reasonable collection, it could be a lot better, they don't have the very top end gear it's mostly lower to middle end equipment, suppose thats what sells, staff was fantastic and was served by Tara who was very attentive and very interested in her Job ( Cotswold I'd keep her not many about like that anymore, she got you 5 stars) well done Tara, you made the visit very enjoyable keep up the enthusiastic effort you give to other people.

Gotta love the attitude and the level service of these sale-attendees. I went to buy some gas for cooking, which they didn't have, but I was friendly advised to the nearest store (competitor) which was selling gas cartridges.

Great outdoor store with incredible service. My boyfriend needed a new rain jacket and looked through the jackets on sale. Sadly, the one he wanted was a bit dirty and we told the staff. He directly checked whether we could get a broken discount, but the server was down and he didn't know for sure. He kept it separate for us to check again the day after and it worked. The girl in the morning was super nice and helped us and gave us even tips on what to do in Ireland!

The story is well organised and has a lot of options. I went in to buy hiking boots, and the staff was super helpful and attentive. She got my feet measures and asked questions to get me the most appropriate shoes. Also, it's a tax-free store, so as a tourist (staying for less than 90 days), I can get the tax refund later with the forms. Don't forget to ask for it, if that's your case as well.

This is a good outdoor store with a broad selection of outdoor wear available: Mountain equipment, Rab, Patagonia , berghaus, the north face. This particular store has excellent customer service. Buying outdoor wear is an investment. I felt like I got expert advice to help me buy exactly what I needed. I would definitely recommend this store.

The staff in this store are excellent just really helpful and knowledgeable sound bunch of people.

The staff are super friendly in here, very knowledgable and really happy to help you. I also like the store is nicely layed out and spacious. I enjoy just browsing gear here to get ideas. One major thing is they aren't out to sell you anything, you can browse around and not feel pressured into buying something with sales staff coming up to you every 2 minutes like you get in other outdoor-gear shops in Dublin. Really can't stress enough how awesome the staff are.

Went to checkout the options for a new 50/55 litre technical backpack. I got great useful advice and product information, from a very competent and affable sales person. I bought my last 2 sacks from Cotswold... With competence and service like this, they are sure to sell me a third.... and some new watersport sandles... maybe a new down gillet...some... :-)

Good place to go for hiking/outdoor clothing and backpacks, they have a wide selection of reputable brands and some good deals occasionally. I've bought a few things from them over the years

The 2 guys on the counter- Rob and Aidan were so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They went to a lot of bother to check for an item, and also explained the cleaning and care instructions. I buy a lot of mountaineer gear and have been to other shops but none of their staff compared to this shop. You have a customer for life as a result!

Stephen and all the staff at this store deserve a raise!! Had a repair issue with my tent and the whole team worked to get it resolved. Went above and beyond!

Went in for a pair of hiking shoes, staff were very knowledgeable and wernt pushy towards any brand, explained the the difference between brands and styles, took their time will deffo go more equipment

Very nice and knowledgeable customer service, without being intrusive. More variety would be an improvement though.

Avoid on line purchases from Cotswoldoutdoor.ie as the returns address is in the UK resulting in a significant cost to return an item that doesn't fit for example. The lead times as are also very long 3-4 weeks in some cases. Alternatively consider an Irish webshop with an Irish returns address.

Bought a Jack Wolfskin jacket today. Nice, spacious store and friendly staff. Collection maybe could have been larger, but I found what I wanted.

Bought a Garmin device, which got delayed through no fault of Cotswold but Mark the store manager was excellent throughout. Delays happen, but great to see a proactive manager own and track down the issue. Would definitely shop here again.

Staff very friendly and helpful with my initial enquiries and then also when I had to return my item of clothing. One thing I'll say is that they seem to have a very quick turnover in stock. That could just be the fact I was shopping over Christmas but several items I was looking at were gone the next time I went into purchase. Good prices, good sale. Online receipts issued and a fast service! Happy customers
