Great walks and stunning views south and north along the Dublin coastline. Super for walking with a dog off lead and socialising with other dogs. Tea rooms with water bowls for dogs was a perfect end to the walk as well.

During my recent trip to Ireland, I visited Killiney Hill Park in County Wicklow, and it was a fantastic experience. The park was located just a short drive from Dublin and provided a peaceful escape from the city. The park's highlight was undoubtedly the spectacular panoramic views of the Irish coastline and the surrounding countryside. The viewpoint at the top of the hill was simply breathtaking, offering stunning views of the sea and the rolling hills in the distance. I was in awe of the beauty of the scenery and could have stayed there for hours. The park also offered great walking trails through the beautiful woodlands, which provided a range of different scenery and views. The trails were well-maintained, and the signage made it easy to navigate and explore. The park's facilities were excellent, with clean and well-maintained toilets, picnic benches, and a well-stocked cafe. The park staff were friendly, welcoming, and provided helpful information on the best routes and points of interest to explore. Overall, Killiney Hill Park is an excellent location to visit if you're in the Dublin area and want to experience some of the natural beauty that Ireland has to offer. The stunning views and peaceful atmosphere make it a perfect spot for a relaxing, refreshing day out. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy the great outdoors and experience the beauty of Irish landscapes.

Lovely climb...on paved roads. There is good parking place. A cute lil cafe that sells sandwiches both veg, non veg, coffee and soft drinks...price ranges between 7.95 to 11 euros... The round about way from the weather observatory through rockway was...little deep down...The stairs are far apart. So elderly can opt a short cut... Breathtaking views of Poolbeg, Bray n the surrounding areas...

A lovely place for a walk. Unfortunately, the tea rooms don't have any sitting area indoors. It's too cold to sit outdoors with your cup of tea in winter. The views were fabulous.

Beautiful landscapes & perfect walk for families with kids! Some hiking, some breathtaking views over the sea, an obelisk and a playground to cheer up kids if they become bored towards the end of the walk.

Today, I visited a wonderful park with a great hill to climb up to and stunning views. The park was very dog friendly and my pup had a great time exploring the area. The hill was a great challenge and the view from the top was worth the effort. The trails were well-maintained, and there were plenty of benches around for taking a rest. The park also had a picnic area, which was perfect for a lunch break. The park was also very clean and organized, with plenty of bins for disposing of any waste. In conclusion, I had a great time visiting this park and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and dog-friendly place to explore. It was a great way to spend an afternoon getting some fresh air and enjoying the beautiful views.

One of the beautiful park and a nice trekking place. It's not a difficult trekking but a good spot for a picnic with family or friends. My daughter loved to trek and play at the park. We also had a nice view from the pyramid of dublin and Obelisk. You have good number of parking places and good thing is free parking. It could be busy on weekends but you will still have few place left for the parking.

Stunning view, good place for hiking, listening your own mind, thoughts, relaxing and becoming 1 with nature. Amazing opportunity to run away from city stress and traffic for south side dubliners.

Killiney is a fantastic place! Everywhere I looked I could take thousand photos. At the same time, all I wanted was enjoying the view and feeling the peace coming from the nature. I wish I could stay longer to walk more around or sit anywhere and enjoy the sun.

Fantastic park, great walks (many), amazing views, fantastic for dogs as well. Free car parking, so many paths and trails to explore. No end to interesting features, met two lads absailing down a sheer face cliff. Would take hours and multiple trips to get to see everything available for viewing in this park. Also has an excellent playground for kids. Walk to the top is a bit strenuous but worth the effort.

Great for a stroll, lots of dogs to be seen, cafe is a nice place to stop at and the view at the top is spectacular even on a cloudy day. Apparently there’s an effort there to reintroduce the red squirrel which hasn’t been going too well unfortunately. Busy but some parts of the woods are quiet.

Nice park The Pin on Google maps brings you to a horrible entrance in the wall that turns into a narrow dark claustrophobic path between a wall and a slop of the hill. Use another entrance further up the road, where car parking spaces are on the road. The park itself is nice. I want to come back.

Car parks are an odd thing to write a review on but not all car parks are created equally. The views from here are great and that's before you climb up Killiney Hill. If you are a parent with young children, then the playground will be a great source of entertainment for them. If you are planning on climbing up the hill, be prepared to put some effort in but the reward is worth it. There is talk of releasing goats onto the hill to keep the gorse down and thus to try and reduce the risk of wild fires spreading. It would be lovely to see wild goats up on the hill.

Nice hike and convenient from Dublin. You’ll be treated to a nice sea view on one side, and view of Dublin on the other. Only not so great thing is that it can be a bit cumbersome to get to from the train due to the narrow, winding road you have to walk along to get there. But once you do it’s really nice.

A beautiful place to visit especially if you like walking yes, 100% is the right place for you. Not only that, you will see the stunning view of the beach and you can even walk along the beach, they are close to each other. The best way to visit this place is when the sun is shining. Highly recommended place to visit.

Quite a distance to walk from dart Station. But it's worth it. You get to see many houses own by filthy rich people along the way, and when you reach at the top you will love the view. I love this place.

Lovely park, with walks of various lengths and a pleasant cafe. Parking is ample, but it can get congested if the weather's good and on weekends.

Unbelievable to think a place like this exists in Dublin, it's like being in a Mediterranean location. The views of the city are amazing. I highly recommend visiting this park

Lovely loop to take the dog for a spin. Adequate parking, bins, benches. Medium sized open area on the top for playing fetch and the view is 'usually' great!

Undoubtedly one of the nicest spots to go for a quick hike in Dublin. Really fantastic views overlooking the Bay and actually a pretty solid little hike up and around. Some points you can get a little lost and end up against someone’s fence line but it’s not the end of the world.

We very much enjoyed walking this area when we went to visit the area during the weekend. The path is very well indicated by different signs and it is easy to walk, even if you are not in a good shape. The views from here are great and in a sunny clear day, you are able to see even the coast areas that are located far away. If you keep on going up the hill there are different walking routes that you can follow, which are marked in the maps. You can also keep on and try to get to an old church not located so far away (maybe 30 min away). The church is not impressive, but it is located in a very beautiful area where normally tourists go to take photos of the views. You can even see the area of Dublin from there if the weather is good, which is impressive. I would totally recommend to go to this area, as it is beautiful and there are many things to do if you decide to go and spend your day here. Perfect plan for a Sunday morning!

Fantastic park with beautiful walks and views of the sea. The car park is quite small so you may need to park along a narrow public road but don't let that put you off. There is also a lovely Coffee Shop selling snacks and sweet treats.
