I’d advise avoid!! I began my journey with River Medical in January 2020 and everything originally seemed great. I attended a consultation and really liked the surgeon so went ahead and booked surgery for May 2020. I was due to travel to Dublin for my pre-op in April 2020 and had rang/emailed/messaged on social media many times as I wasn’t sure if it was still going ahead due to Covid and it was only 2 hours before this appointment I finally got a response to say no. I was then told someone would get in touch to reschedule but had heard nothing so I then recontacted in August 2020 with still no update. I appreciate covid has been difficult but if River Medical could afford to pay staff to constantly run their social media throughout the pandemic to attract business I believe they could afford to pay a staff member to at least maintain some form of contact with existing customers… It wasn’t until May 2021 that I was offered the option to attend their Belfast clinic (which I later found out had been reopened for months previous) and I was left very disappointed with my consultation. The clinic was held in a run down MRI building (no reception area, cracked leather seats etc) which isn’t the quality I’d expect to receive from a private medical company. I also wasn’t able to try on any sizes so would of been going into surgery completely blind. I’ve also been called the wrong name quite a few times (Charlotte and Niamh) which isn’t professional particularly when I’ve always signed off both emails and messages. I’ve given the company many opportunities as I did like the surgeon but finally decided to look elsewhere and so requested a refund. Upon filling out the refund application it stated “please allow up to 30 days to process” which I considered normal however River Medical have yet again let me down by claiming their “accounts department are under pressure” so still have not yet received a refund. My advice would be to avoid this company!

I am really happy with the results so far and I look forward to attending River Medical in the future. Gorgeous clinic, it doesn’t have that “Clincial” effect, it’s like home from home. Any staff I have come into contact with had being so lovely and welcoming. I recommend everyone should at least attend once and you’ll know what I’m talking about xxx

I started attending River Medical in 2018 after having my second baby. I had a number of skin issues, including pigmentation, and fine lines from years living in the sun. I first met with Aisling who is amazing at what she does. She is incredibly knowledgable and knew exactly the treatments to advise and carefully created a skin care plan based on my needs and concerns. . Since then I have had many treatments done by Nicole, whom I trust completely with my skin. I love going back each time to River Medical because of their professionalism, their warm welcome and the beautiful clinic decor!

Had first session of cool sculpting done with River Medical today. Really good experience from beginning to end. I had Emily and Danielle looking after me, they were just so caring and professional and put me totally at ease, Emily is such a lovely girl she made sure i had everything i needed during my session and was really attentive. It’s my third time going for fraxel lasering and I’m seeing results straight away. The doctor and staff couldn’t be more lovely. Very informative and very honest about different options that I’m currently looking at. Very happy to listen to whatever concerns you have about your skin and guide and even advise to take your time on different treatments depending on what you’re looking for. So delighted with my results. I have congested and dark under eyes and they look a million times better now

Session 4 on the Emsella chair. 2 words. Life changing. This is a game changer in women's health. I couldn't sneeze or cough or even laugh without leaking, it was so uncomfortable and so embarrassing. My GP advised me to attend a physio who specialised in pelvic floor weakness. She told me she could me improve my pelvic floor muscles but it would take time. I don't have time!! After my 1st session there was a marked improvement, so after 4 I'm now confident to have a drink and a laugh/even cough. As I said this is life changing for women's health. Big shout out to the team who are so accommodating as I constantly change appointments. Thanks to Aisling and the team in River Medical

I am so glad that I came back for my 2nd session today. To be honest after the pain that I had for a month after the 1st session , i thought I will never turn back...but here I am. I first attended River Medical in February 2023 for the first of 4 PRP treatments for my thinning hair - fast forward to June 2023 and I am beyond grateful and satisfied with my results. My hair has grown and thickened out exceptionally, and this is really only the beginning. I am so excited to see how much more my hair thickens and grows in the coming months! The PRP treatment not only boosted my hair growth, but my confidence too! I am no longer self conscious to wear my hair in certain styles. I had ulthearpy with Aisling and it was fantastic to be in her capable hands. I did not know what was the best treatment for my skin and age and Aisling was informative professional and gave me confidence and reassurance in her advise. I went ahead had my treatment and it was very successful. I recently got an opportunity to see my before pictures and it was fantastic to see the improved tightening and skin tone as it is very hard to see your own improvements. I did the Fraxel treatment and I’m super happy with the great results. My skin now looks clean from all sun spots I had. I also loved the amazing treatment I had from all personnel there. I’m planning to do more treatments since I felt welcomed and well informed about them .

I am 6 months post Ultherapy treatment and to say I’m delighted with the results is an understatement. The treatment itself took around an hour, and has improved over time. This is not an instant result but a longer commitment to skin tightening, lifting and sculpting. I am delighted so far, I can’t recommend the treatment and clinic enough, from consultation to treatment planning and follow up ensures a professional, friendly and effective service. Absolutely delighted with my Fraxel results, my skin is clear and bright and the pigmentation is 80% plus gone, barely noticeable at all. I feel confident with little or no makeup on. This a a treatment that actually makes a noticeable and measurable difference. Don’t waste your time and money with creams.. get a Fraxel. Aisling is great, so lovely and knowledgeable and the whole experience has been very positive. I’ll be back for more treatments at River Medical.

Amazing results received after Fraxel treatment to treat skin pigmentation. I have previously tried IPL which did not address any of my pigmentation concerns. Highly recommend this treatment and River Medical.

Posting for my mother Laura - I am a woman in my 60s who had the secret RF treatment. I found it highly effective at softening deep lines and toning face and neck. The improvement was a lot more noticeable after the second treatment. Danielle who carried out the treatment is exceptionally skilled and honest with expectations. It really is worth the 100 mile journey to River Medical for me.The therapists ,nurses and Dr's are so nice and knowledgeable. I had two treatments last week and already the results I am seeing are amazing.I am so looking forward to September to start the next part of my treatments.

I recently had fraxel treatment at River medical, I am so happy with the results. Aisling looked after me and advised me on the course of treatment I would require, she was so lovely as I was very self conscious about the pigmentation on my face, she was very clear in regards to what it would feel like and what to expect on the days after the treatment. The day of the treatment I was very red and for the next three days I was swollen, my skin had brown dry flakes also but it was all fully cleared up after a week and the fresh, clear skin underneath was well worth it. I’m so happy with the results and will definitely be back to River medical, every member of staff that I encountered were extremely friendly and very welcoming

I've recently completed my second Fraxel treatment and the results are beyond my expectations. Aisling is kind, patient and took the time to explain the procedure in detail to me and answered all the questions I had on what to expect. I have a pretty good pain tolerance, so for me I found the discomfort level of the procedure quite minimal. I experienced about 5 days of downtime with my first session and was so happy with the experience I booked another. Everyone at River Medical has been absolutely lovely to work with. I look forward to visiting again soon for more treatments.

The Emsella chair is such a revelation for women. It’s a non-invasive solution for urinary incontinence, which can be caused by coughing, laughing, sneezing, or exercising. It does exactly what it says - targeting pelvic floor muscles. I personally found improvement after just a few sessions and have to say it has changed my life. I will continue to keep using the chair every so often to keep my muscles toned. Aisling Cleary is so caring and personable, I found the consult and follow up the ultimate in professional service.

Wonderful staff with warm, relaxing, clinic surroundings and fantastic quality and variety of treatments. Jo took care of my hydra facial and it was a great experience from beginning to end. Jo was friendly and professional and gave me really good advice, without trying to upsell. I would highly recommend river Medical.

I've been here three times now for a course of Pelleve eye treatments and I couldn't recommend River Medical highly enough. From a lovely welcome at the door by the receptionist, to Aisling who performed the treatment so professionally but personably, it was 5-star treatment during each appointment. The Pelleve itself is so pleasant and soothing and gave my skin a nice glow afterwards. What I greatly appreciated was that there was never an upsell aspect to any of the appointments, only recomendations of my options when I mentioned areas of concern on my face. A big thanks to Aisling for being so kind and knowledgeable. I'll be 40 next year so I'll definitely book in for a full face treatment.

I had gotten my coolsculpting done at RiverMedical a couple of months back and i waited to leave a review for when I could give an honest opinion about my results! And I have to say I am delighted! As a 20 year old it was a little embarrassing and nerve wrecking to come in for a consultation to help reduce stubborn fat but my nurse Nicole made me feel so comfortable and at ease. I probably asked her million questions and she was so patient and understanding it really made me feel better about the procedure. Nicole gave me a very realistic expectation of what would happen during my aftercare process and what to expect from the procedure overall. The actual clinic is a dream, so tidy, neat and stylish it set a lot of confidence and I liked that especially considering how important a clean environment is post-lockdown. Now about 8 weeks+ after my inner thigh coolsculpting I see my skin getting smoother and my pockets of fat have reduced! I even started wearing shorts only a month after my procedure and that's a big step as I have avoided them for 6 years! Overall could not be happier with the treatment I had recieved everyone was so lovely and helpful! River medical was recommended to me through a friend and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them myself going forward. I was there for treatment on the emsella machine which I found to be amazing. The staff are fantastic. Shona was so good considering the amount of times I changed my appointment times etc. So accommodating. I will 100% be availing of their many treatments in the future.

Hi everyone I went to River Medical and meet with Aisling about my breast about two year ago unfortunately Covid-19 stopped me going any forward but the minute Aisling could get me to meet with a doctor and this your on 26th June 2021 I had my operation in Belfast by Dr Alan park he is a true gentleman I suffered with my breast for years so I decided to go smaller best thing I ever did in my lift for myself . River Medical is amazing and I would recommend it all the girls are so nice from the minute you enter the front door Aisling thank you so much for all your help and kindness if only you new deep inside of me how my life has changed since my operation.
