Absolutely fantastic trip from Howth around Ireland's Eye. We had a ball. Was great to see puffins up close. The kids loved it. I would highly recommend it. Great value and service. Perfectly located at the end of the pier and close to lots of great restaurants. We will definitely go again. Thank you for a memorable family trip.

If you like sea creatures, but have no desire to scuba dive, this tour offers an alternative.I experienced nature again, the guide takes you to float through caverns and beautiful rock formations along the waters  to see wild animals in their natural habitat ,was a fantastic ride , Many thanks to Irelands Eye Ferries

Thank you so much for the most amazing tour today. We saw all seasons in one hour and… a few puffins! Definitely did not expect those. The guide is the most enthusiastic and positive person I met - thank you! I will be back with my little one next time.

An amazing day out for all groups and couples! Our guide, Shane, was amazing and so knowledge about the history and wildlife! He was so accommodating when we missed our scheduled time slot and brought us out on extra trip by ourselves! He also rescued another boat on our trip! Would highly recommend :)

Shane, Amazing man with full on energy.... worth the money you pay. There is nothing to visit in the Island rather than this man takes you to around the island and show you seals and different dimensions of the Island. Breathtaking... I highly recommend. We visited on the 17th of Aug 2023. Lovely weather... Must try

Great experience! Although weather wasn't the best the story of the island and the nature around is breathtaking to be so close to the shore! Birdlife diving into the sea and grey seals popping up to say hi made my day! Ken showed great hospitality and love for what he does, clearly he masters and is passionate to share his home to us! Will come back to see Puffins next time!

Shane and Kim were lovely, great guides with great humour 😊 Enjoyed the tour overall, despite a random fog setting in very low over the island and sea. Lasted just under an hour, easy to book online or call ahead. Would go again without fog 😁

Ian at Ireland Eye Ferries was a wonderful host. We were greeted by name and made feel very comfortable. Ian stopped regularly to explain things and show us points of interest. We will definitely be going back again.

I was not aware that we couldn't get off and walk around the island at Howth. All reviews from a month or two ago stated that you could. That is why I booked using this ferry service. Also the tour lasted 40 minutes which on the website states over an hour. I felt like it was rushed as we were able to see the puffins but the boat didn't stop for long enough to get some photographs. The men on the tour were lovely but for 20 euro each, I would have loved to get off and walk around the island

We had a lovely trip with Ireland's Eye Ferries today. I had to reschedule at very short notice to a later slot and they accommodated me without a problem. Tour is informative while being just the right length for kids.

This was a right laugh! We did this one day, not really expecting much, but wasn't it wonderful! We saw some very interesting Geographical features and lots of birds. We even saw seals. It was so fantastic, I think we did it again the next day. You can wear a life-jacket if you like, but you didn't have to I don't think. If its nice, its so calm, and peaceful. We didn't actually get off and go onto the island, but if you do, you've to go up a set of awful twishty steps. I don't actually know what's for ye there, maybe bird-watching?

What an awesome impromptu boat ride! I would even say more impressive than the Cliffs of Moher, we had an amazing one-on-one tour with Shane himself and got to learn loads about local history! If you find your way to Howth take a walk to the end of the boardwalk, and go for a ride!

Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff Limited to 12 so very comfortable and not overcrowded Knowledgeable guide who gave a few talks on the different things you see Highly recommended, might come back to see the sun set or the seals sun bathing

Thank you very much, that was an awesome experience. Ireland's Eye is beautiful beyond description! Totally worth it if you're in Dublin.

So 5 stars and we didn't actually go! But we were caught in traffic and Ireland's Eye Ferries were very accomodating. Just a tip for anyone going...give yourself plenty of time for parking in case Howth is busy and if you can't find a spot, ring them or try the dart station. That said, there is always someone moving on if you give yourself those extra few minutes. I gave up before I rang or went to the dart station. My parallel parking leaves a lot to be desired so I wasn't too keen circling til I got a spot curbside. Not the day to be taking my time over it!!! :)

An incredible experience! The view, accompanying music, and tour guide made for a romantic afternoon. It was a privilege to see such a beautiful place. Location is great. Treat yourself to some seafood before (and after) your ride!

These salty sailors made for the best trip 2 days ago, slipping the boat in close to the island and introducing us to the wildlife; especially seals on the rocks and puffins on the cliffside. It goes beautifully with doing the cliff walk on your own, above, before or after the boat trip.

Great experience and well worth the money. The kids had a brilliant time. Beautiful views around the island where we seen seals, gannets and puffins. Would definitely go again when we can take a walk around the island and mark was a pleasure to deal with, very friendly and he even let the kids stand in the front of the boat to keep them dry as it started to rain🙂

Really enjoyed our trip around Ireland's eye. Our guide was so nice looking after our youngest child who was nervous getting on. She's been raving about the seals and puffin she saw from the boat. Great for tourists and locals alike!

Beautiful Place to visit. Scenery's fantastic. If planning to book a boat for fishing? Do you homework. Some so call fisher men should just stick to tourist site seeing. Other than that. Definitely recommend visiting.

Great trip, we just went there and managed to get 2 spots on the next tour out. Due to safety regulations we cannot land on the island anymore but we got to see seals and a ton of birds around the island. Guides are friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this short tour if you only have a couple of hours in Howth.

👍👍 This was, far and above, our favorite thing we did in in Dublin! The beautiful nature and verdant vistas of Howth were enlivened even more by Shane guiding us through the inextricably linked history and myths of this mystical land. While we got a great workout in, it was good for hikers of any fitne...
