Herbert park is beautiful and I would definitely recommend trying the food market. The market has great fruit and veg, fish, meat, milk and eggs and also really good food stalls. The food stalls keep on changing and today you have on offer fresh juices, tacos, hotdogs, Indian, Brazilian and pizzas. We tried the pizzas and they were delicious.

Lovely park, well serviced by public transport and easily accessible on foot due to multiple entrances, and usually ample parking except at busy times. Three children's playgrounds, geared to different ages, a duck pond, tennis courts and croquet pitches, and football pitches too. And lots of well cared for trees!!!

Brilliant place, regardless of weather! Offers benches, playground, coffee kiosk, and sufficiently large space to jog, walk or any other activity. There's a large playing field further up, where you can even play soccer. All in all, good for solo / couples / families. Make sure to cross the road safely.

Will definitely be my go to place in spring especially for the Sakura/cherry blossoms. In addition to the green Park, there is a decent children's park near by.

Fantastic place to visit especially during April when the Cherry Blossom ๐ŸŒธ are at their peak blooming season. We went for the same reason and it was so magical with the pink & white flowers along the walkway. Kids enjoyed a lot in the greens too. The pond is great with the ducks & birds but it isnโ€™t maintained well as we crossed a corner of the pond where it was stinking a lot.

Sunday is the best day to come here, and if it is sunny, it's your day! Farmer's market is an added incentive to visit this place. Infants, kids, young and old, enjoy the moments as they happen!

A beautiful park! I love coming here. Its so peaceful and calm atmosphere. Plenty of walking paths and seating areas. Also a lot of street parking, free car parking after 2pm on the most road here. Nearby coffee shops too. A lot of ducks in the pond is also nice. Plenty of trees.

Being a small enough park separated down the middle by a main road parking can be very tricky it planning to go to Herbert park. One of the best things about it is the farmers market that happens every Sunday. This is a group of local street food and vendors set up for the afternoon which makes for a brilliant place to potter around, grab a coffee and a bite to eat. The park itself isnโ€™t too big so if you are planning to go for a long walk you may want to pick an alternative spot but itโ€™s quite scenic with a lovely big pond in the middle. The kids playgrounds are excellent and well maintained too.

Another lovely park in Dublin. It's so so beautiful and with all the flowers blooming. I absolutely loved it. I would have liked it more if they had a section or pathway made just to cycle around but couldn't find one. One can only walk in this park and cycling is not allowed.

Lovely park to walk/ stroll or run. Beautiful and photogenic cherry blossom trees lined up. Bird pond and children's play area, as well as ball-game field available. Please remember to comply with social distancing and other important Covid 19 protocols. Be responsible for own rubbish, particularly disposables (i.e. facemasks/ shield and gloves). 5/5 stars.

Herbert Park is easily one of the nicest parks in Dublin. It's a great spot on a Sunday afternoon to pick up some nice food from the local food market stalls followed by a stroll around the pond and through the park area.

Went for the cherry trees โ€ฆ found them a tad late in their life but still glorious. The pond could have been slightly better maintained.

Lovely small park in the south of the city :) has almost everything incl. walking alley, two football fields, exercise facilities, tennis courts, kids playground, Lolly's & Cooks cafe and Sunday farmers market. Another highlight is the cherry trees blossom in spring, which looks gorgeous in white and pink colours.
