Dr Frank Kenny is great and also the nurse there. I can't remember her name. Nothing against the other doctors either , but the general feeling I get every time I visit this practice is I m just money for them. One of the receptionists is very rude and always talks you down making you feel like a nuissance. Once you have paid and are out, they don't care about you. Every additional minute you spend in the room is charged(by this I mean, for 2 questions is one price, for 3 questions, the price goes up substantially.) I only go there when I am stuck as they can accomodate visits quickly. My rating applies not to the competence of doctors but to the practice's pricing policy and mainly to the behaviour from one receptionist specifically . All I did with the reception was to express how I felt, and they responded by tell me how I should feel. Not taking ownership for the increasing number of feedbacls like mine proves my point. Finally, the reason for my feedbacks is to share my experience with google map users but also with business so that they can improve on their services/products.

The service is rarely professional, exceptionally unfriendly, and more similar to a business, where everything is done for money. Appointments are given one after another, and for this reason, there's a constant delay they treat like something ordinary when it's not; allowing more spaces between patients could be the solution, but in this way, they will make less money, and that's clearly what they want to avoid. The receptionists are one of the main issues: once, my husband went for an emergency, and they told us to get an appointment, sending us away because we didn't have one. He was unwell, but they didn't care; we had to come home and get an appointment before he was eventually seen. Repeat: he was severely sick with an allergic reaction! And since they split into two clinics, the quality of doctors in Lazer Lane is worsened: I've been there three times because I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, and I never came out with a solution or at least something to look forward to considering my underlying conditions. Once, I had to diagnose myself while the doctor kept saying, "yes, that could be if you say so". On the flip side, Dr Mary Scott is amazing; she moved to the Castleforbes clinic, so I will move there as well, even if it's far from where I am located. The Lazer Lane clinic is just unbearable regarding professionalism and care.

I changed my GP to Hanover medical centre because it was closer to my home and looked like a highly professional establishment. Well was i wrong, two of the GP's i had were extremely rude, i felt like a burden anytime i went to see my GP. The receptionist are the worst receptionist i have ever come across, they do not have a clue what they are doing, anytime i have rang them they told me they will give me a call back... never called me back - also feel like a burden when i have to ring. Utter disgrace for such a lovely area you would expect a higher standard. I have switched GP's to a different area and i am so glad i did! wouldn't recommend anyone wasting their hard earned money!!

As a young professional working in tech, this is not a good place to get supported medically. Getting treated feels like a factory, in which they just roll patients from a hall in practicioners' doors, in which you get an available doctor at random. the waiting area is just open in the entrance hall with minimal chairs and right next to the front desks, there's no hospitality, and you will pay for every little administrative service you will ask for 30€, such as a letter confirming you contracted COVID. Some of the doctors will simply refuse to suggest you any medicine to treat symptoms, and won't understand that paying 70€ to be told you just need to rest may sound frustrating;Tech company workers rarely need a medical certificate when you experience symptoms just for a few days. This place is not worth it.

Absolutely useless place, their only motive is to call the patient again and again and take money from them. I was called 4 times for ear wax removal (which could have been done in 1 time) and when they did it, it absolutely did not improve my ear. I will not recommend this to anyone.

I think it depends on who you meet. It feels like a business more so than a medical centre. I think there needs to be a notice in reception that there is a lift. Or if you are unwell reception can offer you to take the lift. I had a heart episode and was unwell and climbed the stairs, probably not advisable at the time.

I was a patient at Hanover medical for a few years, still angry about how I was treated, there is a level of arrogance and rudeness in this practice I have not experienced elsewhere. Only positive things about the place were Dara at reception and the nurse who did blood tests.

Good if you need an urgent consultation as they always have a free slot, at times even on the same day. It is a bit disappointing that as a patient you feel like they don’t really care, they try to get you out as fast as possible, once you pay. For instance, you pay 70€ for a consultation to just be told “ you are ok” , and if you have questions they just try to keep it very short. I think there are better places in Dublin, this is ok if you just need to get a quick referral or prescription.

I had an ankle injury which was causing pain even after 2 weeks. I booked an appointment with a doctor she didn’t even look at my ankle. Even after repeated telling her that I’m unable to walk properly, she gave me the website for a physiotherapist. My question is how did she know that my injury was serious or not when she did not even see my ankle. I went there at 9:35 am and was dismissed at 9:42am. So I was charged 70€ for 7 min for nothing. Horrible experience please don’t visit this place.

Really disappointed. It's taken me a while to write this review, but came to the decision that it was necessary. Was having some worrying symptoms, arrange an appointment/phone with a doctor and I said I didnt mind If the doctor was male or female..... I've dealt with a couple of female doctors there before. I think this was my first male doctor and WOW way to be dismissive, he even had the gall to laugh at me and tell me "I was falling apart" I was asking questions about the menopause and some other issues.... and he was dismissive this was on the 1st of June and I paid 70quid for the "pleasure" of being told I was falling apart. Dont go to this medical centre if you dont want to be told your falling apart.

I can't stress enough the fact that Dr. Mary Scott is incredible. Not only has she taken great care of my health upon multiple visits, but also she is lovely to speak with. It’s very rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and genuine care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. I highly recommend her. All the receptionist i came across on multiple visits / also via e-mail were great – they were very helpful, patient and helped with my work, insurance and welfare related bureaucracy. And going extra mile with keeping my rollerblades safe. Few times i showed up at the wrong location and couldn't make it in time but they were very understanding and flexible around my invisible disability and rearranged it for me. It is on the pricey side but still worth every cent. Thanks guys!

Very helpful, professional GP and staff. I just hope they can digitalize a bit, for example, sending appointment confirmation and reminder.

For anyone looking for a new GP, I'd highly recommend giving Hanover Medical Center and Dr Frank Kenny in particular a try. A friend recommended Dr Kenny about a year ago, and I have to say that he is by far the best, most attentive and caring GP I have encountered to date. Contrary to some negative reviews here, my experience with Hanover Medical has also been fantastic. The staff have always been kind and helpful, and it's very easy to find an appointment at least in my experience. I always got the help and care I needed and feel supported in every way with Dr Kenny. Highly recommend!

Wow best GP consultation ever 10/10. Went to the Hanover Medical Centre today. Got a consultation with Dr. Frank Kenny. Absolute legend. I have gone to many GPs across the country and by far Dr. Frank Kenny is one of the best. He really cares about the patients and encourages you to tell what's wrong with you and makes you feel comfortable. He gave me some medication to treat the symptoms and advised that I should make some lifestyle changes if I want to fix the problem forever. Dr Frank Kenny your doing the lords work man. Thanks for your help today

I had an appointment with Dr Frank Kenny this morning and came on here looking for somewhere to share my positive experience! I've been going to Hanover Medical for a number of years, attending various doctors, and have always been very happy. Dr Frank in particular is a fantastic GP - thorough, caring, kind and professional. I didn't feel in any way rushed and felt as though he really cared. Can't recommend Dr Frank highly enough. Thank you Frank, Mary and all at the centre!

Dr Kenny is a wonderful GP. Gives a huge amount of his time to his patients, i can't say i've ever felt rushed during a consultation. He's also a gentleman on top of that.

I have been attending Dr. Mary Scott for the past 12 years and there is not a more wonderful doctor in Dublin. She has looked after my children since they were born ten years ago. She has gone above and beyond for us on so many occasions. She is so easy to talk to and has a great way in dealing with children. She is a very genuine and compassionate person. My children have various health conditions and she has guided us through the various processes and gone out of her way to help them and continues to do so. There is never any problem getting appointments and the staff are so professional and pleasant to deal with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

It’s such a mixed review. I absolutely love my doctor Louise Jackman but unfortunately the receptionist always makes me feel horrible. She’s really rude and always treats me like I’m an inconvenience. I always leave feeling really upset and worked up.

Great service, wonderful staff and highly recommended. This was my first visit to Hanover. The scheduling of my appointment was efficiently handled. All paperwork was done online prior to the appointment. There was sanitizer and gloves provided at the entrance. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming. I arrived a few mins before my appointment and didn't have to wait long to see the doctor. I consulted with Dr. Gibson. He was professional, thorough and friendly. The examination and tests never felt rushed & everything was clearly explained. Thanks Hanover Medical!

I can't say enough good about Hanover Medical Centre. I have been a patient there for over 10 years and am extremely happy with the service. Most recently, I had an intense viral infection that caused me a lot of worry as it went on for two months. I was looked after throughout the process of multiple tests and kept up to date. The worry was taken from me and I felt comfortable that my case was handled. Along with that, the reception area is always welcoming and helpful. I can recommend Hanover Medical without reservation.

I have been visiting Hanover Medical for at least 5+ years (I think it's actually 7ish). Hanover and every staff member I have had the pleasure to work with have been nothing short of 5/5 stars, every single time. The care, the empathy, the efficiency and intelligence - everything one could ask for in a Healthcare partnership - it's here in spades. And the care during this covid time has gone above and beyond. I've sent lots of colleagues and friends here as well, and everyone I know is happy. TLDR; Highly recommended, solid 5/5 experience! THANK YOU for my good Health, team Hanover Medical!

Bad service, the doctor was very arrogant, I do not recommend it. If you look better on your files, you will find my profile in there, but I am not looking for a feedback, I found a place which I feel welcome and comfortable to go. Thanks anyway.

Super thankful to Dr.Frank Kenny and the whole team, who were supporting me through the long covid for almost a year now :) Really knowledgeable, attentive and so caring - always took extra time to check and make sure everything is fine. Can’t recommend enough! Apart from that, overall had only pleasant experience with the clinic from booking online appointments and friendly ladies at the reception to appointments themselves incl. vaccinations, blood tests, sight checks.

My wife and I have been with Hanover Medical for the last 3 years. So far we've seen Frank Kenny, David Gibson, Niamh McVerry and Sonya Nirwan on separate occasions. Each time we attended worried about our health and left with a satisfying response. They all listen very carefully, answer questions confidently and follow up with necessary medication, tests or even hospital check-in not to leave any stones unturned. I feel like they went the extra mile in all of our visits and this has been giving us peace of mind. I'd recommend them to anyone who's looking for a GP.

This review it's about the one in Castleforbes rd. If I could give them a thousand stars I would. I had an accident at home and burnt my hand. I was in pain and went here. The receptionist who is always super friendly and helpful saw me in pain and did everything she could to get me in front of the doctor asap even though I obviously did not have an appointment. I really appreciate it. Then Dr. Sonya treated me with extremely care and patience. She healed my hand and did a great job in calming me. I could never be most grateful for what you two did for me that day. Thanks a mil again.

This practice has compassionate ethical and moral people, the receptionists and the doctors. I could not recommend them high enough. Dr. Karl is up to date and progressive. You will be in good hands here. A good doctor is hard to find.

Dr Mary Scott was incredible today. The new location at Castleforbes Square is so handy, literally 2 mins from my house and beside the Red Luas if you ever need.
