Staff seems absolutely have no clue what are they doing, and seems absolutely unqualified. I asked and showed peace of equipment which is not functioning properly to what I received answer : Its been a year like this already. Gym looks like a gathering of 14 years old goof bags, disco music and lights. A gym is a joke, reviews are too old and not up to date.

I'm new to this gym but have to say it's brilliant it has everything you could want workout wise. The facilities are always spotless girls toilets/showers are always clean and any equipment too. The staff are so friendly and helpful very welcoming the first time and any time I've been in. Also if your not sure of equipment the staff will help you. I'd highly recommend πŸ‘Œ

Great gym with loads of equipment.very suitable for the person looking to do strength and conditioning training. Great staff, parking can be a pain at times. Only 2 minutes walk from the blanchardstown shopping centre SO IS NEAR TO ALL AMENITIES AND ACTIVITIES for all of the family

Not respecting any of the guidelines. Gym is full, machines very close to each other, no booking system, no sanitazation station inside working area. Also advertising that even during lockdown they will basically be forcing people to come in the same unsafe conditions by not having at least the option of freezing memberships and justifying that is because some "heroic" reasons, even though all their actions clearly point the main one: profit

The men's changing room has been renovated, elegantly darkened and luxurious. The staff are genuinely friendly and kind including the trainers + the clients here are not pompous (most) which provides for a welcoming atmosphere. The equipment is sufficient and of high quality, broken machines don't last long and if any, are attended to immediately. The coffee served outside is really the cherry on top, it has a nice body relative to the emporium serving half burnt beans across Dublin, don't submit to the dark side please. Also Saturday cheesecakes are awesome

Literally the BEST gym in Dublin, if not Ireland! Staff & team are amazing. Always upgrading equipment and only buy top of the range machines! Atmosphere is unreal, from the staff to the PTS and all the members, they are all a sound group of people. A real fitness community. Welcoming to everybody. Recommend for all fitness levels.

Westside is hands down one of the best gyms i've been too, the opening hours they have are more suitable than any other gym in the area. I have never been to a gym where the staff are as amazing as they are in westside, it makes going to the gym that much more enjoyable. There is a huge variety of equipment, enough for anyone to workout all of the muscle groups they want and the gym is constantly getting upgraded. An over all amazing gym.

Cleanliness was bad , ventilation bad , no water refills, not enough plates you have to go and look for it , equipment very tight to each other , changing rooms no space to sit down, 1 toilet had to wait in a q to use the toilet. Unsatisfied experience . Positive staff was sound πŸ™Œ

One of the Best gym. Machine’s here feel incredibly awesome, you won’t find these machines in any other gym in Dublin. The cons are Music & Water, worst taste of music whoever selected for this gym, you really need headphones here. No water to drink, you can buy it or you have to bring it with you. Decently Crowded in peak hours.

Honestly the best gym I’ve ever trained in. The welcome you get when you arrive and the team go out of their way to make any new member feel part of straight away. The equipment the owners invested in recently is absolute quality, it’s already bringing my training to another level. , because of Covid-19 they have added additional floor space so you can train safely with peace of mind. I’ve been a member for many years and the continuous investment into the gym is second to none, anyone serious about their training need to be constantly challenged and with the continuous upgrades I’m able to trainer harder and make the progress I want . I’ve trained in many gyms over the years and nothing compares to westside and their team. Their is a great vibe in the gym too which makes training fun , the members are sound . I highly recommend this gym to anyone, those starting for the first time to those training for years. The investment and new equipment added during lock down is unbelievable ... westside gets a 10/10 πŸ’ͺπŸ”₯

I have trained in many gyms in Dublin & abroad and can honestly say that this is "The BEST". The equipment is unreal & the amount of it is mind blowing... There are so many different machines, never do you need to wait to use anything. Constantly reinventing itself.. At a time when so many businesses are scaling back WESTSIDE has just undertaken its Biggest ever upgrade, brand new machines & double the floor space... Incredible!!

I've always known Westside Gym to reinvest in its members and the facilities but they have gone above and beyond in recent times, from an overhaul of the freeweights area to the most recent complete transformation of the gym to one of the premier training facilities in the country. There is such a welcoming family feel to the gym, when you are greeted by friendly staff and PT trainers alike, all there to help you get the best workout you can. The gym caters for all and is embedded in the community with a strong core of local gym goers to those who travel from far for the amazing facilities, even on day passes. I was proud to be a member when Simon tried his best to raise the awareness and necessity for gyms to be an essential service, when they are key to the mental and physical well-being of so many in this country. I also and along with many others had no issue continuing to pay out membership as at the end of the day this is a family business, one of the small business we should all be supporting so that they can keep supporting us. #WeAreWestside

Top 3 gym I've been in my life. No classes, no crossfit, no waste of time. Recently renewed, great new floor upstairs. 4 stars because of changing room quality and not well cardio equipped. Private girls area upstairs as well. Great value for money.

Amazing gym, staff and overall experience. Love the most recent upgrade. The many months of planning and the weeks of hard work have resulted in a truly great place to train. Appreciated the gesture of freezing memberships during the first lockdown but have been more than happy to support the gym during the second lockdown. If we don't support local businesses during these times they won't survive.

There is no signs encouraging people to use towels on benches, which leaves them sweaty. There have been many times I've come up to the bench and its left wet. Of course you can't force everyone to use towels but then again there is no sanitizing stations with sprays and paper to wipe said benches. Which then forces me to use my own towel which is not acceptable to say the least. There is no signs as well encouraging people to unload the weights after use, so they always are all over the place but never on their designated hangers. Again couple signs here and there would make the place much more tidy and welcoming. There is no air conditioning so usually the second floor stinks of sweat and there is really no fresh air there. Especially if you go in the evening you can sense the matured sweat smell lingering all over the gym. Yikes In conclusion the gym could encourage people to be more polite to each other by leaving a clean bench after use and unloading their weights (for extra gains). As I saw people in Flyefit have absolutely no problem with the same thing, I think Westside could follow the lead.

Hi Westside Gym, the reason for giving poor rating is that. Initial I paid in advance even before joining date. But due to my internship I had to move to different city, so I request for refund, days before of my joining date. I know there was no refund policy. But the manager told me, she will try the best, what she can do in this case. And still there was no result, she even agreed on refunding but nothing has been done in past 3 months. Just give me the clear answer. I had being emailing but there was too much delay in response and sometime no responses only. This very frustrating. I can’t keep emailing I had to do many other.

I signed up as a member 6 years ago when the doors opened and immediately knew it was one of the best facilities in the country. I'm now proud to be part of the team of personal trainers here and part of the amazing community. Staff and members make for a great atmosphere and the constant improvement to the range of equipment and the building itself is impressive to say the least.

Great gym with a great atmosphere and top class equipment. Have been a member here for over a year and would rate Westside as the best gym I have trained at in Ireland. The owners are consistently investing in new equipment and have recently added a full mezzanine upstairs to create more space for new equipment. The membership cost is quite reasonable, particularly when you consider the regular upgrades to equipment. All of the staff there are really friendly and helpful too. If you live in Dublin, you really need to go train at Westside, you won’t regret it!

One of the best gym in Blanchardstown, great opening hours with one of the best trainers in Dublin. Would find better gym in are and coffee shop out side the gym is a cracker, full ground coffee will lift you up after any workout. Would give it 5 stars but is missing, drinking 🚰 water station on ground floor and upstairs. Changing room for gents need extra jacks, and reorganized the lockers to make more space. And shower needs regulation of temperature, not everyone likes to go to hot shower after cardio or any proper training, as well would be nice to have options of cold baths or plunge.

Best equipped gym, kindest staff and excellent prices including discounts for students. All the equipment, floors and changing rooms are spotless and a fully stocked fridge when you enter The reason for two stars down is there’s not enough ventilation especially upstairs when the mirrors drip with condensation, if you don’t mind or you like humidity great

Before the second lockdown I thought everything was great in terms of the facilities and staff. However the company showed their true colours during lockdown. I thought their campaign to reopen gyms was to promote it as an essential service, but the truth is they only care about the money. This is especially evident with how they handled the memberships situation when they didn't freeze them. Along with this, fees do seem to be steeper than other gyms near by. Although it's a good place, I recommend not going here for a workout especially when you have gyms like Ben Dunne who are more in range with facilities and are also cheaper

Love, Love, Love this gym-always have, always will. Long time member who would train here without any of the extensive upgrades that have recently invested in (but wholeheartedly loves and appreciates them) . Westside has so much going for it-space, equipment, seriously amazing staff and exceptional value. They listen to their patrons and evolve with them. Delighted to be a small part of the Westside family.

I love training in there, very well equipped gym, times are very flexible, especially over the weekends. Just most of the staff look like they are forced to be there, never felt very welcomed by most of them, but the good equipment and timings make it worth it.

Did not freeze direct debit payments, payed €40 just before the lockdown and am expected to pay €40 again now due to some renovations, so €80 for just one month of use? Avoid this gym during the pandemic.

Not just your average gym. Variety of people within the walls of Westside. Ranging from your crossfit fanatics to your Mr & Miss Olympia. Boxing ring, heavy bags and even a boxing instructor on multiple nights a week. You're never far from a helping hand from the staff and even the patrons. Also for the ladies they have a sectioned off area strictly for you, so if you prefer to work out with your sisters and ditch the misters... this is the spot.
