Lovely beach with parking and lots of picnic tables and also grass to put a blanket down on. Also clean toilets.

Our favourite place to bring Monty at the weekends, and my place to take a break from writing. There's usually a coffee and snacks trailer with lovely toasties. Plenty of parking in the grassy area, and there are picnic tables.

Beautiful clean beach parking easy tide coming in so peaceful went around 11am so not many people l would recommend this beach all day long

Nice beach to stop by and spend some nice and relaxing time with family, friends juston yourown. There are plenty of car park spaces. A public toilet is available and a lifeguard hut with its guard doing their job love and passion they look over the beach throughout the day 😀.

A very beautiful beach with a lifeguard on duty, perfect place for young children.

Great place to go with family or for dog walk. Busy in any weather, but probably one of the finest beaches in Louth as it’s more sandy than stony. There are toilets by the car park. Those parking facilities would probably be stretched on busier days.

Beautiful beach good parking very accessible and also public WiFi is available too. On Sunday past I had to use the Ladies toilet, as the Gents was blocked and in a filthy appalling state. I know it's the Council's job to maintain it, but it is also the public's responsibility to treat it with respect.I honestly believe that what I witnessed on Sunday was down to disrespect by the general public which is disgusting and inexcusable.

Nice spot to call into to breathe in the ocean. Lifeguards on duty, free clean toilets and plenty of parking (midweek)

Lovely beach,two decent size carparks and toilets, Sometimes there's a mobile coffee/tea van on site...(Chinwag..on),with homemade pastries/cakes,on a clear day you can see forever!!

Nice pretty clean beach. Life guard on duty and blue flag. Less people than other beaches in the locale. Small car park, toilets and picnic tables

Can get a little hectic during this good weather with traffic as it's a narrow road, and cars parking both sides of the road... but the water was great, please leave no trace, take all belongings home...

I enjoy taking my 2 dogs here. Plenty of space for everyone and plenty of good long walks. The coffee dock will be a welcome attraction for day visitors

I have been to this beach a few times and it was always nice but on a recent visit it was appalling. Filthy dirty plasic bags and dirt in the water the beach itself was like someone tipped a bin onto it. Beautiful day, so it was packed and between the people and the rubbish it was a very uncomfortable experience. Would not be in a hurry to go back.
