๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ We love going here for a swim. The beach is secluded and safe. There a really great atmosphere here with super friendly regular swimmers coming and going. The steps down to the beach are very steep and caution is advised. Itโ€™s not acceptable by wheelchair or with buggyโ€™s. Great spot love coming here... People often mention beach, swim,

Clean and beautiful beach! Thereโ€™s no shower or chairs, itโ€™s just a nice public beach, stoned beach, so donโ€™t forget special shoes if your feet hurts from the stones as ours:)

One of the hidden beaches at Howth. Very picturesque. It is crowded on a sunny afternoon. Would be quieter in the mornings or late evenings.

Nice scenery but not suitable for anyone with mobility issues due to the steep and uneven steps from the road above the beach. The beach consists of pebbles and it is possible to find the odd fossil in amongst the stones. There are also some interesting geological features, eg, small sea caves and fault lines but these are only accessible at low tide and require a scramble over rock pools. Great care should be taken because of the tide and the seaweed on the rocks. There are some wooden benches along a wall at the back of the beach but no other facilities. The beach suffers from some marine plastic pollution but there is a sign requesting that everyone remove three pieces of plastic from the beach when they leave. This is a nice sentiment and we witnessed several people doing this, as we did too. The beach is worth visiting if you are capable of descending and ascending rhe steps.

Really good beach, close to the howth train station, nice to swim if you are brave enough to enter in the freezing Irish Sea. The location is protected against the winds

Great little beach, perfect for swimming. Access is very dangerous as it's by very steep steps. There are no facilities available on the beach. But there are many shops and restaurants nearby

Beautiful scenery but the beach itself is nothing special. It is fairly small as well. The path that leads to it is also very steep and fairly hard to walk up and down.

Lovely little stoney beach slightly outside of Howth village. Crystal clear waters, fantastic views. Popular sport for sea swimmers.

Extremely beautiful place. Loved the hike and the view. A must visit for any tourist coming to Ireland. The fish and chips are to die for, although there is lot of vegetarian food also available. The hikes are divided according to distance, and each one is as good as the other.

Lovely beach. In summer to chill out. Finally they brought there some rubbish bins. Local people are swimming the on daily bases. There is a rumor that when you dive, you will find a ship under the water which crashed on the rock ages ago. So, try it.

Amazing beach, surrounded by the hills avoid the strong wind. Perfect for a swimming and standup paddle

You can park at the south pier car park then walk up the hill to the steps that lead down to the beach (very steep). Pebble beach , swim shoes recommended. There is wooden benches used for changing. We had a lovely swim here and worth the effort to locate.

๐Ÿ‘ Liked this place, the pasta was a bit overcooked in my opinion so id recommend to avoid that but everything else was good. The chowder and mussels were very good and the guiness pie was decent. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ I had the best Guinness of my life here. I'm not sure if it was the 5 mile coastal walk, but the Guinness was so flavorful that I wanted to coat my tongue with it. Seafood chowder was also delicious. The pieces of fish were buttery and slightly fishy, and I'd have to spend at least twice the price t...
