We had a strange experience during our stay here. I booked two rooms for our family, and while checking-in was told that they were going to give us adjoining rooms. I immediately asked for our rooms to not be adjoining so that everyone could have some privacy. The associate nodded and said she would take care of it. To our surprise, when we returned later to finish checking into our rooms, we received adjoining rooms after all. The room itself was pretty clean and had good air conditioning. However, there wasn't a lot of surface area to place things or do anything such as eat. The elevator was probably one of the most efficient I have ever used. We brought some food back in with us our first night and decided to sit at one of the tables in the lobby because there was not any room for us to eat in our room. The lobby was empty because it was almost 2 in the morning. We barely had time to sit and open our box of takeaway before a member of the staff ran over and told us that we were not allowed to eat in the lobby. We were confused and said that we would return to our room and figure out how to eat in there. At first, we thought the associate simply thought we walked in from off the street, but he simply nodded when we said we would go back to our room. In a follow-up from management, they confirmed that they do not allow guests to eat in the lobby unless they are eating at the restaurant or cafe. If that is the case, I would appreciate there being somewhere paying guests can sit to eat or relax outside of their room. The front desk staff helped arrange a taxi pickup for our very early flight, which all went very smoothly.

Staying here this trip to Dublin and so far loving it. The staff is wonderful. The location is central to all of Dublin and very lively and fun. Libby music and coffee are great. The room is perfect with all accommodations including mugs and glasses and a kettle and tea and fridge and a lock box. Comfortable bed and bedding too. Good water pressure. Loving it so far.

Hotel is centrally located and almost everything is within walking distance. Super nice service staff. Ambience in lobby and hotel bar very chic. Extremely well-equipped fitness room. Big plus: - I had forgotten my headphones in the room. These were sent to me super fast and totally uncomplicated from the hotel to my home. Thank you! Minus points: - Price performance not reasonable. For 260€ the night I expect more comfort in the room (e.g. filled minibar, hygiene items in the bathroom, reasonably adjustable air conditioning and no mold in the bathroom) - Breakfast was a cheek. There was only a la carte instead of buffet (as we had booked it). You were allowed to order a maximum of one warm meal - everything else cost extra (although a mini omelette without everything cost 17€!). Sorry, but that’s not acceptable with the price. We also complained about this, but were only super unprofessionally teased by the service manager. - Our room was only cleaned in the late afternoon (about 4 p.m.), so that we came back after the morning tour and everything was still „dirty“.

This hotel is absolutely lovely. We stayed here for one night in between trips and the staff was just the best of the best. There was a sweet redheaded guy at the front desk who absolutely made our stay. (I'm sorry I didn't catch your name!) He had great recommendations and was really kind. The food is also genuinely good and the location is perfect. Rooms are extremely clean. I'd absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

Nice location in the Liberties in Dublin. Very friendly staff in reception, bar and housekeeping. Only a 10 min. Walk from Temple bar and the city centre but there are also a couple of spots to eat and drink nearby. The room was nicely cleaned and large. Perfect for a midweek in Dublin.

Very friendly and helpful staff; the rooms were clean, and the bed comfortable! The hotel's location is fantastic for exploring Dublin by foot. The staff at the bar and restaurant are always in a good mood, making our stay here an absolute pleasure!

My mam went in for some food and a drink with some of her old work colleagues. They had been there previously and it was lovely but it's changed. They had no west coast cooler which is all she drinks so 2 of them asked for tea and 1 wine. They asked 3 times to ensure the tea comes out with the food, ordered burgers also. The wine came down and the tea at the same time.. Next the food came and that was nice. The waiters kept coming over asking if everything was OK, 3 of them, each kept asking/bothering them more than once, it's unnecessary. 1 person should be looking after a table of 3 people. Then they thought they would have another drink so order a round of drinks after the food. That was fine until the staff came over and said they had to pay. They asked can we not pay when they're finished, they said no u must pay now. Very rude and bad service, not trained in the industry. Neither of them will be going back.

Staff were amazing. Room was as expected for €325/night Issues we were unable to turn up our heat. It was controlled by the front desk. Which I did not find out until my 3rd night of being chilled. The biggest issue was the room service and restaurant hours. Breakfast was only from 730-930am. And room service stopped and 900pm. Prices and food were wonderful! Maria in the restaurant was superb! Hint you can get a breakfast delivered at 700am for room service.

Simply spectacular! Just spent two wonderful days with my new friends at the Hyatt Centric Dublin. This hotel is located a stones throw from St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and I would say just off the main strip. There is a Hop on Hop Off Bus Tour Stop, right in front of the cathedral. I really enjoyed this hotel. The staff is wonderful, warm, welcoming, and friendly. I didn’t encounter one grouchy person, and I just about talked to everyone who works there. The rooms are quite large, and in immaculate condition. I was given an upgrade for being a Hyatt Globalist, and the room was amazing! Full of windows, fully mechanized shades and the ability to control the lighting from the bed. The bathroom was a white marble, with a deep soaking tub and stand up shower. The restaurant was quite busy, but the well trained staff kept things moving right along. I had the rigatoni, it was delicious. I can’t say enough positive things about my experience. It was…Spectacular!

This hotel is beautiful! Super clean and great location. About a 15 min walk to temple bar area which makes this hotel nice and quiet. The staff is incredible! Every single person was extremely friendly and willing to help. Great management. We had an amazing stay.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel. Very friendly staff. Overall location, good. About a 15 min walk from Grafton st. And same for Guinness Store House. Rooms are large and well furnished. I had a room to front of hotel and no street noise. Water pressure in shower not great, and also heard that from some colleagues who stayed also. Lovely bar in hotel. Very COVID compliant, parking issue very limited.

Disappointing! We went there for Christmasy lunch with the office today, decided to give business to a local restaurant, booked a table for 8, place was empty we were the only ones at the restaurant area which was fine. Orders taken fairly quickly and went downhill from there.. I went for a Roast turkey breast available on special hoping it will be a proper Xmas dinner well what I’ve got was dry breast of turkey, 2 uncooked sprouts, mash and gravy. Chef forgot about the ham, which turned out to be an awful ham croquette not a slice of ham!! After meal we were left with dirty plates and empty glasses on the table for quite some time. When eventually waitress appeared to clean the table we were ready for the desserts and coffees. Coffees came straight away but desserts never came! When we asked we were told that they have two big parties later on and chefs are busy preparing food!!! We were shocked and fed up of waiting, decided to cancel that order and leave to which we were told that 3 out of 5 desserts are ready if we want to share them!!! We left and will not return.. Shame on you Hyatt! Place was empty, staff busy chatting not paying attention at all.. shame

I had a layover and I picked this place to spend the night My stay was very pleasant. The front desk staff was warm and accommodating. My room was clean and the beds were comfy. Not too bad of a drive from the airport. It was about 25 min. with no traffic. Would stay here again!

Checked in after a long day of touring and decided to eat in the Seasons Restaurant in the hotel. Excellent decision! From the minute we walked in until we left, Luciano our server, was attentive, offering suggestions, accommodating our American-centric requests, visiting our table with refills of our drinks etc. the food was great and plenty of it and It was all served at the appropriate temperature for the item. Comfortable rooms with plenty of space to move around , hot showers, nice toiletries provided in the room. Over-all, we highly recommend the hotel and restaurant located near some incredible historic buildings.

5 stars! My recent stay at the Hyatt Centric Hotel was absolutely amazing. From the moment I walked through the doors, the staff made me feel welcomed and valued. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel's location was also perfect, right in the heart of the city. I had easy access to all the attractions and restaurants I wanted to visit. The concierge was incredibly helpful, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring I had a fantastic experience exploring the city. One of my favorite things about the hotel was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. They were always friendly, attentive, and quick to assist with any request or question I had. The dining options at the hotel were top-notch as well. I enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the hotel restaurant, and the room service menu had a wide variety of mouthwatering options. The quality of the food was excellent, and the presentation was impeccable. Overall, my stay at the Hyatt Centric Hotel was exceptional. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable hotel experience. The combination of the luxurious accommodations, convenient location, and outstanding service made it a truly outstanding stay. I can't wait to visit again!

Very friendly staff and lovely room. They also offered great Globalist perks which is one of Hyatt’s strengths at the moment. The breakfast was absolutely incredible too. One Minor negative, the bar isn’t able to apply food/drink to your room tab.

The hotel is beautiful. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and professional. They set aside a parking space for us so that we can charge our car during our stay. They also made some really helpful suggestions about where to eat - which ended up with us having one of the best meals ever. The room was spacious and so comfortable. The gym is well equipped. The room service was efficient and prompt, the food was delicious. The hotel restaurant, however is a disaster. The staff were inattentive, complacent and badly trained. I had to get up on three occasions to get the attention of the waiting staff. My requests for ice and lemon with drinks were ignored. I asked what the soup of the day was, and the waitress had no idea. She went off to find out, and then I watched her tend to other customers. We asked for the cheesecake on the menu which was supposed to be cheesecake with rhubarb compote and was given a berry cheesecake “because that’s what they had”. If you’re staying in the hotel, stick to the room service, there’s a €3 charge but it’s better than suffering the sub par standard of customer service in the hotel restaurant. And if you’re not, there’s plenty of eateries elsewhere.

Great location for exploring Dublin (especially if you're looking for distilleries). Service was good and the room was clean and fairly spacious. Beds could be more comfortable though and the parking situation is not the best.

Great hotel in a good location. Room was spotless, nicely decorated, and modern. The hotel is within walking distance to bus stops and sights, restaurants, etc.

We had four rooms here, including a suite, for our wedding preparations and the night of the wedding itself. Everyone really loved it! The hotel is really nice and has a great vibe, the staff are so friendly. The food is really top with nice gluten free options available. I’d recommend staying here and would again myself!

What a weekend we had in the Hyatt Centric. We where there for a medical conference 2 night stay with breakfast. Got an upgrade on check in. The room was spotless , spacious and all the assentials that you need. Even when we asked for extra towels they where so accommodating. Breakfast was scrumptious. The options available and the quantity where unreal. The atmosphere throughout was so friendly and attentive. We had dinner in the bar and restaurant and both where so tasty . Loved every mouthful. The staff from check in , cleaning , food and beverage where all helpful and friendly. I would especially like to thank Lisa Bowes and all her staff for the warm welcome in the mornings and anytime we where dining. They really went above and beyond. Also a big thank you to Andy Leung for making the weekend happen.

We loved our visit to this Hyatt. The staff was professional and warm. The location was perfect and as we plan our next trip back, we will book here. We enjoyed the lobby to gather, breakfast at their restaurant and the entire atmosphere. I give this location a 10/10. (We visited in May 2023)

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this hotel. The customer service is above and beyond fantastic and if it wasn’t for their help, my mother and I would have had a very different experience. Unfortunately, right before our trip we had a family member pass away so we had to rearrange a lot of details with our booking as well as the fact that we booked it through a third-party, so trying to get a refund through the third-party was very difficult but this hotel did absolutely everything they could to help us finally get it back. They were by no means the ones in charge of the booking, as the third-party was in charge however, they went out of their way to help us fight for our refund back , as we ended up paying out-of-pocket to stay here, however this place is worth every penny. All of the staff went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of and had everything we needed. One of the days my mother’s electric wheelchair was acting up and we didn’t know what to do, so the hotel sent an amazing electrician to help us figure out the issue. We got it working again and the man was so gracious and helpful. The bellhops were very kind with helping us with our huge amount of luggage and helped us transfer them to our cars. The staff at breakfast was super accommodating to our dietary needs, and were so warm and welcoming, which was a great way to start the day. Then of course I would love to shout out the people behind the front desk and in management who have done so much heavy lifting to help me figure out this refund issue with the third-party. A special thanks to Sean, Jane, Noel and the whole team. Thank you guys for going out of your way and helping us in every way you could. The service at this hotel truly envelops the definition of Irish hospitality. I would also like to mention how the rooms were very clean and very modern, as well as a great size which you don’t always get in Europe. Nonetheless, I cannot say enough fantastic things about this place as I highly recommend it to anyone. Everything we wanted to do was either a short walk or short taxi away, as well as feeling like we were in a safe area. My next trip to Dublin, I will definitely be staying here again and recommending it to all my friends and fellow travelers. Thank you all again!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Room was comfortable and spacious, the property is well kept and stylish and the lobby restaurant was good, we dined there twice. The service made the experience. Got a great recommendation for a free attraction from Abdul at the front desk, and Carmen went above to fill a small request we had. Would stay here again when we return to Dublin!

I had such a great experience at this hotel. It is very well located, within walking distance to nearby attractions. The room was spacious and modern. The public area was also very spacious and relaxing. Surprisingly, the food was very good. And off course, staff were all very nice and attentive. Well done Hyatt Centric.

We stayed here in November 2019. The hotel bar+ restaurant was so chic and convenient. The rooms were clean and well-kept. We slept great! Staff was accommodating and helpful, especially with getting a cab to the airport. Would definitely stay again- also, check out the little cafe right across the street- great Americano!

Nice new hotel with friendly staff and big rooms. I booked in for two nights as my wife was having a baby up the road in the coombe. I ended up only staying the second night but was charged for both. I thought it would have been nice to have been offered a partial refund or gift voucher for the night I didn't stay since the hotel was fairly empty anyway but didn't have the energy to make the argument.

We were going to a show at vicar St so location was perfect. Very good location if you want to be close to temple bar. Parking is available, but get there early, there's not a lot of spaces. Rooms were very nice and the food was great. Breakfast was perfect with a good menu and plenty of options. Can't fault the place at all. Staff were great too, very friendly and spoke many languages.

We had a meals and drinks in the bar, we weren't staying there so can't comment on rooms etc. Bar and restaurant was very modern, food was lovely and everything was spotless. Walked in but ended up staying about 4hours. Quite relaxed. Was a great alternative than headed to the crowded pubs in city centre.

  • 5/5 John O. 1 year ago on Google
Very nice hotel, spotlessly clean. The location is within fairly easy walking distance to the most popular tourist destinations. (Watch out for those e-bikes) The staff could not have been more accommodating or attentive. We also appreciated that, unlike most hotels, the restaurant and bar did not gouge on pricing. For example I had a. nice “Irish Breakfast” for 18 euros, which is exactly what I would pay in my local New York pub. The food was quite good as well. One other positive was that the bedding was top notch— no scratchy sheets or pillowcases. Would definitely stay again when in Dublin.

I don’t know how to adequately describe how amazing the hotel is. They hosted my wedding at the weekend. From the beginning planning stages right up to the end of the night, everything was perfect. Jane, Serge, Carla and their entire service staff gave us the most incredible day. All our guests have been raving about the service and said the food was incredible. The function room was perfect. My family who have stayed for the week absolutely love it. If you want a venue for your wedding this place will blow you away.

Wonderful staff, very welcoming, hotel full of atmosphere, great location. I was privileged to be invited to a private function and it was fabulous, 5 star, and I will be back. Only suggestion, in such an amazing, historic, wonderful part of Dublin, why not put the bar on the roof and let guests enjoy and appreciate the city.? Thank you all, wonderful evening.

This was the perfect hotel for our family of 4 (adult kids). The location is excellent and a ten minute walk to almost every landmark. The staff was welcoming and so warm which just made the hotel even more excellent. We had adjoining rooms that were very clean and quiet. Highly recommend.

This has got to be one of the best hotels I've encountered! Spacious, spotless and built on a Viking Settlement with a hallway of pictures of the artefacts found. Spectacular!! The reception staff are the friendliest and nothing is too much of a bother! Waiting staff in the restaurant are professional and courteous and always have a smile!! I believe your staff are a reflection of the management and this is shining through in this perfectly located hotel in The Liberties and five minutes from city centre!!

We spent two nights here at the start of our 7-day tour of Ireland. I can't say enough about it- very clean, super comfortable bed, awesome shower, excellent food and very friendly, courteous service. They staff was respectful and very helpful. Loved the central location too. We could walk everywhere. We hope to be back someday!

Two nights here. Fantastic location (close to shopping, eating, and Temple Bar. One of the smaller rooms we have ever stayed in, but every single thing was top notch! Comfortable, quiet, with everything working in room perfectly. Staff friendly and efficient. This is a pricey place for us (425 Euros a night), but worth it. The restaurant, cafe, front desk, and service was top notch. They have a massive staff which can handle excessive crowds (Summer time), easily / effortlessly. I can't say enough how well the staff in this hotel works (6 stars). As good as we have ever seen, anywhere. Note: We can compare this to the Jury Inn (Christchurch) very close by, and Jury's most expensive suite (floor 5), where we would stay only 1 week later. And can say that this Hyatt hotel is a cut above.

Spent a long weekend here and it was a fantastic hotel! Reception staff were super friendly, especially the gentleman who checked us in, the room is spacious and (very importantly) quiet. The breakfast was great and the staff were attentive and available although I do hope they reinstate buffet breakfast, as I presume there is quite a bit of waste from preparing full portions all the time.

Exceptional, attentive, friendly staff, clean, modern/ minimalist design, and comfortable through and through, the Hyatt Centric in Dublin fulfilled our top priorities when looking for a hotel in an unfamiliar city. Their delicious, made-to-order breakfast, security features that keep guests safely nestled in the residents-only areas (primarily wide hallways, well-appointed spacious rooms, and common areas), efficient, well-presented room service, and true-to-their website impressions justify the Hyatt's pricing. I'd stay at the Hyatt Centric again when visiting Dublin.

Me and my husband had our wedding at Hyatt Centric, we had an amazing experience with the place, room, food and service! Everyone that was working on the event was amazing, all of our guests were impressed with the delicious food and with the kind staff helping on the day. Jen was taking care of the event, and she was brilliant, we have nothing to complain, just to say thank you for everyone! We highly recommend this hotel! With love, Nathalia and Pilade.
