Farmleigh is located at Phoenix Park. You can easily walk from 37 bus stop or drive.. It's all free, park and entrance .. just pay for your tea 😉 Farmleigh was from the Guinness family. The government bought it in June 1999 to provide accommodation for high-level meetings and visiting guests of the nation . It is a perfect place to have picnic or just a cup of tea and enjoy the garden and all green. They have horses there. There is a beautiful cafe , you can grab a cup of tea and enjoy.. Used to have a farmers market on Sundays. Public visits with a friendly guide are available for free. You can spend more then a hours there. A lot off to see. I really recommend it , I go there twice a week so .. see you there 🤣 For now , It's all I know 😁

The park is extremely beautiful, spacious, surrounded by individual animals such as: horses, sheeps, donkeys, llamas, ducks, etc. The meadows are neatly mowed and always very green. Nearby is a beautiful small lake with a coffee bar where you can sit inside or outside on the terrace and watch the lake especiallyon summer time . The roads are neat for walking, and the fountain is not in operation for a long time. You can even pay the entrance fee to the building and go through the entire building with a guide. The parking lot is huge and there is always room. This place definitely has a positive vibe. 😊😉👌

A lovely spot for a walk. Beautiful gardens, a nice little lake with a boathouse café. There are some horses and sculptures and a good few benches to sit down.

Very nice park (within the Phoenix Park), which was once the home and gardens of the Guinness family, now maintened by OPW. Car park (free), maintained paths, garden and cafe.

Fabulous park, house and gardens bordering the phoenix park. The parkland and paddocks are managed as beautiful wild meadows brimming with pollinators.the house is closed at the moment due to Covid but the gardens are open and free to the public. The walled gardens are amazing and are a haven for pollinators. I love the way native wildflowers and herbs are allowed to grow among the herbaceous plants in the borders. As you can see from my photos, the place is alive with bumble bees.

This park is awesome! Big enough to spend a couple of hours walking around and very close to city centre. Huge variety of old big trees, an artificial beautiful lake, animals farm, greenhouse and the gorgeous Farmleigh House.

Perfect place to relax or have fun. Alone, with friends or family. The place is so huge that you just couldn't get bored! The Phoenix cafe is so busy that there is always a long queue, but there is a good reason for that - great service and really delicious food!

I visited Farmleigh park with my family and we had a great time. It’s a very good place to relax and watch animals. We saw alpacas, donkeys, horses, cows, and ducks in the farm area. There was a farmers market on the day we went, and we bought some delicious local products. The park is well-maintained and clean. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable day out.

A vibrant celebration of India's rich culture and heritage came alive at Farmleigh Park. The India Day festivities were a captivating fusion of colors, flavors, and traditions. From mesmerizing performances to delectable cuisine, the event offered a sensory journey into the heart of India. The joyful atmosphere, adorned with traditional clothing and lively music, truly captured the spirit of the nation. India Day at Farmleigh Park was a delightful showcase of unity in diversity, leaving a lasting impression of cultural exchange and harmony.

This beautiful 78 acre estate and historic house is well worth a visit. Built by Edward, the great great grandson of Arthur Guinness in 1882, the house is beautifully maintained and welcomes visitors by providing a detailed and most interesting tour showing the wonderful furnishings and artworks that the Guinness family left to the Irish State. In addition, the house has a fantastic selection of rare books and manuscripts housed in a delightful library. As well as a visit to the house, I advise a minimum of an hour exploring the gardens, lake and seeing the rare breed of cattle - the Kerry Blues. A restaurant, toilets, an art gallery and ample carparking are available. The staff are most welcoming, friendly and helpful. The estate is situated in the wonderful Phoenix Park - another place worth spending a full day exploring.

Beautiful house, beautiful grounds, well kept, great parking, it would take about 2 hours of your time to get around it, there are glass houses and a fantastic walled garden. Well worth a visit and dont forget the nicest park in Europe the Phoenix Park

Cold early December day but autumn colour still lingers in places. Already the magnolias are budding in expectation of next Spring and duck fly low over the lake. Few people around but the western red cedar and sequoia are good company as always
