I have been member to Ben Dune Gym for some time now. When the owner stated that there are no more, jacuzzi, sauna, swimming pool and showers available, no more Ben Dunne Gym for me. He said that the shower never been used, so no pint in having them available. Contrary, the showers were always fully used. I do not need weights, I had my membership for jacuzzi, sauna, swimming pool and showers only. On top of that, instead to decrease the price, he added the joining fee and only monthly membership available, not yearly.

Great Gym located very convenient in Blanchardstown Shopping Center. A very well sized cardio area and swimming pool. Free weights and an extra room for the heavy stuff. Wherever you go, it is clean and we'll ventilated. Free parking outside with enough space even in busy times. Separate and CCTV area for bikes and motorbikes.

Good gym. Getting more expensive every year, though (and I mean way beyond inflation). But it's still a good cost/benefit, IMO.

This was once the best gym in the Area or even Nth Dublin, however the pool and facilities have been removed and now its just like all the other "gyms" in Dublin 15. I was a member for 18 years and like many of the other long term members I would have paid more to have a leisure/health club with a pool steam room and Jacuzzi. it just a massive shed with row after row of machines and pounding music. I've since joined Westwood.

They made a new promotional video showing tons of new equipment and machines, so I join and then less than 3 days later the entirety of the fleet of new machines completely disappears. Staff are none the wiser and don’t know why they have all gone, can’t even give any reason or explanation for it and don’t seem to know if they’ll even be coming back. Very shoddy business tactics, very strange how a new promotional video gets posted and the social media coverage says there is new machines and then all of a sudden everything gets removed. Tried cancelling membership but they will not issue any refunds over the matter.

very poor and unfavourable experience of higher management/ customer service, Twice over charging membership under one name for a substantial period. They took quite a long Time to reply and did not kindly or proactively offer a solotion to refund these charges or even add credit to the account.

I go there almost everyday and most of the time it’s always crowded. You just have to know when to come in. Plus there’s no swimming pool which they once had… another star gone sadly

Extremely poor knowledge of training, muscle building in particular. I also asked a staff trainer could he show me how he works a technical piece of equipment. I was fobbed off, the so called trainer rather wad trying to chat up a female member of staff. "Do your job that I'm paying for". If anything remotely happens like this again I'll have him fired & other things plus he won't work in B.D. gyms again as I went to school with Ben's son. Friends.

The gym itself is not bad, however, we missed a dd and even tho I have wrote an email to see how can we pay for the gym since it seemed like dd will not represent, automatic answer said will get an answer in the next 3-5 working days, and two days after I got an email from Ben Dunne our membership is canceled because dd was not paid. No second try in dd, no answer, wrote another email after, still haven't gotten an answer back. We have paid again like we are joining for the first time which is ridiculous and there should be a better way to manage non contract plans. If dd was missed there should be a link on the website where you can go an manually pay cause there could be million of reasons dd could be missed.

Good gym and lots of machines so you don't need to wait for ages to use it... But I would give 5 stars if they had the "curved assault treadmill" and the climbing machine like flyefit Blanchardstown... is the only thing missing in this gym.

Popped in for a guest visit recently and it was a very positive experience. Huge private car park reserved for clients so no issues parking. Don't know if I've ever seen a bigger gym inside - hundreds of machines (cardio and weights), free weights, smaller rooms for classes etc. For the rowers reading this, there were about 10 concept2 in decent condition. Staff were very helpful and kind. Equipment well maintained and clean. For info you need a padlock for the lockers, though on my visit the staff were kind enough to lend me one. Warm powerful showers. Happy to return on next visit to Dublin or recommend to others.

For five incredible years, I've been a dedicated regular at this gym, and the transformation has been astounding. Going from skinny to muscular, I've built nearly every muscle in my body here. With just the right amount of essential equipment, it cuts through the fluff found in other overpriced, gimmicky gyms that prey on those who don't understand muscle gain. I've proudly recommended this gym to over 10 people, including my girlfriend, and they all love it too. The camaraderie and support found here is simply unmatched. The only thing that could make this gym even more amazing would be to bring back the pool and jacuzzi. Those were truly the golden days, and their return would complete this already outstanding fitness experience.

The gym itself is great however the direct debit system is terrible it tried to take payment yesterday when it couldn’t they cancelled my membership instantly without a retry or anything just an email saying membership cancelled and only thing you can do is sign up all over again which is a hassle and also means paying the sign up fee I’ve been a member for 5 months but after this I’m not joining again

Top gym, I don't mind the monthly membership fees of €29 but having to pay €20 also as a joining fee is ridiculous.

100% better with no pool. So much more room. And in these covid times definitely appreciated.

I've been an annual member here for a few years. It was one of the best gyms I've ever been to. It had a sauna, steam room and swimming pool. but then they removed everything to get more members. Now ??? It's just the ordinary place so I canceled my membership.

Just bought my 8th or something membership today, best gym in Blanch. So much equipment, right next to the center and the year membership is such good value. Will always recommend 👍

Easily one of the most spacious gyms with lot of diverse equipment. Even during the busiest times, never have to wait for more than 5 mins.

Great gym. Can't beat the prices and they've got just about any equipment that you could want. It's also nice that while you workout you can't get a car valet, and that there's a salon and a barber on site.

Decent gym ,completely different without pool but personally i think its better .They need to re open the showers very hard to train early and get to work on time without going home before hand

Awesome Gym, good and new machines. Safe as everyone respects the rules and clean after using the machines. No spot reservations so it a all good!

No more Spa and the nice swimming pool! It is very bad and sad. No point anymore to go there.

Great gym for the price, alot of space after removing the swimming pool reducing the crowding from before. Staff are generally friendly and helpful, not as well equipped as Westside or Fyre but does the job.

BDGs is the most average gym you will ever use. It's easy to get to and has a huge array of equipment, but they currently have no changing rooms or showers. Still, for €29 a month for a full membership, it's worth what you pay for.

A good gym if you just want to do your own thing. Busy at peck time and classes fill fast. The equipment is well maintained.

One of the safest places to work out in this Covid world in my opinion. The size of the place, the start of the art air ventilation and the fabric cleaning staff and everyone doing their bit cleaning after them.

Nice gym, some people are sleeping on the machines when it's busy but other than that the gym it's nice

  • 1/5 Miki C. 1 year ago on Google
Huge gym, but way too much people. Any day from 5 - 9 pm it's crazy. Your looking at 20 - 30 minutes to get to one machine

👍👍 I’ve lived in Ireland for just over a year and I’ve been a member of 4 different gyms at that time, this is hands down the best gym in the country , the staff are some of the most cheerful , friendly , welcoming and approachable people you’ll ever come across. The place is clean 24/7 , the equipment...
