The food selection is basic, but the quality is high. The offering revolves around 2-3 toasties, sausage rolls and 2-3 salads. But it's all very fresh and served in sensible portions. The coffee is excellent too. The place is bigger than it looks, and the team does a great job of keeping the queue moving and food flowing, so getting a table has never been an issue on an average Saturday.

Great place to sit, have a drink and enjoy the view of the lake. Any recommendation.

I came with my boyfriend for a coffee we were jogging in the park didn’t even know there was a hidden restaurant got coffees and sandwiches they were very nice the staff were friendly and funny as I could relate to them because we are around the same age all smiles when we were leaving also the nature makes it even better as you can eat outside if you want to enjoy some fresh air

Lovely place with vegan friendly options. The only improvements could be replacing the plastic cutleries with compostable ones.

Nice place to get a snack. Coffee is good. Wouldn't be mad on the some of the toasted sandwich's. Too dry. Nice place though.

Terrible food; pre-made dry sandwiches and miserable salads. terrible service; my server made sure he put his phone on charge, charged his friend for his lunch, had a chat with his colleague all before looking in my direction while I was stood at the till. Everything is overpriced gouging the lack of choice in the area. The OPW should be ashamed they awarded this contract to this shower.

Lovely location and scenery but staff are a disaster. Girl on the coffee machine has such a sour disposition. Two lads behind the counter seem like it’s their first day on earth.

Nice loacation, lake view and good coffee

As a location it’s perfect. Yet the food omg Not worth the money, 16€ or so for a ham a cheese and a bottle of water and on tea. The only reason I’m disappointed is that after having the sandwich something was off. Not really sure yet the ham sandwich had a funny taste or the cheese was out. For sure will be the last time eating something there. I’m sorry it used to have good sandwiches. Something changed.

A really great coffee shop to sit outside with a beautiful view

This is the cafe in Farleigh House - decent homemade fresh sandwiches (Brambles cafe) - kitchen closed now of course but takeaway operating. There are 6 portaloo toilets at rear of courtyard in staff car park. Location has wonderful ambience with small lake, pretty grounds & wonderful trees.

Great location/ premises ( 2 stars). Quality of breakfast offering has seriously deteriorated since change of provider.

I simply love this place. No matter how the weather is whenever we friends plan a day out we choose this place simple because of its beautiful location and views. Food there is good but not exceptional but with great ambiance you just enjoy anything. Even their soft cone tastes delicious. Its always crowded, don't know how the situation is post covid.

Fantastic place to go especially if you have a child. They are very accommodating. The menu is wonderful and so very delicious. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The surroundings are wonderful as well. Great for a walk before or after food or coffee. Definitely worth the visit. I look forward to going back.

Lovely cafe in the grounds of Farmleigh House, prefect for a bite to eat or a coffee after the house tour and garden walk. Standard cafe fare with good coffee and nice desserts. Indoor and outdoor seating, the lakeside deck is beaufiful on a nice day.

Love this cute cafe, fabulous scenery and setting. Staff very helpful. Food great. The almond croissant was a huge hit. A little more room between tables would be great. That is my only negative. Thanks
